Naveen Narayanan's Podcast
This podcast is a space for thoughtful leaders who want to move beyond surface-level strategies and understand what truly drives execution, culture, and results.
Each episode explores the deeper forces that shape organizations—mindset, leadership language, decision-making, habits, and belief systems—long before they show up in performance metrics. Rather than chasing quick fixes or management fads, we step back to examine how leaders think, how teams respond, and why some organizations progress while others remain stuck.
If you’re a business leader, manager, or change agent seeking clarity, perspective, and practical wisdom for building resilient, future-ready organizations, this podcast is for you.

How Crisis Gave Birth to Profit Leadership
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Profit Leadership was not born in a classroom or a consulting framework.
It was born in a crisis.
When COVID hit, many organizations that were profitable just months earlier suddenly faced deep uncertainty. Cash flows tightened. Demand vanished. And the fascination with tools, certifications, and frameworks quickly faded.
In this episode, I share the personal story of how that moment reshaped my thinking on continuous improvement and leadership. I reflect on what truly matters when survival is at stake, how years of systems thinking were distilled into clarity, and how the concept of Profit Leadership emerged to help organizations identify and arrest profit leaks quickly.
This is also a deeply personal episode, as the journey led to the writing of the Profit Leadership book—co-created with my father and published just days after his passing.
This episode is about clarity under pressure, leadership in uncertainty, and the principles that endure long after crises fade.
