365 DAYS of COURAGE, STRENGTH & FAITH DAILY SCRIPTURE • DECLARATION • PRAYER WITH JIM HANNAHS
Welcome to Daily Courage — a Scripture declaration journey by Jim Hannahs.
Every day we speak one biblical truth.
Because identity is shaped by repetition.
Because the word you say,
is the word your heart learns to believe.
So breathe deeply.
Slow down.
Say this with faith:
“Speak truth. Write transformation. Live courage.”
Let’s begin Day 1

— Philippians 4:7
Welcome to 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. I'm Jim Hannes. Thank you for allowing me to spend a few moments with you today. No matter where this episode finds you, whether you're beginning your morning, driving to work, taking a walk, or simply searching for a little encouragement, I believe God has something He wants to remind you of today. My prayer is that these next few minutes will strengthen your faith, renew your courage, and remind you that you never face life alone. Before we begin, take one slow deep breath. Breathe in God's peace and slowly breathe out every worry you've been carrying. Again, breathe in God's presence and exhale out every fear. Let's quiet our hearts together as we turn our attention to God's Word. Today's scripture for day 195 is Philippians chapter 4, verse 7. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Peace is more powerful than you realize. The peace of God does more than calm us, it protects us. Paul said it guards our hearts and minds, like a watchman standing at the gate. God's peace helps protect us from fear, from despair, and from emotional exhaustion. When we bring our concerns to God, his peace becomes a shield, not because every problem disappears, but because his presence remains. Let's breathe in the promise that God guards our heart. Father, guard my heart. Exhale, I receive your peace. Do that again. Father, guard my heart. Exhale, I receive your peace. Today's affirmation, my heart is protected, my mind is protected, I am safe in God's care. I am growing stronger, peace surrounds me. Today's declaration, today I will allow God's peace to guard me. I will trust His presence. I will reject fear. I will walk forward confidently. Today's reflection question What area of your life most needs God's peace today? Let's pray. Father, thank you for guarding my heart and mind. Your peace remain with me throughout this day. Amen. Today's Courage Challenge. Pray specifically about one concern that has been troubling your heart. Thank you for joining me today for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. If today's message has encouraged your heart, consider sharing it with someone who may need this same reminder today. And as you go, remember this. God has not called you to live in fear. He has called you to walk by faith, one step at a time, one promise at a time, one day at a time. Until tomorrow, keep your eyes on Jesus, stand firm in his promises, and walk boldly in his strength. And never forget, the God who walks with you today is already waiting in your tomorrow. God bless you, my friend. I'll meet you again tomorrow for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith.
