365 DAYS of COURAGE, STRENGTH & FAITH DAILY SCRIPTURE • DECLARATION • PRAYER WITH JIM HANNAHS
Welcome to Daily Courage — a Scripture declaration journey by Jim Hannahs.
Every day we speak one biblical truth.
Because identity is shaped by repetition.
Because the word you say,
is the word your heart learns to believe.
So breathe deeply.
Slow down.
Say this with faith:
“Speak truth. Write transformation. Live courage.”
Let’s begin Day 1

— Psalm 127:2
Welcome to 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. I'm Jim Hannes. Thank you for allowing me to spend a few moments with you today. No matter where this episode finds you, whether you're beginning your morning, driving to work, taking a walk, or simply searching for a little encouragement, I believe God has something He wants to remind you of today. My prayer is that these next few minutes will strengthen your faith, renew your courage, and remind you that you never face life alone. Before we begin, take one slow deep breath. Breathe in God's peace and slowly breathe out every worry you've been carrying. Again, breathe in God's presence and exhale out every fear. Let's quiet our hearts together as we turn our attention to God's Word. The scripture for day 200 is found in Psalm 127, verse 2. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, for so he giveth his beloved sleep. One of the most beautiful truths about God is this: He keeps working when we stop. While we sleep, while we rest, while we recover, God remains active. Many of us carry stress because we subconsciously believe everything depends on us. But God is reminding you today, it does not. He is faithful, he is attentive, and he is working behind the scenes. You can rest. Let's take a moment and breathe in that promise. That Lord, you are working. Breathe in, Lord, you are working. Exhale, I choose rest. Do that again. Inhale, Lord, you are working. Exhale, I choose rest. Today's affirmation. I do not carry life alone. God is working, God is faithful, God is present, and I can rest peacefully. Today's declaration. Today I trust God's activity. I will stop unnecessary striving. I will receive his rest. I will walk forward peacefully. Today's reflection question. How would your life change if you truly believed that God was working behind the scenes? Let's pray. Father, thank you for working in ways I cannot see. Help me rest confidently in your faithfulness. Amen. Today's Walk Forward Challenge. Take one intentional period of rest today without feeling guilty. Thank you for joining me today for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. If today's message has encouraged your heart, consider sharing it with someone who may need this same reminder today. And as you go, remember this. God has not called you to live in fear. He has called you to walk by faith, one step at a time, one promise at a time, one day at a time. Until tomorrow, keep your eyes on Jesus, stand firm in his promises, and walk boldly in his strength, and never forget, the God who walks with you today is already waiting in your tomorrow. God bless you, my friend. I'll meet you again tomorrow for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith.
