SPEAKER_01

Always so crispy. That was so weird. That was a weird crispy that you just did.

SPEAKER_00

I have to change it up every week. You do. You know what? And that one was fucking weird.

SPEAKER_01

But you know what? We digress. Speaking of crispy, I got something crispy for you today.

SPEAKER_00

Is it your pussy?

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna take a break.

SPEAKER_00

What's crispy?

SPEAKER_01

Well, bitch. That caught me so off guard.

SPEAKER_00

It just popped in my head. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_01

No, I love that. Um, well, first, I kind of wanted to add a little segment into our show every week.

SPEAKER_00

Again, what is it? That was sassy. Please continue.

SPEAKER_01

Sassy ass, bitch. Anyways, I think that, because you love music, I love music. I think I kind of want to add in at the end of our show every week, do a kind of what are you currently listening to, or like what's on rotation song-wise for the week.

SPEAKER_00

Hell yeah, brother. I like that.

SPEAKER_01

You know what's popped in my head? What? The the cow farm. Because of how you said that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I think there's a cow outside. We live on a cow farm. There's gonna be cow cows outside.

SPEAKER_01

That's literally what you sounded like. Um, okay. Well, cool. We're gonna do it then. The thing about me wanting to bring that up today is that this episode is something that I think I want to try doing like once a month or like once every couple months, or maybe when we just don't have anything to chat and yap about, we can always do something like this. It has something called 10 for 10. So your top 10, my top 10, compare, contrast, who the fuck wins this battle, I guess, of of songs. So today I have two that I honestly thought would be a lot easier for us to do because we listened to these people, or at least we did, back when we were doing it for the fucking plot all the time.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And so today we're gonna do Drake and Drake versus party next door.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck yeah. Okay, let's chat and yap about it, and probably, honestly, we're gonna argue about it too. When it comes to music, it's something Brandon and I are very, very, very passionate about. I think we can all agree that without music, the world would be a very sad and boring place. So we decided to start a series. We'll do, again, maybe once a month, once every couple of months, call 10 for 10. And this is volume one, and we're pinning OVO against each other. So did you like that? Yeah, that was really you guys are gonna get ready to hear me.

SPEAKER_00

That was really something. I got it.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Nope, it's back on your face.

SPEAKER_01

Oh well, she wants to hang out.

SPEAKER_00

She wants to stay there.

SPEAKER_01

That's fine. Okay. You know what? It's whatever. Now, today. Drake versus party next snore. Who snore? Door. Party next door.

SPEAKER_00

Party next snore.

SPEAKER_01

Snore. He does not make me snore. So I don't know where that came from.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I feel like with all of his songs, uh, he probably puts your ass to sleep with that dick.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yes. Yes. Well, yes. Party next door. Because party next door.

SPEAKER_00

Snore. Never mind.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, well, I tried. You digress.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I tried. This was you.

SPEAKER_01

Way over my head. So sorry. No, it's fine.

SPEAKER_00

It was stupid. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

When it comes to Drake versus P D, who do you off the top just like that like better?

SPEAKER_00

Drake.

SPEAKER_01

Why?

SPEAKER_00

Because when I was making this list, uh I could list 10 Drake songs off the top of my head.

SPEAKER_01

Like it was nothing. Well, that's a lie. But but you also have adventure brain.

SPEAKER_00

I had to look. Yeah, exactly. I have I have goldfish brain.

SPEAKER_01

You do have goldfish brain.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Leave me alone. Let me live my life. Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

But even with your goldfish brain, you could goldfish brain. I can't talk today. I'm so sorry. I'm unwell.

SPEAKER_00

Same.

SPEAKER_01

Um every day. Every day. Honestly, like when we were making this list, you could give me five songs of Drake. Like, no doubt. It was the last five that you're like, ooh, let me look in my like iTunes or my Spotify and see what I got rotating.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

P and D was very hard for you to come up with. I think you got like a first two, and you're like, and then after that, I was like, oh, I don't know. So I think let's just jump right into it. Do you want to go first with your first top 10 Drake, or do you want me to go first and bounce off?

