Welcome everyone. Thank you for tuning in to the Bread of Life with JJ. As promised, today's episode, we are going to be discussing the fruits of the Spirit. Continuous discussion on the fruits of the Spirit, which the fruit we will discuss today in the Spirit is kindness. Kindness. Very important. So thank you for again enjoying this morsel that God has created for you and through me for you to enjoy a small appetizer, as you would, that will continue to satisfy your soul with godly pleasure and satisfaction, truth that will grow your spirit. Because it's his bread that we are eating from, his water that we are drinking from. Whether you take it literally or not, figuratively, I want you to understand these things that we are doing, it is going to be communion today, devotional today, prayer today, discussion. Some of my readings, again, I get and paraphrase from or be from either Dr. Charles Stanley, uh, Dr. Livingston, Dr. Randy Carlson, or also Dr. Late Adrian Rogers. There's certain pastors and ministers that I just embrace their studies. They convict my soul, and they really help pave the way in my walk and for my walk. And there's been so many other pastors that I've had a pleasure of learning from, from Liberty Church, Pastor Richard, where I took some ministry school from, from other sources that I have grateful to know certain individuals and people in their lives. And I do hope they're they're staying in that right course. Again, we don't serve man, right? We serve God, we serve the Holy Spirit, we serve who the Lord, like what He tells us to do, where He tells us to go. If He puts people in your path, well, then we're gonna learn from them. We're gonna probably grow with them. Iron sharpens iron, as Proverbs tells me to. Listen, we are supposed to commune and come together. Before we get started, I'd like to pray. We get into communion, and then we're gonna discuss kindness. So please bow your heads if you're able to. Heavenly Father, thank you for those tuning in. I pray, Lord, that you move their heart and their mind, that we listen and follow you, what truly is you and your word, what you mean for us to have this life and how we're supposed to live it with your kindness, with the fruits of your spirit. Whether we get it right or wrong, it doesn't matter. I pray that we strive, as you say, work out your salvation. I pray we strive to satisfy and please you and to know you intimately, truthfully. Thank you. Those listening, I pray that your ears are open or their mind is receptive, their heart is open and receptive, Lord. Like thank you for those that are listening. Bless them and their families and their lives. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. So communion is again another important time we spend together. Because those just tuning in, it may be new to you, or those that have been tuning in. Listen, I want to, every time we come together intimately, I want to break bread. That's like an intimate moment. For the Christian, especially, because we we love Jesus, right? And we were here to follow his commands. We're here to walk out his statutes, live the way that hopefully he wants us to live, right? And we don't get it right at times, it's fine, but we we come back to the source, and the source is Christ. The source is communion, the source is how we're gonna start this off and kick this off in our day. So if you can turn to your Bibles or your Bible apps, whatever you have on the phone, all right. Where I go to is uh Bible Gateway, and that's gonna be the new international version. You can use the English Standard Version, King James Version. You can do all sorts of versions, but as long as it's truth, as long as you're understanding what they mean, what it means by that, what they're saying here in the in the scripture. But mine's gonna be 1 Corinthians 11, and that's gonna be verse 23. So, 1 Corinthians chapter 11, verse 23. We'll read it all the way down. I say to 28. Now, Paul is talking about this is a letter that he's speaking to and giving information to the Corinthians and the church at Corinth. These are letters that Paul wrote, discussions, things he had to come in agreements with and had to explain to them what the importance is, but especially when we come together, how we're supposed to live, but also paying reverence to the Lord. That's the Last Supper and what that means for Christians, especially before Jesus passed away and then was risen again. But before he went through what he did, this was the reason behind it. So it says this, Paul said, For I received from the Lord what else will pass on to you. The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, he took bread. And when he had given things, he broke it and said, This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me. So whether you have uh bread or you know, cracker, whatever that may be, it signifies the breaking of the body of Christ, what he went through, what he endured to go through. What we are here today claiming