Welcome to the Expansion Edit Podcast, where if you hang around long enough, you'll learn that you can achieve anything by rewiring who you believe you are. I'm Chelsea, a licensed therapist, turned identity coach for the woman ready to create an extraordinary life and become the living manifestation of her vision board. Not through wishful thinking or fluffy affirmations, but through identity embodiment using proven techniques, rewiring protocols, and psychology-backed strategy grounded in neuroscience. Here we talk subconscious rewiring, nervous system safety, identity shifting, and manifestation in a way that expands your life from the inside out. So let's unlock your next level. Okay, welcome back to the podcast. We have a good episode today, but I'm not gonna lie, it's a little bit outside my comfort zone. Um, I am gonna tell you guys a story. But before I do that, I want to just set the scene for you and how I want you to receive this story, okay? Because the way that you listen to it is gonna determine what you take from it. And what I want you to take from it is proof and fire and sense of agency. So a lot of times when we hear somebody's story or we see their life online or we see something online or in person, our brain immediately looks for reasons as to why it worked for them and why it wouldn't work for us. And this is not truth. This is simply your subconscious trying to keep you in the same place. So if you can look at somebody else and go, oh, well, they have this and that and this other thing, and you know, I'm in this situation, therefore, that's why, you know, they're able to do this and and that wouldn't work out for me, or whatever it is, or they're naturally blah blah blah, and I don't naturally have that ability, or you know, whatever it is. A lot of times that is simply your subconscious keeping you right where you are because it's safe and familiar. And if you've heard anything I've ever said on this podcast or in my content, your brain is always going to choose that safety and familiar and familiarity over, you know, the scary expansion that's not actually scary, but your brain interprets it that way. So as you listen to, you know, what I'm about to tell you, I want you to hear it as proof of what's possible, not as something that is separate than you. Okay. I'm not sharing this to say like, oh, look what I did, but I'm sharing it because I want you to see what happens when you change how you operate. Because a lot of you who are listening to this podcast and maybe follow me online, like you know this version of me, but you don't know the version of me that I was before this. And also shout out to some of my friends. I know you guys listen. So you've seen this kind of transformation unfold. But, you know, I just I want to set this stage because I want you to see this as what is probable for you if you do this work. So my entire life, I have been extremely shy, extremely hesitant, and in, you know, school settings or social settings or anything like that, I was always second-guessing myself. I was always making myself small. And when I would have to do a presentation or, you know, anything like that, I would get so uncomfortable. I would go bright red, like not just red, like splotches all over my body, like very obviously uncomfortable. And looking at it now, I'm like, oh, that was my body trying to keep me safe, like trying to keep me from being seen, like trying to keep me in my comfortability, which was not being seen at all. And there's a lot of reasons why that was true for me that make a lot of sense now. But that was always the case. And even like up in grad school, like in grad school, I had to give presentations that were, you know, around an hour in length. And I would absolutely dread them. And it didn't matter how many I did. It didn't matter how much I told myself I was confident, it didn't matter how much I told myself I was worthy of being there. I would turn bright red, splotches everywhere. Guys, it was horrible. It was really a horrible experience. Um, but it didn't matter anything that I did, even if I was like, I know what I'm talking about. Because in reality, you guys, I did know what I was talking about. You know, I knew the information, I had a unique perspective on it, I had knowledge to share, and yet my body would react this way, no matter what I did. My body literally did not feel safe being seen. And I want to fast forward now to this past weekend. And obviously, there's been a lot that's happened between, you know, grad school and my earlier years and this past weekend, but I spoke in front of nearly a hundred people on a stage with a microphone, didn't have notes, like I was being interviewed by somebody, so I I knew what I was going to say, but I I wasn't standing up there with a teleprompter or you know, uh PowerPoint or anything like that. It was just me. And it was conversational, it was grounded. I answered all the questions, I threw in my own personalizations, I had the crowd laughing a little bit, like it was very natural. And obviously, in the moment I was definitely nervous. I'm not gonna lie to you, I was definitely nervous, but I did not turn red and I reviewed the interview afterwards, and you guys, crazy, like I almost get emotional thinking about it because I don't recognize myself. I was grounded, I was, you know, scanning the crowd, like looking at different areas as I'm speaking, very natural looking, and it was great. So it was very successful. But had you told me that I would willingly be speaking in that way in front of that many people, even probably like a year ago, I would have been like, ha ha ha, you're funny. Like, that's just not my reality. I've never been able to do that, and I am almost 35 years old, you guys. Like 35 years of my life, I was not able to do what I did this past weekend. Let that sink in for a minute, okay? Because I seriously did not look like the same person. And this did not happen because I got more confident. Because let me tell you, I have tried so many things with like affirmations and you know, all the all the things I've tried it. And then when I back that up a second and I think about, you know, showing up online, building my business, making moves faster, shifting timelines, if you will, like that's really what we're talking about here. This is not just about confidence, it's about what you are available for. If you change what you're available for, everything shifts. And there's