SPEAKER_00

Should we alternate between like one and one?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Two and two. Yeah, we can do that.

SPEAKER_00

Unless you want to just read it all out. Nope. We can do that.

SPEAKER_01

That works.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, you go first.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so to be honest, it's really hard for me to rate Drake songs or PD songs because I'm a big fan of both of those guys. And it's really hard to pinpoint one song from each that I'm like, yeah, that's my top. Right. So honestly, this was just songs that I've listed, and I really can't place them too well. So first song that of Drake's that popped in my head, and it's because it's been my favorite since it was released, is Hours in Silence.

SPEAKER_00

That's a good one.

SPEAKER_01

I can go bar for bar with that song. I love the intro. I love the middle. I love the bridge. There's everything apart like about that song that I love. And a lot of people diss like the second part of that song because it's slow.

SPEAKER_00

I like all of it, honestly. That's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so I can rate that number one. Oh yeah. Yeah. What about you?

SPEAKER_00

Uh mine's Poetic Justice. It's not really our Drake's song. I think he's featured with Kendrick Lamar. But I don't know, it's also like nostalgic for me a little bit because I used to listen to the shit of it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And it kind of gives me like high school vibes a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

So because when did Poetic Justice come out?

SPEAKER_00

We were in high school.

SPEAKER_01

That's like that's so weird to think about.

SPEAKER_00

I'm pretty sure we were in high school.

SPEAKER_01

No, I bet we were. That's so weird to think about. Next one, number two, You With Me. So this is an underrated song. I feel like it's off of um his 2016 album. And when you listen to it, it's like one of those songs that if I listen to it, I can relate it back to like any type of relationship that I've ever been in. So where you you just like have a miscommunication with someone. Rather, I guess it's like friendships or relationships. So if you have that like miscommunication, you're like, what the fuck is up? Are you with me or are you not? That's what that song is like.

SPEAKER_00

I actually don't know the song.

SPEAKER_01

You need to listen to the song.

SPEAKER_00

It's it sounds familiar, but I don't think I've ever listened to it.

SPEAKER_01

It's very good. You have to give it a little listen.

SPEAKER_00

Uh my number two is Rich Baby Daddy.

SPEAKER_01

Shake that ass for Drake. Now shake that ass for me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Up in the clear. When that song comes on, if you're not like popping your pussy. I'm telling you.

SPEAKER_00

What are you doing?

SPEAKER_01

You just go home.

SPEAKER_00

Because it got Sizza and Sexy Red.

SPEAKER_01

Brother. And I love Sizza.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. We love Solana.

SPEAKER_01

I know we love Solana. I was thinking about next 10 for 10. Whether that's next month or two months from now or whatever. And I was like, we should do Ceza, but I don't know who do you put Sizza up against?

SPEAKER_00

Kalani.

SPEAKER_01

Stop. That's what I was literally thinking. Yeah. That's gonna be a T. Okay, we'll do that. Yeah, we should do that. Perfect. You heard it here first. Number three. Oh wow. He hasn't coughed in a while.

unknown

Excuse me!

SPEAKER_01

Number three is good ones go inner lube. Only the second part. What'd you say?

SPEAKER_00

You heard me. Inner lube?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Because I can't say the word.

SPEAKER_00

Inner lube?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there you go. You got it.

SPEAKER_00

I think we should say it as inner lube. Inner lube.

SPEAKER_01

We're going to enter into the lube.

SPEAKER_00

I don't want to do that.

SPEAKER_01

So anyways.

SPEAKER_00

Anyways.

SPEAKER_01

Only good ones go. So that, God, what's the beginning of that? It's like cameras.

SPEAKER_00

I've never heard that one either.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, you have. It's on the take care album. It's the one that goes that um can't lose you, can't help it. I'm so sorry. I'm so selfish. Uh-uh. That one? Okay. Um, anyways.

SPEAKER_00

Uh my number three is best I ever had.

SPEAKER_01

That's a classic.

SPEAKER_00

It's a classic.