our salvation through him, our Christian life. We are saved because we believe in him and what he did at Calvary on the cross and the pain that he endured, the suffering that he went through for ungrateful people. And let us pay respects to that and take that body and say, Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. I do repent of my sins, truly. And when we say I repent of my sins, and I'll discuss that, Holy Spirit just reminded me. I'm gonna let you know what that means. Truly what truly repentance is, okay? As we follow along here. In the same manner, after supper, he took the cup, saying, This cup is a new covenant in my blood. Do this whenever you drink it. Do this in remembrance of me. For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. You proclaim, you believe, you are saying, stating, you are living, you are understanding and showing others the understanding that, hey, the Lord died, but he rose again, and he's coming back for his people, like this word said. And we believe it because he lives around me and in me, through me, and lives with others that follow his ways, right? Truly. So let's drink this bread. I mean, let's drink this cup. I like to call this Jesus juice. This is my Jesus juice I drink. It's good for the heart. Let's drink it. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Now, those that took it, whenever you eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, you will be guilty of sinning against the body and the blood of the Lord. So please, it says in verse 28, everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat the bread and drink the cup. Examine yourself. You don't want to have judgment upon yourself. Examine your heart. And honestly, what I mean by that, examine your heart. When I was talking about true repentance, what that means, we say that, like, Lord, I'm sorry. A misunderstanding, and it really is. This can really keep you out of the kingdom of heaven. Lord, I'm sorry, Lord, I'm not perfect, I am a sinner. Many times we pray to the Lord with tears, confessing our sins and expressing regret, thinking this is repentance. But the next day we go right back to our old ways and commit the same sins. This is not repentance. This is called a sinful, vicious cycle. True repentance, true repentance. It's like what the people of Nineveh did. If you know the story with Jonah, Jonah was so bent on I am not going to talk to those people. I they have come against me and my family and our countrymen. I don't, they're evil. You know what? God, do what you want to do with them. Please destroy them. I don't I don't want to go over there and tell them to repent. So bye. I'm not going. And he goes so far as the Lord's like, no, Jonah, come on, man. He's like, nope. He goes on a ship. Hey, send me to send me to another place. I believe he was going to Tarsus. Send me, send me opposite of where I need to go, where Nineveh is not. And as he did, he was all comfortable laying down at the bottom while this ship all of a sudden started rocking back and forth with a storm. A storm that just you couldn't explain came out of nowhere. And then Jonah's all comfortable just laying in, you know, asleep, counting the sleep, counting the sheep. And everybody else is like, What's going on? What is happening to our ship? We had to dump the cargo, we're gonna die. Like, I don't understand. Who brought this upon us? Who brought this curse upon us? So people back in the day used to throw lots, kind of like a dice game, right? They would throw, and they're playing in the demonic for sure. But they would go and throw and say, Who's who's this sinful person against us? Or who's this one that caused this calamity to pause? Oh, it is that guy. Why is he so comfortable? Why are you so comfortable in the sleep downstairs where we're going crazy about to die? You you need to come up here, tell us what's going on. He tells him, Hey man, you know, it's my fault. I ran away from God. So you know what you should do? Just throw me overboard and the storm will stop. Like, what? Throw him overboard. Okay, threw him overboard. Boom. And immediately as he said that, the storm stopped. And guess what he got swallowed up by? Big old fish. Doesn't mean it had to be a whale. God just sent a huge fish in his belly for three days. And a mount mind you, this big fish swimming back. This is where you're supposed to go. I'm going to regurgitate you on the shore. You'll be fine. You're gonna look weird because you've been in a stomach of fish acid for a certain period of time. So your skin's probably gonna look kind of white and pale. You're gonna look freakily freaky weird. So I get I guarantee you those people in Nineveh are really gonna listen to you. Because when you go up there and tell them you need to repent of your sins and turn from your ways or you will be destroyed, they were like, Wow, yeah, you don't look too good. I think we need to go listen to him. And they did. They did. God got his attention. Man, I don't need to go