Every person has a mind and a heart. I want you to get that now. Every person that's living has a mind and a heart. The problem today is we're gonna identify good and bad people. We talking real now. See, for years I used to wonder, I said, Lord, they go to church, but they don't have the heart of God. How come? And he started showing me in the scripture about people in their hearts and what God says about a person heart. Ah, we talking real now. I want, if you don't get anything else, I want you to get this understanding now, I want you to look at any one person. Just pick a person. I don't care who it is. You can pick a friend, you can pick a wife, you can pick a husband, you can pick a mother, you can pick a father. It does not matter who you pick, but pick one person, and I want you to evaluate that person according to the word. Now, that one person now. Do they have the heart of God? Now you are gonna know that because Jesus says you'll know them by their fruits or we talking real stuff now. So he says, you shouldn't have to figure out if they are for me or if gives me. Now he calls us a tree. Because we produce fruit, but today we are dealing with the heart of a person. We would love for them to have a clean heart'cause that's what God want us to have. But everybody got a heart, and now we are going to break through some things and understand how God sees a person. We are talking about the motive. A reason for doing something. People got a lot of reason for doing things, but what are the motives? This will tell you where this stands. Let's get ready into Word now. Go to the Book of Psalms. Psalm 51, verse 10. Psalm 51, verse 10. He said, create in me a clean heart. Oh God. Renew a right spirit within me. Now that person, oh, that person's solid. That person's character is solid. We are talking about a clean heart. Now we're talking about a clean heart. Now get this. Now everybody don't have it because it's a gift from God that a person hearts clean. We're talking about somebody saved now. See there's a lot of people going around and try to perpetrate that. They're saved by going, by being religious. Jesus said you'll be able to see through that. Why He said the character will not line up because the character that I have now. I wanna, I wanna do something for you now, but I wanna bless you. Now, there are people that have a good hearts and still not safe. Wow. They do the right thing. Not saved. Now, I know you're saying to yourself, hold up now. How can they do the right thing, but still don't be saved? Savior is a choice. I've gotta be willing to follow Christ to be saved. I don't have to be willing to follow Christ to have a good heart. I can have a good heart just by, I'm a good person, but I'm still not safe. Now I'm gonna flip that. I can be an evil person and still not saved because if I'm gonna fall, if I'm saved, I can't be evil. It can't work. I know y'all saying y'all self, man, this is some good stuff. Or it goes get even better because the word cannot lie. Let's go. Let's go. Okay, now let's drop down a little bit. Let's go Ezekiel. Let's go to Ezekiel, Ezekiel 36, because you know which one of your friends is evil. We are not playing no games with this. You know exactly who are evil. You know which one of your children are evil, but you also know which ones are good. Now, watch this now, because if you get this, you really start to grab a hold of. How powerful this really is in Ezekiel 36. I want you, let's just deal with, with verse 26 real quick. Well verse 26 real quick, A new heart. Also, will I give you, this is God talking now. He says, when you got me, I'm going to give you a new heart. Why? Because the heart you got will never do. The heart you are born with will never do so. Your new birth will bring a new heart. Okay, let me keep on going now and a new spirit will I put within you and I will take away the horny heart out of your flesh and I will give you a heart, a flesh. See, there's a lot of people got that stony heart mean nothing bothers them. We are talking about that clean heart, that new heart that God will give those believers because he also giving them that spirit. Oh, we done messed up now we done got in the word today. Now, okay. I know you're saying to yourself, well, come on. I never heard nothing like this before. He says, he goes, I can only even get deeper. Let's go to fucking Jeremiah. Jeremiah 17. Now I, I want you to pay attention now because one thing about the word of God, it is real. The problem is most people, they really don't care. They don't, they don't care about the word of God. All they want to do is look good in front of people. No, we talking about really researching the heart. Now, this is what God does. He says, I search the heart now. So in Jeremiah 17, we're going to deal with verse seven through 18. Why? Because it's a lot to pack this. There's a lot, a lot in this, and I want you to get an understanding of this clean heart now. So watch what it says in verse seven as it starts. Blessed is the man. That trust is in the Lord. Whoa. First thing, first you gotta trust who in the Lord and who Hawk is who? Hawk the Lord is. Now I want you to have me because this is where, just'cause you going after the word. Just because you running after Jesus doesn't mean everybody else will back. Even though you say to yourself you can't, no, just