The Healer hasn’t lost His touch - Luke 8:40-48 Outline - Preached 5/31 Sunday PM service SSBC Palatka Florida
1. The Payment for healing.
2. The Perfect healing.
3. The Prophecy of healing.
It's because I can't do what I'm about to do. I think I say that just about every time I mount this pulpit because it's the truth. Because I sat behind this very pulpit four years ago when I was lost, standing right here, acting like I was doing the very thing that I'm doing tonight, and said, I'll never do that. Walked right down off this platform and went and sat back there. And guess what? God has a sense of humor. Here I am tonight, doing the thing I said that I was not going to do. But uh, I'll be honest with you, I've been uh wrestling all day with what I was supposed to preach tonight and what the Lord would have me to preach. I came in this morning thinking I knew what I was gonna preach. And as we began to share and talk about all the things and all the needs in the church this morning and all the prayer requests, I was sitting over here on the pew, and the Lord put this scripture back on my heart in Luke chapter number eight, is where we'll be tonight. The book of Luke, chapter number eight. And I preached this message a few weeks, maybe months ago, in the youth room, and I tend to not like to preach things over again a second time. But when God tells me to do it, I can't help but do it. Because if I don't do it, the message is gonna be a whirlwind of a train wreck, and it's gonna be me preaching. And so I'm gonna preach what the Lord has put on my heart tonight. Try to follow his leading this evening. The Bible says in Luke chapter number eight, verse number 40 is where we'll begin reading. The Bible says, and it came to pass that when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him, for they were all waiting for him. And behold, there came a man named Jarius, and he was a ruler of the synagogue, and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house. For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went, the people thronged him. Here's our text, and a woman with having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, came behind him, talking about Jesus, and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied Peter, and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude thronged thee and pressed thee, and sayest, Thou who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me, for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling and falling down before him, and she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort. Thy faith hath made thee whole. Go in peace. Let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, we're sure thankful for this day. I'm thankful the opportunity to stand behind this sacred desk this evening. God, tonight I pray that you'd hide me behind the cross. Lord, I pray that you'd rid me of myself. God, empty everything that I have out of me tonight. God, and fill me up with your spirit. God, I pray tonight that you'd preach me with power, conviction, and compassion for sinners. If there'd be one under the sound of my voice tonight, watching on live stream, wherever it may be tonight, that would be lost. God, I pray that you'd draw them unto yourself and save them before it's everlasting too late. God, if there's somebody here that needs healing, like Jarius' daughter, God, or this woman with an issue of blood, God, I pray tonight that you'd touch them in a mighty and magnificent way. God, that you've never touched them before. God, as we preach tonight, I pray that you'd use me in a way that you never have before. Use me as a vessel and a mouthpiece. God, I need you tonight. I can't do this on my own. God, I'll be sure to give you all the praise, the honor, and the glory, for it's in your Son's name we pray. Amen. You can be seated. Tonight we see this man by the name of Jarius. He's got this daughter who is 12 years old. I'm gonna be very brief tonight, even though I said I've got two messages that I wanted to preach, and I'm not gonna come by them, or maybe I will, but we'll be quick and it'll be all right. Tonight there's this man by the name of Jarius, and he's got this 12-year-old daughter who the Bible says is laying in bed, dying. This girl's about to die, might be already dead. We don't really know at this point, but she is about to be dead. And Jarius runs to the man who he knows he can get to go heal her, named Jesus, and says, Can you please come heal my daughter? And of course, what does Jesus say? Absolutely, Jarius, we're on the way. He turns around and goes out, and there's this crowd of people that begin to surround him. And in this crowd, there's this woman, what the Bible says has an issue of blood. This issue of blood, we see it all the way back in Leviticus chapter number 15, verse number 19. The Bible says, And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days, and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. This