Okay, so for this week's message, I sat down. I was gonna do this whole spring equinox spread. Oh my god, it's getting windy. It's crazy. It was like 81 degrees today. It felt like summer. And then I was walking out of dinner, and it felt like there was a 15 or 20 degree temperature change just while we were inside the restaurant. So crazy. I think it's about to storm. So I really should probably get to this message so I don't get raided on. Okay. Anyway, um, I was gonna do this whole equinox spread. I felt very strongly that spring had a message that it wanted to share. Like worded in that way, like spring has something it wants to say as we are entering this new season. And that kind of makes sense because the equinox always coincides with Aries season, which is the start of a new astrological year. I am not an astrologist by any stretch of the imagination, but like, you know, new beginnings or whatever. And I felt like, again, there was this message that wanted to be shared about it. I sat down, I started making this spread. I started asking all these, I don't know, kind of like flowery seasonal questions about I don't know what people usually ask in that kind of like new beginning type spread. And I was sitting there and I was like really uninspired with the questions I asked. And it's not like they were questions I don't ask in other types of spreads, but I was just sitting there feeling like uh they just weren't hitting. I don't know. Um but as I was sitting with it, I realized that that was I basically came to the conclusion that like, okay, I feel like spring really has a strong message it wants to share. Or I don't know if the message is strong actually at this point. I'm just like it has something it wants to say. I have no idea what the context is. Like, I don't feel like this isn't context, anything in particular, or like whatever. I just don't know what it is. So it's like, how am I supposed to know what questions to ask? Anyway, I just get to the point where I'm like, oh, why don't you just ask Spring what message it has for you? So all of that was a really long-winded way of saying, in a way, this is a spring equinox spread, but in another way, in the end, I really just asked Spring like what it had to say and why. Why this message, why now? So those are the two prompts that I'm gonna share in this reading. Maybe we'll talk about the other like spread questions I asked and what the answers were, but maybe we won't. We'll see. We'll see if that starts raining or not at that point. Okay, anyway. What message does Spring have for us? What does Spring want us to know as we are entering this new season? And I had the Three of Swords, the Empress, and the Page of Swords.

Okay. And like, do I take you on the journey of how this message came to me? Ooh, that feels warm. Okay. Okay, yeah, I'll take you on the journey. So the first thing I got came from each of the swords. With the three of swords on one hand, it was familiar hell. And with the page of swords on the other hand, it was unfamiliar heaven. And then I'm looking at the Empress in between the two, and curious why that's the card that's sitting in the middle of these two, these two what? Are they choices? Are they perspectives of a same situation? Like, I don't know. And so I was curious about that. And basically what I was getting was the Empress is all about divine femininity. Okay, I feel like I should just warn you guys. Two things. First things first, you're gonna have to circle the drain with me here. I'm full, I'm a little cold, I'm a little tired. So I'm sorry, this isn't gonna be as concise as it probably could be. Secondly, I'm gonna be referencing divine femininity, divine masculinity, wounded femininity, etc., a lot in this message. So I just want to make it clear that when I'm using those terms, this has literally nothing to do with gender and or sex. This is very much individual and acknowledging that both energies exist within you and long to be expressed. Okay, anyway, the Empress is divine femininity embodied, and the first part of this message was addressing that energy in a way where it's like it was acknowledging part of the definition of divine femininity. It was acknowledging the energy of receptivity, the energy of passivity in a lot of ways, the energy of someone who rests and relaxes, relaxes and luxuriates, but then kind of stopping there. Oh, yeah. And so there's this halfway definition of what it is to be in your divine feminine energy, and using that half definition, like under the impression that that's the full understanding. I think a lot of times in pop culture tarot, which I'm not shading, but I'm just acknowledging that a lot of times people will reference this card and talk about, oh, divine feminine energy, the empress is, you know, she's enjoying her abundance, she's, you know, luxuriating and everything's being brought to her. What's your capacity to receive? This is receiving energy, etc. And none of that, I'm not disagreeing with that or saying that that's wrong or that that interpretation is whatever. I'm just saying that in this message in particular, there's this very strong reminder that, like, it's kind of like there's a lot that's being left out if you just leave it there. And that when you leave it there, and that's your only understanding of divine feminine energy, that it rests and relaxes and receives. If you're operating in your divine feminine energy only in those ways, you're kind of operating from a wounded feminine energy. Why this matters is because the full picture of divine feminine energy, hello, is um oh, we're really close to the church bell right now. So that's loud. The reason that matters is because the other part of divine feminine, divine feminine energy, is creation, vision. The divine feminine rests and relaxes and is in the energy of reception. Because oftentimes that's the energy that you need to be in order to receive inspiration, creative inspiration, creative vision, divine inspiration.

