In this episode, Prophet Onazi Ogah addresses a question that many people are asking today: Where is God?

In a world filled with suffering, darkness, and uncertainty, many people search for God in situations, circumstances, and worldly systems. But the Bible teaches that God is not found in darkness or in the changing conditions of this world.

Through powerful scriptural teaching, this episode explains:

• Why the world lies in darkness (1 John 5:19)
 • Why God cannot dwell in darkness (1 John 1:5)
 • Where the true presence of God is found
 • How peace is given through Jesus Christ (Luke 2:14)
 • Why eternal hope is found only in the kingdom of God

This message calls listeners to turn their hearts away from the temporary things of this world and focus on the eternal promises of God.

True peace is not found in the world—it is found in Christ.

Hello everyone, this is Prophet sent by God to draw the heart of men back to Him. I want to welcome you to this episode of my podcast titled Where is God? It's a very important um topic that I want to address because of what is happening in the world right now. A lot of things are happening and people are asking questions about the presence of God. And where is God? This is an important question that many people ask. And many are searching for the Lord God in different situations and circumstances of life. But the question remains: where is God truly found? Where will you find God? We know that the scripture teaches that God fills the heavens and the earth in Jeremiah chapter 23, verse 24. Yet we must still ask where can the presence of God be found? Many people search for the presence of God in the wrong places, in the wrong situations and in the wrong circumstances. Although God is omnipresence and fills the heaven and earth, we must understand where his presence truly dwells. Praise the living God. The Bible declares that in Isaiah chapter 66, verse 1 to 2, it says, Heaven is my throne. This is God speaking to the prophet Isaiah, and the heart is my fossil. Where is the house that you will build for me? And where is the place of my rest? For all those things my hand has made. So from this scripture we learn that there is indeed a place where God chooses to rest on the heart. It is not found in large buildings, nor is it dependent on good times or bad times. There is a place where the perpetual presence of God dwells. Praise the living God. The presence of God can only be found in one who has received the Holy Spirit of God. In Acts chapter 2, verse 38, it says, Repent and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promises for you and to your children and to as many as the Lord our God shall call. And not only that, those who live according to the calling of God through Christ Jesus our Lord, in Ephesians chapter 2, verse 10. So many people try to find God in situations in the world, in other people, in circumstances. So they look at what is going on in their physical surrounding. You know, they look at the situation and circumstances of life, they look at the world and they begin to use it to predict whether God is here or not. You know, they judge the presence of God by what they see happening around them in the world. But they forgot, they forget that the world has rebelled against God, and the world dwells in darkness. In John chapter 3, verse 19. So the entire world dwells in darkness, and God does not dwell in darkness. And that is why in the world today it seems as if the presence of God is nowhere to be found, and that is because there's a lot of darkness covering the world as we know it. So in 1 John chapter 5, verse 19, the Bible, the scripture says that the whole world lies in darkness. The entire world lies in darkness. So if you are looking for God in situation and circumstances in the world, you will not find him. You will not find him because the world itself is full is filled with darkness. Praise the living God. And the Bible says in 1 John chapter 1, verse 5, it says, God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. So when you see darkness, you know that you cannot find the presence of God in such a place. Praise God. So the scripture clearly tells us that God is light. God is light. And if God is light and the world is full of darkness, then why do people seek for God or look for God in situation and circumstances in the world? Why do they search for God in darkness? Why are you searching for God in the in the in the darkness of the world? You will not find him there. You will not find the presence of God in the darkness of this world. Doesn't matter where you go, doesn't matter what country you are, it doesn't matter what city you are, they all dwell in darkness. God can only be found in Christ. God can only be found in Christ because the Bible teaches that the Son is in the Father, and the Father is in the Son. And John chapter 14, verse 10 to 11. And he says, He will ask the Son, ask the Father. 1 John 2, 23, 1 John 5, 12. So the presence of God is in Christ. And if you do not have Christ, you cannot have the presence of the living God. Because Jesus said, He said, I am the light that cometh into the world. That whosoever followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the path of light. So you know, people are looking for the light in the wrong places, but the light is in Christ. And Christ is not of this world. Understand? And you know, Jesus says, He told the disciples, He says, He says, He says, I took you out of the world. You see, I brought you out of the world. So through Christ, God has delivered us from the world and give us the light of God. So when you have the Lord Jesus Christ, you have the light of God. So, and this light of God can dwell in you, you can have the peace and the righteousness of God in you, even though you dwell in darkness. Amen. You dwell in the world where you have dark and thick darkness all over everywhere. So that is why you don't look for the presence of God in the world. You look for it in Christ, and you have Christ in you. If you are repented of your sin, if you have put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, you know, and the scripture says that men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil in John chapter 3, verse 19 to 20. So therefore, whenever you see evil, darkness, unrighteousness, injustice, understand that the presence of God is not there. The presence of God cannot dwell in darkness because God is light. In him, there is no darkness at all. There is absolutely no element of darkness in God. So when you see evil, darkness, unrighteousness, or injustice, understand that the presence of God is not in that place, not in that situation, and not in that circumstances. Because God is perfect. God is perfect. God is perfect. Every element of perfection is in God. The Bible says that all his ways are the ways of justice. So there is no injustice in the ways of God. There's no unrighteousness in the path of God, in the ways of this are what I'm trying to teach everyone today is to understand the character of God. So that you will know when God is working and where he is not. You will know where the spirit of God is in oppression and where the spirit of God is not. Because this characteristic of God, it's what follows the presence of God. Praise God. So righteousness, justice. When you see injustice, you know that there's another spirit in oppression. When you see unrighteousness, you know there is another spirit in oppression, not the spirit of God. Praise God. Because there is no injustice in God, there's no partiality with God, there's no favoritism with God. Those are the character of God. Praise the living God. So this is something that we must understand so that we do not search for God in the wrong place, in the wrong