because you running. Doesn't mean everybody else will. And you don't say to yourself, because I, I'm telling you'cause I did it. I used to scratch my head. I said, Lord, why don't they run after you like me? He said, they don't have a heart for me. Well, let me go on. I'm gonna give this to you now I'm give it to you. Then boy, he shall be what? As a tree. Oh, remember we were talking about now it says trees produce fruit. I don't care who you are, you can be evil. You still considered a tree? Why you just gonna produce bad fruits? That mean your character is gonna be bad. If you are good that mean and your godly, your fruit is gonna be good. It's not complicated, but we going on now for he shall be as a tree planted by the waters. Now watch this now. And that proceed is out of the, out of her roots by the river and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green. We talking, we we talking about substance. Now this person got character. This person got the water like the water of the river, but it's the water of the word. You show me somebody who following Christ with a great heart and I can show you somebody that knows some word now, the word of God and shall not be careful in the year of drought. That's where we at now. He says, don't be careful. You gonna be blessed in the season. Neither shall cease from yielding fruits. Back to what we were talking about again. He said, your tree, you're going to yield Godly fruit. The heart. Oh, oh, we be back to the heart. Now the heart is deceitful above all things. It's not the mind, the mind is being driven by the conscious of the heart. Uh, lemme say that again. Now the mind is being driven by the heart. Let on, let me keep on now and now watch this. Go and. Desperately wicked, who can know it? You know how many people get in relationship with a person, with a bad heart, with an evil heart, and then they're trying to figure out why? Why can't they love me? Why can't I? Because they got a bad heart. They don't have no heart of love. They don't have no heart of compassion. That's why a bum can walk by and it doesn't bother them. Let me come on now. We don't, we we didn't step in. Now we just gotta keep on going now. But watch what he says in verse 10. I, that's God, I the Lord. Search what? I search the heart. I try to reign. Even to, it wasn't a even to give every man according to his way and according to the fruit of his doing, he said, I know what you are and I'm going to give you according to who you are. Why do you think I expect to be blessed? Why? I know my heart. I'm not trying to be deceitful. I'm not trying to rob or lie from my neighbors. I wanna be a good neighbor, not just to the people who next door to me, to everyone I come in contact with. But we going on now as the pot ridge straight sit and the pot ridge sit on the egg and hatches them. Not watch this now. So he that get as riches and not buy right. Wow. Shall leave them in the midst of his days and at his end shall be a fool. He has a lot of people. They're gonna be very well off. They're going to have extremely, plenty riches, he said, but the, but they ain't got it the right way. Got it by doing right. He said, don't worry, once they're dead, they're gonna be called a fool. Well, they're gonna be called a fool before, but he's showing you the mark. Well, let me go on. I'm telling you. So in verse 12, a glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary all Lord, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee. Shall be ashamed. Oh, lemme say that again. Now. All these countries, now that's forsaken in earth. Don't worry about that. God got that. He said they shall be ashamed and they that apart from me, shall be written in the earth because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living water. The living water we know is a word. See, when we see word, we represent water because it sustains us. It says, heal me, oh Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved for thou aunt my praise. Come on now. I know sometimes you, you'll scratch your head and you be like, Lord, they're not getting it. He said, yeah, but the scripture is being fulfilled. He said, Lord, in line. Yeah, but the scripture's being fulfilled. He said, don't think you could get a pass. He said, if you connected to me and they hit me, they're going to hate you. But it goes on. It goes on now. Watch what it says. Behold, verse 15. They say unto me, where is the word of the Lord? Let it come. Now, you know how people always trying to tell the Lord what to do? Always have a doubt. Okay? Okay, we talking, but a clean heart. He'll give us now a new heart. Hearts as for me, I have not hasted. From being, watch this now a pastor to follow thee. Neither have I desired to willful days. Thou know is that which came out of my lips was right before thee. Now what? You hear me now See when you know what comes outta your lip is right before God. You are not worried about how people perceive it. I'm gonna say that again now because see, they're going to hate you anyway. If they don't have the heart of God, that's not gonna be a shock to you. Well, let me go on. Let me get it down. Now, watch this there, but not a terror unto me. He said, now be not a terror unto me. Thou aren't my hope in the day of evil. He didn't say evil not coming, he said, but that's my hope God. Let them be confounded. That