You know, this was a moment where maybe in our minds we think that worship leading looks and sounds a certain way. But I want us to understand in this room that we were just led to worship for ourselves. Because you know what? What I loved about this morning, and I'm sitting there, and the Lord was like, there's not going to be anything that's going to take the place of your instrument, your voice, declaring these things to God over your own life. Again, to Jamie's point, it's we're saying these things. Because you know what? Even King David had to remind his soul of truth. Guys, there is so much vying for your heart, your affection, your attention. And when we come into places like this, we needed that declaration this morning. I don't want anyone else. I don't need anything else. You are my one thing. Right? If it all gets stripped away, what is the one thing that you absolutely have to have to be right? To be right and good. If you have him, you have it all. If you have it all and you don't have him, you have nothing. And we have to come into these holy moments that just our eyes get opened to the realities of heaven. It's like the veil just lifts of all the noise and the clamor and the glamour and all the stuff that sparkles that is counterfeit. It just gets stripped away. But this morning, you were led by the Holy Spirit through his servants to speak for yourself. I needed that today because we all get to a place where I gotta have this, I need this, I need that. And our list gets longer and longer of what we think we need. But the reality is, is I don't need anyone else. I don't need anything else. If I have him, everything else is a bonus. Everything else is the overflow. Again, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything else will be added. You have needs in your body today, seek first the kingdom. You have needs in your business, in your family, in your home. Seek first the kingdom. Seek the word of God and say, God, what do you want my next step to be? We make our plans, but the Lord orders our steps. If we cooperate, it doesn't mean that just magically happens and He just takes us over, He invites us in. And this morning was a beautiful invitation. No instruments taking your place. You know, sometimes we come into such noise, and there's so much stuff that we could literally just stand there and let someone else do for us. And we can just kind of sway back and forth. I love the moments. Thank you, Joanna, for being confident enough in the Lord and sensitive enough to the Holy Spirit to just back off the microphone. She wasn't forgetting her lyrics, her voice wasn't giving out. She was backing up and making room. We make room for God to be God in your life. Sometimes that's the only thing that gets us through is when people back up and get out of His way. Do not underestimate. Because it's not your power at work, it's His. And when we make those kind of declarations that you are my one thing, you're saying, God, you're the source of all that is good and right. You are the one where my help comes from. I'm not looking to the stock market. You know those people that, man, their moods just ride the wave of the stock market? Because they literally have taken their hope and put it into a system that is guaranteed to not supply. But yet we mentally invest because we want growth. We want this linear growth. The kingdom of God is the only thing that can do that in our lives and our families. He will just continue to take you forward and onward. So thank you guys. Thank you for not being so caught up in what it's supposed to look like. I mean, are we ready to trade that? Our expectations of what we think it should be, what we think it should look like and feel like for where God is really taking us. Again, give me Jesus. Can have all the world, you can have all the stuff, but give me Him. Because man, when you've tasted and seen that the Lord is good and you know there's nothing else outside of Him, it just shifts things, it changes you in such a way. You can't go back to the old way of doing things. Hey, look, when you're in between, when you're not in Egypt anymore, but you're not landed in the promised land, I promise you, we all feel the tension of the what's next. When you're kind of up in the air. But you know what else is in that season? Manna from heaven. Provision, unlike any other time and season you've ever known in your life. And that's where we are because you don't even understand the things that God is storing up for your family, for your future, for your legacy, the things that matter most to you that maybe you don't even know how to ask God for yet. I remember God answering prayers. I wasn't even mature enough in Him to pray. And I thought it was punishment, and yet it was God's provision to remove certain things, to reposition me here and order me there. And one night in frustration, I cried out to God. All my friends were gone. I had nothing. And I was sitting upstairs in my bedroom, and I said, If my phone rings, it's my mom. God, I've given you my life, I've given you everything, and this is what I get. I was complaining to the Lord, and I'm telling you, it was probably the very first time I heard the Lord so loud in my ear. And he said, Well, poor you, all you have is me. And in a moment, I'm telling you, God can do it in a moment where I switched from this, I was deprived of what I thought I deserved, into I was placed in such a posture of privilege that I had one-on-one with the king of heaven and earth. No longer did all that stuff that I thought was taken and stripped and what I had given and sacrificed, it meant absolutely nothing compared to the posture that he had pulled me into that I didn't even know was a thing. Poor you, all you have is me. What a what a privilege. And so here we are, poor us in a school, in these seats, like Gideon's mighty army. Poor us, all we have is him. Thank you, God. Some may pity, but I see the power of God at work in your families. I hear the testimonies, I see the people come up afterwards with tears streaming down their faces, saying, You won't believe what God's doing in my family. Give me that any day. Any day. Give me what Jesus is doing for the people than what we're producing in our own strength. Give me Jesus. Before Ben comes to speak the word, can we sing that together one more time as a declaration, like a confession, and not from a place of pity, but a place of power. Because we can be pitiful or we can be powerful, but we cannot be both at the same time. And right now we get to choose. I don't want anyone else.

