You're listening to the weekly word. The weekly word is the weekly message from God's Word. Brought to you from the archives of the Voice of Truth Center. Let's listen to today's message.

Evangelist Michele Love

Any challenges that come in life, anything that hits us, is testing our faith and our understanding of who God is and what we need to do. So let's pray now that God keeps our connection because I seem to have found a spot on the beach, and we're going to be able to get this word out that God has given today. It's a great word and it's about validation. So let's uh let's go to the Lord in prayer. Thank you, Father God, for your grace and your mercy and your favor. Lord, I just pray the windows of heaven open up and we are able to get this message out, this word out of hope and faith and love. I pray, Father, that the connection stays so that the whole word can go out because it's always powerful. And Lord, empty me out, because it was a little bit of a challenge to get to this place this morning. So empty me out, Father God. All of me out, Lord, so that it's all of you and not of me in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father, for your mercy, your grace, and your favor this morning. And thank you for giving us ears to hear, a voice that only speaks your words, eyes to see. And send those, Lord, to hear your word this morning. Send those to hear what you have to say this morning, Lord. Holy Spirit, take over me. All of me, my mind, my body, my spirit. Let my words be your words, Lord. And thank you so much, Father God, for your grace and mercy and favor this morning to give your word and hold the phone and read the Bible. I'm so grateful, God, that you chose me this morning. And I pray that there are those around me this morning that hear your word. I pray, Lord, that you open all of our ears in Jesus' name. Good morning, everybody. Welcome to Sunday Church. I am hoping and praying the wind is not an issue where we are. I'm definitely looking around and it's beautiful. Behind me is the ocean, and it has truly been a blessing to breathe for a few minutes here. So I'm gonna do my best to hold the phone and read the word. But the Lord has been taking me on a journey and gave me the word validation yesterday. Hi guys. Hi, hi Steve. Hopefully the rest of our church will come on and it'll be a beautiful morning this morning. It always is a beautiful morning when Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. So this morning, um I was trying, I was starting to say he was showing me the word validation, and I was having a conversation yesterday with someone, and the word popped into my spirit, validation. Validation means acceptable, accepted, approved, official, confirming something is true, ratifying, recognition, you matter, your emotions matter. Explaining that validation can come from others. People want validation from others, and most importantly, the validation comes from God. So that's where we're gonna go on a journey this morning. God validating you, and your validation does not come from man, it comes from the Lord, and how important it is for the gospel of Jesus Christ and for you to understand who you are in Christ. So listen to this. We're gonna start with Isaiah 43, verses. Sorry, I got a little bit of wind here. Verses one and actually, we're just gonna boogie through Isaiah 43, starting with verse 1. But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and he who formed you, O Israel, fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. How how cool is that? That if that isn't validation right there, I don't know what is. You've got to remember. He formed you, he created you, he tells you, fear not, for I have redeemed you. All in the first sentence, the first verse. I have called you by your name. You are mine. That's validation right there. That's who you are, that's truth. That God created you, formed you, redeemed you, called you by your name. You are mine, is what he says. And he continues in verse 4. Since you were precious in my sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you. Therefore, I will give men for you and people for your life. That means protection. Who is the one he gave for our life? Jesus Christ. That's what he says when he says redeemed. So starting off in Isaiah 43, understanding where your validation comes from, who you are. If you are a believer, if Jesus Christ is your Savior, then you know who you are. You belong to God. He is yours. He formed you, he created you, he redeemed you. So understanding in Isaiah 43, verses 1 through 4, who you are in Christ, listen to me, y'all. This is really important. Don't listen to me, listen to the Holy Spirit. When you are alive in Christ, Christ made the way for you to be alive, dead to your old self, dead to sin, alive in Christ. That is being validated because you are redeemed. Okay? You have to understand the purpose and the truth behind redemption, the truth behind God creating you and forming you and loving you and telling you you have been honored and I have loved you. This is for somebody today who's really struggling with needing to know who they are and why they're here. Like, there's a lot of folks right now wondering what is truth? What is what is my my job here? What is my mission here? Why am I not getting it? Why am I feeling like there's nothing, there's nothing more. There's there's nothing for me. There's so many people feeling that way right now. And the Lord is telling you this morning, you've already been validated in Christ. That's pretty that's pretty profound. And it's truth. And that's what he's saying to us in Isaiah 