that far though in life because sometimes we do hard-headed. So it's like when the people of Nineveh did, when they heard God was going to destroy the city in 40 days, the king and the people didn't just weep in sorrow, they took action. They fasted, they put on sackcloth, ashes, more importantly. And let them turn, as Jonah 3A says, let them turn every one of these evil ways and from the violence that is in their hands. The key to changing God's mind was not their tears, but their true repentance, completely forsaking their sins and not looking back. That's what they did. Sin, as we know, brings God's fierce wrath and punishment. He cannot stand it or be around that. It brings God's fierce wrath. But true repentance regains God's mercy and tolerance. So I want you to realize, understand, saying, Lord, I'm sorry, as repentance, instead of turning back from the bottom of your heart, leave your evil ways and turn to God and walk the path of doing God's will. This is the true path to entering the kingdom of heaven, plus believing in Jesus. You gotta believe in Jesus. Have to. And do his will. Do his will. When the people of Nineveh abandoned the violence in their hands, this proved and re-represented the true repentance. God observes people's outward appearance as well as inward at the heart. When God observed the true repentance in the hearts of the Nineveh without question, and also observed that they had left their evil ways and abandoned the violence in their hands, he changed his heart. This is to say that the people's conduct and behavior and various ways of doing things, as well as their true confession, repentance of their sins in their hearts, caused God to change his heart, to change his intentions, to retract his decision and not to punish or destroy them. Thus, the people of Nineveh achieved a different outcome for themselves. They redeemed their own lives, and at the same time won God's mercy and tolerance, at which point God also retracted his wrath, which we all want in this life. I do. I do. Now let's talk about kindness because I'm going to get back on this. Like we're going to get into these subjects and we're going to keep on moving forward too with the fruits of the spirit, all right? But let's talk about kindness. Are we really kind? Are we really kind people? I like to know because I sometimes think that I am, but I fall short lots of times. The Hebrew word for kindness, Hesed, is often translated in the Bible as love and kindness or mercy, emphasizing affection and caring. The biblical kindness is compassion rooted in God's love, paired with truth that points people toward the life they were created for. In the Bible, kindness is often associated with God's nature, but is also used to describe individuals who practice kindness as a virtue. That is the fruits of the spirit, is what we're talking about. The true meaning of kindness is a type of behavior marked by acts of generosity, consideration or concern for others without expecting praise or reward in return. Think about that. Do we practice those things? Man, I no, not always. Not always. Let me give you some scriptures to help you out in this. First Job, that's one of them, 6.14. He said, He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty. Proverbs 11 17. A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself. Ephesians 4, 32, be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as Christ or God in Christ forgave you. Another one is Romans 11, 22. Note then the kindness and the severity of God, severity toward those who have fallen. But God's kindness to you provided you continue in his kindness, or otherwise you will be cut off. God's love is immeasurable. Colossians 3 12, put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. And lastly, verse here, Hebrews 13, 16 says, Do not neglect to do good and to share with what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. This Proverbs tells me, whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deeds. Seems to me that kindness is a major thing to the Lord. How do we show that? One way, many ways, but this is one way. We offer hospitality. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Practice hospitality. Romans 12 13. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers. For thereby some have entertained angels unaware. In Hebrews 13, 12, 100 302. Yeah. But when you give a feast, invite the poor. This is what Jesus said. When you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed because they cannot repay you. Ooh. Hospitality. Do we do that? Do we practice that? So much because it's it seems like it means a lot to the Lord. You know, doing it without grumbling. Complaining, like, oh man, I gotta go do what? Oh, they need help doing what? Man. That's not how we're supposed to be. Not as a Christian, not if you call yourself a Christian. God called us to a higher standard. We must walk that higher standard out. And questions I have for you, for you to think about. This is gonna go