SPEAKER_02

Because I don't want anyone else. I don't need anything else. You are my one thing. You love my one thing. I don't want anyone else. And I don't need anything else. You love my one thing. You love my one thing.

SPEAKER_03

If all we have is Him, we have it all. Let's lean in today. Father God, I pray that you would give us eyes to see your kingdom and ears to hear what your spirit is speaking to your people today. God, thank you that you've given us the gift of the church, the gift of pastors and teachers, prophets, evangelists. But God, thank you that you've given us the gift of the church for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry. God, this is a time that you equip your people for the good life that you laid down your life that we could have. We are not our own. We were bought with a price. And Lord, we will spend the rest of our lives living in a way that says, thank you, God. Thank you, God, that you rescued me out of darkness and sin and you placed me among your people. Thank you, God, that there is more for me and my family. Thank you, God, that your spirit and your blood and your sacrifice interrupted the curse of sin and the generational stuff. It ends with me today, God. Thank you, God, for your goodness. We don't need anything else. You are our one thing. In Jesus' name.

Amen.

You know, I had this feeling this morning that there was going to be a flow today. And I told Jamie as we were setting up, I slipped over to her and I said, hey, there's about a 50-50 chance that I'm going to preach the sermon today. So be ready to flow. I just felt it. Come on. I love what she was talking about. Simplicity gives you the ability to just flow, gives you the ability to follow the Holy Spirit wherever he's leading, wherever he's guiding. And the word that he put on my heart that I shared at the encounter night was very similar. And it it it as I was going, Lord, what do you want to do today? What do you want to do today? I just felt him say, lean into that word that you shared at the encounter night. And it's the word crossover. It's the word crossover. And as I began to, and even as we were preparing for the encounter night, this was weeks leading up to that, I heard the word crossover. And I communicated that to, you know, some of the people who were registered and some of our social media posts that there's going to be some things happening in this specific night and in this specific season where there will be dynamic shifts of our individual lives, families, kingdom, businesses, and ministries that will mark the beginning of new seasons, new mindsets, refreshment, empowerment, and fresh joy. And it's very fitting that we're talking about being led by the Spirit and following the Spirit. Everything that Jamie was talking about in the worship and the order of this service today, Melandy, is really, it's really God saying, My ways are not your ways. My thoughts are not your thoughts. That's a reality that requires us to surrender our ways and our thoughts if we want to follow Him. Because if we're following things that make sense, if we're following things that we kind of anticipated, maybe that's not the way. Maybe that's not the path. And so I'm feeling this this morning. And uh there's a couple of things on my heart that I want to do. So I want to share, I want to share this word, and then I want to do some some faith activations in the room today. And we'll maybe do. Were we gonna do presence of the Lord? Or what did we did we have that? Did we maybe maybe at the end? We'll see. We'll flow. So I keep hearing that word crossover, and even um since then, this was a couple of weeks ago, since then, a lot of prophetic words. I follow some prophetic people. If you don't follow some prophetic ministries, I encourage you to follow those. Those don't replace hearing from God, but it sure confirms a lot, and it brings the point of the prophetic ministry is to encourage and to build up and to empower us and to bring confirmation. And I love it because when God speaks, he speaks. My Bible professor uh used to say all the time, God doesn't speak in a corner. God doesn't speak in a corner. He wants his will to be known by everybody. He shares his goodness with all who whosoever will. And just word after word, I start getting these emails from these prophetic voices all over the world, all over the world. And it's all about this crossover, crossover, crossover. And then Melody sends me one yesterday, and it was Mike Signorelli, and he said, I just have this strong urge, uh, this strong notion. I don't have it all sorted out, but he said, but May 1st is a crossover moment, and that May will be a crossover month. So what does that mean? So let's let's talk about that for a second. So crossover, we see it in scripture, but it is essentially a distinct place where you move from one place to another. Think of divine movement. God is a God of divine motion, he's taking us somewhere. The