SPEAKER_01

God, I love that one. That one came out when I was like, no. Um, even like the remixes. So I was talking to Jim about my Drake songs. And there's one further down on my list that wasn't released up until about maybe five, six years ago. It was on YouTube as an unreleased song. Well, there's like an unreleased version of Best I Ever Had with remix on it. I think like I don't know, I think like Little Wayne's on it. And I remember listening to that in like middle school, high school, whatever, and just being in love with YouTube remixes of songs that were unreleased. It can never go wrong with Best I Ever Had.

SPEAKER_00

That's a good one. Yeah. Classic for sure.

SPEAKER_01

Four, fire and desire. I get another 2016 banger.

SPEAKER_00

This is a fucking song.

SPEAKER_01

This is a fucking song. No, like no, I yeah, like like uh-uh, and like but also like what was that? We're you guys are getting some AMS M M M R today.

SPEAKER_00

A S M and R. Oh my god, you're fucking me up. A S M R.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. You're welcome.

SPEAKER_00

A S M M and R.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, what you got? Four.

SPEAKER_00

Uh four is crew love with the weekend. Such a good one. Such a good one.

SPEAKER_01

Also a classic. I feel like a child of divorce every time Drake and The Weeknd come up.

SPEAKER_00

It's very um. I want to say also nostalgic, but there's also another word that I can't think of. Um I don't know. It makes my body do things.

SPEAKER_01

Like euphoric?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, euphoric.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, euphoric and nostalgic.

SPEAKER_00

Just like the beat and like like the tempo of it and the lyrics and everything. It's such a good song.

SPEAKER_01

When the weekend goes ha. And then dun dun. Oh my god. Get the fuck out of here. Number five, TSU. She move out of state. Shit went low. I this is a good one too. Oh man. I when this song comes on, I'm just like, if I'm in the car with someone or whatever, I just look at this person and I say shut the fuck up. And I turn up their the song. I'm like, we can't talk for four minutes because we gotta just let Aubrey Graham say what he needs to say about this girl.

SPEAKER_00

This also feels like a uh like an ass shaking song a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe just a smidgen.

SPEAKER_01

A smidgen?

SPEAKER_00

A smidgen of ass shaking.

SPEAKER_01

It's really hard. Well, no, I say that.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe not, actually.

SPEAKER_01

Kind of. It makes me just want to like do like movements with my body.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe not like it's more like actually, I don't think it is an ass shaking song. I take it back.

SPEAKER_01

He digresses.

SPEAKER_00

I digress.

SPEAKER_01

What is your number five?

SPEAKER_00

Uh redemption. God. I love this fucking song.

SPEAKER_01

What about this song? Is like it for you?

SPEAKER_00

Um There's this like one part, and I really wish I could play it, but I can't. Uh-huh. Because I don't want to get sued.

SPEAKER_01

We don't want copyright infringements. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, but there's this one part of you know what?

SPEAKER_01

Just look up the lyrics.

SPEAKER_00

Come look up the lyrics.

SPEAKER_01

What is what song is this one on? Like what album is this on?

SPEAKER_00

Views, I think.

SPEAKER_01

It is on Views. Views. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

I started playing.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no. Views is such a good album. It's just now that is nostalgic. Yeah. And I don't know if it's because it's 2016 and we're in 2026, and it's just been 10 years of fucking bangers from this guy. I don't know. Um, while you look that up, I think I'm gonna look up my number six. My number six, I tried to stay away from like features of like people in his songs. Same thing with PD. I really tried to stay away from people who are brought in on songs to elevate, but it's really hard when a lot of their songs that they write and produce and put out to the world are full of artists that are also very good and just add to the flavor of the whole song and the album and everything like that. So while you look that up, I am going to look up some lyrics to my number six, which is Slime You Out. I love Slime You Out.

SPEAKER_00

And it has Solana in it.

