Hey, hi, how you doing? Welcome back. What the fuck's up, gang? Um you wonder what I realized last time we had a conversation. Um, we talked about everything else, like the baby, your relationship, jobs, yada yada, everything in between. I did not ask, nor I guess nor did you ask, but how 4th of July went. The reason we took a week off and then turned into an extra three week. It was a month. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It was literally a month. Oh, your fourth. It was good, actually. I got drunk. Peruge. Peruge, like you said. Yeah. On the last yeah, in the last episode. Because I remember specifically being like, how do you know I'm gonna get drunk? And then you looked at me crazy, by the way.
SPEAKER_02How do I how do I know that the sun is yellow? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00You said some shit like that. You were right, but um it was good though. No, we just um hung out at um Faggy Woolley's house and with King Neptune or and or Voldemort's nut sack.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, I forgot we did that too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he doesn't like that, by the way.
SPEAKER_02What, yours?
SPEAKER_00You just said to Bolt Voldemort's nutsak.
SPEAKER_02Oh well that that's your doing, so I'm gonna keep saying it.
SPEAKER_00Fuck you. You know who you are. Um but yeah, no, we just hung out there. It was um faguli's I can't even say with his right face. Um hung out at Fagioli's house. That's really hard to say. It is Fag Fagioli? Yeah, fagioli. Fag Fagioli. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's a lot of okay it's a lot of it's a lot of rolling off the tongue.
SPEAKER_00It is. Uh we hung out at her house, her mom's house. Um some of her family came over. Yeah. And um shot some shit off, drank a little bit, made some foods. Um, their neighbors went crazy with the fireworks. So we didn't really buy much.
SPEAKER_02Uh because why would you when they can get on the show for you?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we got it for free.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Love that.
SPEAKER_00Um, I bought a cake. Well, actually, we didn't buy anything. Fucking King Neptune knows everybody in this goddamn city. And the tent we went to, they knew him. So we they gave us um a f two free cakes. Nice. Which were like 60 bucks a piece. Yeah. And then we got some like small stuff, but which was pretty cool. Um one of the cakes I lit um fell over and shot at us. Not really shot at us, but like we're like disperted? Kinda. Yeah. It was it was a little um scary. Skewy.
SPEAKER_02Skewy. Sounds skewy. Skewy.
SPEAKER_00Um, but yeah, no, it was good. Good. Yeah. How about you?
SPEAKER_02Um, so we went to my mom's house. Um, my dad, who's who's passed on, it was one of his favorite holidays, too. So I always try to go see my mom. We swam by we, I mean me and her, because Jimmy does not do the water. So he sat on the side and just uh he's he can't swim. He can't swim.
SPEAKER_00Just having a shallow end.
SPEAKER_02He d I think it's a general fear of of water. Yeah, water in general. Yeah. So he just kind of hung out, and then we went out to um a friend's parents' house out kind of a round yonder out here, because they have some property. And her dad always does this really big, like 4th of July show. They have a really beautiful in-ground salted pool. And so we got in that and we ate tons of food because everyone, of course, always brings something. It's potluck style, and so so much food, so much, you know, alcohol. I wasn't obviously drinking, but Jimmy had a grand old time. He killed a whole bottle of Jameson by himself. Um, his drink of choice that night that gave that everyone gave him shit for was um an Irish mule. Like, why are you drinking an Irish mule on the 4th of July? So, like beer and so Jameson instead of vodka. Right. Your choice of vodka. So JMO and ginger. Ginger beer, mint, lime. That's it. That's all you get. It's actually really good. It's a really good drink. It's kind of it's really refreshing. The mint and the the the lime with the ginger beer is really good, and you get that that's I like Jameson though, so like the swoop of the the whiskey at the end.
SPEAKER_00Jameson, I don't like I don't like meals though.
SPEAKER_02Oh, really? Not really. Um but yeah, no, that's really all we did. And then I drove us back home, and that was it. It was great. Um, but something else also that I kind of was doing over that that weekend, because I got off what was it, that Friday. Jimmy had to work still. I started watching Criminal Minds, like the older criminal minds, and I ran into an episode of them talking about a criminal that they're hunting down. Um you know how the show goes.
