This week I’m recapping Quicksilver, a romantasy featuring a young woman with unmatched abilities, a desert with no night, a mysterious pool of metal, and a broody man who literally rises from the floor to change everything. It’s full of familiar tropes, fast attraction, and plenty of spice, and while it’s not the most original story out there, it was definitely entertaining while it lasted.