situation, in the wrong circumstances. Today in the world, many people are searching for peace. But they are looking for peace according to the world's definition rather than according to God's definition. What God calls peace is not what the world calls peace. But praise be to God Almighty, because God has given peace to the world. But that peace is found in Christ. So, because when Jesus Christ was born, the Bible tells us that the heavenly host of angels praised God and declared that glory to God in the eyes and on earth, peace and goodwill towards men. So God gave men peace. That peace that everyone is searching for all over the world today. That peace that people are searching in different situations, different circumstances, in different countries, in different jobs. God has given that peace to the world in Christ more than 2,000 years ago when Christ was born on earth. The Bible says the angels of God they celebrated, they sang, they said, Glory to God in the highest and on earth. Peace, good will towards men. God has given men peace. God has given men peace, and that peace is in the Lord Jesus Christ. That peace, the peace of God that passeth all understanding. The peace of God that the world cannot give can only come through Christ. And that's why Jesus told disciples, it said, In the world that you will have tribulation, in the world that you have trouble, but in me you will have peace. He said, Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. So it is that peace that many are despising today. It is that same peace that God gave the world through the Lord Jesus Christ that many take for granted, that many are substituting for temporal peace, temporal pleasure, temporal glory, and the passing glory of the world. Because the peace, the kind of peace that God gives, it's not the kind of peace that removes all the trouble from the world. No. It's not the peace that eliminates wars or conflict. It is not a peace based on worldly prosperity or material abundance. That is not the kind of peace that God has given to the world through the Lord Jesus Christ. The peace that God gives is the peace that comes through Christ. This is the peace that God desires for you to have. This is the peace that God desires for all men to have. Even in the midst of life difficulties, when you have that peace, it does not matter what happens in your life or what is going on around you. You will know that the peace of God lives within you and endures forever. The peace of God that endures forever. This is not the peace that goes away with the passing glory of the world. Bible says in 2 Corinthians chapter 4, verse 17 to 18. It says, For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us. A far more exceeding an eternal weight of glory. He said, For why we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, which are unseen. Say, for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are life eternal, internal. The things which are not seen are internal. God wants you to focus on internal things, not on temporary things. He wants your heart to be set on the things of God that endures forever. Colossians chapter 3, verse 1 to 2. The book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, verse 3 to 4, scripture says, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercies has begotten us again to a living up to the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefined, and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you. Your inheritance is in Christ. Your inheritance is in the kingdom of God, not the kingdom of this world. Not the passing kingdom of this world. The Bible says that the world is passing away and the laws thereof. But he that doeth the will of God shall abide forever. So the world, everything that you see in the world right now is going to pass away. Not one, not one thing in the world today will endure. Not one, I'm telling you. Everything will be born down on that great day of the Lord. Nothing will endure. The new heaven and the new earth will come down from the throne of God. So you don't put your heart on these things. Don't give it to your heart and mind. So the things that God has given you in Christ is not in the system of corrupt men and women who are driven by selfish desires and ambitions, influenced by the powers of darkness. Take your heart away from those things. Ask God to turn away your heart from worthless things that are in the world, but to incline your heart to his testimonies, as scripture says, that blessed are those that keep your testimonies. Praise God. So God does not want you to place your hope in the things of the world, or place your peace on the peace of the world. That is not the kind of peace that God wants to give to you. Your peace is in the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the peace of God that passes all understanding. Philippians chapter 4, verse 7. So even in the midst of trouble, corruption, and darkness, you can have peace with God. Praise the living God. Even in the midst of trouble, corruption, and darkness, you can still have peace with the living God. And the peace is found in Christ, who came down from heaven. John chapter 6, verse 38, and died for your sins, so that you might find rest in God and be reconciled to him. So, why are you searching for peace in the world instead of seeking the peace of God or seeking peace with God? Why are you searching for peace in the world? Bible says in Mark chapter 8, verse 36, so what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and yet loses his soul? So, what good is it to gain everything in the world? Let lose your connection with God and the peace that he gives. That is why you should not put your heart to those things, but give your entire being to God. I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. All your being is for the praise of God. Praise God. So don't trade what is center for what is temporary. Do not keep your eyes focused on the things of this world. Instead, set your eyes on the things of heaven and the purposes of God. The world is going to pass away and everything in it will fade. But the one who does the will of God abide forever. 1 John 2.17. So do not let your heart be troubled by circumstances or situations of the world. These things are temporary. They will pass away. Tell yourself, they will pass away. Whether it's hunger, whether there is war, whether there is joblessness, no matter the situation, it will pass away. It will not endure forever. Everything that you see today, every pain, every suffering, every disappointment is going is happening for a season. It will pass away. It will not endure forever. But the things that God has promised you, the things that you see in the promise of God, they will last forever. They will last forever. No one can take it away from you, what God has promised you. As scripture says, eyes have not seen, nor yes head. Neither is it entertained in the heart of men. The things that God has prepared for them that love him. So God has prepared great things for those who love him and seek him with their whole heart. So do not look for God where he is not. Look for him where he is found in Christ. If you have Christ, you have God. 1 John 2 23. And if you have Christ, you have the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. Jesus Christ came to deliver you from the bondage of this world, from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. Colossians chapter 1, verse 13. And from the power of Satan to the power of God. Acts chapter 26, verse 18. That is your joy. That is your peace, and that is your deliverance, and that is your internal hope. Do not allow anything to turn your heart away from these truths. I thank you and God bless you in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