issue of blood, it was an issue of hemorrhaging and great bleeding that was very hard to stop. And oftentimes they would bleed to the point to where they would pass out and fall out, and doctors would have to come, and it would begin to where they were literally their life was on the line every single time that this bleeding would start and they couldn't get it to stop. I mean, it was in an instant it would start and then they couldn't get it to stop. And she had gone to all these different physicians. We'll see that here in just a minute. But we see that this issue it caused isolation. Anybody ever been isolated before? Remember COVID? Anyone ever had COVID? Had it a few times. When you have it, they isolated you. They put you in a room and they you got locked in there. And I remember I had it one time and my parents didn't want to get it, and they were afraid it was going to go through the air vents, so they made me sit in my room. As a teenager, I didn't mind that. It wasn't that bad. I didn't really care. But as an adult now, it'd be pretty hard for me to go without talking to my wife. It'd be pretty hard for me to go without talking to my pastor and my friends that are in this room. It'd be pretty hard to be completely isolated. Keep in mind, they didn't have Facebook and Instagram and TikTok and Snapchat and Lemon 8. The kids have told me about that now. I don't know what that is, but lemon eight, they didn't have all that. They didn't have iPhones and text messages, they didn't even have minutes back then. I mean, they didn't have nothing. They didn't have no way of communication. They didn't have the yellow pages back then either. The teens are too young. We found that out. The teens don't even know what that is. And I do. That makes me feel I'm just kidding. But she had this issue of blood that caused her to be completely isolated, and it says that for seven days she was considered unclean. But this woman had this issue of blood for twelve years. So for twelve years, this woman with this issue of blood was considered unclean, and no one could be around her. It reminds me of the people in the Bible that had leprosy, where they were considered unclean and they'd be cast out of the cities, and they would be put off on their own, and they would be completely isolated from mankind because nobody wanted to get near them. In this time of isolation in this woman's life, she had nowhere else to turn. And she's seen this man named Jesus who's done all these many miracles before, who she's heard about maybe from afar, who maybe she's seen from the top of a hillside somewhere do some miracle or work some wondrous thing. And she says, and here's the thought tonight I see a healer who hasn't lost his touch. This issue it lasted 12 years. We see that, but firstly tonight, in Luke chapter number 8, verse number 40, I want to begin reading in verse number 42. The Bible says in verse number 42, for he had only one daughter, about 12 years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went, the people thronged him. And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which has spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, came behind him and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stanched. This morning, or this evening, I'm sorry, as we see the healer that hadn't lost his touch, we see number one that we see that there was a payment for healing. A payment for healing. We notice in verse number 42 that this woman, or verse number 43, I'm sorry, she had spent all her living upon physicians. But we notice a little earlier in verse number 42, there was a complete crowd that surrounded this man by the name of Jesus. As he's gone, he's leaving Jarius' daughter, and he goes to head to Jarius' house, and as he begins to walk, and the Bible says that the crowd thronged him. That word thronged, it means to suffocate, is what the Greek says in that word, is what the translation is there. It means to suffocate. And when it's talking about suffocation, it means that the people were so much gathered around him that Jesus didn't have any room to do anything much other than walk like this. I mean, it wasn't, he wasn't taking big old long steps. I mean, there's people all around him. Doesn't say how big these people were, but I see Jesus is walking just like this, trying to just walk to Jerry's house. Like E.T. Y'all remember that movie? E.T. phone home? I mean, he's walking just like that. Miss Kim is like, no, Max, stop doing that. Jesus is walking to Jerusal's house. And this crowd has thronged him, and this crowd has suffocated him. And this woman, we see that she has spent all of her living trying to get this issue of blood healed. That when she when it says she spent all her living, it literally means she spent all her living. Everything that she had, I don't know if she had a house. They didn't have cars back then. Maybe she had a donkey, maybe she had some chickens, I