SPEAKER_01

It has Solana, and that I think her like verses is what makes the song what it is.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for sure. And actually, I'm pretty sure she has a lot of the a lot of the song. He's just like more of a feature in that song.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because he does the beginning, and then he says, my girl right here, she's about to slime it out. And then she just goes in. And it's so funny. I'm listening to the song, and I'm like, is she like talking about him like up in his face like this? Because you know they dated and like they had like this whole thing. Yeah. And she's like, I'm gonna rip your ass on your own song. Like, what are you gonna do about it? Not at all. And he just like I bet he was like just standing there, like, damn, she ate me up. He took it. She ate me up, ate me down. I gotta put it on my album.

SPEAKER_00

She took it like a good boy.

SPEAKER_01

So I love how she like, like I said, I think she's like eating him down. Because there's a part in the song that says, tripping when that dick is barely third place. Fu I fucked out of pity. It's cute that you're lame. Dipcause it's mid. I can't fake like it's hanging. Girl, savage.

SPEAKER_00

Love you, Solana.

SPEAKER_01

Love you, Solana. Like that's insane. Okay, I found it. He finally found what he was saying.

SPEAKER_00

Fucking goddamn, finally.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, what's the lyric?

SPEAKER_00

So it's run your mouth. I'd rather listen to someone else. I gave your nickname nickname to someone else. I know you're seeing someone that loves you, and I don't want you to see no one else. I don't want you here with no one else. I don't want to do this with no one else.

SPEAKER_01

And I was just like, 2016, Brandon was like, I can't be in the closet anymore. You can come out.

SPEAKER_00

I just stumbled through the entire thing.

SPEAKER_01

It's okay. This is why we let Drake sing.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. You know what? That's right. I know that's right, girl.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. What's your number six then?

SPEAKER_00

Uh number six is From Time with Janae Echo.

SPEAKER_01

We love Janae as well.

SPEAKER_00

Um, it's very much like uh like a very back and forth thing between them two. Um, but honestly, every feature with a girl and Drake is like back and forth. Yeah. Yeah. So, but if you haven't heard it, very good fucking song. It's also a classic. At least for me it is. Yeah. Because I listen to it a lot.

SPEAKER_01

So obviously it is because it's on your top ten.

SPEAKER_00

Bingo bingo.

SPEAKER_01

Bingo bingo boom. Uh number seven is kind of what I was talking about earlier with songs that were unreleased for a very long time. I fuck so heavy with I Get Lonely. That is one of the songs that you listen to when you're driving at night and you just want a late-night drive song and you want to be in your feelings. Fucking love that.

SPEAKER_00

My number seven is Virginia Beach. And I know you know the song. It gets me in my feels a little bit. But it's such a good song.

SPEAKER_01

I, you know, the lyric where he actually talks about Virginia Beach, pretty baguette, pretty birth rough, just like Virginia Beach. I was like, I've never been to Virginia Beach. I cannot relate, but for some reason when he said that, I was like, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Motherfucker spitting.

SPEAKER_00

Very good song.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I have got number eight is come through. This album. That's a good album. This was something that was released when we were in high school. Right, right, right, right, right. Are you okay? God damn. That one smacked you in the face.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for real.

SPEAKER_01

Excuse me. This one came out when we were in high school, and I remember this whole album was really, really crazy for me. Um, but come through again when it kind of switches. He has a lot of these songs where like you keep the same beat, and then all of a sudden you just flip the damn script. That's one of these songs. This is a good one.

SPEAKER_00

It's also a classic for sure. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's another one of those late night drive songs for me.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, my number eight is Slam You Out.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Um Just Cause I Love Solana. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So it's like the same thing, I basically.

SPEAKER_00

It's kind of like what you said, yeah. Where she's just kind of like shit-talking him.

SPEAKER_01

And he's like, I can't do anything about it. Like, it's a banger of a song. Like, what was he gonna do?

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Squash it.

SPEAKER_00

But also the ending where he he ends the song.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. That's also good. Do you know what I'm talking about?

SPEAKER_01

With the calendar months?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

No, that's a bar for bar.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I love that shit. Um, number nine. This is a big throwback for me. This is find your love.

SPEAKER_00

Damn, that is a throwback. Oh. That's like middle school shit.

