Dr. Mark McConnell is an upland game bird biologist and quail habitat specialist who serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture at Mississippi State University, where he focuses on bobwhite quail ecology, habitat restoration, and conservation in working agricultural landscapes. He is widely regarded for his research on bobwhite quail and upland birds and for his outreach to landowners, hunters, and conservation organizations across the Southeast.
