Apostle Al's Podcast of the Knowledge of God's Word

Apostle Bible Quiz#58 (1)

Alfred Simmons

In two Timothy chapter two, verse 15, the word of God says, study to show thy self approve unto who, man or God. Of course it's God. Why though? Because. Everything in the word of God chose a principle. Today we just gonna have some fun. We're gonna ask some questions. Y'all gonna answer if you know it, if you not, I'm gonna give you the answer anyway, but it's just principles, understanding people, name, time, dates. I don't know where it's going. It's just going as we start off something simple. Name the three sons of Adam. Three sons of Adam Wayne able to himself, he able to assess. Now, the principle behind that is Hayne kills Abel. He kills the shepherd. Inces out a whole new line. Fuck. That's the whole word of God right there. Evil people, good people got killed and then the savior comes to restore everything. But let's go a little deeper now, but why though? All of these things have a reason. We're gonna go something simple. There's a lady in the word of God named Ruth, who is her mother-in-law. Who is Ruth mother-in-law? Mm-hmm. See, we remember it's Naomi, but there's another name. She said, don't call me Naomi'cause that's a blessed name. What's the name? She said to call me, call me Myra. I'm miserable. I'm not blessed. No more isn't that some beautiful things? How you think about yourself, not realizing she's just she, she's gonna give, she's gonna be the nurturer of. The king father. The king, well, the king grandfather. Let's move on. When the, when the spies came into Jericho, there's a lady that helped hide them. What's her name? There's a lady that hide her. Hide them. Hide the. What is her name? Hmm? Hold on to that. We're gonna come back to that.'cause you gonna remember later. Now we moving on and we giving a little deeper. Now everybody know Moses and his brother and sister. But do anybody know how old Myra was? Aaron was, and Moses was in reference to years. They, they are certain amount of years apart and it's exact. What is the difference between their ages and who's older? See how powerful this is with understanding. The oldest is Miriam. He's exactly three years older than Aaron, who's three years older than Moses, who could do this, but God. But let's go on and let's go a different direction. In the word of God, Jesus is shown writing on three different things. Name them. What did Jesus write on? We never think about it. It happens and we read it all over through the word of God, but just don't think about it. When he is in the boat, he is riding. He's not rowing, so the boat is one. We know he rides in the Jerusalem on the donkey. That's two, but the other one, most people don't know because it's spiritual. He's in the cloud. He rides on the cloud. If you realize that's how Moses came. When Moses and Ilog came, they came in the cloud. But since we talk about the cloud, we talk about transfiguration, who's the three people that went up to the mountain with still with him? There was three people that went up with him. What's the three people? Who's the three people? What's their name? We know they disciple, but who was it, Thomas? No, of course not. Was it Levi? No, no, not nephew. Who was the three? Peter? James the son, Zedi, and John, his brother. Now the three is significant because of the number three, but now let's take a little turn that we already got that. Let's take a little turn. There's a man in the New Testament that saw Jesus. His way to Damascus. What's his name before the name change? What was his name before the name changed, isn't it wonderful Holiday, the Lord that change our name. Can we see it or we read it? But sometimes we don't really give a deep how deep it really is. His name is Saul. Now, when we are reading the New Testament, guess what? You never hear nobody call him Saul. Why? Because they know him as Paul. Wow. You'll never have SA wrote the 14 books of the New Testament. Never hear it. They'll say Paul, but never saw name change. Let's take a little spin. Everybody knows about Abraham and Lot, but here's the twist. What do Abraham and Lot have in common in, in reference to relatives? What does Abraham and Lot. Have in common according to relatives. I'm gonna even help you out a little even more than that. Abraham brother and Lot Father is the same person. What's his name? Abraham Brother and Lot Father is the same person. What's his name? Hmm. Harran and since we already got Harran, that's one of the brothers, who's the next brother to, to represent the number three? We talking about Abraham, which was Abram then and Harran, but that's another brother. What's his name? Hmm. His brother's name is Ne Ho. Now, when you look in the, when you look at the news today, you see horrifying pictures and images of not only murders, but people being raped, molestation, all these things where the God still speaks of. Which one or by name is Jacob's daughter that's been raped? What's her name? What's her name? That's been raped? He is not mentioning a lot, but it's important. Hmm. Her name was Dana. Now here's why we are doing this. Because when you are studying the word of God, there are so many details in the word of God that most time it gets overlooked. We can talk about Elijah. And how he prayed that it won't rain, but how long did it not rain? How many years was it? Or was it even years? Was it months or was it days? But it was exact for a specific reason. Three and a half years when the last time you saw you went a year without a rain. You how crazy that is. But for three and a half years it did not rain. Why? See people, people will call it. Says it didn't rain for three and a half years, but why? It was to show us a bigger picture. And since we there, we gonna stay in three and a half years for real. For for a second. The two olive branch, which we know is gonna be mostly largest, that's gonna come, how long will they prophesize? I'm giving you answer. Three and a half years. How long was Jesus ministry again? Three and a half years. Why now? Because it's principles all through the word of God, so we can get a spiritual understanding today in this season. For thousands of years, people have never pulled this together, but now it is now being pulled together. Why? Because it's time. This is the time that God had ordained to happen. Now we've read and we've heard, and we are getting a deeper understanding, but here's the question. Who was the people that worshiped Jesus when he came into Jerusalem? Who worshiped him? Was