off of 1 Thessalonians 2 as well. And we'll discuss other chapters, other verses in the Bible. This is what hit me the most, too, with uh another pastor at uh Maricopa Alliance was talking to me about. Yeah. Ask yourself this. Has how has God's word changed me? This year, let's say. How has God's word changed me? Ask yourself that question. Think about am I more loving? Am I more obedient? Am I more Christ-like? Ask yourself that. How has God's word changed me? How is it? The gospel changed the Thessalonians with their priorities, their values, relationships, and think about your eternal destiny. Especially those as a Christian, right? You want to think about what is my eternal destiny like? How am I living? How are my relationships like? What do I value? Do I stand up for things? What are my priorities? Do I put God first? Do I help others in need? Or do I am I more consumed about self? Have I shown that I've been more loving and obedient? Have I been Christ-like? These are heart checks. Heart checks. Things that we have to address. Some people don't like doing things either because they don't want to deal with criticism, but check this out. This author by the name of Albert Hubbard said this to avoid criticism, do nothing. Say nothing, be nothing. End quote. So, meaning, to avoid opposition, do nothing that reflects Jesus. Say nothing that reflects Jesus, and you'll be nothing that reflects Jesus. Another question I have for you is, is God's word actively at work in you? Can you ask yourself honestly that question? God's word is actively at work in me. And if it is, how so? Are you doing what I just read? Avoiding opposition? So you don't want to say nothing? You don't want to deal with nothing? You want to avoid criticism?

Right?

Do nothing, say nothing. How does that look? I know God's active. His word is sharper than any two-edged sword. Piercing through the meat in the marrow, the bone. Right through the soul. We have to really honestly be intentional with these things in our lives, everyone that are listening. Kindness. Kindness can be shown in so many different ways. Ways that reflect Christ. Ways that are sacrificial, because tell me, I know. It gets hard. It gets hard. But do we stay single-minded focus? Even though we're in our comforts. Is that what it's about? When we are focused on Christ, distractions, though, lose their power. A distraction of causing you not to want to be kind or nice to people, right? When we are focused on Christ instead of single-mindedness. 2 Timothy 2 4 5 tells me that, right? Like, distractions will lose their power. All the things that you can think of when you want to help somebody, then all of a sudden you're like, oh, about me. It's about me. No, I got to do this instead. I'm going to do this about me. But when you start focusing on Christ, that distraction, that type of thinking will lose its power. And verse 4. Today's passage, Paul warns against becoming entangled in the affairs of everyday life. The image is vivid. Imagine, as a soldier, wrapped up in civilian concerns, that he can't move freely to serve his commander. And you know as well as I do, especially those that have served, cannot do that, or we will be, our life will be miserable if we did that. Paul wasn't telling Timothy to abandon all earthly responsibilities. After all, Paul himself worked as a tent maker while carrying on ministry. Rather, he was cautioning against allowing daily pursuance to supersede a commitment to Christ. When our occupation, finances, or leisure consumes us to the point that spiritual disciplines suffer, we've become entangled. Let me say that again. When our occupation, our finances, our fun time consumes us to the point that spiritual disciplines suffer, we've become entangled. What's spiritual discipline? What do you think spiritual discipline is? Honestly, waking up, putting God first, agendas of the day, reading, focusing on Him and what you can do for Him, growing in your spirit, praying, talking throughout the day, being intimate. Growing wealth, providing for our family, and enjoying rest are all important. God encourages them. God is good. He created these things. However, it's important to guard against letting these blessings become distractions that draw us away from church, a biblically based church, mind you, godly church, God-fearing church, prayer, or Bible study. And we should void at all cost compartmentalizing our life into ministry time and regular life. The Bible tells me in Ephesians 2.10, hey, we are Christ's workmanship. No matter where we are or what we are doing. Everything God gives, vocation, resources, leisure, is meant to be used for his glory. The question isn't whether we work or rest, but whether these good things keep us from serving our leader or our Lord Jesus freely. Do these things keep us from serving him freely? Ask yourself that question because if you believe like I do, and I struggle, trust me, I have my moments up days, man. I wake up and I'm just like, oh, this