SPEAKER_00I don't actually have never seen it.
SPEAKER_02You've never seen Criminal Minds, so they're profilers.
SPEAKER_00I don't I don't really like shows like that.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Um anyways, okay, it's a show about FBI profilers. People who like analysise, oh, he must live in his mom's basement. As he gets through the middle finger. Um like shit like that. And so they were talking about this guy they were hunting down because he he seemed to be having like hallucinive thoughts. And they were trying to like figure out what to reference it to, and then when the smart guy on the show goes, has anyone ever heard of the Mandela effect? And he explains what the Mandela effect is. Oh I said, Holy shit, that'd be a really cool topic to talk about because we've talked about Love the transition, boom. So good. Thank you, thank you.
SPEAKER_00Also, how about you eat the cheese it and shut the fuck up?
SPEAKER_02How about that? I had I had to throw a little tea little shade, you know what I mean? To be fair, it's like your own apartment in this in this jome. In this jome.
SPEAKER_00It's full free.
SPEAKER_02It is full free. Full free nine. So, anyways, we're gonna talk about the Mandela effect today, if that's okay with you. Okay, let it go. Take a moment and picture the fruit of the loom logo that's on the tag. Got it? Now, what's behind the fruit? If you said a cornucopia, apparently you're very wrong. Welcome to Command and Technically, where this week we're planning to talk about the tricks on your mind. Or maybe you've already done that to yourself. Just think about it. Let's chatting yet. So, do you know the background of the Mandela effect? Do you know why it's named the way it's named?
SPEAKER_00Um, isn't it from like Nelson Mandela?
SPEAKER_02It is. Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER_00So I don't really know much about him, but I've heard about him.
SPEAKER_02So originally the Mandela effect was coined by paranormal researcher Fiona Broom. Um, she discovered that herself and thousands of others distinctly remembered the South African president Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s. Here's the plot choice, though. He actually did not die, and he was alive until 2013. So I'm gonna ask you a couple questions. I'm gonna see if you can answer that. No, don't look at it. You're trying to cheat. You're trying to cheat. Okay, go ahead. You fucking shithead, you're trying to cheat. Okay. So do you remember? Do you know that the the bear family from the books? The where it was it the Berstein or the Berstein bears that you remember growing up?
SPEAKER_00I thought it was the Bernstein bears.
SPEAKER_02That's what I always thought it was. The Baris Berenstein Bears. No.
SPEAKER_00S-T-E-N or S-T-I-N.
SPEAKER_02S-T-E-I-N, yeah.
SPEAKER_00But it was just like pronounced differently?
SPEAKER_02No. Now it the Mandela effect says it's always it's always been the Berristein Bears. S-T-A as an apple. I-N.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_02And there's that. And there's the fact check. Um did Curious George have a swinging tail? I don't think he had a tail.
SPEAKER_00You don't think he had a tail? Uh-oh. I don't remember seeing it.
SPEAKER_02Well, and you would be right. I would have been wrong because I'm thinking monkeys have tails.
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah. I I just don't think I'm trying to remember. It's been so long since I've seen that show.
SPEAKER_02Like your niece probably doesn't watch Curious George or anything like that.
SPEAKER_00No, girl, she loves so much Miss Rachel.
SPEAKER_02Oh, Miss Rachel. You know what? We love Miss Ray Miss Rachel. You don't like Miss Rachel?
SPEAKER_00I've watched it so many fucking times.
SPEAKER_02Oh, so it's a personal it's okay.
SPEAKER_00I can't. I just can't.
SPEAKER_02She's for the girls, the gays, the they's, and the children.
SPEAKER_00She is. She is. But I think I just hate kids' shows. I think I hate them. If we put some blues clues on, I'll watch that show.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00So But that was my show when I was growing up.
SPEAKER_02It's almost like we gotta find like non-stimulating shows that we can also watch with our kids.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know? So I think like Spongebob is very stimulating. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_00Isn't that what you said?
SPEAKER_02Non-stimulating.
SPEAKER_00Oh non-stimulating.