Okay, the Empress is traditionally speaking, so synonymous with abundance, right?

Like she's always seen as someone who's indulging and or luxuriating in their abundance someone who doesn't have the stress or worry about like having to figure things out, having to solve for anything, right?

She just receives it, quote unquote. But again, what is she receiving? Okay, the reason I bring up that this card is seen as so abundant is because it's interesting to then look at the card and realize that it is set in nature. She's like on this throne that's made up of stones and like pillows, but she's set somewhere in the woods. And so this card that's synonymous with abundance, it's not like she's in a palace somewhere surrounded by people who are bringing her things. You know, she doesn't have Wi-Fi access and a lot of screens. She's incredibly abundant, she's luxuriating in her abundance, but she's not a consumer. She's a creator. And the reason that she's set in this natural setting in this forest or woods or whatever is because she is someone who can be amongst all of these raw resources and see and perceive and experience abundance. Okay. One of the things that came to me in order to help like drive home that message was like, I don't know if this is a saying, it must be. Again, inspiration, creative vision, the divine downloads so that it you can create whatever it is that okay, you get the point.

So the Empress, again, she's often seen as someone, you know, resting and luxuriating and whatever.

And yes, that's true, but part of the message with this was like don't confuse rest and reception for incapability.

Okay, she's not a she's not a baby. She's not incompetent.

She's relaxed and stress-free and open and receptive because that is the best energy to be in. She's tapped into joy and fun and play and abundance because that is the best energy to be in for your creative genius to find you. And when you can receive a download about what it is that you want to create or what you want to try or a direction you want to go, and you can look around you and see amongst you all of the ingredients, all the raw materials that you could need in order to make that thing happen, in order to get that thing going. When you can have that vision, when your resourcefulness is that like locked in. And this isn't to say that like this is what three of swords always means, or like this is what page of swords generally means when you pull the card, but it's just like in the context of the story these three cards are telling together. Okay, so I'm looking at the three cards, and uh the way it comes to me is like the function of the divine feminine. Okay, do you remember doing functions in what would that have been? Algebra 2. I had never thought of this, probably since I was in whatever. Is this pre-cal? I don't, I actually don't remember. And it's never occurred to me. This has never crossed my mind. But basically, that was the analogy I was getting, the Empress um operating as a function. Okay, so anyway, one of the functions of your divine feminine energy is to take in what Three of Swords is representing in this case, which is pain from past experiences, wounding. She can take that in, consume it, and when she spits it out, it's like on the other end, is this page of swords energy, this courage, and this bravery. When you're operating from an incomplete sense of what feminine energy is and what it can do, when you have these three of swords experiences, you might walk away from that feeling like I will never approach this thing again, it caused me pain. Or I tried something and it didn't go how I thought it was going to go. And for whatever reason, that hurts me. And so I'm not going to try that again. And maybe I won't try anything ever again. Or when your sense of feminine energy is skewed to this idea that you can only ever receive, and you can only ever receive what other people can give you, what other people can do for you. Again, it like fosters this one sense that energy isn't content, um, that it doesn't contribute anything, and like adds your relationship to that energy, you feel vulnerable and like easily bruised, easily hurt, versus when you have this full, complete understanding of divine feminine energy of why we rest, why we relax, what it means to receive. You don't have to look back at past pain and fear approaching those types of experiences again. Because the function of your divine feminine energy is to take in that experience, to transmute that pain and to come out on the other side of it with bravery and courage to face it again, knowing that you've opened yourself up to what it is you didn't have before last time. And that can ultimately take you beyond the pain you're familiar with in that situation and into an unfamiliar heaven. When you're rooted in what the truth of divine feminine energy is, and you're aware of its ability to function in this way, when fear arises, when old wounding is triggered, you don't like where once upon a time that would have been a door marked do not enter. It's like now your presence in your divine feminine energy is what can turn that fear into the courage and confidence to move forward to go through that door because what exists on the other side of it is the version of you that doesn't have to fear that thing anymore. The version of you that has what she needs to experience that situation, to perceive that situation in a new way, from a new perspective, that isn't wounded in pain or afraid. Your divine feminine energy knows oh God it's so cloudy but there was a break in the clouds and I looked up and I just see this little sliver of the moon. I love it. Your divine feminine energy knows that if it can bring feminine energy and presence to the situation it can receive whatever it is it needs to know in order to approach that situation differently and perceive the abundance within it.

