This episode is a real, honest look at something most people don’t want to admit:

You’re not fully all in.

You ARE working hard, but there are still parts of you you’re holding back.

In this episode, I walk you through what “going all in” actually means

We talk about:

  •  what it really looks like to hold yourself back (and why you do it)
  •  why the thing you’re most afraid to do is usually the direction you need to go
  •  how your “shadow” might actually be your untapped creative potential
  •  the impact of conditioning (school, society, structure) on creative expression
  •  why so many people feel like they’re meant for more but never act on it

If you’ve ever felt like you’re sitting on something bigger (an idea, a creative gift, a different path) but haven’t fully stepped into it yet, this episode is for you.

Here we talk subconscious rewiring, nervous system safety, identity shifting, and manifestation in a way that expands your life from the inside out. So let's unlock your next level. Okay, welcome back to the podcast. If you are new here, welcome. And if you're returning, welcome, welcome. We've had quite a few new listeners drop in. So if you are enjoying the podcast, I'm just gonna give you a little reminder to rate and leave a review because it really helps me get the podcast out to more people. And if you have been around here from the beginning, thank you. It means so much that you come back every week and listen. It's giving me so much motivation to continue sharing this information with you so you can create the best life for yourself. So, that being said, let's get into the episode today. I want to ask you something and I want you to be so honest and just let the first thing that comes to the surface be your answer. And that question is if you look at your life right now, are you actually all in on the thing that you're working towards? Okay. For some of you it's gonna be yes, some of you it's gonna be no, some of you it's gonna be like, I'm not really sure, and that's okay. But are you all in or do you feel like you're still holding something back? And I think some people listening are gonna think when I say that, it means like, are you doing all the things? You know? And I know a lot of you have kids, other jobs, responsibilities. Like we all have stuff in our life, and when I say that, I don't mean, oh, you're not doing enough to go all in on your dream. Because I think a lot of people think it means working harder, but it actually means doing the scary stuff, like saying the thing that you're scared to say, or showing up the way that you know you need to, but you're just not quite maybe there yet, or choosing a path that feels true and not necessarily safe or guaranteed. I think, especially for high achievers, do we can be kind of intent on picking the thing that we're definitely going to be able to do for sure. And that leaves so much on the table that we could be working towards if that other thing is actually what we want. So that's what we're gonna talk about today. I personally have felt like there are definitely places that I have not been all in. And this month for me is all about changing that. It's all about having the audacity to go for the thing that I want and having the audacity and the certainty to show up in the way that I need to, that I want to, that is authentic to me, saying things more directly, being more visible, taking up more space, which I recently realized was not only, you know, past conditioning for why I wasn't taking up as much space, but I think too, like my training as a therapist was so immersive in the time that I was learning, you know, going to grad school, getting my hours, doing all the things. And, you know, it's hard to not let that bleed into other areas of your life. And for being a therapist, you really compartmentalize yourself. Like there's the client and then there's you, and you're kind of like the the reflection or the, you know, pointing out or letting letting the client kind of work through patterns using you as that mirror. And so a lot of it is compartmentalizing yourself and not being authentic, not being in in that way. I mean, I'm not saying it's not authentic, it's very authentic in a specific way, but it's not like I'm taking up space in in the way that I'm trying to now, in this new different role where I'm showing up online, where I am helping people realize they have another path that they're suppressing. And so that shift has been very apparent to me in this last month. So this month for me is all about being more direct, being more bold, being more visible, doing the things that I know I need to do in order to be the version of myself that I want to be and show up as. And for me, this thing that, you know, I've stayed small or kind of stayed away from is the visibility. And every time I think I've stepped into it, I realize there's more places that I need to step further into it. And so for me, that is visibility, right? I think for a lot of the people that listen to this podcast, it might be visibility in some way. Being comfortable and feeling safe being seen in the talent or the idea or creation that you have to share in this world, that can be a really scary thing to do, especially when a lot of the times you've been conditioned to hold back or to fit into certain structures, school or society or whatever it is. So stepping into that can feel really unsafe, especially to the subconscious who has seen kind of what has happened if you have stepped out. I want you to kind of think about for a second what is the thing that you're most scared of? What is the thing that you're most scared to do? What is the thing that is keeping you from showing up or going all in or pursuing the thing? And the reason I ask this is usually that's the exact direction that you need to go in in order to unlock your next level, in order to become more audacious and have that audacity to show up in that way. And when I say like having audacity, I don't mean just like being bold or like showing up for the sake of it. I just mean no longer filtering yourself, like showing up as the true version of you and the true version of what you want to say or what you want to be known for in this world. That is what I mean when I say audacity. Think about where are you still holding back? What are you not saying? And what would you do if you weren't trying to protect yourself? Because that's really what it is. It's self-protection, and we can thank our brain for that, right? Like our brain is just trying to keep us safe, but it's not actually helpful in the way that our brain thinks it is. So that is why I'm such a big advocate for visualizing your future life, your future self, what they're doing, because it helps normalize it to your subconscious so it's not so scary and you have less less resistance stepping into it. I want to talk about this too from just another perspective, because I think when I say the thing that you're scared of can be like the thing that you need to move towards, it's kind of like, okay, yeah, like that sounds great and poetic and whatever. But you can see this in many different disciplines and ways of understanding psychology. But I'm I'm thinking mostly of like Carl Jung and his idea of like the shadow, the shadow work. In Jungian psychology, the shadow is the part of yourself that you've rejected or hidden or learned was unacceptable. So, in a lot of people, these parts within the shadow are things like anger or you know, sensitivity, sexuality, like those kinds of things that maybe are less accepted in society entail a lot. What it also can include a lot of times is things like