SPEAKER_02Something that that won't get them riled up. Like blues codes would probably be a good one.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, probably.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Anyways. Anyways. Okay. So is it Looney Tunes? Like T Shut up.
SPEAKER_00This is the one I was gonna do.
SPEAKER_02Is it Looney Tunes? Like T O O N S.
SPEAKER_00That's Yeah. Is it it's tunes or T O. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Tunes are tunes.
SPEAKER_00T O O N S or T-U-N-E-S.
SPEAKER_02Right. And you always said O O N S. Yeah. Okay, me too. Yeah. Um apparently that's very wrong. Um there's something called them the Merry Melodies theory, and that it's always been tunes all the way back to when Looney Tunes started.
SPEAKER_00That doesn't make any sense though. It's literally a cartoon. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I know. I'm just saying it's the Mandela effect. They're really trying to rewrite. They're wrong. Oh, right. Right.
SPEAKER_00Front gaslight me, you motherfuckers. Literally.
SPEAKER_02There's some other things too, though, like pop culture and misquoted movies. And this is what rage baited the shit out of me when I was doing the research for this podcast episode. Um, because everyone knows Star Wars, right? Have you seen all the Star Wars?
SPEAKER_00Unfortunately.
SPEAKER_02You didn't like any of the Star Wars? They're so boring. Oh girl, please. Anyways. What who are you? Are you a fucking Lord of the Rings guy?
SPEAKER_00I I love Meet some Lord of the Rings. I've only watched it once. I need to watch it again, actually. Which is really crazy because like I love space stuff. You love space stuff. Yeah. And I just did not like it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_00I fell asleep actually during the case. That was when me and uh Voldemort's Not Sack were together.
SPEAKER_02Did he make you watch them?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00They're really good. That was his birthday present.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_00One of them.
SPEAKER_02Love that. Yeah. Um, okay, so even if you weren't a Star Wars guy, you've heard the phrase of Darth Vader talking to Luke Skywalker when they're on the beam.
SPEAKER_00And what is the final scene?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. And what does he say? What does Darth Vader say to Luke Skywalker?
SPEAKER_00Pretty sure it was like Luke, I am your father.
SPEAKER_02Right. That's what everyone always says, right? Luke, I am your father. And he screams, no, and then does the whole finishing of the fight scene, right? Yeah. Uh, we would be wrong. Apparently, what he's actually saying is, no, I am your father. Which, if I'm trying to remember correctly, Luke didn't ask if that if he was his father.
SPEAKER_00Oh, because he was just saying it like he was just saying it to say it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00From well, I don't know. I don't remember.
SPEAKER_02I can't remember the actual scene anyway.
SPEAKER_00Well, I also fell asleep, so.
SPEAKER_02If you're a Star Wars fan, please reach out to Kamina Technically and let us know. Because um, I never heard no. I always heard Luke. But apparently it's no, I am your father. And apparently it's also been made into many parodies, like Toy Story 2 did a parody of it, Tommy Boy did a parody of it, of the Luke, I am your father, and then changing it. Interesting. I know, isn't it crazy? I'm pretty sure it's Luke, I am your father. I'm pretty that would make the most sense to me. Um, but who the fuck are we, right? Girl. Uh another one is Risky Business. I know you told me that you'd never seen this movie before. Uh Risky Business is the one with Tom Cruise and the famous scene of him sliding.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he's uh pantsless and he's just wearing like a white button-down shirt with like socks and shit.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And he's seeing in his dancing, he's doing all the fun stuff. So during that famous dance scene, Tom Cruise wasn't actually wearing sunglasses. But how people always portray, like with Halloween costumes, I guess I should say. So like all all the girlies and the guys who dress up as Tom Cruise from Risky Business wear the socks.
SPEAKER_00I think he was wearing sunglasses.
SPEAKER_02That's the Mandela effect of it. Apparently, he's not wearing sunglasses at all. And that he's just wearing white, like Nike, yeah, like Nike long socks.
SPEAKER_00Like gym socks. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And a white button-down shirt.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02And his tidy whiteies. Yeah. That's all. No sunglasses. But how everyone dresses up for Halloween, you put the black sunglasses on that hoe. Yeah. And everyone's like, oh my god, you're Tom Cruise from Risky Business.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Mandela effect.
