365 DAYS of COURAGE, STRENGTH & FAITH DAILY SCRIPTURE • DECLARATION • PRAYER WITH JIM HANNAHS
Welcome to Daily Courage — a Scripture declaration journey by Jim Hannahs.
Every day we speak one biblical truth.
Because identity is shaped by repetition.
Because the word you say,
is the word your heart learns to believe.
So breathe deeply.
Slow down.
Say this with faith:
“Speak truth. Write transformation. Live courage.”
Let’s begin Day 1

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."
— John 10:28
Welcome to 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. I'm Jim Hannes. Thank you for allowing me to spend a few moments with you today. No matter where this episode finds you, whether you're beginning your morning, driving to work, taking a walk, or simply searching for a little encouragement, I believe God has something He wants to remind you of today. My prayer is that these next few minutes will strengthen your faith, renew your courage, and remind you that you never face life alone. Before we begin, take one slow deep breath. Breathe in God's peace and slowly breathe out every worry you've been carrying. Again, breathe in God's presence and exhale out every fear. Let's quiet our hearts together as we turn our attention to God's Word. Today's scripture for day 197 is found in John 10, verse 28, and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish. Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Today, allow yourself to rest in this simple truth. You are safe in God's hands. Fear often whispers that everything depends on us, that we must protect ourselves, control outcomes, anticipate every problem, yet Jesus reminds us that our lives are held securely in His hands. The same hands that calm storms, the same hands that healed the broken, the same hands that carry the cross. Those hands are holding you today. You may not know what tomorrow brings, but you can trust the one who holds tomorrow. Let's breathe in the promise that Jesus holds me close. Breathe in, Jesus, hold me close. Exhale, I rest in your care. Let's do that again. Inhale, Jesus, hold me close. Exhale, I rest in your care. Today's affirmation, I am safe, I am protected, I am held by God's love, I am not alone. Peace surrounds me. Today's declaration. Today I will rest in God's protection. I will release fear. I will trust his care, and I will walk forward peacefully. Today's reflection question What fear becomes smaller when you remember God's protection? Let's pray. Jesus, thank you for holding my life securely. Help me rest and your loving care today. Amen. Today's Courage Challenge. Whenever fear arises today, remind yourself I am safely held by God. Thank you for joining me today for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. If today's message has encouraged your heart, consider sharing it with someone who may need this same reminder today. And as you go, remember this. God has not called you to live in fear. He has called you to walk by faith, one step at a time, one promise at a time, one day at a time. Until tomorrow, keep your eyes on Jesus, stand firm in his promises, and walk boldly in his strength. And never forget, the God who walks with you today is already waiting in your tomorrow. God bless you, my friend. I'll meet you again tomorrow for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith.