spirit-led life is a life that is going somewhere. To be a follower of Jesus, have you ever thought about that? That means you're moving with him. You're following him. There's a path. Jesus said, narrow is the gate. Narrow is the gate. And narrow is the path. What's a path? It's something you move in a direction down. And few there be that find it. But broad is the gate, and wide is the path that leads to destruction. Where is it going? Towards destruction. Where's the other one going? Towards life. And many go down that path. Why it is that? Because they're not following the Lord. They're following other things. And these crossover moments are essentially these places where we have to decide are we going to follow the Lord? It's that Joshua moment. As for me and my house, right? We're going to follow the Lord. We're going to serve the Lord. It's a distinct place where you move from one place to another, from old to new, from one side to another side, from old ways into new ways, from old places into new places. It's the thing God is bringing us into. It's divine movement. So the two main scriptures that we know of in the Bible about crossover is first of all the Red Sea with Moses. And what kind of a crossover was that? Well, that was a crossover of deliverance from slavery to freedom. Right? And the purpose was, he says, he remember Moses went to Pharaoh and he says, Let my people go, why, that they might worship me. They were going into the wilderness to worship the Lord. It was a crossover of deliverance. It was a crossover of them learning that God will make a way where there is no way. That when you cry out to him, he will lead you out of slavery, out of bondage, and he will make a way where there is no way. The other kind of crossover that it was, it was a crossover of the death and destruction of their enemies. Remember when the Red Sea parted and the Israelites went through on dry ground? Then God waited, they got to the other side, and then he waited until all of the enemies got in to the sea. And then he closed it up. And it says in the Bible in Exodus there that the dead bodies of the soldiers of Egypt, the chariots and the horses and the dead bodies of the armies of Pharaoh washed up on the shore so that the Israelites could see. So you can move into this land, you can cross over this place, and you don't have to fear that the enemies are right behind you. They're dead. You can worship me in peace. You can follow me in peace. And then you have the Jordan with Joshua, and I love this scripture in Joshua 3, verse 1. It says, early the next morning, Joshua and all the Israelites left Acacia grove and arrived at the banks of the Jordan River where they camped before crossing. Three days later, the Israelite officers went through the camp, giving these instructions to the people. When you see the Levitical priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that's the presence of God, move out from your positions and follow them. That's what it looks like to follow the Lord. You're on a journey, you get to a place, you stop, and you wait. They just sat there for three days. The Jordan was in flood stage. There was no way they could cross. And they waited for three days, and then instructions start to come. When you see this happen, watch. When you see movement, when you see the presence of God begin to move before you, then it says this. It says, Move out from your positions. What are your positions right now? What does this crossover look like for you and your family in this season? Is it a crossover out of bondage into freedom? These were specific times that the Lord said. He wasn't doing this all the time. These were specific moments that he orchestrated and facilitated divine movement. There were seasons of this. And he said, Since you've never traveled this way before, they will guide you. He's talking about the priests and the presence of God, the Ark of the Covenant. Pay attention to where the Spirit of God is moving you. What was the Jordan? So the Jordan crossing was listen, the spies crossed the Jordan to go spy out the promised land. And then the Bible says that they crossed back over. The spies crossed the Jordan in flood. Stage twice. It wasn't impossible for someone to cross the Jordan in flood flood stage. What was impossible was that families could cross it in flood stage. That they could cross it, you know, they carried their houses with them and all of their possessions. It was impossible for them to cross as families into what God had for them. It was the the Jordan crossing was a family crossover. And there they stood. And here's the deal. Listen to this. So they they cross over the Jordan, and it says, when the priests step into the river, the river stopped flowing upstream and it and it just dry ground. They walk across, and then God says, This, listen, he says, get Joshua, get 12 stones from the bottom of the river and build an altar. Why? So that when