SPEAKER_00Girl. They're really trying to gaslight us.
SPEAKER_02I'm telling you. Another one from like pop culture standpoint is Silence of the Lambs. I love this movie. In that movie, obviously we're talking about hen of Elector.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_02And so when she goes and visits him in the prison, he just looks up and says, Hello, Clarice.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_02Apparently that's wrong. Apparently the Mandela effect is telling us that he all he says is good morning. Which is completely opposite as to what I would think it would be.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_02Hello, Clarice. It's literally in commercials.
SPEAKER_00It's it's literally hello, Clarice. Yeah. It's not good morning. Or maybe it could be like good morning, Clarice, or no, that still doesn't sound right.
SPEAKER_02No. That's a Mandela effect. Trippin'. Should be tripping. A couple other ones that I found that I was like, this is so crazy. Like the more you like kind of unpack Mandela itself is like Pikachu. Did you were you were you a Pokemon guy?
SPEAKER_00Sort of. I saw like the the remake they did with Ryan Reynolds. Did you watch that one?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_00Oh you should watch it. That's good.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he had a black stripe up on his tail. That was not English. I don't know what I just said.
SPEAKER_02No, but I I I got you. Okay. I'm glad you understood. I understood you.
SPEAKER_00Um if you didn't understand me, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_02Apparently they're saying that he doesn't have a black stripe on his tail.
SPEAKER_00Get fucked.
SPEAKER_02So violent on that one. That one got Brandon. Uh you mentioned this when we went out to grow with a couple of friends of ours for a birthday celebration. Yeah. Um, Kit Kat. Where'd the fuck the hyphen go?
SPEAKER_00There's always been a hyphen.
SPEAKER_02There's not anymore. If you were to go buy Kit Kat at the Dollar General upstreet, it would not have a hyphen in it.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna.
SPEAKER_02Oh, he's gonna pull out the Google. Dr. Google's coming out. Dr. Google didn't come out last episode. That's crazy. I feel like Dr. Google comes out every single episode. Can't gotta make his appearance.
SPEAKER_00Where's the fucking hyphen at? It was yeah, it looked like that. Yep.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Ooh, where'd it go? Yeah, it's gone now. Mandela effect.
SPEAKER_00Unless they just changed their logo.
SPEAKER_02No. Maybe. It could have.
SPEAKER_00Interesting. Yeah. Um, there's a hyphen in there. I think it's sucking.
SPEAKER_02Look for it next time you go to the the gas station. Last one is another one that we talked about at Grow is Fruit of the Loom, which I mentioned in our hook for this episode. Yeah, yeah. Fruit of the loom, fruit of the loom. Missing cornucopia question mark? Because this one kind of goes deep. Uh apparently. I mean you mentioned this.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there was always a cornucopia behind like the apples and shit. Like the fruit. The fruit.
SPEAKER_02And you can kind of you can go back and research it. And like people have actually found old t-shirts with the cornucopia in the background, but Fruit Alloom has come out and said that there's never been cornucopia behind it. Which is insane.
SPEAKER_00Back to the fucking gaslighting.
SPEAKER_02Stop it.
SPEAKER_00Knock it off.
SPEAKER_02Just trying to warp the mind. Trying to warp it.
SPEAKER_00Or we switch timelines.
SPEAKER_02You know what? Yeah. We're gonna get into that. No, because I literally I literally wrote it because Brandon has brought up something that I had no idea that that it was even a thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I'm talking about the the CERN.
SPEAKER_02The CERN. Do you want to talk about the CERN?
SPEAKER_00So if y'all don't know what this is, it's a particle accelerator in the middle of uh like a Switzerland uh town townscape, I guess. It's underground, it's like this secret fucking facility, nobody can really get into it. Um but basically what they're doing is they're smashing atoms together to create the god particle. The god particle. I put air quotes because I don't really know what that is, but it's like there's this huge conspiracy about it. It's like when they when they turn it off, which they've done every four years for some reason, and they just turned it off, which means we switched timelines.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy. I did not know this was a thing. He was trying to explain it to me over like Snapchat one day, and I said, I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. We need to pause and we'll we'll revisit this. And so I end up writing it down in here because I was like, Oh, he's gonna love to talk about this. It's called um explaining reinforcement once a parody is used the wrong way, um, or we see an alternate image, we replace that with the actual memory, or it could be the CERN as hopping off timeline, pure gaslighting.
