Welcome to 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. I'm Jim Hannes. Thank you for allowing me to spend a few moments with you today. No matter where this episode finds you, whether you're beginning your morning, driving to work, taking a walk, or simply searching for a little encouragement, I believe God has something He wants to remind you of today. My prayer is that these next few minutes will strengthen your faith, renew your courage, and remind you that you never face life alone. Before we begin, take one slow deep breath, breathe in God's peace, and slowly breathe out every worry you've been carrying. Again, breathe in God's presence and exhale out every fear. Let's quiet our hearts together as we turn our attention to God's Word. Scripture for day two hundred and sixty is found in Second Corinthians five verse seven. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Take a slow deep breath, and as you breathe in, receive encouragement, and as you breathe out, release discouragement over what you cannot yet see. Have you ever worked hard at something and wondered whether anything was changing? You prayed, you practiced, you showed up, you remained faithful, but progress seemed invisible. Today I want you to remember, not all progress announces itself. Some of the most meaningful growth happens quietly. There are moments when progress is obvious. The scale changes, the account grows, the opportunity arrives, the habit becomes easier, the prayer gets answered, but other kinds of progress are harder to measure. How do you measure becoming more patient? How do you measure deeper trust? How do you measure learning to forgive? How do you measure becoming less controlled by other people's opinions? How do you measure spiritual roots? Often you don't recognize that kind of growth until something tests it. Then suddenly you realize I responded differently this time. The same situation that once caused panic now sends you into prayer. The same criticism that once ruins your week, now hurts for an hour, and then you release it. The same temptation that once controlled you now meets resistance. The same uncertainty that once overwhelmed you now produces God, I trust you. That is progress. Don't dismiss it because nobody applauded. Think about a child growing. If you watch the child every day, the growth may seem almost invisible. But look at a photograph from a year ago, suddenly you see it. Spiritual growth can feel the same. Day by day you may wonder whether anything is changing. Then you look backward, you realize, you pray differently, you think differently, you recover differently, you forgive differently, you trust differently, you have survived things the former version of you didn't know how to carry. God has been working. Maybe the problem isn't that you aren't progressing, maybe you're measuring the wrong thing. We tend to measure visible outcomes. God also measures faithfulness, character, motives, obedience, endurance, and love. The world may not recognize those things, but heaven does. So don't abandon something good simply because you cannot yet see dramatic results. Keep watering, keep praying, keep learning, keep showing up, keep trusting. Faith walks when sight doesn't have enough evidence yet. And sometimes today's invisible progress becomes tomorrow's undeniable transformation. Let's take a moment and breathe in, Lord, help me trust. And as we exhale, even when I cannot see. Breathe in, Lord help me trust. Exhale even when I cannot see. Do it one more time. Breathe in, Lord help me trust. Exhale even when I cannot see. Today's affirmation. Invisible progress is still progress. God is working beneath the surface. I am growing in ways I cannot recognize yet. Faithfulness matters. I will continue walking by faith. Today's declaration Today I refuse to measure growth only by visible results. I will notice character, faith, patience, obedience, and endurance. I believe God is working even where progress feels invisible. Today's reflection question What evidence of internal growth have you overlooked because you've been focused only on external results? If this podcast has encouraged you, strengthened your faith, or simply helped you to take one more step forward, would you consider supporting the show financially? Your support helps us continue creating daily encouragement, scripture-based teaching, and resources designed to bring hope to weary hearts. There's absolutely no pressure. Your listening and sharing already means so much. But if you feel led to support the ministry, you can simply click the support button in the description of this episode. Thank you for being a part of this community, and thank you for helping us continue sharing hope one day and one person at a time. And as always, keep walking forward. Let's pray. Father, thank you for every way you are changing me. Open my eyes to progress that I have overlooked. Help me not become discouraged when results are slow. Give me endurance to continue doing what is right, grow my character, deepen my faith, strengthen my patience, and teach me to walk by faith when sight cannot yet confirm what you are doing. I trust your invisible work. In Jesus' name, amen. Today's Courage Challenge Compare yourself with your former self, not with someone else. Write down three things you handle differently today than what you did one year ago. Maybe you pray sooner, you recover faster, forgive more easily, set healthier boundaries, you trust God more deeply, you thank God for each one. Then write, growth I cannot always see is still growth God can use. Keep going and walk forward. Thank you for joining me today for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith. If today's message has encouraged your heart, consider sharing it with someone who may need this same reminder today. And as you go, remember this. God has not called you to live in fear. He has called you to walk by faith, one step at a time, one promise at a time, one day at a time. Until tomorrow, keep your eyes on Jesus, stand firm in his promises, and walk boldly in his strength, and never forget the God who walks with you today is already waiting in your tomorrow. God bless you, my friend. I'll meet you again tomorrow for another episode of 365 Days of Courage, Strength, and Faith.