your children ask you, what are these stones? You can tell them about this crossover today. You can tell them how I made a way where there was no way, that I brought you into your promised land. What was that about? It was about family. It was about families following the Lord and entering into the places that He has for them, the new places, taking them a path they've never been before. So listen, the question we all have to ask ourselves, what are we following? What are we following? Are we following the ways of the world? Are we following the sin nature? Is this a crossover of the Red Sea that we need, where we need deliverance from our sin nature? Are we following our sin nature? Are we following the ways of the world? What are we following? We need to follow the Spirit. We need to know how to follow the Spirit. I love this in Numbers 9, verse 15. It says, On the day the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered it. But from evening until morning, the cloud over the tabernacle looked like a pillar of fire. This was the regular pattern. At night, the cloud that covered the tabernacle had the appearance of fire. When the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the tabernacle, the presence of God, the people of Israel would break camp and follow it. This is a picture of the spirit-led life. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel would set up camp. In this way, they traveled and camped at the Lord's command wherever he told them to go. Then they remained at in the camp as long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle. Listen, a crossover is a threshold. It's a line in the sand. We will all have these moments in our life where God leads us up to a certain point and then says, What are you going to do now? I have new places, new ways, new paths, new things, new people, new relationships. In so many ways, I know that the river life is a crossover. This whole church plant is a crossover. It's to get back to it's doing a new thing. It's doing an old thing a new way. Let me say like it's building something new on old foundations. It's getting back to simplifying things. We have overcomplicated what it means for the people of God to gather in the presence of God, to be taught the word of God so we can do the will of God. Those are the only things I care about. I love the people of God, and I want to gather with you in the presence of God. I want to learn and grow in the Word of God so that we can do the will of God. What else do we need? All the other bells and whistles, all the other things just complicate, just loads things up so heavy that we're not nimble, we're not agile. You understand what I'm saying? So today we have this freedom where we're just agile and we can turn and shift and we can just follow the Spirit, whatever he wants to do. I had a I have a message prepared. I've had it for weeks. Going to be preaching on the baptism in the Son, baptism in the name of the Son, part two, and we're going to be talking about the imputed righteousness of Jesus. That the baptism in the name of the Son is a baptism into Jesus' very own righteousness. And it is a powerful, powerful, life-changing message. How many of you have ever heard? Show me your hands if you've ever heard of the imputed righteousness of Jesus. If you've heard of that. Okay, less than half. So you need to know what that is. It's incredibly important. And so we're going to talk about that. It's going to be powerful. I'm excited. But listen, there's lines in the sand. Today, God's saying, I want you to follow me. Listen to James 4. This is this is uh, I believe, a crossover scripture in James 4, 4. He says, This is encouraging, you adulterers. Don't you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? No, listen, when he was calling them adulterers, he he wasn't accusing them of sexual infidelity. It was a spiritual term of idolatry, of serving other masters, of traveling other, following other things besides the Holy Spirit. He says, Don't you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again, if you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. What do you think the scriptures mean when they say that the spirit God has placed within us is filled with envy? But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires, as the scriptures say, God opposes the proud but favors the humble. Listen, so humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. That that what James was saying is you need to cross over. You need to cross over from loyalty to the world into loyalty to God. From friendship with the world into friendship with God. Every Christian, every follower of Jesus has had to make that crossover at some point in their life, maybe multiple times in our life. This was one of the prophetic words that I just read the other day on the 25th. I want to read this to you. He's talking about breaking off the limitations. Listen to what he said. He said, In