SPEAKER_00So the last time they turned it off was 2020 or 2022. It was right before COVID hit. So every time they've turned it off, something major globally has happened.
SPEAKER_02Well, maybe if they turn it off, maybe something will happen with the big orange bitch in the office.
SPEAKER_00Girl, Mitch McConnell and then that other bitch died. When's he gonna go?
SPEAKER_02I'm telling you.
SPEAKER_00They can all go.
SPEAKER_02You know, easy dry erase. Like, let's just start over. Erase the board.
SPEAKER_00Did you not to get it political, but did you hear that he's trying to implement for him to run a third term?
SPEAKER_02I saw that. I saw that, and I I've heard people I've never watched the whole thing, right? I don't like it. I don't like political, like, I hate him. I get political about certain things. Um fucking I never so I never watched the full speech. I really can't tell if people are it i i if it's true, like he's actually pushing for it, or if he did it as a joke. Because he was joking a lot, I did see during his speech. He's he thinks he's a funny guy.
SPEAKER_01You know he thinks that's so funny. That's so funny.
SPEAKER_00You know what he is? He's a piece of shit.
SPEAKER_02And a pedophile and a rapist.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. Right.
SPEAKER_02And come for me. Right. Like, hello. No, I saw that and I was like, I would be really surprised.
SPEAKER_00When are you gonna die and stop running our lives? That's a quote, was it from what? That's a quote what I just said.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. What's it from?
unknownAmerican Horror Star.
SPEAKER_02Which season?
SPEAKER_00Coven.
SPEAKER_02Everyone loves Coven. And you know what? Everyone would think I would love Coven. Given given my what I practice. Yeah. Yeah. Uh given what I practice. Uh no, my favorite one's Asylum. I stand ten toes down on Asylum. The second season.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I thought you said Sylem. I was like, what the fuck is silum?
SPEAKER_02What's Sylem, bitch? Asylum is really good. Yeah, Asylum is my favorite one.
SPEAKER_00Coven will always be my favorite.
SPEAKER_02I love that they're doing another coven. Did you see that? Are you excited?
SPEAKER_00I'm so excited. I need to catch up. I've not watched Past Circus.
SPEAKER_02You know what? That's valid. I haven't watched Past Freak Show either.
SPEAKER_00But I want to watch I want to watch Rogan Roanoke and I want to watch Apocalypse.
SPEAKER_02I'm lying. I watch a little bit of Roanoke because Kathy Bates is in. No, maybe I didn't. No, I didn't because New Orleans is is Coven. Girl, I don't know. I remember watching Freak Show. I remember that me distinctly watching Freak Show, and I think that's it. I think you're right.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02Um But yeah. That's our take on the Mandela effect. Uh what do you guys think? Is it the CERN? Is it our brains taking shortcuts? Because we can only process so much information at a time. Or do we see something? Because if you remember, if you're remembering something, it's a memory of a memory of a memory of a memory, right?
SPEAKER_00But there's also proof that it actually did exist though. Like there's pictures of it.
SPEAKER_02You just have to find it.
SPEAKER_00But also back to the certain really quick.
SPEAKER_02Um they shot He's not done.
SPEAKER_00Uh they shut it down because they're building a fucking bigger one, a bigger particle accelerator.
SPEAKER_02I don't understand. I'm too dumb for that stuff. My brain doesn't work like that.
SPEAKER_00Why are we fucking with atoms? Leave it alone. Why are you trying to fuck up our timelines, bro?
SPEAKER_02I can't. I can't. This this timeline's fucked enough. Let's not try to hop to another timeline and then that one be just as more fucked as the one that we're in currently.
SPEAKER_00Well, maybe it'll be a good thing. Maybe the big orchard bench will die.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Just that whole cabinet, you know.
