Hello and welcome back to the Let's Talk podcast. Before we dive into the episode you are listening to, I wanted to give a little bit of a fair warning because the episode you are listening to was recorded in January and is now coming out in what month is it? Oh yeah, it's March. Yes, you are hearing me correctly. I am putting this episode out in March, and some of the products you will probably be hearing about will probably have already launched or was a limited edition and is now sold out. So I want to give that fair warning. One of them being the cherry bomb, and I'm gonna give my reviews real fast before we dive into the episode, which is I really like the cherry bomb. And I know I said I would not like the cherry bomb when I was recording this, but I really liked it after drinking a few of them, and I still have a collection of them, and I bought a ton of them after I have enjoyed them, and the flavor it reminded me of was a diet Dr. Pepper, and there was a YouTuber slash Instagrammer I follow who called it a feeling of a Dr. Pepper in a energy energy drink form is how they described it, and I'm gonna have to agree with them. I don't think you can find it anymore. I think Alani needs to bring it back. So, Alani representatives, if you are listening to this episode, please bring back cherry bomb for summer 2026 if you must, because it brings the feels of a Dr. Pepper. I have also tried the Lime Slush flavor, which I will be talking about as well in this episode. I've only had one. I probably need to have a couple more before I have my full take on that flavor. I did enjoy the flavor and I've heard mixed reviews on the flavor. Some have liked it, some have not. But just listen to the episode of what I talked about. Those are some of the things I did talk about because I enjoy when Alani launches new flavors. So please sit back, relax, and enjoy today's episode that was recorded back in January. And if you could not tell by the title of this week's episode, I'm talking about upcoming things that are supposed to come out this year. Because there's a lot of talk going around of what's happening in the pop culture world because there's a lot of interesting things coming out, and I want to talk about it. I did not plan this episode at all. It just came to me in my mind I should have planned it. It's fine. Some episodes you plan, some you don't. You're gonna learn that about me is sometimes I just want to talk about things. And one thing you're gonna learn about me is I'm a foodie. I love good, delicious food. If it's by drinks or just food in general, and what I'm about to talk about, I had been seeing for months for a drink brand. I drink occasionally. I have talked about this drink company in the past on my other podcasts that I run with a buddy of mine where I was doing episodes by myself at the time, and I am talking about Alani New. I just want to get to get to it and talk about what I've been seeing with Alani. And there's been a lot of talk about what are some new flavors Alani is gonna come out with this year because apparently somebody in the company possibly has released or kind of hinted at some of the upcoming flavors for 2026. Now we have our tried and trues already out that come out once a year, which is Witches Brew, which I would like to talk about that more at Halloween, which you'll hear about later this year, because that is probably one of my top seasonal drinks they have. It always sells out, it's one of the hardest drinks to find. But they also have their year-round drinks they have that I enjoy. I could list list them all, and I will. Always have been, I forget what the peach flavor is called, but they have a peach that's really good. They have an orange dreamsickle that is to die for, that is my favorite. Reminds me of the orange cream sodas you would get at Cracker Barrel. Mmm. One of my favorite things to get when I used to drink soda when I'd go to Cracker Barrel. I would always grab a bottle of that, and it just brings me back to my childhood when I drink that one. When I grab it. Love that flavor. Grab it all the time. If they have it, that is one of my go-to's that I grab. Hands down, my favorites. And they have a blue raspberry that was one of the first flavors I ever liked when I first started drinking Alani's. I loved the blue raspberry flavor because I'm a raspberry fanatic. I drink it all the time. Love it, love it, love it. And I'm just a big Alani new fan. Always have been, always will be. I know there's a lot of energy drinks people drink, but Alani seems to be one of the cleaner ones I turn to. Have never been interested in any of the others. Just never have been. And there are other flavors that have been seasonal that I have also tried of theirs that I have loved, loved, loved, loved. I really liked it when they brought the strawberry orange sunkiss. That has oh that became one of my new loves over this past summer that I tried. Glad I got to try it. And they just brought it back because people were begging for it because it was so good. I can attest to that. I I would have probably been