this crossing over season, the Spirit is drawing you beyond self-imposed boundary lines and containment. Speaking this word over you right now. There is freedom to live beyond labels and identities that have limited you. Break out of confinement, shake off religious legalism, come out from the expectations and opinions of others, exit from wrong alignments, step out of old ruts and routines. Open up options, push back parameters, shatter glass ceilings, enlarge your territory. There is blessing beyond your previous borders and confines. There is favor outside of old, familiar, comfortable places and spaces. You have permission to explore, enlarge, and expand. Things don't have to be done the way you've seen them in the past or the way you've always done them. Previously, many of your decisions had to be either or. You had to choose this or that. Now you are entering a hybrid season. You have permission to do both and. David was a shepherd and a musician, an armor-bearer and a warrior, and then a king. In each new environment, the more on the inside of him was drawn out. You two are much more than you have been labeled or defined or how you have limited yourself in the past. Don't restrict yourself to a narrow area when God has deposited so much diversity within you. Don't be pressured to conform to the expectations of others if you sense the Spirit leading you in a different direction. Your past does not define your present or your future. Try the new, innovate and experiment. Dream again and reimagine what could be. Give things a go. Embrace the shift. Holy living and creative thinking will be a powerful combination in these days. The new breed of kingdom pioneers, entrepreneurs, and creatives are emerging. Men and women with holy boldness and Christ-like humility. These prophetic trailblazers will forge new paths, break new ground, push back frontiers, and take back enemy territory. They won't slot neatly into a category. They don't fit religious stereotypes. They will break the mold. They are difficult to label and difficult to define. They make religious people deeply uncomfortable. They are neither this nor that. They are so much more. Their identity is firmly rooted in Christ. Follow the wind of the Spirit into wide open spaces and uncharted places. Explore and express all that the Father has woven within you. A new level of favor, fruitfulness, and fulfillment will be found on unfamiliar paths. Ask for the Spirit's wisdom to make the right strategic adjustments and pivots in this rapidly changing season. There will be risk, but greater will be the rewards of those who step out into the unknown in response to the leading of the Spirit. Amen. Break off the limitations. That's what God is wanting to do as he leads us by his spirit. And so here's one thing I want you to do. If you're here, somebody from your family, go grab a communion cup for like your family, for everybody that's here. Go grab a communion cup and bring it back to your seat. And we're going to do a faith response today. And somebody bring me one. Melody's got one, okay. Is this good? Y'all good? Alright. So here's a crossover. Communion is about the cross. The body and the blood. The death, the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. The sacrifice of his body beaten, whipped, pierced. His blood that was shed on the cross. Listen, we're gonna cross over. It's the cross over compromise. It's the cross over bondage. The cross over disease. Sickness. Our bodies. His body for our body. His blood for our blood. We have the cross over unrighteousness. Over being led by our flesh and led by our sin nature and led by the world. We have the cross so that we don't have to be led by any of that anymore. And so I don't know what it could be. The Holy Spirit could be ministering all kinds of different crossovers in this room right now. The Israelites needed different ones at different times. We will need different ones at different times. And so here's what I want to do. Let's stand. Lord, we receive this communion today as an act of faith. We are going to cross over some things. What is what is it? What is it that you want to move on from? What is it that you want to have? Like this was the old thing. It doesn't have to be some sinful bad thing. It could just be this is old. This is just something, a way that a way of thinking, old mindsets, the Lord said. You're stepping into new ways of thinking, old patterns. You need to step into new ways of patternistic ways of doing things. Come on, getting out of old money into new money. Amen. Old financial problems that are just recurring, that are just stuck. Just old patterns of financial issues. Old patterns of relational issues. I'm just gonna, as I feel led, I'm just I want to identify some of these. As I say one and just go, yep, that's me. Yep, that's what the Lord's saying. Old health issues, emotional health, mental health, physical health, financial health, relational