don't know. She had sold everything and tried to go and get this issue of blood to be healed by somebody. Anybody have ever known anybody that had cancer? Basically, everybody in this room. Nobody can figure out sorry. Miss Sheila. I'm just I I looked at Miss Sheila right when that happened. Miss Sheila was going through some things and nobody could figure out what was wrong with her. Then finally, I believe she's gotten some relief recently. Is that right? As soon as I thought about that, I looked at Miss Sheila. God does that. You know, there's times in our lives when we go around and we run to everybody that can try to do something. We run to every doctor in town, we run to Jacksonville and Gainesville, and we go to Shands, and we go to UF Flagler, and we go to the children's hospitals and all over God's green earth, and we go to everybody else but Jesus. Tonight there's somebody in here, I don't know who you are, the Lord put this thought on my heart. I was coming in here preaching something completely different. There is somebody in here who needs healing tonight, and I'm here to tell you that stop spending everything you've got. Stop going to all the different doctors and just run to Jesus because he's the healer that hasn't lost his touch tonight. You know, she had spent everything that she had. I've heard stories upon stories. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and Memphis, Tennessee is known for a lot of bad things, but we got one or two good things there too. One of the good things of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Very great cancer research hospital for children. They don't charge the families a dime. My mom worked there for many, many years. And I was able to go in there as a young boy, and she would take me to work with her, and I'd go and I'd go eat in the cafeteria, and I'd go see the many things that all those different kids and everything that they were going through, and it made me really thankful that I wasn't in the position they were in, preacher. It made me really thankful for my health at a very young age, but I saw as these people were going and they were spending everything that they had, and they'd spent everything they had. And then finally they get to St. Jude.
unknownSt.
SPEAKER_00Jude says, You don't owe us a dime. You don't owe us anything. We'll put you up in the target house. You can live here rent-free. Yeah, you're not at your jobs, but you get to be here with your babies. You're not having to pay anything, and we can try to figure out what's going on. You know what Jesus does is he didn't charge this lady a dime. She had spent everything trying to go to every physician in the land, trying to, I'm sure, go into sorcerers and magicians as they had back then. I'm sure going everywhere and anywhere she could think of that might be able to just ease this issue of blood. But yet she could never find anybody. But then we see that there's a touch of healing. The Bible says in verse number 44 that she came behind him, and this is Jesus, and touched the border. Remember that word for the very end. Touched the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stanched. Firstly, we see that there's a payment of healing, but secondly, we see that there's a perfectness of healing. Notice how it says immediately her issue of blood stanched. I'm probably gonna say it stanched, stanched all over the place. Y'all gonna get the gist. It's one of those two words, okay? But that word means the immediate cessation. Y'all know I can't speak English, or halting of the woman's 12-year flow of blood. It implies a total stop to the bleeding, signifying an instantaneous, miraculous, and complete healing. Anyone ever had surgery in here? I've had hip surgery at a real young age. When you have surgery, you gotta recover a little bit, don't you, preacher? I think so. I've never had surgery. Pastor never had surgery. Bad example. But when you have surgery, anybody ever had a knee replacement? Somebody get an amen. I'm probably gonna be there one day. There's a little bit of recovery in that. I'm sure that if this lady would have been in modern day, there were, they probably would have been able to heal this issue of blood somehow. They would have been able to fix it. But I'm sure she would have been laid up in a bed for many, many weeks trying to recover from this. Right, right. It wouldn't have been a thing where she just kind of walked in and walked out. You know how they say when people get in bad wrecks, they walked off scot-free. I mean, they walked out of the accident, they walked away, and everything was fine. I don't think it would be like that. But Jesus, as she reached out and she touched the border of this man by the name of Jesus' garment, it says that immediately the issue of blood stanched. I mean, it was an instantaneous healing. It was a perfect healing. There was, well, what did we say? There was the payment of healing, but then there's