43. So now I want to take you on a journey to Galatians one. Galatians one ten through twelve. Listen to this. Hold on, I got sand on my I got sand all over the Bible. Okay, so listen to this. Galatians 1, 10 through 12. It's talking about only one gospel. Only one God. Understanding that there's only one gospel, and it's the gospel of Jesus Christ. Yes, Satan's gonna use the word of God. He's gonna create his own gospel. But God's saying there's only one. So he says in 10 through 12, for do I now persuade men or God? This is Paul talking, but this is us two. Do I now persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. Wow. We are never here to please man. We are never sorry, I'm just looking at George. We are never here to please man. We never do all things unto man. We do all things unto God. And this is telling you right now, your validation does not come from man, it comes from God. So it says, For do I now persuade man or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still please men, I would not be a bond servant of Christ. You would not be in Christ, you would not be living, serving, breathing Jesus Christ. You would be living for humanity. We don't ever live for humanity when we are in Christ. We don't ever live for humanity. But listen to verse 11. Paul saying this, but I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. What we teach, what we speak, what we preach. The truth is all Jesus. We didn't do anything. We just believed, not just believed, we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the gospel and his life, his death, his burial, his resurrection, and his ascension and his coming back is the truth. That's the truth that we know and trust in. And every part of that is for your life right now. Every part of the gospel is your life right now. When people say to me, what do you live for? What do you do what you do for? And I say one word, two words, the gospel. The gospel of Jesus Christ. That's why I live. It's so profound to understand how much the gospel affects your life. You have to get this, guys. You have to get this truth. Because your validation does not come from anybody but God. And your validation comes when you believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. You are the one who validates me through Jesus Christ. Through the Son of God, you are validated. And that's the only way you're validated. And the scripture in Galatians is showing us that through the gospel, the only gospel, the one gospel, we are to understand that our lives are surrounded by truth. As we read in Isaiah 43, we're redeemed, we're created, we're called, we are loved, we are honored. God gave everything in his son Jesus Christ so that we could live that life, that redeemed, reconciled, whole life in Christ. Old things pass away. Your old life is not who you are. Your new life in Christ is what you live for and who you are. But people say, Who are you? Who are you? I'm God's servant, I'm God's son, I'm God's daughter, I live for the kingdom, I live to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I do not live in the world. I am not of the world. I am of the kingdom of God. I am in his family. Those are the responses. That's where your hope, your validation, and your faith lies. There and only there. So let's jump into Thessalonians. First Thessalonians. Can you guys go there with me for a minute? First of Thessalonians. I have rocks all over my Bible and saying, I'm sorry. First Thessalonians chapter five. It's a good read. It's called the day of the Lord. Let's breeze through it together. 1 Thessalonians chapter 5. But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. That's when Jesus is returning. That's what that scripture is about. It's the day of the Lord. The day the Lord is coming back. And it says, For when they say, peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them as labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape. This is those who don't believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is those who are questioning everything about God. Sorry, I have so much sand on my glasses. We're gonna get this word out. Yes, we are. You've got to wake up not looking at the news, not not seeing all these things that are not making sense to you, seeing all these things that you don't know are truth. You have to look at everything that's happening around you and get into the word of God and understand that the word of God is what is going to change everything. So let's continue in 1 Thessalonians 5. Gracious. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night, nor of darkness. We are sons and daughters of light, not ever the darkness. The darkness means you didn't come out of it, means you're still in it. The only true light, which is Jesus Christ, pulls you out of the darkness. You're not in the darkness. If you're living in the darkness and you are a Christian, you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, get out of there. That's not where you belong. Come back to God. That's where you belong. If you are a Christian, a true Christian, and you want to live your life according to the word, according to God's plan and God's purpose for your life, because we all have a call in our lives. All of us. It's just people don't want it. People choose the darkness. People choose to live without God. And and God knows where you are, God knows your heart. He knows exactly what's going on. So therefore, let us not sleep as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love. And as a helmet, the hope of salvation. That is our armor, y'all. That is our armor of God. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to or to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. That's why we're here. That's why He did what He did for us. To redeem us, for us to be saved, and walking in the light, and walking with Christ. It's it's it's not it's not a life that is easy, but it's a life that God chose for us. It's a life where we not only have eternity with God in heaven, but we have forgiveness for our sins, and we can walk into the light of God with hope and truth. And then this says the last verse. Jesus Christ who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Unity. He wants unity among His believers, among His children. He wants unity. Therefore, comfort each other and edify one another just as you also are doing. Well. And they have a purpose. And let them know that somebody cares about them. Well, I can only tell you that my journey through salvation in Jesus Christ, I still looked for that, for that validation from humanity. I don't anymore. Because humans, humans do not determine your future. God does. And if you believe that, that you are God's and He has a plan and a purpose for your life. If you believe that today, if you accept that Jesus Christ made the way for you to not only get to the Father, but for you to live eternally, go to heaven, be forgiven for your sins. If you believe that today, that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. That will literally change your perspective. Of life. Because when you place your faith and hope and love in Jesus Christ, when you place everything that is going on in your life right now, the trials, the sadness, the um challenges, the needs, when you place all of that into Jesus Christ, you will begin to see the power of God change the way you think, the way you see things, the things you hear, the things you do. When Jesus comes into your heart, when you receive him and you are saved by the grace of God, things begin to change. Things that used to matter to you don't matter to you anymore. God becomes everything. Your number one. Living the way Jesus lived on this earth, following him. Your old self begins to die. Your old self begins to fade away day by day because you start reading the word. And the greatest word of all we've read today is you are his. That is special. That is rejuvenating. That is right now, you understanding your validation comes from God. Because Jesus Christ redeemed you. So let's let's say the prayer of faith together as we journey through this morning. Thank you, Father God. Thank you, Father God, for your grace and your mercy and your favor this morning. Thank you. I know you're up there. I know you're shining down on all of us. I know you hear us, God. Lord, this morning we are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ for all to hear. And Lord, we want to say the amazing, powerful prayer of faith, receiving Jesus into our heart. So, Father God, I pray we all say it together. Dear Lord God, we need Jesus Christ. We need to follow Him through His life. Understand that His death, His dying to sin, is our dying to sin. We want to die to our sin. We want to be forgiven for all our sins, past, present, and future God. So right now, we we ask that Jesus Christ is our Savior. We receive Him as our Savior. Come into our heart. Come into our life. Mess us up, Jesus. Get all the old stuff we do, all the old habits out in the name of Jesus. We want to belong to God. We want to hear those words. You are mine, says the Father. We want to be redeemed, Lord. And then we want to share the redemption that you gave us by your grace today in salvation. We want to share it with others. Forgive us, Father, for all our sins. Make us whole. Reconcile us back to you, Father. And thank you. Thank you, Jesus, for being the ultimate sacrifice so we could live and be saved by the grace of God. Thank you that we are going to heaven. Thank you that we have a call in our life. We want that call, Father. So train us up, Lord. Train us up, God. To be your soldiers, your ambassadors for Jesus Christ. Show us your way, teach us your plans, and make us new creations in Jesus Christ. Thank you for saving us. I receive, we receive today, Lord God, your amazing gift of salvation. In Jesus' name. Amen. Wow. If you said that prayer with us, congratulations. You are his. You are his. Thank you, God. We have ears to hear today. Thank you, God, for your mercy, grace, and favor. Thank you, God, for this beautiful day you have given us. I see you all around in the ocean, Lord, in the sun, in the ocean. It is so beautiful. What a beautiful day. Embrace truth today. Embrace God today. And if you just got saved, congratulations and welcome to the family. We trust Him, period. We do not trust man. We trust God. What a glorious God we serve. Thank you for joining us today. We have so much more to share in this day, but thank you. And we will see you guys soon. We will be back in our service, regular service next Sunday. And we have a lot to share over the next 24 hours, so stay tuned. And God bless you and keep you. And you know what? The Lord's putting it on my heart to say the Our Father. So let's do it. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Lord. Thy will be done, Lord. In all of our lives, thy will be done on this earth as it is in heaven. Lord, you have given us this day and our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not, Lord, into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen. That was God. I love that, Father. Make it yours. Make it your prayer today. I hope hope carries you all day. Hope in Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