life is just, oh yeah. If I could grab the earth, I would shake it. And the earth would shake me back. And I listen, and I'd be okay with the earth shaking me back and destroying me at that moment, right? Because that's what would happen if I try to shake the earth. All the forces that would be. So I have to really learn what it means to grit, hunker down, understand biblically, like, hey, listen, these people before us went through these struggles. Again, Paul the tip maker, hey, I gotta make money, man. I gotta do what I need to do. I gotta take care of my family, I gotta take care of my finances, I gotta live life. But hey, are these being distracting? Because guess what? The Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He owns all the silver and gold. Nothing gets away from the Lord. He sees it all. Even the sparrows have food to eat. Why would I not? And more, right? And more. He even said, I clothe the grass of the field. The grass is not anything compared to Solomon, right? Solomon had stuff, but the grass is even greater, too. I clothed just the grass. Think about it. Flowers in the field, the lilies, uh, the sunflowers, the things in this world that are so beautiful, but yet they die quickly. They burn up. But God so clothes the grass or the field, how much more he won't do for you. You know? I can't forget that. I do. Because I want things now. Immediately, right away. And whenever a moment of kindness comes upon me to retract and be to others, that is a test. Are you going to show that no matter the cost, are you wrapped up in your things that cause you not to be kind because you are stressed, because you don't have enough, or you don't have what you want and you want more. Or you're it's not satisfying enough. And the Bible even tells me clearly, hey, the eye is not seen, the ear is not heard. Listen, I want it all, always, never satisfied. And Ecclesiastes, it tells me that you'll never be satisfied. Solomon had a thousand wives. Never satisfied. So it don't matter. All this stuff is meaningless. And so when we get a grips to that and say, hey man, let's go out of our way to help others. Let's be kind and loving, not expecting anything in return. But let's go ahead and show the love, kindness, the fruits of the spirit that Christ died for that says this is how you need to be in life. Because he was that way. I guarantee, listen, there's over 122 uh moments written about Christ and what he's done and his interactions with people and where he's been. I believe over 122. And out of those times, he's only spent 12 of them in the synagogue. He's been out, about speaking, doors shut in his face, people spitting on him or talking stuff, and some people inviting him in and bringing him in, and good to them that did that. Blessed are them, woe to those who don't. But I'm telling you, when he did, he was kind. And when they weren't, he was kind. Rolled off the shoulders, just like the good Samaritan, the Samaritan story. Kind. When that Samaritan got jumped and beat up and got everything taken from him and left on the side to die. His countrymen, a priest, a rabbi came by and did not even help him one bit. Saw him and they didn't want nothing to do with it. But guess who came by? And helped. Yeah, a Samaritan. One that Israels and Hebrews, like they do not, they feud and do not get along with. But the good Samaritan picked him up and took him, paid for his stay and for him to in his nursing and for him to get better and food. And came back and said, I'll check on him later if he needs more. Let me know. Kindness. Willing to go out your way. For the greater good of others, man, in this life. That's how we have to see things for what they are. We can't let the world dictate our attitude, though, because it will. If you allow it, it will. And it's so ugly. And we can't allow that to happen. That's why it's so important to stay close to the Lord. That's why it's so important to understand the Christian life. Do you understand as I'm speaking this to you? Do you understand what it means to be saved? Galatians 1, 11 through 17 will explain this as well. A change in both lifestyle and understanding should be, and I talked to you about before, repentance, right? So a change in both lifestyle and understanding should be the result from salvation. Romans 12, 2. Shortly after encountering Jesus on the road to Damascus, Paul, now, who was Saul then, pulled away to Arabia for a time. Before he could start his ministry, he needed to learn from the Lord. Similarly, similarly, new believers coming into faith need to understand what salvation really means. Let's look at some terms that help explain what it means to being saved. Born again. John 3.3 and 2 Corinthians 5.17. Rebirth is a starting over. We become new creations in Christ with a spiritual life and identity. Converted. Converting something means changing it, like money that's exchanged from one currency to another. The Christian life involves many different changes. Converting. Receiving