one of those that would have said something. Now, did I make a post to Lonnie knew about one of their drinks that came out this summer? Yes, yes, I did. If you do not follow me on my social medias, you would not know that I kinda asked Alani if they could send me some more Sherbert Swirl, which they sadly denied. Boo. I love their orange sun kiss they had before that, really good, which was which came out before I graduated college. I enjoyed that very well. It was interesting how I tried that flavor. I tried it while at a stoplight about to turn to an internship I was doing at the time. I was at a light where I had the blinking yellow light, and I was like, hey, let me open this energy drink while I wait to turn. And I tried it. Yes, I'm a safe driver. Please don't judge. Sometimes you have to wait till you get a green arrow where I was turning. Just please respect. And I thought it was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it, have bought it several times since then. And that's how I feel about the strawberry orange as well, which they brought back. Sadly, I have not gotten a hold of that, but I did grab myself some more Sherbert Swirl when I heard they had brought it back close to the new year. I was so ecstatic. I grabbed me some more. I have not gotten to enjoy one yet, but I'm hoping to enjoy one soon. And I will probably stash up on it as well. I do stash up on my favorites. People think I'm crazy. But if you have your flavors and they only last a short period of time, you stock up. If you know, you know. And you try to make it last until they bring it back again. And so yeah, I tried getting more Sherbet Swirl on social media by the company, did not happen. And that is okay. Maybe one day they will reach out to me. Hopefully. A girl could only dream. But going into some of the supposed flavors I was hearing about from Alani on other social media platforms that I came across that I do not follow, were releasing supposed flavors that are coming. I can't remember all of them off the top of my head, but there were two that stuck out to me the most out of the whole list that I saw that was being repeated on different social medias. On a social media platform, I was looking at several different times over the course of two months, almost three, before they announced like literally a hint before New Year, the first flavor being cherry bomb. I thought this sounded like a really cool name for a drink. Cool, it'll be like their first drink that has a hint of spice to it. They would be competing with all the other energy drink companies and making something different and maybe gaining more sales if they add a henna kick to their drinks. That's what I was thinking is what it was gonna be. It was a cherry-flavored drink with cinnamon kind of like Mike and Ice. That's what I was thinking of was it's gonna be kind of like a liquid version of Mic and Ike's or the cinnamon bears. That is what I was truly thinking it was going to be, but it is not from since Alani did the official statement from their social media page and said, Hey, here's what this flavor actually is, which is it is their take on a cherry vanilla coke. So I am super interested to see how this goes. A lot of people who got PR packages have said stuff on social media already, it will already be out and probably sold out by the time this goes out. Yeah, it it's interesting to see a company try to take a classic soda and put it into an energy form. It's either gonna be a hit or miss in my eyes, because I would not take a cola and put it in energy drink form, but Alani is known for doing unique energy drink flavors. That has been the goal of their company for the longest time, if I remember correctly. Yeah, that's what they've been known to do is do interesting flavors. It even has the color of a cola from the pictures I have seen. I have not reposted about this flavor, it does not grab my interest, but their photos look phenomenal. Alani always does good when they are announcing new energy drinks that they have come out with. I thought the photos looked amazing that I love the color scheme for all of them. They have not I don't know how to explain it. It's hard to explain this. Of they just nailed it, it gives a retro vibe to it a little bit from how I perceived it. I I like it. I like the PR packages they've been giving, they're really cutesy. Yeah, they're really really cutesy. I don't really know if I'll get it. It will be probably a flavor that sells out, and it will I don't even know if it'll go to all the stores that Alani's are sold at. It'll be interesting to see because sometimes the specialty new additions come to all the grocery stores or they don't, or if they get it, it might be at one company's grocery store in a town and not the and not both, which I have learned some hard lessons about when trying to find things. I have tried looking for specialty items and had to go to the store multiple times just to find it. It's super duper hard. And I have gotten frustrated at it, but I usually don't give up if I'm determined to get stuff. What is the other