Have you ever noticed the difference between people who vacation and those who travel? People who vacation, they can pack light: a swimsuit, sandals, some sunscreen. They want toes in the sand, a drink in their hand. Their goal is to unplug and feel refreshed. But a traveler, well, they tend to overpack. They need clothes for every type of weather, asked my husband. Heels and hiking boots. And they have an itinerary of experiences because they crave the journey. For me, travel helps me to sharpen my awareness and expand my worldview. What about you? Are you a traveler or are you a vacationer in life? This winter, my husband and I decided to gift my parents a five-day national park road trip. My six foot three dad, day one, claims shotgun, and I realize I'm gonna have to sit in the back with my mother with a limited view of the landscape. But I quickly realized that instead of having two narrow windows to look through, I actually have five windows. I can see farther, I can catch side views, I have a perspective on every angle. And isn't that what it's like when we're going through our hardest seasons? In the darkest moments is when we have the clearest view of ourselves and the deepest perspectives in life. For many years, I felt like I was sitting in the front seat narrow view of my life. I was longing to be seen and heard, searching for my voice. I was barking my needs and pushing for attention, and I felt ignored by people, systems, and myself. I ignored my body's whispers until they became screams. And that really hit home for me because I was the healthy kid. I was the athlete that never sat still. And then I got mono at 17, and it completely changed the landscape of my body. I had strep throat all the time, my perfect teeth gone, gut issues flared, the doctors kept saying, eat more fiber. They were managing my symptoms without any real results. At 29, I had an emergency appendectomy, and at 40, colorectal cancer. My body was screaming. I wasn't listening, and neither was the systems meant to help me. But here's the truth: healing isn't about managing systems, symptoms, it's about restarting from the root. For me, my experience with traditional medicine was that it was patching holes rather than really listening to the flood of symptoms. So I had to find my voice, advocate for myself, and build my own roadmap so that I could find the root cause, I could fix my broken metabolism, and heal my body from the inside out. So today I want to share with you my three critical steps of my Art of the Restart Academy. Number one, follow the Choose Me Trinity. Healing starts with you. It's up to you to uncover the root cause issues in your relationships with God, others, and yourself. And for many clients, they feel really uncomfortable prioritizing their own needs, but it's just like that oxygen mask on the plane. You've got to put yours on first in order to help somebody else. So in the Art of the Restart Academy, we dig into those root causes so that you're able to start to heal from the inside out. Number two is learn to break the step start cycle. And this is the science of restarting. In the 80s, we used these bulky paper road maps. It was so easy to miss the turn and get lost. And by the 90s, we had the triptych. It was a highlighted view, personalized, total game changer. And now what do we have? Google Maps, right? Real-time routing, no guesswork. The right tool makes the journey smoother and gets you to the right place. And your health is no different. For some of you, you are wearing a backpack full of chronic health issues, bloating, hormonal imbalances, and unresolved grief and trauma. You feel ignored by traditional medicine. And what I'm here to say is you're not failing, you're just following an old roadmap. Number three is enroll in the university of adversity. This is the art, the pain to purpose. Cancer for me showed me that adversity wasn't my enemy, it was my greatest teacher. And in the Art of the Restart Academy, I will be your Sherpa. I will guide you using multi-therapeutic approaches, helping you to open detox pathways. We're going to use strategic diet and fasting cycles and help you through a collaborative coaching program and community with a holistic perspective to get that healing deep from the inside out. The reason my logo is a butterfly is it is because it symbolizes transformation. The butterfly's transformation takes place in her darkest moments. And to get out of the darkness, she struggles by flapping her wings. She cuts a hole into the cocoon so she can emerge out and she can get on a new path. My cancer and my autoimmune struggles were my cocoon. What are yours? When I got sick in the 1990s, about one in nine Americans showed autoimmune markers, and today it's closer to one in six, with 60% battling chronic illness, and obesity rates have tripled. Environmental metabolic factors drive up our insulin, increase inflammation, and contribute to metabolic syndrome, making you feel like you are chasing health with no end in sight. If you haven't heard that 80 is the new 40, then I want you to meet my client, Miss Cheryl. At 79, she felt like she was never gonna lose weight, get off of medication, or sleep again. She tried it all. After five months of the Art of the Restart, she's down 35 pounds off of blood pressure meds and finally stopped feeling exhausted and got her confidence back. And that's the power of the Art of the Restart Academy: ditching, managing symptoms for real healing. My clients call me Tracy the Hope Dealer. So let's start with a 20-minute free clarity call. My promise is I will meet you where you're at, but won't keep you there. Let's turn your restart into the greatest journey of your life.