the perfectness of healing. We noticed that Jesus, I mean, it was an instant healing, it was an instant thing. There was no waiting around, there was no recovery period, there was no time where she had to wait, where Jesus said, Hey, you just touched me, give it a 30-day layaway, and then you'll be healed on day 31. No, he didn't say that. He said, As soon as that man and woman touched my garment, I felt virtue leave my body, and she was immediately healed. You know, when the Bible talks about immediately, it doesn't mean one or two minutes from then or one or two seconds from then. No, when the Bible says immediately, it means immediately. Tonight I'm thankful for the perfectness of his healing. But then I noticed that Christ didn't ask her for anything. He didn't say, hey, you owe me a chicken egg or two. You owe me one or two shekels of silver. He didn't say that. Immediately, that issue of blood stanched. You know, when Christ saved our soul, that's what happened to our soul. You know, when Christ shed his blood on Calvary for me and for you, it wasn't something that he desired was going to be a salvation process once we get saved. When I bowed my head and heart and I got saved, it was an instantaneous transaction between God and the devil. God reached higher than I could lower than I could reach up, and he wrote my name in the Lamb's book of life, and that's exactly what happened to you tonight. Tonight, if you're saved, I love what Pastor said a little bit ago. You cannot lose your salvation.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_00Talked about when God has us in his hand, no man can pluck us out of our father's hand. You know, tonight there's a perfectness in our salvation, and that's that Christ was perfect, walks this earth without one single sin, not a little lie, not a little fib. I believe he didn't even throw a tantrum as a baby. And listen, I got a toddler. She throws a lot of tantrums, and I believe he didn't throw one of them. My baby will look at me and tell me, I said, You pooping? No. Sitting there pooping. Lying at a young age. I'm just being honest. Were you trying to get in the cabinet? No. Naked on the cabinet.
unknownCute little sinner.
SPEAKER_00Cute little sinner, right? That's what I'm talking about. But Jesus, he wasn't a cute little sinner. He was a cute little baby, but he wasn't a sinner. He was perfect. He was holy. He was spotless. He was sinless. And because of that, when he went to the cross of Calvary and shed every drop of blood that he had, that was the perfect payment and the perfect atonement for our sins. That when we would bow our head and heart at an altar, in a car, by a bedside, at a workshop, on a boat in the middle of the ocean, who cares where you bow? If you bow and you truly get saved, it was a perfect, instantaneous transaction between him and the devil, and your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Never to be blot out, never to be removed. I think I've sinned more after I got saved than before I got saved. Sometimes it feels like that. You know why? It's because we're conscious of what we're doing. Right. Before we get saved, thank you, Lord. Before we get saved, we ain't even conscious that we're sinners. I mean, we know don't go kill somebody, Brother Kent. We know don't steal. Like, we know that. But I'm talking about the little stuff that we don't think about. I mean, we're not consciously, we're not even thinking about that's wrong. We probably shouldn't do that. I probably shouldn't cuss. I probably shouldn't gossip. I probably shouldn't talk bad about people. I probably shouldn't do that. Probably shouldn't listen to rap music. Probably shouldn't watch that on TV. We don't think about that when we're lost. But then we get saved. That instantaneous transaction between God and the devil takes place. Our soul immediately is taken, and our name is written in the Lamb's book of life, and everything begins to change in our life. And at that perfect moment, when Christ writes our name in the Lamb's book of life, the Holy Spirit of God comes and indwells inside of us and gives us the opportunity and the ability to live holy, sanctified, and set apart lives. Why? Because of the perfectness of his healing. You know what? I am going to combine two messages. Y'all go to 2 Corinthians chapter 6 with me. Real fast. I ain't going to be much longer. Y'all just go with me. 2 Corinthians chapter number 6. Verse number 14, the Bible says, be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. There's a semicolon there. I'm going to be real fast in this because the Lord just put it on my heart again to just just go here. When the Holy Spirit of God comes and indwells in our life, the perfectness that Christ does when he heals our soul and heals our body is he gives us the Holy Spirit so that we can live for him and be holy and set apart from the world and its ways. When it says, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, that is not a suggestion, that is an expectation. He then says, For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness, there's a question mark there. Then he says, and what communion hath light with darkness, and there's a question mark there, and what accord concord hath Christ with Belial and there's a question mark there? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? Then he says in verse number 16, and what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God. As God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you, and will be a father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. You know, in that perfectness of healing for that lady, her issue of blood completely stanched. For us, our issue of sin completely stanched. You know, when our name was written in the Lamb's book of life and our sins, we still have, we we still sin. Anybody perfect after they've gotten saved? I didn't think so. And if you say you do, the Bible says that it makes you, if you say you have no sin, it makes him a liar, and the truth is not in him. The book of 1 John tells us that, so you're a sinner anyways, because you're a liar. So praise God, we're all sinners. Let's get that out of the way real fast. But tonight when we talk about being not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, he goes down and he lifts all these different things. What fellowship hath light with darkness, what fellowship with righteousness with unrighteousness. And you know, Pastor, I was thinking about this morning how I was going to have Brother Greg turn the lights off when I was talking about this part. I was preaching a different message, but I'm not preaching that message no more, but I kind of am. So y'all get the gist here in a minute. And as soon as I was thinking that, the power went out and the lights went off. I said, God, why couldn't that happen while I was preaching that message? Because I wasn't preaching that message. Praise the Lord. When the Holy Spirit of God, He comes to live inside of us and He tells us what we're supposed to do and what we're not supposed to do. He makes it possible for us to live a holy, set apart, sanctified life. You know what's the matter with some people is they're trying to live a holy, set apart, sanctified life and live a Christian life, but they're not even a Christian, they're not even saved to begin with. They wonder why they keep falling and they keep stumbling over and over and over and over, and it feels like they can never not get away from this one thing. Why? Because they probably aren't even saved. Tonight, how many church members could we think of that have gotten saved over the years? That we've had on our church roll for many, many, many, many, many years. Me and Pastor and Miss Linda and Miss Angie were talking about this a few weeks ago. How often does somebody get saved? And we're like, wow, I thought they were saved. I would have never imagined they weren't saved. Because salvation's not based off what we see, it's based off what he sees, and he sees the heart. Tonight I don't know, I don't know who needs to hear it. I'm combining two messages. I don't know what's going on. I'm just following the Lord. So y'all just, the poor souls that gotta listen. Tonight I believe with all my heart that there's somebody in here that's lost. I wouldn't say it if I didn't believe it. I mean, there's 150, 200 people in here, maybe 150. My timetables. 150, maybe. I'd be willing to say that there's somebody in here that's lost. Because the Holy Spirit of God's telling me there's somebody in here that's lost. I don't care if you've been baptized so many times the bullfrogs know your name. I don't care if you've been baptized so many times in that pool that everybody in here knows your name. I don't care if you were born on the church pew. I don't care if you've been here longer than. I've been alive. God doesn't care about it either. All he cares about is if you've trusted in his son for full and complete salvation. Tonight there's a perfectness to his healing and his salvation. He makes us able to live that holy and set-apart sanctified life. But we've got to do it. That first step, I love what Brother Jeremy said. He said the first step is salvation. And so many people miss that first step. Tonight, if you're not saved, you've got to get the first step before you can get to step number two. He didn't say, Well, this issue of blood is something I've never seen before. He didn't say this issue of blood is something I've never had to deal with before. He didn't say, Well, this cancer or this dementia or whatever. We go down the line and we say this physical ailment, my knee hurting, my back hurting, my hips hurting, whatever the case may be. He didn't say, Well, son, daughter, this is something I've never seen before. No, he said, I just felt, I just felt virtually my body. Before Christ even turned around and figured out he knew who it was, keep that in