persecute me. Persecute coming. Stop trying to avoid it. Let them be dismayed, but let not my, let not me be dismayed. Bring unto them the day of evil. Describe them with double destruction. Oh, we talking now, we talking about a clean heart. He says, Lord, give me a new heart, because you have to have that. Now. I know you're saying, I know you're saying to yourself. Man, I've never heard such revelation. Uh, I guess more, it's more, it's more go The book of Hebrews. Hebrews chapter four. Hebrews chapter four, verse 12. Hebrews chapter four, verse 12. Now, watch now because this is how powerful the word of God is. For the word of God. Oh, we just talking now for the word of God is quick and powerful and shoppers than a twoedged sword piercing evil to the dividing. Watch this down as under a soul and spirit and of the joint and marrow. And is a discerner of the thought and the intent of the heart. See, that's people problem they got in their mind because they heart is evil and they're always trying to deceive other people that trick other people. But he said, the Lord knows your thoughts now. Well, let's go on now. Let's go on. Let's go to Proverbs 4 23. Proverbs 4 23. You know why I love Proverbs so much? Because Proverbs shows your character. Proverbs shows your character. Yeah. That's why a lot of people don't like it, but Proverbs is heavy. So in, so in in proverb, verse four, verse 23, he says, keep thy heart with all diligence. For out of it are the issues of life. When people cursing, they're speaking from their hearts. When people are lying, they're lying from their heart. Their actions, whether it's adultery or murder or stealing, it's from their heart. Your behavior is being driven by the character of your heart. A lot of people want people to be godly when they don't have a godly heart. That makes no sense. I expect evil people to be evil. Why? It makes sense. When I go to the zoo, I expect the animals to be animals. Why? We need to lock'em up because they're not going to act right according to our society. If you want'em to be free, let'em free, and then'em do what they normally do. Kill. Let me go on, I'm, I'm gonna go on now. Proverbs three five. Proverbs chapter three. Verse five, trust in the Lord with all thy heart. Okay, let, let me break this down now'cause I, I think I need to bless somebody today. Now, wouldn't it be great for somebody to love you with all they heart? Who wants somebody to love them with part of their heart? Who want their children to love them with part of their heart, who want a parent to love them with part of their heart. The word says, trust in the lovers with all thy heart and lead, not unto thy own understanding. What do we do? We lean our own understanding. There are people, they know nothing about the word of God, or they know so little that they're trying to figure it out. He said, lean not to your own understanding. Why? Because your understanding gonna be wrong the way you think is wrong. Okay. Okay. Okay. Hold on, hold on. Let's go to Psalms 34 verse 18. Psalms 34, verse 18. We talking about a clean heart. He said, renewing me a new heart. Don't. No, don't leave that the old hearted me. Gimme a new heart. So in Psalms 34, verse 18, it says the Lord. Is not unto them that are of a broken heart. Now, why do you think it says the Lord is close to them that has a broken heart? Uh, I'm gonna get to that in a minute. I just, I just want you to think about it real quick. Lemme finish the verse down and say such as be of a contrite spirit. So when a person you, you know, you know why I, I, I just trust the Lord because it's gonna work out for me no matter what. See, I love it. All my heart. You know why?'cause it's gonna work out for me no matter what. Why? Because you have to get to the point where you're gonna trust God and, and if God is allowing a person in your life, you gotta trust God to make that person do right? Oh, we talking real now. See, when you get to this point, hell, you stop worrying about people behavior. You start worrying about being right with God. See when you are right with God, he fixes everything else. Okay. Let me go on now because I wanna get you to get this now. See, the part that we're trying to get you to understand, let's just say,'cause I, I've dealt with people who had their heart broken. I, I, I've listened to'em who had their heart broken. Now, what does the word say? The Lord is close to that person because they have loved. The Lord says, I'm close to you now, remember now, if you, if somebody can break your heart, that means you cared. That means you are trying. Let me, let me help you out a little bit. Now, there are people that no matter what somebody do to'em, it doesn't bother them. Why? Their heart never in it. Their heart was never in it. So they could only go so far in this thing called love in this thing called trust. But when you put it all in there, so, okay, man, it's fragile. What you got. But if you do hurt it, the Lord says, okay. I'm, I'm close to you. I ain't gonna leave you alone. Well, let me go on, let me go on. I, I think I'm ready for this right here now, because see, he's trying to teach us some things that's important. We talking, give us a new heart, give us a clean heart, the heart that we gotta have to be true service. Let's call Ezekiel. Ezekiel 11 verse 19. Ezekiel Chapter 11, verse 