Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Oh, we got a word today. Now we got a word today. Now what I want to do this morning is I wanna talk to someone about me. I know you says, well, why would Apostle Al Simmons have somebody else to tell about him? Well, life is life. I can tell you all day how great I am, or nah, nah, nah, it's not about me, it's about what do somebody else see about me? Okay, so now let's get into this. This word right here, this word of life. You know, a lot of times we say, and we do things. Why are we doing it? What is it about? Well, I have this great man on the phone, business owner, legend in his own right, football player, softball player, you, you name it. He's done it. I ain't even got no question Dexter Graham, but he is. We wanna talk to him a little bit about my testimony. His testimony. Why do you listen to Pastor Al Simmons? Mr. Dexter Graham, business owner. Legend. Thank you, rev. Thank you. Uh, well, good morning. First of all, you know, I, I, I, uh, remember being a, a young man in my late twenties, um, laying in my, in my bed reading the word of God, you know, going to church after church, mega churches, small churches, and, and wondering why there was no change. I wondering why there was, there was no change and, and I'm reading the word of God. Well, one day I was happened to hear this man, this, this man, and I was speaking of Apostle Al and the things that I were, that I was reading in the word of God, he was saying. It made sense. It made sense that what I read, he read and he, he was walking it. He wasn't just talking it, he was walking it. And so I began to listen to him because it wasn't contradicting the Bible. It was going with what the word of God said. So how long have you been listening to this Apostle Al Me? You're talking about it, how long you think it's been now, as I stated, I, I was in my, my late twenties and I'm a little bit over 50 now. That's a long time then. It's been a minute, man. It's been So now, so as you said that, and you, you know, you acknowledged. I, I'm walking what I'm talking'cause that don't happen a lot today, but why did the word penetrate to the point where you see change? So as, as I, as I was reading the Bible, I, I didn't have any, uh, real spiritual understanding, a, a spiritual connection. And there's an event that happened, um. Yes, I read the Bible. I read the Bible, and I read the word of God. And I, and I, I govern my life accordingly here. But how quickly we forget, there's an accident that I was, uh, outside on the patio and I was messing with a smoker, an electric smoker, and there was a malfunction on that smoker. Well, uh, while we liked that smoker, it sort of. It sorta kind of, uh, burst in the flames. Well, my hand, I had about second, third degree burns on my hand. You could actually see the mark today where my vein was scorched and it left an imprint on my, on my hand. So after, after it happened about maybe five or 10 minutes, I called Rev and I was, I was sitting on the couch. I remember it clearly. I was sitting on the couch and I was telling Reverend. Well, what is paying here? I explained to him what happened. I think I might have sent him the video, but I was explaining to him what happened immediately, immediate. He said, well, we would start talking about fire. And then he, he immediately went into the word, well, what you need to do is start praising and, and realize what's in you. I found me a, a nice corner of my house. I turned on some spiritual music and I started calling the name of God like Christ and I started worshiping and within minutes, within minutes, the pain went away. Another reason why I listen to Apostle A, because he brings the word, he tells you not what you want to hear or what you need to hear to pacify you. He tells you what the word of God says. You know, like most people in this world, the world could be, it could be a tough moment, but when you got parents and siblings. And then you got a relationship with a spiritual person. What is the difference? I mean, just so other people can really grab a hold. Uh, what is the difference? You know, I have mothers and brothers and sisters, and we don't really have a relationship other than, you know, we talk, we get together every now and then, but it's not a real relationship. What is the difference between a relationship with your family and me and you? As a family? Well, the, the word family, um, this is one instance. I, uh, my wife and I, we, um, had to, we were about to move and everybody was busy. There was nobody that could help on this particular moment. Um. No, no one could make the trip. You know, my family were, they lived probably about an hour away. Um, my friends had, uh, helped me pack my truck up and we were moving about an hour away. And I just mentioned, I mentioned it, I don't recall going into detail, but I mentioned it. To Apostle Al that, hey, I, uh, my wife and I were moving and when I get there, um, it's just gonna be her and I, we, we gonna unload the truck. 13 hours away is, is how far Apostle Al lived. And with a, without question. Without hesitation. He says, you need me, I'll be there. Him and his wife drove 13 hours to help me move. Now, I don't know if you guys get that. Friends and family didn't drive an hour. He drove 13 hours and didn't ask for anything in return. He said, you need me. I'm there. And he was, I known to be a man of his word. Man, you brought back memories. You know, I kind of forgot the story. See, you mentioned it. It's just the things we do for each other family. But there's no different than what you did for me when I was moving. You got on the road and came and helped me move. This is what I want people to start experiencing, not what people won't do. What will people do? Not the negative, what's the positive? I can go on and on, but I just wanted you to give your testimony because it's truly more of a blessing to me than I really feel that it is for you, having you in my life. So as we continue, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your time. Thank you for your testimony. You know, that's why I call it my testimony because my testimony is for me, but you just gave your testimony, which is my testimony for you. So my brother a piece. Continue doing what you do, and I can't wait to see what God is gonna continue doing because me and you, we struggled and now we are at this place where why don't everybody else experience this loving and this joy.