it the whole city? Was it just his disciples? The 12 who worshiped him? Thousands upon of thousands of people who have trusted him and believe in him, they did the worshiping, the religious people never worshiped. They wanted them to stop. Name the 12 Disciples of Jesus. Name, the 12 Disciples of Jesus. Simple. Everybody know Peter. Now if I ask you who is his father, most people would know, but his father's name is Jonah. That's why it's Peter, the son of Jonah and Andrew, his brother, which makes Jonah the father of both of them, they brothers. Then James, the son as Deputy and his brother John. Four. Philip and Beth Amu Thomas. We know because it's the twin Matthew, which is Levi. Simon is Zilo. James the lesser, because James the, the greater would be James, the son of Ze. But this is the lesser and. Liberia. Which is Thaddeus. Which is Judas. The same person. He has three names. We didn't cover Simon and Zilo and Judas Ria, the 12 disciples of Jesus. Of course, Judas betrayed Jesus. But we going on. Who's Judah's father? Judas. Ria, who's his father? Hmm, Simon, we know Simon the leper, that's his father. Why is all these things tied in together now? Are you ready for heaven? We gonna go there and we, everybody knows Jesus. Parents is Joseph and Mary. What do they have in common? If you follow their line all the way back, they have the same thing in common. They both share the same grandfather all the way down, which would be David. That makes both of them royalty. So their union king marries the princess. Joseph is the really a king, and they get married. They're having a king who could put that together. But God. But now we're gonna take a twist. We're gonna take a twist. We talk about moral excellence. Mary was a virgin. Now watch how heavy this is there. She's willing to have a child. Without understanding how it's gonna happen, here's the twist. She's willing to be thrown to death because that's the, that's the crime of a woman being pregnant without being married. Who does this by God? Now we just named the 12 Disciples. Now they're going to be the leaders of the 12 Tribes of Israel. Name the 12 Tribes of Israel. These things we don't think about, but if we are believers, guess what? They're gonna be our leaders. We know them, so we know Reuben is the oldest, then Simeon, then Levi, then Judah, which is the bloodline for Christ. Lin Iska, Ashler, Dan, dad, Nely, Joseph and Benjamin. Who knows this, we have to know it and we have to understand it. Now, the most people, if they're reading the word of God from Genesis Revelation, they think it's written like a book, not so. It spread out hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of years apart, but when they all come together, it looks like a book. So as we move in to a little understanding, we're gonna deal with a man that most people don't give no thought to. He said. But we'll go get some understanding of how important it is. Most people never think about Mark, how is Mark writing a gospel? Well, he did see Jesus now, but how is he writing a gospel? You never hear his name called Apostle Mark. He's not a disciple of Christ. What makes him worthy to write the word of God? Who is he? You see how, see how just not even thinking about it. Then it comes in, he says, man, that, that, that's true. Mark parents was supportive of Christ. So what he learned. From his parents and watching as a child gives him firsthand account of a lot of the things that Christ did. So he giving us a perspective of who Christ is from a young version, from young eyes, John. On the other side is giving us a perspective of Christ from spiritual eyes. Matthew, we know that the tax collector, he given us an idea of who Christ is from a Jewish standpoint. Well, what about Luke? Now, Luke could have possibly meet Christ. I doubt it, but he could. So my question is, how did he learn about Christ through Paul, which we know is all he is a disciple of Paul, not Jesus. Now, here's where you would scratch your head at. Well, how come most of the people who write in the gospel. Is writing. Writing about what Jesus did because, and this is where our society is. The alone, miss the principle when he ask questions. Some of the things that's written, it can't be in question. He has the Holy Spirit who's doing the writing. Luke. By the Holy Spirit though. So that's how he sees everything. And I know people, people be like, no, hold up now. Come on now. That don't make any sense. Okay, not a problem. Let's go back to the Old Testament. Let's go to the law. Moses is born in Exodus, but yet he wrote Genesis. How can he write it? Everybody in Genesis is dead. But yet he wrote it through the Holy Spirit, just like he saw the temple in heaven. Just like he saw the A of the covenant in heaven and he got the design how to bill it. Same way he gets the information about what happened in Genesis, who can do that? But God last to, and we going to shut this down for the day. Now, we didn't mention a lot of people from Genesis to Revelation, but here's the one that puts it all together. Name the one person other than Jesus Christ that was born with the Holy Spirit. He didn't have a choice. He was chosen for this mission. What's his name? Can't even make this stuff up. John the Baptist. And who is John the Baptist parent. The significance of being them, being their parents. Zacharias and Elizabeth, who's Elizabeth? The daughter of Aaron. So when you follow the line down from Aaron, you're going to get to Elizabeth. Spiritual, the word of God really is how all of this start to make sense. I see things in pictures, but as I, as as I'm talking, I'm not looking at no Bible. I just know and see it like a picture. It all makes perfect sense to me. Now, and this, this is a gift. It's not me. I can't remember my classmate names. I definitely can't remember their face. How can I remember all of these things? Yes, holy Spirit, that's all. I don't even take no credit for it. That's why people have a hard time because you pretty much can't fool me When it comes to the word of God, it makes sense to me. That's why most people don't realize their body is the temple of God. He says. But most people say, well, I'm a temple. I'm the temple of God. No, you're not. If you don't have the Holy Spirit, you're not the temple of God. You are only the temple of God when you have the Holy Spirit, because now the Spirit is dwelling in you. That makes you the temple of God. That's the word for today. A lot of people think they know the word, but very few people really understand.
