Well, hello there guys. I hope everybody is doing really well. Um, I am coming to you today to tell you about my crazy, ridiculous, scary, oh, so nervous uh decision that we made yesterday. Um yesterday, after my first show and getting things mailed off and everything, my assistant went home and then we were talking about when the next shows were gonna be, what I was gonna do. So I had a second show and I have 13 packages to get out. So yesterday I made around$500, but that is not including the cost of everything. That is not including how much I pay Sarah, which is$20 an hour as my assistant. So by the time it's all said and done, I really didn't make that much money for all the time of the procuring the items, the listing the items, the showing the items, the packing the items, the paying the assistant, the packing materials. When you add it all up, I'm guessing honestly, for two shows. I mean, if I'm gonna be really, really honest, I probably only made after paying for everything, the items and like everything I just said, I probably only made maybe 150 or 200 bucks. And that sounds so bad saying it out loud. That's true. That's that's the truth of yesterday. I only had like an average of I would say 16 people in the room or something in the first show, and in the second show, maybe 22 or something average. So very low numbers in both shows. Not sure why. Maybe it was because I did two back to back, I don't know. Anyways, so it's it says I made about 500 bucks for both the shows. Like I said, once you take out fees, items, whatever, it was probably more like I made about 150 bucks. And the first show was two hours, the second show was probably two hours plus plus all the shipping. And I'm looking at it and I'm like, gosh, how much money am I making hourly after you do this? What am I making like? I mean, I don't know. I feel like I'm making less money than I'm paying my assistant right now, and so I was like, okay, this is not going well. What the hell? And I get that I, you know, one was kind of a pop-up, and I had changed them and I had been off for six weeks. I've done a lot of things that haven't kept me consistent, guys. So because of different things going on and you know, whatever. Anyhow, I'm at 1245 today. I am gonna go on and I am going to do free shipping, which scares the hell out of me. Free shipping. That's f R-E-E. It means like you guys don't pay anything for shipping, I pay 100% of it. And I've never done this before. I've done the 921 shows, and that's the other reason that I'm like, okay, because yesterday both of my shows were 921 shows, but so I'm also paying for people's shipping. So I'm like, either I've got to ramp up and get more people in my shows by doing something crazy like the free shipping, or I've got to stop offering 921, or I've got to raise my prices, or some I've got to find a cheaper inventory somewhere. I I don't know. Something's got to happen where I can level up and make more money because yesterday, I mean, and it doesn't always happen like this, right? I you guys know if you're a seller, if you're a buyer, some shows are better than others. You know, that's just the way it is. And sometimes, I mean, I've had a show before and I made$2,800 profit and I was on for like three hours, maybe two and a half, maybe. It was fast, it was fun, and it was fantabulous, right? So I'm not saying that this is my usual. I'm saying that this is what happened, but I've got to level up. I've got to get more people in the room, I've got to figure out how to do it. With my conversation the other day about giveaways, Raffles and Chance, I can still do the giveaways. I've been just putting them in the buyer's thing. I've been thinking about doing everybody giveaways. I've never done that before, so I'm thinking about doing that. Um, I always put giveaways for raid trains, so I'm gonna do that. But anyways, Sarah and I were talking, it was like four o'clock, and I said, Sarah, what do you think? She goes, She goes, I don't know. I I, you know, I I'm not, she's not on whatnot, she doesn't buy on whatnot, whatever. And so she's like, What do you think? And I'm like, Well, if I do it and it sucks, I can get off. You know, I can back out, shut off the light, you know what I'm saying, say, okay, guys, show's over. Sorry, thanks for coming. And I hate that idea of doing that, you know, like 20 or 30 minutes into it, but I also hate the idea of being completely taken advantage of and losing money, you know, like legit losing money. And so it's like, how do you find that happy medium, especially when you're taking a huge risk? And the thing is, for me, I think I've got to just shut it down. I can't do a two or three hour show unless there's enough people in there buying and I'm getting rid of stuff and it's it's working for me. And so, yeah, I'm I'm gonna take the chance. I'm gonna try it. The reason, and this is another thing I'm a little nervous about. I never ever come on at 1245. I don't know if I've ever come on at that time. And so I don't know what the algorithm's gonna say. I don't know if there's other big things going on in that category vintage during that time, and other people will be over there. You know, I have no idea, but I'm gonna take the risk. I'm gonna take the chance. And I'm thinking that, you know, you guys can tune in. It's K-A-R-R-I, Carrie, and then Kennedy, K-E-N-N-E-D-Y. You can check at Central Time, 1245 Central Time. Come in, buy from me. It's free shipping. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. It's just, I'm just nervous, guys. I'm just scared. But either way, I wanted to let you know that number one, I'm gonna try it. We're we're gonna try it. Sarah will be over here. The reason I'm doing it at that time is because she has physical therapy for her ankle, which she broke last year. And um, and so what we're gonna do is have the show. And if it's going good, we'll stay on. If it's going bad, we'll get off. But either way, uh most it'll be just two hours. We've got to pack up stuff and she's got other places to go. But I'm just thinking we all have to stop and evaluate. We're we're our own business owners, we gotta figure things out, and I'm definitely thinking I gotta level up. I've got it, I've tried to be consistent, I'm trying to have shows, and then some personal stuff has happened lately, and so that has caused me to change and move my shows, which I know the algorithm doesn't like. And so life happens, right? Like you gotta do the best you can, you gotta adjust, you gotta try, and that's where I'm at. So that's all I wanted to say. I'll let you know how it goes. But uh yeah, I hope you guys are uh sharing this out. I really, really, really would appreciate it if you would just take, I mean, it would take all of three minutes if you would give me a five-star review and a good, I mean, five star rating and a good review, guys. All I mean, seriously, three minutes tops if you're listening to this in Apple. Um, because somebody came in and said I was long winded, which of course I am. But um, anyways, now my rating is 4.9, and I'm really trying to get back up to five. So if you would please, please, please do that and also come to the show. All right, that's it. We'll talk to you guys later. Wish me luck. Bye bye.
