Hola, hola mi jefas, hello my lady bosses. Welcome back to La Jefa Unfiltered. I’m so happy you’re here.
Wherever you’re listening today—in your car, on your morning walk, folding laundry, meal prepping, or simply taking a few minutes for yourself—I want to thank you for choosing to spend this time with me.
Today’s episode is one that’s been on my heart because I think so many women are tired.
Not just physically tired.
Mentally tired.
Emotionally tired.
Spiritually tired.
We’re carrying responsibilities, expectations, guilt, heartbreak, careers, children, aging parents, relationships, and sometimes we’re carrying dreams that haven’t happened yet.
Somewhere along the way, healing became another job.
We tell ourselves we have to journal every day.
Meditate every morning.
Exercise an hour.
Drink a gallon of water.
Read ten self-help books.
Heal every childhood wound.
Forgive everyone.
And somehow still smile while doing it.
No wonder we’re exhausted.
What if healing didn’t have to feel like another full-time job?
What if healing felt comforting?
What if healing felt peaceful?
What if your healing era became the most beautiful season of your life?
That’s what we’re talking about today.

No mask, no perfections, just real life, honest conversations, and empowerment. Sin filtro. So take a breath, take space, and walk boldly. Because La Hefa isn't just a title, it's who you are. Let's get unfiltered. Hello my lady bosses. Welcome back to La Jefa Unfiltered. I am so happy you're here today. Wherever you are listening today, in your car, in your morning walk, folding laundry, meal prepping, or simply taking a few minutes for yourself, I want to thank you for choosing to spend time with me. Today's episode is one that has been on my heart because I think many women are tired, not just physically tired, mentally tired, emotionally tired, and spiritually tired. We're carrying responsibilities, guilt, heartbreak, careers, children, aging parents, relationships, and sometimes we're carrying dreams that haven't happened yet. Somewhere along the way, healing became another job. We tell ourselves we have to journal every day, meditate every morning, exercise for an hour, drink a gallon of water, read 10 self-help books, heal every child wound, forgive everyone, and somehow still smile while doing it. No wonder we're exhausted. What if healing didn't have to feel like another full-time job? What if healing felt comforting? What if healing felt peaceful? What if your healing era became the most beautiful season of your life? That's what we're talking about today. I think many of us believe healing only counts when it's painful. We think if we're crying, processing, struggling, and constantly digging into our past, then we're doing the work. Yes, healing includes difficult conversations. It includes uncomfortable truths. It includes grief. But healing also includes laughter. It includes joy. It includes dancing in your kitchen while making dinner. It includes watching the sunset. It includes taking yourself out for coffee. Healing is also learning how to enjoy your life again. You deserve that. No, it doesn't mean pretending everything is perfect. It doesn't mean ignoring your problems. It doesn't mean spending money you don't have. It means becoming intentional. Instead of rushing through life, you begin noticing it. You stop say saving happiness for one day. One day when you lose the weight. One day when you meet someone. One day when your kids grow up. One day when you work gets easier. One you decide that today deserves beauty too. Rules often make us feel guilty. Rituals make us feel cared for. Maybe your morning routine, it's opening the blinds before looking at your phone. Maybe it's making coffee slowly instead of rushing. Maybe it's reading a devotional, listening to common music, lighting a candle, stretching for five minutes. None of these things are life-changing by themselves. But together, they remind your nervous system that you're safe, that you're that you matter, that this day belongs to you too. Look around your home. Does it feel peaceful? Or does it constantly remind you of everything left undone? You don't need expensive furniture. You don't need a Pinterest perfect house. Maybe healing starts by making the bed, opening a window, buying yourself flowers from the grocery store, putting on clean sheets, playing music while you clean, keeping one little corner, keeping one little corner that belongs just for you. Our surroundings influence our mood more than we realize. Your home should be a place where your heart can exhale, not an Instagram version of life, your life. If you're a busy mom, your routine will look different. If you're caring for aging parents, your routine will look different. If you're working a full-time job, your routine will look different. Stop comparing your healing journey. Ask yourself, what actually helps me feel myself again? Maybe that's meal prepping, walking after dinner, calling a friend, reading before bed, saying no, drinking more water. Whatever fills your cup deserves a place in your routine. Some of my favorite moments aren't vacations. They're ordinary. Coffee before sunrise, watching the ocean, fresh sheets, cooking while music plays, a quiet drive, laughing until my stomach hurts. Healing teaches us that ordinary moments become extraordinary when we're fully present. One lesson I wish more women believed is this. Joy does not have to be earned. You don't have to finish everything before rest. You don't have to be perfect before you're worthy of peace. You don't have to wait until life is easier before you allow yourself happiness. Buy the flowers, wear the dress, use the nice dishes, burn the candle, take a picture, celebrate Tuesdays. Life isn't only made of milestones, it's made of moments. Sometimes healing follows break heart heartbreak. Sometimes healing follows heartbreaks. Sometimes it follows divorce. Sometimes it follows losing someone. Sometimes it's losing yourself. If that's where you are, please know this. You are not behind. You are rebuilding, and your rebuilding takes time. Brick by brick, day by day. Some small choices eventually become new life. Pause. Ask yourself. What makes me feel calm? What drains my energy? What makes me feel safe? What version of myself am I becoming? What can I let go of? What tiny act of kindness can I offer myself today? Write your answers down. Come back to them often. I want you to create one new healing ritual, not 10, just one. Something simple enough that you'll actually enjoy doing it. Then protect it. Protect that time the same way you'll protect an important appointment because you are important. Friend, Mi Hefa, my Lady Bosses, if no one has told you lately, I just want to say I'm proud of you. I'm proud of every step you've taken, every boundary you've set, every tear you've cried, every time you've chosen to begin again. Healing isn't about becoming someone new, it's about coming home to yourself. So this week, romanticize your healing era. Notice the sunrise. Take the walk. Drink your coffee slowly. Listen to your favorite song. Call someone you love. Rest without guilt. Remember that healing doesn't have to feel heavy every single day. Sometimes healing looks like choosing peace over pressure, choosing grace over perfection, choosing yourself one ordinary moment at a time. Thank you so much for spending this time with me on La Hifa Unfiltered. If this episode encouraged you, please share it with another woman who needs this reminder today. Until next time, keep showing up for yourself, keep giving yourself grace, and remember, you do not have to earn your peace. You simply have to choose it. I'll see you on the next episode.