mind. But before he turned around and made the connection and said, Hey, this is me, this is you, what just happened? She was already healed. I mean, we got this throng of people around. I mean, it could have been 30 seconds to a minute before he even figured out like this is the girl, this is him, this is the girl. All she knew was, I just gotta get to him, I just gotta touch him. That's where point number three comes in. Tonight we see that there's a payment of healing, but secondly, we see that there's a perfectness of healing. But thirdly, go back with me to the Old Testament, to the book of Malachi. Book of Malachi, chapter number four. A few months ago when I wrote this message, the Lord really showed me this. As I was reading, I kind of paused and stopped and took a breath and was like, glory, hallelujah, that's good. Verse number two in chapter number four of Malachi, the Bible says, But unto you that fear my name shall the Son of righteousness arise with healing in his wings, and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stone. Tonight, firstly, we see that there's a payment of healing. Secondly, there's a perfectness to the healing. But thirdly, tonight there's a prophecy of healing. And this book of Malachi is a prophetic book. Malachi is writing this down and speaking this and preaching this before Christ the Messiah has come. He has no clue what's coming. He just knows what he's being told to say through prophecy. Keep this in mind. Prophecy is over. So if someone tells you I've received a word from the Lord, I'm a prophet, I've got a prophetic word, run. With a capital R-U-N and a couple exclamation points, run. This is prophecy. Prophecy's done for now. But verse number two, it says, But unto you that fear my name shall the Son of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings. That son of righteousness is the Lord Jesus Christ. And when it says that there's healing in his wings, that word breaks down to this. The wing is a winged extremity edge, winged border or corner of a shirt or top garment. Keep in mind in the book of Luke, they had access to the Old Testament. This lady, somehow or another, has gotten a hold of the book of Malachi, Brother Jeremy. She got a hold of it. Whether she heard somebody preaching it, whether she read it for herself, whether she was in jail and the verses were getting slipped under the door, whatever the case may be, somehow she understood that there was a son of righteousness coming with healing in his wing. And tonight she heard that that man by the name of Jesus was walking down in this big old throng of people. I'm talking 150, 200, maybe thousands of people were walking around. She said, I have got to get to him. And nobody's stopping me. I don't care if I have to tackle people, run people over, I will get to that man. And she runs up to that man. Preacher, I'm gonna touch your leg, just so you know. Just giving him a warning. She runs up to by the man of that man by the man of that name Jesus, and she grabs the wing. That wasn't your leg, that was your suit coat, but whatever. Same thing. Grabs the wing of his garment. You see, back in that time, they wore robes. And these robes, they had these things off the edge called wings. Doesn't mean that he's coming with healing in his wings, or he's like an eagle, and he's like blowing healing all over the place. That's not what Jesus was doing. But he had this robe on, and it had a wing off the end. And that lady had read the book of Malachi and read this part where it said that there was a son of righteousness that was coming with healing in his wings, and she's seen in this isolation, she's seen in this time where she's been by herself, that there's some way I've got to get to this man because he's healed everybody else. It's my turn now. I'm talking, she read this and trusted this enough to say, I don't care who stops me, I don't care if I get tripped, I don't care if I fall in the dirt, I don't care if I get laughed at, I don't care if I get spit on, I've got this issue of blood, I'm considered unclean, but I'm running to the man that can make me clean. Ran up to him, grabbed that border, and guess what? Issue of blood stanched. That hurt my hip. I'm getting a little old, y'all. Immediately. That issue of blood stanched. Wasn't a 30-second thing. It wasn't something that she had to wait on a couple minutes. Immediately. That issue of blood stanched. Tonight, let me ask you this question. Lisa, can you somebody jump on the piano? Lisa getting on the piano. She's giving the baby away. Let me ask you this question. We've got the whole 66 books of the Bible. Genesis chapter number 1, verse number 1. In the beginning, all the way to Amen and Revelation chapter number 22, verse number 19. We've got it all. I'd like to say that we've read a good portion of this Bible tonight. If you haven't ever read your Bible, you've been here enough to understand what the Word of God says because we