Christ, John 1.12. We often think of salvation as something God gives, but it is more than that. When someone trusts in Christ, that person welcomes the Lord to live within his or her being. So think about how you thought and lived before you knew Jesus, our Savior, Yeshua, as compared with now. Think about how you thought before as compared with now. In what ways do you see genuine change? And you gotta ask yourself for God to or ask God, number one, to reveal areas in your life where Christ could become more evident. Just like I was saying before. And the questions I was asking pre previously to that, how has God's word changed you? How has his word changed you? Is God's word active and work in you? It'll be evident the fruits of your life will show. It will. Very important. And it's a it's a one day at a time thing. It's about progression and not perfection. So I want everybody not to that's listened to me be very clear to this. Like, I don't want you to get discouraged and think, you know what, I'm never gonna get it right, so why bother? That's not the case. Anything worth having, you're going to struggle for, period. You're going to work hard for. If it's not worth having, it's easy, then what's the point? I saw that when I when I would train people sometimes. If I offered free services to people and like the martial arts that I do, and you know, rarely some people will come through. But if I charge something and said this is worth something, I had more people come through. Very interesting. And they paid. I was blessed one day, man. I'm telling you right now, by God's grace, only God did this. And four hours of work, I made $800. And I was like, wow. Just to teach people what I like and to help people. And I was like, Lord, if I can get like two or three of those a week, if I can just work 12 hours a week like that, and just train people like that and make that amount of money, wow. For your glory, Lord, thank you. He was showing me this possibility to that. And then he strings you long. You gotta, that's why in this life you have to be open and flow like water. Like Bruce used to say that, like, be like water, you know. Well, truly, be like water, man. Like, just go with the flow. Because the Lord has great things for you. Because I start meeting all these different types of people. You know, I'll go from one place to another place to another place. Like the Lord puts people in your life for a reason. And you got to follow his prompting. If you need to move, you move. If you need to change this, change that, you do it. You trust in the Lord because I'm gonna tell you, all this does not matter, like it says in Ecclesiastes, as Solomon said. This stuff is fleeting. It does not matter, it's worthless. It you're going to die and it goes away, and people fight for it. Who cares? You're no longer here. Your life is like a vapor. Gone in the wind, here today, gone tomorrow. My stress. Yeah, it bothers me. Yeah, I need to have joy like the other fruits I talked about in my previous podcast. Daily I try. But is it achievable? It should be because Jesus lives in me, right? But man, I have some moments of struggle where the joy killer tries to come in and disrupt my day in the morning. And it's crazy as clockwork. Same old tricks, same devil, different level, the same tricks, man. And I'm like, why am I giving into this? Because I want to control something. You know, no, who cares? You know, I had my, for instance, real quick, I'll tell you before we go and depart till next time. But I had I had my trash, trash situation where I had no idea that it was canceled. So my account is inactive. Mind you, my trash is being built up. Like I'm looking, like it's stocking up, man. Like it's been a week in my trash, like, whoa, family of five. Like, listen, what's going on with my trash, man? Why didn't they pick it up? You know, like these are little nuances of life where you're just like, I just don't get it. Okay, let me figure it out. Okay, let's get it done. And then one thing after another, it compiles and compiles, right? So I'm noticing in my walk, how was my attitude like? And how am I going to be? How am I going to respond? Are the fruits showing? Like I said, is my heart right? Is it showing my response? Or do I just flip my wig? And everybody's on my radar, right? Which one is it? So if ever if that's the case, is telling me I need some work done. And I had to come to grips with that because I'm thinking I'm I'm good. The Lord likes to thank you, Father, for who you are. You point things out in me so I can see where I need to surrender and say, I need help. Please show me. Only you can do that. And I'm willing to, I repent. I understand. I see it. Forgive me. Help me. That's how those listening, that's how you got to be. Be vulnerable, be uh transparent. The Lord sees everything you do. You can't hide. I don't care if you go in a closet, bury yourself in the ground. You think he can't see you, he made you, his breath lives in you. Whether you want to accept it or not, whether you keep on adding poison to it or not, I'm telling you right now, you will be judged for your ways. He lives in you. Haven't you seen the difference when people die? Like their bodies look so different when they lay in a casket as opposed to someone just going to sleep.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_00