SPEAKER_01

That's middle school shit. And it I was stuck between find your love and fancy. I think fancy's in my honorable mention for this category. I don't know that one. Go, go, go, girl. You don't know that? Anyways. What's your number nine?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, number nine is shot for me.

SPEAKER_01

So this is more like on your list, you have a lot of old Drake.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And that's what you like. Which is kind of funny because when we switch over to PD, that's kind of what your PD is, too.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There's a lot of old school Practice.

SPEAKER_00

I like most of his new stuff too. Like uh Hours in Silence is really good. Fire and Desire, TSU.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

All the Tinks. All the Tinks. All the Tinks.

SPEAKER_01

All the Tinks. Uh finally, number 10, Jaded. Off of the Scorpion album. God, you need to listen. I should have had you listen to some of these songs before we start recording. Probably.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, my number 10 is Passion Fruit.

SPEAKER_01

That's a little fun one. Yeah, that's a little summer fun.

SPEAKER_00

That's vibey, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

That's like um patio. It's giving like cocktail hour.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Like something on the beach. Yeah. We should go back to Mexico.

SPEAKER_01

We're working on it, girl. We're working on it. Like I said, we're booked and busy. I think if we could have it our way, we probably would be that way until February of 2027. Because that's when I would want to go, is around January. So before we kill out Drake, do you have a favorite album of his?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know, because like all my songs. Well, actually, I'd say some of my a lot of my songs are from his uh Take Care.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I was gonna say Like a general consensus is like most of the songs are Take Care. Or Take Care, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Take care. I would say I'm tied between Take Care and Um Views as my top Drake albums that he's put out. Sortify Lover Boy though, that's another like killer album. And that's really hard for me to. Again, Drake is just so hard for me to put into one box of a category.

SPEAKER_00

No, because he's all over the fucking place. Quite literally.

SPEAKER_01

Quite literally. Okay, let's switch over. P and D. I'm a big PD fan. Um, so this list was actually, I think, I could jot these down in like two minutes when I was doing this draft. Brandon, it was like two times five for you to it was like 20 minutes ago. I was like Okay, so it's like two times ten. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Number one, let's kick off the party with Welcome to the Party. If you okay, this album came out 2015. Yeah, something like that. Right out of right when we got out of high school, I think. It's the first song on his debut album. And when I heard it, I was like, oh my god. I literally feel like I was at a house party. Like I I felt like it was so relatable to that time in my life, and I just ran through the album like it was nothing. Very good. What about you? What you got?

SPEAKER_00

My number one is Persian Rugs. It's very flowy. It's a fucking song. No, it's actually a fucking song.

SPEAKER_01

It's actually a fucking song.

SPEAKER_00

It's a fucking song, but you're all you also fucked to it. Right. It it's a it's a if you haven't listened to it, it's very slow. Uh it's lots of piano.

SPEAKER_01

It's a lot of layers to it. Yeah. It's a lot of element.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It's a good song though.

SPEAKER_01

Good, good, good. Number two, Low Battery. This is off of an EP album he put out. Uh very different from like what he usually pro like produces and sings and whatnot. I don't know. I love it. There's a lyric in here that I'm going to look up real quick. Because when I heard it for the first time, I was like, why'd you just repeat yourself? I it took me a long time to run back and be like, I actually think I had to. Oh, not the album. I want the person. Thank you. Thank you. I actually had to read the lyrics. And I was like.

SPEAKER_00

That album cover is crazy.

SPEAKER_01

What his I know. Yeah. I love that though. Let me turn down my volume because I know this is fixing a play if I hit this. So in Low Battery Off of His Colors album, he's basically just trying to talk to this girl. And what he says, have you ever lied? It's a dumb question, baby girl, because everybody lies. And I was like, I could take that one of two ways where it's like we're actually talking about lying, like a deceptive, whatever. Or have you ever lied? Because everybody, everybody lies. Like, oh, have you had sex with someone? Oh, that's a stupid question because everyone fucks everyone. I was like, I was goked and gagged on that one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I love PND though. That did not surprise me after I kind of figured it all out. What is your number two?

SPEAKER_00

Number two is What's Good Curious?