something in all of this, like this whole story that I realized is that if there is something that you feel pulled towards, but it feels uncomfortable and scary. Like for me, I like the idea of speaking, but it also terrified me because I would have this like visceral, you know, physical reaction. So if you have something that you feel pulled towards, but it also feels like so awful and scary and uncomfortable, that's usually not random because it wouldn't make sense for you to desire something that your system isn't built to grow into. So I almost think of this as like a calling. Like if there's something that you are passionate about, but it hasn't always been easy for you, that is something I would not ignore. Like if there's something that feels difficult, and I'm not to say like if something feels natural, that can't be your calling. But if there's something that feels difficult, difficult or scary or out of your comfort zone, but you just feel this pull towards it, there's a reason for that, and and you should really lean into that. And the reason that I was able to go through this shift of like being so scared to be seen on any level to speaking on stages and speaking on a podcast and having a very public platform where I show my face every day to almost 16,000 people, like that transformation is not because I have something special or I did something special, it's because I understood how the brain works, how change actually happens, and I applied it. I did what I needed to do every day for months, also with no evidence, guys. This is very important, with no evidence. I didn't have any evidence that this was going to work or that it was working until all of a sudden it did work. So I took my training as a therapist, my training and understanding of subconscious work, you know, getting my own mentorship, doing the work consistently, like all of these things led to the person that you see in front of you today, because again, I am not the same person. So I want to say that and say if there's an area of your life where you feel like I know that I'm capable of more, or I know there's a version of me somewhere at some point that could do this thing, but I'm not fully there yet, that is not a lack of ability. It's just a pattern. And all you have to do is retrain that pattern. And this is exactly what I did for myself when it comes to visibility, because visibility has been like my biggest, you know, hurdle, the biggest thing keeping me small, keeping me from really stepping into my authority and stepping into, you know, who I want to be, what I want to be, what I want my life to look like. So if there's something that you feel is maybe blocking you or you feel is, you know, that thing that you're scared of that's holding you back, I almost challenge you to lean in harder to that thing. And this is exactly the work that I've done with myself and the work that I do inside with my 1-1 clients, with my rewire session clients, and now with the recalibration room clients, like this is what we do, and you are going to see huge changes when you can target these specific patterns or blocks that you have that are keeping you, your subconscious keeping you in that spot. So I really just wanted this episode to be proof for your brain that somebody like me who is not special, who does not have, you know, anything that you don't have except for a severe fear of being in front of people and being seen in front of people. Well, not anymore, but I did. I want you to take that as proof for your brain that if there is something that you want to do, even if it's doesn't seem realistic for you right now, if there is a will, there is a way for you to do that thing. And it is a combination of subconscious reprogramming, repetition, identity embodiment. Like these are all the things that you hear me talk about all the time. And using these specific techniques and protocols and consistency, this is the change that you can expect to see. So I hope, if nothing else, you will take this as your sign to start creating a morning routine. Start doing your daily meditation, start creating this identity of who you want to be. And just even if you don't do anything else, just write about that identity and just continue to seep it in. And even if you feel like nothing is happening, know that on a subconscious level, whatever you feed your brain and whatever you tell it is important, it will start to integrate. If you want help doing this a lot faster and with more guidance and integration, this is what we're gonna do inside the recalibration room. And you can totally do this on your own. You can listen to a podcast, you can read a book, you know, and you will integrate this stuff. But if you want to do it faster, if you want someone to point out your blind spots, to point out the spots that maybe you haven't considered, really learning the skills, learning the ways that we can integrate this work into the subconscious, and then also applying it in real time to your life, your work, your business, your talent, whatever it is, that's what we're going to do. And it just quickens the timeline of you getting to that version of you who has everything that you're currently working towards. So the doors are now open. If you feel called or a nudge that this might be the space for you, please reach out, message me. I'd love to connect and answer any questions that you have. But really, my biggest thing is now that I've done this work, now that I understand how it works and how how much of an uh how much of an impact it has had on my life and what now I am able to go and do moving forward, I want everyone to experience this because I think a lot of times we have these ideas about what stops us, and we don't think that those things can be changed or moved. I know I didn't think that my visibility problems could be changed because I literally tried everything, or so I thought, right? So I just really want women, especially capable, smart, driven, ambitious women that I know listen to this podcast to succeed because they're totally capable of doing the thing that they're maybe feeling blocked from right now. So again, I want you to take this episode as proof that what you want to do is totally within reason and within your ability to manifest it into reality. And I hope that this sparks something in you. I hope it lights you up. I hope that it makes you leave this podcast and jump into your passion. And I will see you in the next one.
