I was blinded, but now I see. See, when you read that, it is a powerful statement. But can you imagine losing your sight and then asking Jesus to heal you? Oh, we got a message today now. We got a message. I was blinded, but now I see. See, Bartimaeus received his sight from Jesus. Let's go to the book of Mark 1:46-42. The book of Mark 10:46-42. And it says, "Then they came to Jericho. And later, as he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a large crowd, a beggar who was blinded named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, who was sitting by the road." We talking about a beggar now. "And when he heard that it was Jesus, Nazarene, he began to cry out and saying, 'Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.'" Why am I telling you this? See, it's easy to talk about somebody else situation, but it's another thing to experience being blinded. Oh, I ain't just talking about this story. I'm telling you I was blinded also. Oh, we talking about the word now. But watch what he said And when he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out saying, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me." Oh, I remember making that statement myself. Jesus, have mercy on me. Many were, watch this, sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me." And Jesus stopped and said, "Call him here." So they called the man who was blinded, saying to him, "Take courage. Stand up. He is calling for you." And throwing off his cloaks, he jumped up and came to Jesus. And replying to him, Jesus said, "What do you want me to do for you?" See, people biggest problem is they don't know who to call. And the man who was blind said to him, "Rabboni, I want to regain my sight." Remember now, he had it, but he had lost it. And Jesus said, said unto him, "Go. Your faith has made you well." And immediately, he regained his sight and began following him on the road. See, I remember, we ain't talking about nobody else now, we talking about January 25th, 2026. I remember sitting at my desk And my sight got blurry. I sent a message to my coach, and I drove myself to the emergency room. I called my wife and tell her, "I'm going to the hospital." What was happening? I don't know. I just know out of my left eye, I can't see. I'm blinded in my left eye, but my right eye is good, so I can drive 'cause I can see out of my right eye. But my left eye is blurry. I'm blinded in my left eye. We talking about Apostle Elle is going through blindness. I was blinded, but now I see. But I wasn't seeing. We talking about story. So I remember getting to the opera- getting to the emergency room, and they, the doctors came. They admitted me in the hospital. I'm in the hospital for five days. They're running tests left and right. They are trying to figure out what happened. I had a stroke in my left eye. The doctor says, "You're pretty much never gonna see out of that eye again." I got it, but I'm a man of faith. I believe God is gonna heal me. So out here running all these tests, and I'm going through, and I'm doing everything they're saying. I was taking my medication. I'm doing the things that I'm supposed to do, but nonetheless, I had a stroke in my left eye. I can't see. But I'm believing God because I realized something that a lot of people don't realize. Yes, this has happened, but I got two choices. I can accept it, or I can do like Bartimaeus, "Hey, Lord, heal my eyes." For one year, I went through specialist after specialist after specialist. They're watching, they're monitoring, they're going through all these tests of my, my eyes. They're going through the retina, and they're going through what is happening. Well, what is happening is part of my pupil literally as separated I want you to hear me now. I cannot work doing what I'm doing if my sight don't come back, not for a long period of time, 'cause I'm literally operating on one eye Fast forward a while, we talking, the doctor is ta- uh, the specialist, she says, "I don't know who's watching over you. I don't believe now. I don't believe." She's telling me, "I don't believe, but somebody is watching over you because there's no way you can see through that eye again." I have full vision. In actuality, it's better than it was before I had that stroke in my left eye. What am I telling you? The God I serve is a healer right now Just like he was in Jerusalem, just like he was on the road to Jericho, just like he was on the road from Jericho, the same way he healed Bartimaeus, he healed my eyes. So what people don't realize in that story, he was a beggar, but nothing was wrong with his voice. He was blinded, but nothing was wrong with his faith. He says, "Son of David." Most people will miss that story. When he's saying, "Son of David," he's calling his bloodline. He's now operating in that faith of knowing you're the Messiah, the Christ, the healer. And if I can get a word to you, I know you have enough mercy to call me up, to heal me. He says, "You have the power." And Jesus healed him, and he healed Apostle Al. Why, though? To show us that he's a healer then, and he's a healer now. Most people biggest problem is they won't call on him. That's their biggest problem. They don't have enough faith to believe he will do what he have done before. Me, I had faith. Why? Because I know his story. I know him, and I know he's a man that if he said he's gonna do it, he's gonna do it, and he healed me. So when the doctor's telling me, she says, "I can't even explain what has happened to you, but your eyesight has come back." I was seeing the doctor every month for a year. See, people think this, no, no, it was every month for a year, and they kept testing my eyes and testing my eyes, and I hate people putting things in my eyes, but I allowed them to put things in my eyes. Not that they was healing me. They, they, he, she already said, she said, "You will never gain sight of that eye, that eye again." But nonetheless, I did. Why? Because Jesus is a healer. We talking about how Apostle Al was healed. He was blinded, but now he sees. That's my message for the day. I was blinded, but now I see. That's why I will have no problem for the rest of my life worshiping him, for the rest of my life praising God for what he's done to me. So when I walk around and people say, "Why are you laughing? Why are you happy?" Because I was blinded, but now I see. So when he jumped up, Bartimaeus jumped up, and he's ex- he's celebrating, and he's worshiping, and he's following Jesus. That's why I do what I do, because I know what he's done for me. That is his word. I was blinded, but now I see. Apostle Al, just like Bartimaeus, Jesus healed our sight.