SPEAKER_01

That's popular on the Tiki Talkie, is it not?

SPEAKER_00

Um I don't know, actually. I don't think I've ever heard on TikTok. Really? Uh-uh. But it's a good song. Also a uh good to fuck song.

SPEAKER_01

A boom chicka like a boom boom song. Yeah, exactly. I love it. Number three, Her Way. I posted this on my private story on SAP chat a couple weeks ago. In my top five PD. Obviously, I it's on my it's three right now. Uh Her Way, great. That album I probably would say is my favorite PD album is The Party Next Door, Volume 2.

SPEAKER_00

Never heard of it.

SPEAKER_01

It's on your top list.

SPEAKER_00

Girl, I haven't heard this song. Okay, see, I know more tracks than I do, PD. These two okay, these three songs right here, and maybe this fourth song, and maybe Preach. That's really like I can I can hear it in my head. Everything else, I'm like, I have to think about it.

SPEAKER_01

Her way is the one she gets her way. That one. Uh oh, okay, okay. Anyways, what's your what's your number three?

SPEAKER_00

Uh my number three is Break from Toronto.

SPEAKER_01

That's a good one.

SPEAKER_00

Um, also slash girl with the tattoo. Girl with the dragon tattoo. Yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Bomb.

SPEAKER_00

With uh what's his name? Uh Miguel.

SPEAKER_01

Miguel. Yeah. I just saw something on TikTok of him doing a live show. I would love to see him live. He sounds amazing.

SPEAKER_00

I'm pretty sure he sounds similar, if not better.

SPEAKER_01

Live than he is. Yeah. No, I would agree.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Number four for me for PD is Grown Woman. Again, it's all the same album. Nothing else to say about it.

SPEAKER_00

Heard. Uh number four for me is Come and See Me with Drake.

SPEAKER_01

Not a feature.

SPEAKER_00

Um good fucking song. Yeah. Not it. It's just a good. I can't keep saying that.

SPEAKER_01

You can't, because people are being like, okay, is he fucking to the song or is it just a good fucking song?

SPEAKER_00

Rephrase it. I'm like, this is a good song to fuck to.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, literally. A boom chakalaka.

SPEAKER_00

Good fucking song. Love the song.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, love. Uh number five is Don't Run for Me. Um, Don't Run is so good. It's off of the Party Next Door, Volume Three. To me, when I hear this song, it just tells a story of a girl who kind of grew up, chose the wrong path, realized it later on down the road, and then found her way out of it. I love that song. It's very poetic to me, and it has a nice beat behind it. So that is my numb five.

SPEAKER_00

My number five is uh fuck with you. Such a good song. That's a good one. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh PGT. That's my number six. That's off of the party mobile.

unknown

Fuck.

SPEAKER_01

That's such a good song. To me, when that song comes on, I'm just like in my car. I'm like shaking your titties. Shaking my titties. I'm like shaking my ass a little bit. I love it.

SPEAKER_00

Period.

SPEAKER_01

Period, Pooh. What about you?

SPEAKER_00

Uh six, uh, ironically, is her way.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, seven, another day. Again, off of the party mobile album.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's a good one too. I should have added that one. That's a goddamn so good. I knew I was missing one.

SPEAKER_01

What about you? Seven. He's gonna probably listen to it. Hang on.

SPEAKER_00

There's things I should have done before we started recording.

SPEAKER_01

I think it's so funny because when we were writing this down, guys, he did this exact same thing because he was like, I just don't he doesn't have party next door in his rotation like that. And so we did this like a week ago. And so I think it's so funny that we're having to do it again.

SPEAKER_00

Let me just add that to my favorites.

SPEAKER_01

As he adds it.

SPEAKER_00

Number seven for me is belong to the city.

SPEAKER_01

She belongs to the city. Yeah, that's a good one.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know what it actually sounds like. I just listened to the intro of it. It sounds good.

SPEAKER_01

So he'll listen to it on the way home.