SPEAKER_02Brennan's stuck on the whole cabinet. He said, I'm not gonna get political, but the whole cabinet can die.
SPEAKER_00They can all die. Rot in hell.
SPEAKER_02Perr.
SPEAKER_00Um I have some examples.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. Perfect.
SPEAKER_00Chick-fil-A. With or without the K.
SPEAKER_02Chick. Like in the chick part? Yeah. So you wanna know what's so funny? I think I remember you saying something like this. I don't remember chick actually being spelled out like chick. I think I remember it was like C-H-I-K.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Filet. But I literally drove by because I work out east, and so sometimes I drive, like, especially when with the babies appointments, I take Central down to like Wesley. And so I drive by Chick-fil-A. Yeah. And it's C-H-I-C-K. But I know I don't know, I never thought it was that.
SPEAKER_00I always thought it was C A it was C H I C F L A.
SPEAKER_02Oh, was it? So there was no K at all?
SPEAKER_00Uh-uh.
SPEAKER_02I always thought there was a K. I'm pretty sure that's Let me let me let me just Because when I every time I remember like the cows writing it, I I thought they they spelled chick like C-H-I.
SPEAKER_00Wait, so there is a K now?
SPEAKER_02Or no, yeah, no, it is a K.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I always thought it was C H I C. And there was no K.
SPEAKER_02To be fair, I never really ate Chick-fil-A because I didn't either.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. We don't support the homophobes.
SPEAKER_02The homophobic chicken?
SPEAKER_00No, sometimes we do. Sometimes they kind of slay it. Do you know those little bowls that we used to make? We get the like the large mac and cheese. I still eat fries. I still do. I do too. I do too.
SPEAKER_02I remember when we got COVID for the very first time. And we got COVID at the same time. And we went to Chick-fil-A and we were starting to feel a little bit better. And that's what we got. We're the loaded bowls of mac and cheese. Yeah, that sounds good. You don't got one around here. That sucks. That sucks.
SPEAKER_00We literally have a fucking Dollar General and a gas station. That's it. The closest like any fast food place is Goddard. Which isn't there that far, but still though.
SPEAKER_02Still a hot skip and a thrust away, you know. Yeah. There's no Chick-fil-A there either.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, there's not. There's not. Well, I don't eat Chick-fil-A that much, so okay, uh Fruit Loops. How do you spell it?
SPEAKER_02Fruit Loops?
SPEAKER_00Fruit loops.
SPEAKER_02Like fruit. Loops. L-O-O-P-S.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, okay. Uh so you said like fruit F R U I T Yeah. Um that's how it is now, but I thought it was F-R-O-O-T.
SPEAKER_02See, I'm so bad at this with your ones because like don't eat Chick-fil-A, didn't used to eat Chick-fil-A. I Fruit Loops, never ate Fruit Loops as a kid. No. No, I never liked I wasn't a cereal person. I'm a very weird person, if you can't tell. I don't like cereal. I don't like milk. If I do cereal, it's only captain crunched peanut butter. We never had Fruit Loops in the house.
SPEAKER_00I like I I thought about Fruit Loops a little bit. They were alright.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I can't I can't I can't validate or or dis disvalidate what you're saying.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well for me personally, because I still like I still do like Fruit Loops. Um I thought it was always F R O O T.
SPEAKER_02So interesting.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And then the next one. Oh go ahead.
SPEAKER_02Fruit was just the one with the the cinnamon stick guy, isn't it?
SPEAKER_00No, that was Captain uh Captain Jax.
SPEAKER_02Huh. The one that looked like a stoner, and then all of a sudden now he's like sober. It was the apple cinnamon. Oh apple cinnamon, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I can't remember the name. I think it was like fuck.
SPEAKER_02It's apple jacks.
SPEAKER_00Applejacks. Applejacks. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Perfect. Nope, then never mind. I digress. Good.
SPEAKER_00Damn, I forgot about that one too. That one was ass. Sorry. Okay, my last one is Okay, so peanut butter. Yeah. Right.
SPEAKER_02I love peanut butter.