have a pastor who faithfully preaches the Word of God. Let me get an Amen. Tonight, maybe it's your first time. You've heard a big old tall guy get up here and preach the Word of God for a couple minutes, and Brother Jeremy proclaimed the gospel through the Word of God. You've heard enough to know this. There's a lot of things in this book that God tells us we can trust him in that we don't trust him in. Tonight, let me tell you this, church, we serve a healer that has not lost his touch. And I asked Elise to sing this song earlier when I figured out what I was preaching. There's a song titled The Healer Hasn't Lost His Touch. Tonight, the Word of God says that all things work together for good to those that love God and those who are thee called according to his purpose. Do you trust that things are going to work together for your good? Do you trust that God knows what he's doing? Do you trust that from the shepherd's point of view, things might look a little different in the valley? Do you trust that if you seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, all these things shall be added unto you? Do you trust that tonight? This woman had read the book of Malachi, chapter number four, verse number two, and she understood that there was a son of righteousness that was coming with healing in his wings. She knew that there was a prophetic, a prophecy that had taken place of this healer that had not lost his touch, and she knew if I get to him, this issue of blood, it's gonna be gone and over with. Tonight do you believe that if he takes care of the lilies and the sparrows, that he'll take care of you?
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_00Tonight do you believe that he can fix your marriage? Tonight do you believe that really we can stand fast and hold our peace at the edge of the Red Sea? When he stood, when Moses stood there, he said, Stand fast, hold your peace. I shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace upstairs. Do we truly believe that God's gonna fight for us? Do we truly believe that vengeance is mine, saith the Lord? Do we truly believe that tonight, church? Tonight there's a son of righteousness that's already come, he's already shed his blood, he's died, he's risen again, he's done everything for us tonight, church, and he's come with healing in his wings. Tonight, his wing might be the altar. I'll tell you this: if you see some fake, phony person saying, Hey, come to me and I'll heal you, run with a capital R U N exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point. When we take this anointing oil, this is not what heals you. If you come down here and sit in a chair and Pastor takes this anointing oil and he anoints the top of your head, and we begin to get around you and pray for you, it's not this oil that heals you. This oil is a representation of God. It's not even the prayers that heal you, Pastor. It's the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, it's the Son of righteousness that's come with healing in his wings. That reaches down and he touches some sorry sinner and he says, Son, man, I got you. It's gonna be okay. Tonight, with heads bowed and eyes closed, I don't know what you're dealing with, I don't know what you're going through. But tonight I do know this. The Lord put this thought upon my heart for a reason, and somebody needed it. Tonight, maybe you're lost. The Son of Righteousness has come. He wants to save you. I'm talking, he wants you to pour yourself out to him so he can clean it all up and take you home to glory when you pass away one day. Tonight, if you'd say, Brother Max, I know 100%. If I died right now, I know I'm going to heaven. Can I just see your hand? I know 100%. Praise the Lord, praise God. Hands all across the building, praise the Lord. You can put your hands down. Tonight, if you'd say, Brother Max, I just don't know 100%. Brother Max, I'm not saying I'm not saved, but I just don't have that assurance, and I'd like to have that assurance tonight before I leave this place. Could you just look up at me just for a minute? Make sure I see your eyes. Young lady, do you need to be saved? You need to be saved. Would you come? Would you come right now? Can I get a female counselor, somebody with a Bible? Young lady coming on the far right? Got multiple women going. Anybody else? It's a Sunday night service. I got saved in a Sunday night service. Anyone else just say, Brother Max? I just don't know 100%. I just don't know. Could you just look up at me? Would there be another? Brother Max, I just don't know. Just don't know 100%. Brother Max, I just don't know. Anybody? These altars are full. You come if you need. Tonight, if you're born again, if you're saved, God asks that you pray for the young lady that's going back right now. Maybe tonight you have something like this issue of blood yourself. You need healing yourself. You need to come down to this altar. Get a hold of his wing. He can heal you.