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna listen with Melly, so. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Uh number eight for me is West District. That's off of another EP album that he had. Um I know. I like the beat, I like the tone. A lot of his EP albums I'm I really fuck with hard. Sometimes I fuck with the EPs more than I do his actual um albums. And I kind of feel that way about uh Ty Dollar sign as well. Because I feel like Ty Dollar sign does so well on like features and like on his on EPs, but if he was to produce an album, I'm just like you know what I mean.

SPEAKER_00

He's only good as features.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Sorry, Ty.

SPEAKER_00

Love you though. Love you. If you're probably not listening, but love you.

SPEAKER_01

Is he even is he even like he's about to put out an album. I just saw him do a promotion.

SPEAKER_00

I haven't heard shit from him in a while.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. He uh he's just about to put out an album.

SPEAKER_00

Interesting. Um number eight? Yep. Uh my number eight is loyal.

SPEAKER_01

Loyal is good as fuck.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Party mobile album.

SPEAKER_00

Yep. Yerp.

SPEAKER_01

Yerp. Yerp. Number nine? I can't say this word.

SPEAKER_00

You can do it.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_00

Can we say it?

SPEAKER_01

No, I really can't.

SPEAKER_00

You want me to say it?

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

Rendezvous.

SPEAKER_01

See, you want to you want to fucking talk about words that don't look like how they sound. That is one of them.

SPEAKER_00

How would you have pronounced it? I'm curious.

SPEAKER_01

Run uh, rent. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Are you gay?

SPEAKER_01

I'm not gay.

SPEAKER_00

You are gay.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, bitch. Number nine. What do you got?

SPEAKER_00

Uh freaking you.

SPEAKER_01

Freaking you is good. That's off of the colors EP. That's a really good one.

SPEAKER_00

I think how you just know all this information.

SPEAKER_01

I'm an elephant. I have an elephant brain. You have a goldfish brain. That's why people can't come for me with like memories and stuff like that. Because I got it locked and sealed, bitch. Or I have receipts.

SPEAKER_00

You got uh you got my mom's brain. I do uh I think she has an elephant brain too.

SPEAKER_01

She really does because she can remember anything.

SPEAKER_00

Literally.

SPEAKER_01

We love you, mom.

SPEAKER_00

Love you, mom.

SPEAKER_01

Love you, mom.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know if you're listening anymore, but you know what?

SPEAKER_01

I would not be surprised if she like tunes in on random ones. I think she does.

SPEAKER_00

Especially since Because like last week or the week before she texted me and she was like, I just listened to your podcast, and I was like, which one? I was like, when'd you stop? She was like, Jesus Christ, Brandon.

SPEAKER_01

It's so funny because you're so for people who obviously do not know this, um, Brandon's mom is traveling in like healthcare, and so she's gone. She takes contracts for long periods of time. And so I can almost bet you that she listens to podcasts, our podcasts, just like to hear you.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I feel like she does, because so like her contracts are 13 weeks uh such a long time. And she's in North Carolina right now. Aw. She's way the fuck out there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because usually she's in she's usually in Cali.

SPEAKER_00

Cali. Yeah. Or Arizona.

SPEAKER_01

Is she liking it over there right now?

SPEAKER_00

No, she hates it. Oh no. She hates it. It's really slow, apparently. So she's just She's got plenty of time to listen to our podcast. I love it. Scares the shit out of me.

SPEAKER_01

But it's fine. It's fine, it's fine. Okay, so we have one more on P and D. Mine is Lose My Mind. It's off of his most recent solo album. The one with the back shots, what we were just talking about.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So good.

SPEAKER_00

With that girl.

SPEAKER_01

With with that girl.

SPEAKER_00

With that girl. Yeah. And that big old juicy ass.

SPEAKER_01

Big old juicy ass. It says P and D as a tramp stamp tattoo. Period. Love. Okay, what's your 10?

SPEAKER_00

My number 10 is Preach with Drake.

unknown

Preach.

SPEAKER_01

That's a good one. Yeah. When we flew to Miami, that's what was playing in my ear.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, really? Yep.

SPEAKER_01

I'm in Miami.

SPEAKER_00

I keep it.