drink that caught my eye that was talked about moving from cherry bomb? You'll have to wait and see if I get one. Yeah, moving on from cherry bomb. The other flavor that caught my interest, and I'm a big fan of this flavor in other drinks, by the way, which was there, there's a possibility they're coming out with a lime slush flavor. And lime is not a very sweet flavor compared to some of the other slush f slush fli flavors they have had in the past because pink slush is oh so sweet, it's like a pink star burst, if I could describe the pink slush flavor. So I'm interested to see the lime slush, and will it be extremely sweet or will it be like the blue slush and not so sweet? Or will it be a hint sour? Because lime is kind of in the middle of having an interesting flavor and being a hint sweet or a hint tart, and are they gonna be aiming to create a sour flavor drink? I am curious to know because they would probably be changing the scene of the energy drink world if they made a sour energy drink. I would pay to try it at least once and tell the difference of if you refrigerate it or not refrigerate it. I'd be really curious to know, but we'll have to wait and see if that is actually true or not. I predict this flavor coming out close to summer because they have made zero announcements about this flavor and it gives more summery vibes. So we'll have to wait and see if it's actually true or not, closer to summer. And what would I like to see Alani come up with since the announcement of this cherry bomb flavor? This is interesting because I have predicted a flavor that got talked about on a simple discussion podcast, which you guys should go listen to after you listen to this podcast of where I talked about that they should do a pumpkin spice flavor a year before the pumpkin spice energy drink came out. I predicted they would make it and they made it. I feel so interested to see if I make another prediction if they'll make it into a flavor. Because they're they like to work with a lot more fruity-ish flavors. Uh, since looking at all the drinks the company comes out with, I would like to see possibly like a strawberry kiwi that could be good, like a strawberry kiwi lemonade flavor, because they have not done any work with lemon or making some kind of lemonade. Because they did do the cherry limeade, which is very popular and they keep on the shelves year-round. So I would like to see a strawberry kiwi lemonade flavor that could be good, or just a strawberry lemonade as a possible flavor that they do. What's another good flavor? Something just lemony. I would like to see them do something with just lemon in general, that could be interesting because they have played with several other fruits, but I there's some I'm like, this could be interesting if they did something. And blueberry, I would like them to play with blueberry, that could also be very, very interesting as well because you could do a lot of making flavors with blueberry, especially for summer. People don't realize that is blueberries are pretty much consumed all summer, so yeah, I would like to see a blueberry flavor of some sort. It would also be interesting to see a pina colada flavor as well, because pina coladas are very popular during the summer months. It would just be interesting to see what flavors come out. I've just gave some predictions. I don't want to move towards fall flavors yet. I want to get through winter, spring, and summer before I start making my guesses if they'll come out with some interesting fall flavors. Tune tune in later this year to see what predictions I have for that. But I have made my guesses for winter, spring, and summer when it comes to Alani flavors. I feel like I might actually be wrong, but you never know. A girl can only hope because hey, I can. Moving away from drinks, I want to talk a little bit about what I am hearing about on the sc world of screens. Uh, I'm talking about film and TV. Mainly I'm gonna focus on film because I don't want to talk about TV shows just yet, because the TV shows I'm gonna talk about are having their own separate episodes coming up. Stay tuned. They are gonna be so good to listen to because I I'm anxiously awaiting just as much as you guys are, so stay tuned. What am I gonna say about films? This is gonna be a big year for films from what I've been hearing. Uh yeah, there's a lot of good films that should be coming out that I've been hearing. Hearing about. Of course, I am looking forward the most to the new Hunger Games film that is supposed to come out in November. I just barely finished the book that pertains to this film, which is the Hunger Games Sunrise on the Reaping. I'm looking so forward to that film. The book is so interesting. The trailer was so interesting. And supposedly they're gonna be bringing in some of the cast from the original Hunger Games films. That has been rumored several times on the social media platforms and pop culture news sites of what I've been reading. I am so excited to see this. It is coming out I think in November, if I remember correctly. I can't remember dates