Sometimes maybe even a lot of the times she's receiving lemons wounded feminine energy might perceive disappointment in that divine feminine energy perceives the blessing in that the abundance in that the abundance in having been given the resources the ingredients everything you need in order to create what it is that you asked for in order to create what it is that inspired you. Okay hopefully that's somewhat making sense after the fact I asked okay well why does spring feel the need to be sharing that message like why that why now um because I did find it interesting that after four weeks of like more masculine energy right we had the three kings and the emperor why now is it raising this message about the feminine and when I did that the queen of pentacles came out and the emperor okay queen of pentacles is the card in the deck that is arguably the most similar to the Empress I don't know why I'm saying arguably definitely is um and so the way this felt was like it's amazing like if I could have pulled the Empress twice I would have so it gave me the next best thing instead which was the Queen of Pentacles okay the message I got from this is like the divine masculine is rising to the surface has been rising to the surface because we went on that journey with our divine feminine we took the time to rescue our divine feminine energy we reworked our relationship with it and we moved into the place where it grew from wounded into divine energy. And in doing so the divine masculine energy within us naturally worked itself out too basically the message I'm getting around this is like okay I guess in my mind in the past I was approaching all of this divine masculine energy that was coming forward I was approaching it like oh okay we did the work on the divine feminine now it's time to do the work on the level of the divine masculine but really what I'm getting is like actually you don't in doing the work on the level of the divine feminine you have concurrently been doing work on the level of the divine masculine basically the message I was getting around this is like it's a set of scales it's a set of scales and if your divine feminine energy is out of balance your divine masculine energy also has to be out of balance they balance each other out so if one is an underused skill the other is automatically going to be the overused skill but if you bring one into balance naturally the other is going to be brought into balance everything always has to equal a hundred everything always has to equal a hundred so if your feminine energy is in balance so is your masculine and the reason that's so significant is because Aries energy the Emperor in tarot is ruled by Aries energy and Aries is action oriented energy initiatory energy and I feel like the reason Spring is bringing forward this message is because it's essentially saying you recognize the function of your divine feminine energy you recognize that the reason that you are meant to prioritize and trust in rest and reception intuition etc is so that you can receive the vision of what it is you're meant to do, what it is you're meant to create and then you also have the resourcefulness and the vision to see how that wants to be created so that when you go and take action when you go implement a plan on how to go about that and get it done that divine masculine energy supports and complements the divine feminine energy from which it came from and when you can keep your divine feminine energy in balance your masculine will naturally also be in balance now that we're going to be moving into this season where we're taking action this message is coming forward to say trust the relationship that you have cultivated with your divine feminine energy and trust that as you move into your masculine energy you know how to embody it in a way that supports the feminine energy that you also know how to embody.

This is a message about divine union but it's the divine union within you I've said it before but like a lot of us you know if we're just living based on you know how society teaches us is the best way to live we end up taking action from an unbalanced place I've talked a lot before about food did masculine energy but I'm realizing well of course because our relationship to our feminine energy was I mean in some cases just like non existent but anyway there's a reason why that was the pre-work there was a reason why rest and reception came first there's a reason why turning to the divine feminine and rebalancing that energy comes first came first and spring is giving us this message that's like we've done that now or if you feel like you haven't then that's your call to action go on that journey knowing that as you're doing that you are naturally and automatically improving your relationship with you are naturally and automatically rebalancing your divine masculine energy as well okay this divine union matters because none of us are all one or the other to be human is to be both maybe in different ratios yes but knowing your ratio is essential because then you're however many steps closer to understanding how it is you human how it is you create and share what it is you came here to share with the world okay that's the message Spring has for us do with it what you will peace and love