SPEAKER_01

Preach. Preach. Really? Stinky.

SPEAKER_00

I had In N Out for lunch, and girl loom onions are hitting.

SPEAKER_01

Where'd you have In N Out at from?

SPEAKER_00

I made it at my house.

SPEAKER_01

Oh.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It's like a knockoff version. But it's good enough until I can actually have it.

SPEAKER_01

Do you think they'll ever bring one here? You don't think so?

SPEAKER_00

I doubt it. I think I think the closest one we'll get is maybe Kansas City.

SPEAKER_01

I could see that.

SPEAKER_00

Or Oklahoma City, one of the bigger cities for sure.

SPEAKER_01

I hate that. If Cheesecake Factory can come here, so can you.

SPEAKER_00

They brought Whataburger to Kansas City. So Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well that's courtesy of Mr. Mr. Mahomes. Yep. Yep. Okay. Do you have a favorite PD album or is this gonna be hard?

SPEAKER_00

I have three favorite songs.

SPEAKER_01

And that's as good as we're gonna get. I said it earlier, his second uh solo album is my favorite one, and I will never change that, no matter what anyone says. That's right. Um, so going Drake Drake, PD, PND, looking at it, because we also, I don't know if you guys can probably tell we had to write these down. Lord knows, even with his brain and my brain, there's no way we could have remembered.

SPEAKER_00

We could we had to write it down. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So like looking at it on a piece of paper, if you looked at my list and your list, without being biased, who has the better of each?

SPEAKER_00

Mine.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I think myself and our entire fan base would be saying you're fucking full of shit.

SPEAKER_00

So let me let me just say, I think my Drake top ten is better, and your PD is better than mine.

SPEAKER_01

You know what? Just for the sake of that's just a matter of opinion. It isn't a matter of opinion. It's the wrong opinion. But it's just the matter. It's a lot of fun. Well, it's my opinion. And it's wrong.

SPEAKER_00

That's right. So get absolutely fucking wrecked.

SPEAKER_01

I told you guys we were gonna argue about this.

SPEAKER_00

And I said what I said.

SPEAKER_01

And he said what he said. He's wrong, but he said what he said, and we're just gonna let him have it.

SPEAKER_00

What if I just chose violence right now?

SPEAKER_01

Then we'd have to break into another elevator music because I'll get the blicky in the in the not the fucking blicky.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, well Elmo's leaving.

SPEAKER_01

Elmo's Elmo has to go home.

SPEAKER_00

That's some bullshit. You can't bring a gun to a knife flight. To a knife flight. A knife fight. Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

Well, there's no rules against it. Sorry. If there's no contract that says I can't bring the blicky.

SPEAKER_00

That's cheating.

SPEAKER_01

To a knife fight.

SPEAKER_00

That's some pussy shit.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, my cat's about to piss me off. We need to wrap this up. Okay, so kind of going into what I said earlier. Do you have a favorite song of the week that you want to let our listeners know? And maybe they can listen to it and be like, oh, that's the vibe he's on this week.

SPEAKER_00

Um, I think with Since I just saw Bad Omens and President and Beartooth uh this past weekend, um I'm gonna go with Rage by President. Such a good fucking song.

SPEAKER_01

That's a good one.

SPEAKER_00

Um it's very it's very much metal, but it also has some like higher notes in there too. It's a good song.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I think mine is by a band I think I mentioned in the last episode or the episode before, um, by the Windwalkers. It's called Funeral Berloons. It's off of their EP album that just was released not too long ago. I consider this band, they're labeled as like heavy metal. I don't believe that. I think that they're heavy rock with like sexy slutty mixed into it. It's kind of like the So Far So Fake by Pierce the Veil. Yeah. That's what that's the vibe that this song gives me.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

So that's mine, hell yeah, brother. So I think that's kind of how we want to start wrapping things up. Is that right? I think that's so fun. Yeah, mama. Oh, love. Okay, well, guys, until next time, don't forget to enjoy the little things like Drake versus PD or your favorite little rock song.

SPEAKER_00

I'm Ashley.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm Brandon, and this is Committed Technically.
