The JoCo Republican
Hello Everyone!
I’m the Social Media Director for the Republican Party in Josephine County, Oregon. I run the digital side of things, from the website to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Truth Social, Nextdoor, and podcast platforms.
This podcast is where I break things down. Local issues, county decisions, state impacts, and the conversations that actually affect our community. No spin, no noise, just walking through what’s happening and what it means.
If you live in Josephine County and want to stay informed on what’s really going on, you’re in the right place.

A local resident recently made a post on Facebook on every local Facebook group I am a member of accusing members of our party of possible ballot harvesting or other foul play simply because volunteers were helping members of the public by taking ballots, voter registration forms, and other paperwork across the street to the courthouse. The reality is this has been done for years by volunteers helping people in the community down at our office. What caught my attention was not just the accusation itself, but the photograph that was used. I went down and took my own picture from outside and, at nearly six feet tall, it became obvious the original image appeared to be taken from well above normal standing height. I also pointed out details like the windowsill and dust patterns on the glass that strongly suggest the photo may have actually been taken from inside the courthouse building looking outward. Without accusing anyone specifically, it raises a fair question: why would county employees or anyone inside a public building in a private office be photographing members of the public during normal business hours? I’ll let the community look at the evidence and decide for themselves.
We certainly aren't paying these public servants and employees over 50 million dollars a year to spy on members of the public..
Josephine County Republican, and it is May the 20th, 2026. Um, so normally this is kind of outside of what I do. I don't uh like to attack people, um, but when they're attacking my friends, I kind of have to step in. So there was a post today. Um sorry, yesterday. I'm gonna put that on the screen here. Okay, so from Mark Collier says that today is election day in Josephine County. Multiple witnesses has uh reported. District 3 Representative Dwayne Younger uh and failed. Commissioner John West delivering multiple ballots to multiple runs to the county clerk. Uh ballot harvesting much, shameful. Um, if you cannot win on your own accord, maybe then you should fix um find another profession. Yes, even you, Marine. Uh so you know, and so, and then you could see my response here. I said, Yeah, you know, we're uh we all do this. We do this all the time. Actually, I won't even have to read that. You guys can read that if you want. There's my response below. Um yeah, we do this all the time. We've been doing this for years. We we help people, we help people in the community. If somebody comes in and they say, Hey, I want to register to vote, say, okay, we got the forms right here, you know, and we give them the form and we walk it across the street, turn it in for them. You know, if you want to become a PCP, we've you know, you fill out the form there, you can turn it in. We turn it in across the street or ballots, people come in with questions. Um, I was actually there that day, and uh, you know, people are coming in, um, some elderly people, some um not. And you know, we're helping people uh with questions, and they fill in the ballot and then they seal the ballot and then they sign it. And I um have cameras down there. I installed security cameras at the Republican headquarters, so it's all recorded 24-7. And then, yes, we walk it across the street and turn it in. Um, so that's I mean, you know, maybe I could just leave it there. But then I started looking at these pictures and I'm like, wait a minute. Let me put this one up. Okay, look at this bottom right hand corner, and I've got the arrows pointing to it. That's a windowsill. That's interesting. And then there's like a little bit of dust on the window, so I'm like, wait a minute. Um, you know, at first I thought it was odd that maybe somebody was hiding behind the pillar at the courthouse taking these pictures, and and also find it odd that Dwayne didn't notice the person, uh, didn't say anything to us about it. And then I see this windowsill on this picture, and I'm like, whoa, what's this? So then I was like, okay, I gotta go down there and check this out. So I, you know, if somebody took a picture from the outside of the building, why is there a windowsill? You know, maybe it's a uh maybe they took a picture of somebody else's picture, I don't know. Could be anything, really. Um so I went down there and I stood down there just a couple minutes ago and I took a picture at eye level, standing in the general vicinity of that pillar. Notice that these carvings on the pillar, um, and this is my eye level. I'm taking my camera like this, took a picture, and the carvings on the pillar are actually above me by I want to say 14 inches, maybe, maybe a little bit more, something like that. Um, and then going back to the picture from Mark, those carvings are below. So then I turn around and I look, and there's an office right there. There's office and windows right there. So here's that picture. I it's my opinion that somebody from within the construct took these pictures. Who could that be? I you know, who's in this office? I'm not gonna point fingers at who's in that office. Um why are county employees taking pictures of members of the public? And then how did they end up in Mr. Collier's hands, and why is he using them to attack the Republican Party or members of the party? Anyway, I just thought I'd bring that up. I'm not gonna make any uh assumptions on any of this. I'll leave it for you guys to decide. I just thought it was a little weird. Anyway, Josephine County Republican signing out.