You see somebody just going to sleep, they're like, oh man, that looks like such and such. They're going to sleep. They're tired. They're sleeping now. Oh, but then when you come back and you see John just color, they see death, you're like, that person does not look like that same person anymore in the casket. I'm sorry. When you go to funerals and when you go to I just can't stand them. I'm not trying to get side note here, but I'm just telling you, like when you see the people that you used to see and love, you're like, that does not look like my Aunt Bertha. She did not have a mole coming out of her nose like that. I don't understand. She looks totally her face, she, she had a bigger face. Her face looks like she just had surgery now done. You know, like I don't get it. It's, you know what it is? It's so, it's the spirit, man. The spirit is gone. There's something real about this. This is not a game. There's a truth behind everything we are discussing and talking about. There is good, there is evil, there is a creator, and there is a devil. Which side do you pick? That is what you must think about and choose. Choose one. Don't be lukewarm. Be either hot or cold. The Lord said that, or I'll spit you out. That's what he said. Don't be lukewarm. I'd rather you hot than lukewarm. Be something. Well, be something for the Lord, because he created you. Follow him in his ways. And guess what? The fruits of the Spirit. Live that out in your life. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, self-control. We're talking about kindness. Cool. All those things come together. They culminate though. If I'm being kind to you, then I'm showing you love. And as I show you love, guess what? I feel like I find joy inside myself. And when I'm being kind to you, I'm being patient because I have to be kind to you because you need help. So I gotta wait for that. Whatever that looks like. It all comes together and it's all about love. Treat your neighbor as yourself. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Right? And love the Lord God, number one, these are the commandments that Jesus said. Love the Lord God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself. Period. And the religion that the Lord loves, that He prove that He uh approves of, as it says in James, as He approves of, is one, don't be tainted by this world, anything in the world. Take care of the orphans and the widows, right? Don't let yourself be polluted. Don't, don't, the love of money cannot exist within you. Because the love of money is the root of all evil. The love of it. Just like I said here earlier, what takes you over? Which one? Focus. Stay connected. Stay on the vine. Jesus loves you. So if anyone needs prayer, anyone that needs someone to talk to, or whatever they're going through, or questions that they have towards what I'm discussing, please reach out. But I think we're doing a good job. I think that people in the studio, I'm grateful for those helping and doing what they're doing and how this is growing. It's so phenomenal. It's amazing. I know God's hand's in it because the way it's growing. We have this blanket donation we're doing with Matta House. Okay. We have all these connections that we're the Lord is allowing to make little by little. Little by little. And my producer is also finding a way, have found, has found a way by God's grace, because God opened the door where He can go and instruct and help other veterans learn this awesome art of podcasting. I think this is a great thing that's happening. It's helped me tremendously in my health, my mental health, and my spirit, and getting things off my chest, the things that the Lord has put in my life to express that to those listening and willing and wanting to listen. Thank you, those tuning in, taking the time out of your day, hearing what I have to say. And please check your resources. I put out scripture. I these are my you know paraphrasing, but my also my interjections, my thoughts. These are my feelings. This is what my perspective is on things. So and if you have a different one, then I'd love to hear about it. But I know I feel the Lord will lead us into a peaceable way because we're not supposed to argue when it comes to things of Him. We'll come to agreements. So again, thank you for tuning in. The fruits of the Spirit, kindness. And join me next time because then we're going to be discussing another fruit. And we're going to go and delve even deeper into those things and get more of our spirit filled and these appetizers with the bread of life. Thank you, Lord. Until next time, God bless you. Jesus loves you. God bless.