health, old alignments and relationships. You know that the Lord is saying, you've got to step over this threshold. You've got to leave behind these things and step into the new that I have for you. You have to make room for the new. Lord, we sang it earlier. We will make room for you to do whatever you want to. We will step over the line that you're drawing today. The threshold. Lead us through, God. Is there old wineskins, old church wineskins, old religious things. Stepping over. We're crossing over today. Just take that bread. As we take this bread together, as we receive this together, we're just saying, Lord, we're crossing over. It's the crossover. All of the stuff, all the sin, all the flesh, all the all the nonsense, the ways of this world. We're crossing over. Let's receive that today. Take the cup. I feel this strong right now, but part of this crossover is the Jordan crossover. It's a family crossover. Some of you have family members you're believing for. They're not with you. They're not in the kingdom. You're believing for family members, spouse, children, grandchildren. You're believing for family members to cross over. Come on, hold up that cup if you're believing for somebody to cross over. Just hold it up in faith. I'm believing. Mandy and I and our parents are the only ones in our family that are followers of Jesus. I'm still believing after 25 years of following Jesus. I'm still believing they're gonna cross over, Lord. Shannon and Jason are gonna cross over. Chris and Brad are gonna cross over. They're husbands, their wives, their children. They're gonna cross over. Come on, hold it up. Hold it up. You're believing for family members, spouses, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins. Let's receive the cup together. Now here's what we're gonna do. I want everybody to step out from your chairs. And it doesn't matter where, just wherever, because here's what I want to do. In in sync, we're gonna take a big step together forward, right? And so just get to where you can take a big step forward from where you're standing. Get with your families. You guys can just do this together from up there. This is faith. God responds to faith. He doesn't respond to need, he doesn't respond to desire, he responds to faith. And that's what this is. This is faith. Communion, that's faith. We're gonna take this step. Whatever it is the Holy Spirit's identified, today is a crossover moment. Amen. Alright, so hang. Oh, you going? Okay, okay. I was like, she's gone. She's just crossed over without all of us. All right, all right, we're gonna stand here. All right, here's it. Here's the thing. On three, I'm gonna count to three. I want you to just take a big step forward. A big step forward. One, two, three. Come on. Amen. We're crossing over, Lord. We hear you, Lord. We believe you, God. Just stay right where you are. You're good right there. We're gonna have a just a song to worship the Lord in this new land that He just that He just crossed us over in. Amen. Amen.

Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, thank you, Lord. Thank you, Father. After Joshua led the people across the Jordan, they entered Jericho, encountered some walls and some boundaries, some thresholds, some impossible situations, and once again God said, I'm gonna make a way where there is no way. And he led them to do something that was ridiculous. We're not about to do a Jericho march. I'm just uh just saying, that's next weekend. That's next weekend. We just crossed the Jordan, it's okay, we can rest for a week. Listen, the Spirit led life. It doesn't have to make sense. You you know, in the Acts chapter 2, when the Holy Spirit was poured out, the pillar of fire appeared over the tabernacle. That day. Tongues of fire, cloven tongues of fire. Every Israelite in that room knew exactly what that meant. From the days of Moses and Joshua with the pillar of fire above the tabernacle. And it would move and they moved. Everybody knew now. Now you have the Holy Spirit to follow. And that's how the church was birthed by the leading of the Holy Spirit. That's God's plan. That's God's will for all of our families. Amen. Today was crossover, crossover day for us. And I'm excited about the path ahead. I'm excited about what you're leaving behind. I'm excited about the enemies you're going to see wash up on the shore of your past. The healing, the new life, the truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. We're following him. Amen. Amen. Father, thank you for this day. Thank you that you just reminded us of things we already knew and gave us an opportunity to respond. And I feel a shift. I feel new ground, new territory, new paths, new things, God. Never going back to the old. No turning back. We're going all the way. We're going all the way with the Lord. Because God is on my side. I'm not going back. There's no going back. We're followers of the way. Thank you, God. Lord, we love you today. Amen. Amen.