creativity, confidence, power, like even using your voice. These things are things that maybe you've learned throughout your early life that that were not acceptable. And this can happen in not a dramatic way, but like even throughout school. You had to do things a certain way, you had to learn a certain way. If you didn't, you know, that was not celebrated, right? So if you had neurodivergency or learning disabilities or anything like that, it wasn't seen as, oh wow, how interesting your work your brain works differently. What kind of gifts or talents are you here to express in this world? Like that's not how you were met in school. You were met in school with, oh, you can't read the way that we're teaching you how to do it. Like this is bad and wrong, and you're not as smart as everybody else. And in reality, that's just not the case, but we've been conditioned that that is the case. So the goal of growth, if we're talking about Jungian psychology, is not to become perfect, but it is to become whole. It's to integrate those pieces of ourselves, the shadow pieces that we've rejected or avoided for a long time. And what we don't always realize is that a lot of those parts that we're rejecting or avoiding are the exact path to self-actualization or expressing that gift or creativity that we were literally built to create. And for me, I think visibility has been such a recurring theme that I've struggled with my entire life. And the more I step into that, the more bold I become, the easier it gets for me to get in touch with that creativity and that voice and the translation abilities that I have and the communication abilities that I have that maybe didn't appear super typical as I was growing up. This is just something to think about and thinking about shadow in a different way, of it's not your darkness necessarily, but it could be your buried potential. Like what things have you shut off within yourself? And I think if anything that I'm saying right now is resonating with you, there is something, right? If you listen to this podcast, if you resonate with my message, there is something there that you are supposed to do in this world. And especially if you're somebody who sees a different life, like you look around you and you're like, I could never work at Costco for the rest of my life or be a barista or hold that corporate job because that just feels like, why am I even here if that's what I'm gonna do every day of my life? Then there is something that maybe you're avoiding or not uncovering. And I just really urge you, not only for yourself, but for all of us. Like, I think there's so many, I think I was talking about this on TikTok recently. I think there's so many creative gifts and talents that we're never going to be able to see in this world because people are shut off from that part of themselves. And it like honestly hurts my heart that there are people out there who possess such creative genius that will never manifest it into this world and will never get to see it because of how they've been conditioned in school and in society. So if you do listen to this podcast and you do feel that longing or that tug that there is something more for you, I urge you to really listen to yourself, do the things that I talk about on here, have a morning routine, do your meditation, because meditation is such a great way to quiet yourself and get in touch with that part of you and really just start focusing on what lights you up because for creatives, it's that spark, it's that following that trail is gonna lead you to that future version of you who is living out your purpose. I feel like I just went on such a tangent, but that is what I would encourage you to do. You know, it's funny because talking about different ways of understanding parts of ourselves and looking at different psychological disciplines, it just makes me so grateful that I did go through the training that I went through to become a therapist, even though I just really feel like that's not my path at this point. But it really does help me understand how we think, why we think, and helping people self-actualize in this way or pick up on the signs where maybe they're not stepping into their full purpose or rejecting parts of themselves that really are the creative portal to helping them manifest what they came here to manifest. It's just another piece of proof that nothing is happening to me. I didn't waste that time. I think that is such a huge part of my story, and I think going through all of that time and schooling and energy that it took to get to that point was just something that happened for me, and it's just part of my path. So ask these questions, see where you need to get more bold. And I think this is a process too, because obviously your nervous system and your body need to feel safe with showing up more, being bolder. Your brain and body aren't going to let you if you don't feel safe first. So that's why I'm such an advocate for nervous system regulation and really removing those blocks so you can move through where you're supposed to move through. And in terms of manifesting, like you're not going to manifest your creative life by thinking or circling like what you might want to do. It only happens when you can actually express the version of you that you want to be. You have to be able to be fully embodied and express it fully and be the version of you who can express the gift or talent or business or whatever it is, and in order to do that, you have to go through the process of becoming, and that process is uncomfortable. There's no way around it. It is an uncomfortable process, but I really believe that what is more uncomfortable is going through life, doing the same things on autopilot, thinking that you're meant for more, and not being able to get there and never getting to that point. That to me sounds so much more uncomfortable than going through temporary uncomfortability to express something that was always innately yours to express. So I don't know, I feel like this episode's been very theoretical, but I hope that what you take from this episode is the permission to be more bold, be more audacious, be more fully expressed, do the things that you need to do to rewire those subconscious beliefs that you have about yourself and the world and what you're capable of. And I will just say, because of everything that I have gone through this month with this, these aha moments and kind of where I'm going, I have decided that I'm going to be reopening the rewire sessions, which it feels really exciting. And this is a 90-minute session where we look at what is your ideal, what is your dream life, and go through exercises to rewire the subconscious beliefs that have kept you from manifesting your talent gift or going after that thing. So I will leave the link in the show notes for those sessions if you're interested. But really, I hope that you take this as your permission to go all in and not put this off another day, start today, because literally you can change your life so quickly when you decide to actually go all in and when you decide to not just think about doing something or circle around doing it one day or next week, but really committing to yourself, like that can be a timeline switch just from that decision that you're making. At the end of the day, just remember that you're not stuck. You just haven't fully expressed your gift or talent or business or whatever it is that you're here to do. The more internal work that you do, the closer you're going to get to that piece. So I will leave you with that today. I hope you all have a great week and I hope that you choose to be super bold this month.
