Women Who Are Autistic podcast is introducing a new series designed for those feeling persistently tired. Named 'Autism Careless Era,' the series focuses on letting go of what steals joy, choosing rest over burnout, and embracing ease despite others' opinions. It aims not at self-improvement but at finding contentment.
Hello everyone! This is Annelise from the Women Who Are Autistic podcast, and I am starting this year off with a new series. This is gonna be a series for anyone who is tired in a way rest hasn't fixed. I'm calling this my autism careless era. Not because I don't care, but because I've been caring about the wrong things for way too long. This series isn't about fixing yourself, optimizing your life or becoming a better version of who you already are. It's about letting go of what steals your joy. About resting before burnout, it's about choosing ease, even when it doesn't make sense to other people. Some episodes will be quiet, some will be messy, but all of them will be honest. You don't have to listen to them in order. You don't have to do anything after. You don't have to explain yourself to belong here. If you're ready to care less about what drains you and care more about what keeps you alive, this space is for you. I invite you to come and join the conversation. Grab your comfy sensory friendly drink and listen.