19. Oh, that heart is something else now. And I know y'all thought, I thought it was just the heart now. Oh, so much more. So Ezekiel chapter 11, verse 19. Let's deal with this. Now. Now, now I'm not saying the damn same thing, just to a different person and I, God will give them one heart. Whoa. Whoa, this is good now, and I will put a new spirit within you and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh and will give them a heart of flesh. All he's saying is I'm going to get you the love at a depth. That wasn't available before. I'm get you to understand and behave in a way that they never done before, but don't stop there. Let's go back to Proverbs 21. Proverbs 21, oh. The word is just something by itself. You said, I don't need no help. I can do this all by myself. So in Proverbs 21, verse two. Every way of a man is right how in his own eyes. But the Lord ponders the what? Heart. I'm gonna say that again. Now, every man in his own eyes think his way is right, but the Lord, he, he's looking into the heart, the heart of the matter. Wow. Why do you want this? Why are you doing this? The Lord looks into this thing here and he says, uh, you really are not for me. But we going on, we going in the book of James, oh, James, chapter four, verse eight. We are talking about the heart of a person there. See, once you start to understand this, people don't fool you no more. In James chapter four, verse eight, he says, draw a eye to God. Now remember now, first they told the people with with a broken heart, it said God will draw a eye to them. But watch what he says in James, draw a knife to God and he will draw a knife to you. Cleanse your hand, you sin. And purify your hearts. You double-minded. You got some people, they'll be left today. They'll go right tomorrow. They'll go left today, they'll go right tomorrow. He says, stop. Be double-minded. Draw night of God. Watch God draw outta you. Now I'm gonna help Y out a little bit'cause I know people miss this now. Forget husband and life, husband and wife relationship. Forget father and son, father and daughter, mother and son, mother and daughter. Forget that kind of relationship'cause you're not getting discs when you are talking about drawing a knife to God and he'll draw a knife to you. Your step might only be one inch, just to give you a example of distance, one inch, but God's draw to you will probably be like a hundred miles. Because his love is different than ours. I was as contingent on what can you do for me? God's love is unconditional. Okay. Okay. Okay, hold on then. Let's go back. The first Samuel. Let's go to First Samuel chapter 16, verse seven. One Samuel Chapter 16, verse seven, but the Lord said unto Samuel, look not on his continent. Don't look at how he looks, how tall he is, how, how big he is, or on the height of his statue, because I God again, have refused him. This is talking about David Brothers now. For the Lord sees not as man sees for a man looking on the outward appearance, but the Lord looking on the heart. See, David had some big brothers and when he was coming to pick the king from Jesse. Samuel was looking at their statue, how tall they was, how big they was. Now, the Lord didn't say David wasn't big. He never said that. He told Samuel, yo, you are looking incorrectly now. Here's the blessing for y'all. And he couldn't do what the Lord did. He can't look at somebody's heart. The Lord is only one to it. He was telling Samuel, stop choosing until I tell you which one I chose. See, today people are keep trying to choose God messenger. You can't choose him. You have no, you have no ability to choose him. Only God can choose his messenger. There lies the average church problem. They choose wrong, and the person believe wrong now, all of them on their road to destruction. Why? Because the blind leading the blind. But I ain't stopping. There we are going straight back to the word now. First Timothy one Timothy chapter one, verse five. One Timothy chapter one, verse five. Oh, y'all are messed up today. Y'all came and woke up. Now watch this. Now we talk about that new heart, a clean heart, and a person. We talk about somebody who saved now. Now the end of the commandment is charity Out of a pure heart. And of a good const conscience and of faith on fringe. But all these things, if a person is doing it because they want to do the right thing, a person is doing it because of their faith in God. A person is doing it because they got a good conscience. To want to help somebody who's falling on hard times. You got many people today, they go to church, they call the name Jesus. They call on the father, but they wouldn't give a dollar to a, a, a homeless person who's hungry. They would, they would throw away a piece of a sandwich instead of giving it to somebody who's really hungry. See, we get to the point where we gotta be God to a lot of people. Well, I'm not gonna give this person no money because they gonna buy drugs. What is that to you? You can't tell what they're going to do. You can't read nobody heart. I'm so sick and tired of all these religious people say, well, I'm not gonna, you ain't doing'cause you evil. That's all it is. Stop trying to control everything and allow God to be God. I hope you enjoy having the word of God. We are talking about Lord, give me a new heart, a clean heart that I can be truly saved.