of when stuff is coming out. I'm looking through the this on Google as I am talking. Of course, the next film I'm also looking forward to, which had been in talk since 2024? Yes, 2024. I remember sitting in my internship and we were talking about who's gonna be playing Doctor Doom, and I was like, wait, I thought this person retired from the Marvel universe, and the person I am talking about that I thought had retired from the Marvel Universe was Robert Downey Jr. But he is coming back, he is coming back, and I'm so excited. He's going from being a good guy to a bad guy, and that he will be playing Doctor Doom. If you watch the Fantastic Four film that came out in 2025, then you know that Doctor Doom was showed close to the end of the film and and announced that the next Marvel film would be Avengers Doomsday, which I am super excited. I don't know if the trailer's been released for that film yet, but I am super excited once it gets released. And one film that I heard about that I did not know about, and I like this film series by the way, is Spider-Man. Spider-Man is coming out with another film with Tom Holland, which I think he's the better Spider-Man. Do not come at me. We all have our favorite Spider-Mans, and I am very excited about this Spider-Man film that is gonna come out. I feel like it's been forever since we have seen a Spider-Man film, and I am really excited. Haven't seen a trailer for that film either, so it will be super exciting to see that. Okay, and the next film that I did not know about until just recently that it has been slowly talked about, or I have been living in a Disney corner, it feels like, because I never thought this would become a live action film, and it hasn't really been out as long. Is Moana Yes Moana is getting its own film by the way, live action film, which is super exciting because I did not know about it that much by the way until just recently, and I was piddling through the cast as I was looking really fast as I'm recording this, and I'm glad I think the cast is interesting, but there is one person I'm glad they're playing the character they're playing, and I'm glad they got Dwayne Rock Johnson as Maui because he played a very good Maui in the original film, and it is awesome that they are getting him as Maui for the live action film, so I am excited to see all these characters come to life, and he's the only cast member that I know of for sure. There's probably gonna be pop-ups of some characters that I don't realize, but I'm so excited to see that. We're getting a sequel finally, and it's been years and years since the first one came out. So I am so excited to see what has changed since the first film with Anne Hathaway's character and Meryl Streep's character to be exact. Of you noticed in the sneak peek that was posted on Anne Hathaway's social media pages that Meryl Streep's character steps to the side as Anne Hathaway's character steps into the elevator. So that will be interesting to see who's in what position. It kind of gives some clues. Uh somebody might be in a higher position than Meryl Streep's characters since the last time we saw them in the first film, and there is a lot of returning characters to the film, which is super exciting to see. We have Ann Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, which is super exciting to see. Super duper exciting. And is there any more that catch my eye? Of course, Worthering Heights has caught a lot of people's attention because the book is considered a classic. I have never read it, I don't know if I'll read it, I don't even know if I'll see the film. Maybe I don't know. It'll be interesting, but it's coming out pretty soon. What else is there that I'm looking at? Please don't mind me looking at my phone. This is another film that has also been talks that is a sequel that we're finally get de uh decades later, and I just practically watched it almost two years ago, which is practical magic, and there's gonna be a practical magic too, and we have some characters returning from the original film, which is Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman who play the sisters, which I can't wait to hear the story about the sequel of have the sisters finally settled down, have they broken the curse? Because I don't remember if they broke the curse in the first film or not. Can't remember. Oh don't mind me looking through some mil like films. Oops, what was I feel like there's one more film that caught my attention that I was looking at, which I found interesting. I know it's a family film. I know I might not go see it, but it caught my attention, and this term has been thrown a lot lately in my life. Is they're making a film called Goat, which is which goat stands for the greatest of all time. I don't know where this film will go, it should be interesting. Hadn't heard about it until I was walking to go see Songsung Blue the just recently. I saw the poster for it or they had a cutout for it at the movie theater and I was like, what is this film? I'll watch the trailer at some point. But it sounds like an interesting film.