SPEAKER_00Jiff or GIF. No. Jiffy. Was it Jiffy or is it Jif?
SPEAKER_02It's Jiffy. Jiffy peanut butter.
SPEAKER_00It's Jif now.
SPEAKER_02Did they drop the F the extra FY?
SPEAKER_00I thought it was Jiffy.
SPEAKER_02I still call it Jiffy. Jiffy peanut butter. Yeah. That's uh literally in our cabinet at home right now.
SPEAKER_00It's JIF.
SPEAKER_02It's like he went from Jeffrey to Jeff. Yeah. Yeah, basically. He stopped using the government name and just dropped it a little bit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's Jiff now.
SPEAKER_02Ugh.
SPEAKER_00I thought it was Jiffy.
SPEAKER_02That's weird. That that feels icky.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't like it. Yeah, me neither. These motherfuckers are trying to gaslight.
SPEAKER_02I'm so I'm still gonna call you Jeffrey. Jeffrey, Jiffy. Okay. So it's honestly insane. Before we kind of end things like how we normally end things, I gotta ask you, um, what is something that you're loving right now with music, with a show, with both? Anything pop in your head that you would like to share. Share with the class.
SPEAKER_00Hmm. Music. Well, last episode I said FLK. I've also been listening to a lot of sleep token. Because I fucks what you're doing.
SPEAKER_02You're kind of on a rotation.
SPEAKER_00Like you're I'm like skipping around.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like it's been honestly like all over the place. Like I'll stick with one artist and like listen to the shit out of them. And then I just move on to the next one. It's like Ethel Kane one day and then fucking hardcore death metal the next day.
SPEAKER_02And then spice girls the next day.
SPEAKER_00No, I'll listen to the spice girls.
SPEAKER_01Boo.
SPEAKER_00Don't boot me.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00Oh, wait.
SPEAKER_02You got a show or no? Um or can you only watch one thing at a time?
SPEAKER_00See, I tried to watch multiple things at once, and it does not work for me. Um I'm literally in the middle of three shows right now.
SPEAKER_02So what's what's another one that you're in? You said insecure last week.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Uh The Walking Dead as well. Like repeating. Yeah. Comfort show. Like the 10th fucking time, probably. Comfort show. Yeah. Yeah. Which is crazy because it's about zombies and yeah, but you like that shit. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You love the zombies.
SPEAKER_00I do love the zombies.
SPEAKER_02Uh song I've been listening to, the song called Value by John Spitnoff. It's really um RB soul. It's like real RB Soul. Gotcha. Really good. Check him out. Under I don't want to say underground artist, but he's he's not a real really well-known artist.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was gonna say I don't haven't heard of him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, go ahead check him out. It's really good. Um, movie show, sh uh movie. We saw Disclosure Day when it came out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was trying to see that.
SPEAKER_02That was that was good.
SPEAKER_00It was good.
SPEAKER_02That's right up your alley. That's that's one you should have seen in the theater. I don't know. If do you do movies by yourself? Sometimes. You start doing it more.
SPEAKER_00I think the last time I went to see a movie by myself was Project Helmanary.
SPEAKER_02Ooh, we did see that one too the other day. Well, I really wanted to see it in the theaters, so disclosure day is one that would have been really cool for you to see in the theater. Uh we enjoyed it a lot. I was kind of skeptical because I really don't do like you kind of get like the alien vibe from it. Extraterrestrial. I can't, it's hard for me to talk these days with baby brain. Extraterrestrial, sh, sh, shrub. It's not really my vibe, but I fucked with this movie. All right. Because it was more, it was kind of conspiracy theory on top of it, too.
SPEAKER_00Can you watch it now?
SPEAKER_02Uh I'm not sure if it's streaming anywhere now. Okay. It might. If not, it's close. Yeah. It's close. Um, yeah, really, really fucking good. If you haven't seen it, look where you could probably stream it at. I think it would um really tickle some of y'all's pickles, to be honest with you.
SPEAKER_00Not the tickly pickly.
SPEAKER_02The tickly pickly. All right, committed king.
SPEAKER_01Oh god, I tried to Okay, I gotta I gotta we gotta go.
