SPEAKER_09

Hey there guys. I hope everybody is doing really well. I am coming to you with another inside the shop. This is snapshots number six. And um I had three hours and let's see, what does my Fitbit say? I have had three hours and 45 minutes of sleep. It's fair sleep. So I think my stress level with the divorce is high. I've got to try to come up with $7,500 for the lawyers. The conversations are not going good, things are rough. So I say all that because I'm not sleeping well. Even I took a Valium, I took two sleeping pills and a sleeping gummy, and I'm still up after less than four hours of sleep. So I've been up for a while and I'm like perusing whatnot. And um, I came upon this guy. His name is Joseph. I asked him his name, and I was like, okay, I've got to tell these people who they are. And I don't know how many guys actually listen to this, but I'm definitely not gonna be a podcast where we just stay in one little category. So I move around a lot. I try I look at different categories, I go to different shows, whatever. Anyways, that being said, um, let's just get started, guys. I want to tell you about this guy. Um, and I want to tell you why I think he's successful. And I will say, I know he's from Northern California because I asked. I was shocked because, and yeah, I need to learn things still too. Um, he has a wheel. And I've seen the wheel, done the wheel before, don't do it on a regular basis, but he's a football trade card guy. Um, topp's chrome football delight, three box break, whatever is down below right now. And um, on the wheel, he's got all these different football teams, and um, in the show notes, it has like who they are, and then it's got people's names next to it. I don't really understand at all, but I will say personality plus with this guy. Music, a little crass in the background. I I hear a lot of cussing and whatever, but I'm gonna just tell you this guy has personality plus. I think he's working for somebody else. And because he said, you know, they don't have me come on whatnot that often, you know, I don't work here that often, uh, not every night, that kind of thing. So he's obviously working for somebody else. And um the the show I'm gonna tell you is called neighborhood card show. I think it says show. It cuts off when you have a name that is too long, it's hard to see. Um, so it says neighborhood when I reach into that view profile. Let's see. Yeah, neighborhood. Oh, okay, shop, not show. Neighborhood card shop is what it is. It's a premiere shop. They've sold 222,000 items. It says it's a brick and mortar sports card shop located in Lodi, California. And then it says breaks, singles, and slabs. It looks like they come on pretty often, obviously. Premiere shop, but anyways, that's not what I want to talk about. I want to talk about Joseph, and I want you to listen to this guy. I want you to listen to his interactions. I I want to when you listen to his energy. It is freaking 4:08 in the morning central time, and this guy is kicking ass. Um, the the thing that caught me by surprise, honestly, is he had a wheel and he was putting names into the wheel during the show, which I found extremely confusing. I asked and he answered, which once again, good host. Premier show, 46 people in there right now, and he's still answering my simple question. I said, wait, I didn't know you could do that. He thought I was joking. I'm like, no, I'm serious. I didn't know you could do that. And he's then everybody's like, you know, coming to his defense. And I was just like, why? And I found out somebody traded. And so I when I came in, I saw him putting Houston on the board, and that's when I was like, Oh, that's cool. So, anyways, I want you guys to listen to this level of energy and interaction, and I'm just gonna let him talk for a minute.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, so the olive branch is getting extended to you, Ian. What do you want to do, brother? Ian, after I said it a couple times, Chad. I'm not sure if y'all heard me. Once we are down to six, right? No more trades. The only one that could have traded back, to be honest, was oh, Ian. Yeah, Ian. So you already know trade who? ATL and the Eagles? Okay, all right, cool. I did I read incorrectly. ATL and the Eagles. I read incorrectly. My bad. Here we go. What? How does it go from top to bottom?

SPEAKER_09

He's a good man. He accepted responsibility.

SPEAKER_05

The best way to learn this product pride time is to pull up Beckett. Right now, dude. Pull up Beckett or uh what's the other one I like to look at on the checklist? Who else I like? Checklist Insider. I like checklist insider as well. Beckett or checklist insider and go through that joint. Um use control F on your keyboard, hop on your computer, and that's the best way, dog. And if you don't know teams, I can tell you about the teams, but yeah. Um, but anyway, here we go. He's gonna trade in Atlanta and the Eagles.

SPEAKER_09

Atlanta and Eagles. Some of my girls who listen to this are like, why are we listening to some guy with football? I get it. But listen to his energy, listen to how he's talking to the people.

SPEAKER_05

Keep Eagles.

SPEAKER_09

He's he's he's putting his hands up, he's changing names on his little wheel. He knows a lot of these people. There's 50 people in the room. What else does it say?

SPEAKER_05

Okay, chat. Trades are done, alright? That's it. Trades are done. I think he's at the end of the show.

SPEAKER_09

He's at the end of the show, and I'm gonna tell you what's going on. JQM is uh Jeremy is winning three dollars, four dollars. There's twelve seconds left. But when I came in, something was 250 bucks. I don't know what they bought, but I was like, damn. So right now it's up to 17 42 dollars. I'm watching this $125, $145.

SPEAKER_05

After, after if y'all want to go PYT or not.

SPEAKER_09

I don't even know what PYT means. Sold for $155 to some guy named Jeremy.

SPEAKER_05

Here we go. That was nasty. He thought that was bad.

SPEAKER_09

He thought 155 was bad.

SPEAKER_05

He's like, you stole it.

SPEAKER_09

Y'all fault. Live down below.

SPEAKER_05

That's everybody in here who did not swipe. I don't know what to tell you. Live down below it a dollar. Go. I have no idea what to tell you, man. Here, let's go, PYT. Go, go, go for it. PYT, let's go.

SPEAKER_09

This guy, honestly, I think he should stop working for whoever the hell he's working for. Because I I I had a I had a consult yesterday. Well, I had two yesterday, one at like seven in the morning, and then the other one at like 1230. And uh both of them, we every consultation goes a little bit different. But the the first one, I said, you are not just selling a product, you are selling your personality, you are selling entertainment, you are selling, you know, relationship, a community, and whatever. I mean, it's the whole package, baby. This guy, Jeremy, he has so much positivity, so much personality. Just he was considerate. He just, he's a man who just admitted he was wrong. That in itself is a huge thing. He just said, My bad. I'm sorry about that. Hello. I mean, as somebody who's going through a divorce right now, I can tell you that's hard to find. So I just I high five fist pump to this guy, Jeremy at neighborhood cards. What is it? Shop. And it's a football thing. If you guys are football people and you want to check this guy out, uh, he's doing another one right now, and it's $135. Is it Kentucky? I don't know. Um, but anyways, there we go. We're starting off with football today, and I'm gonna go to some more. Um, I did see somebody earlier. Also, I gotta get out of the football. It'll take me from football to football. I actually went to one football show one time, and the guy was like so amazing. He knew everything. He was so super fast, and I wish I could go back to that. Okay, here's who I want to tell you. Oh, she said lost power, but now I'm back. Part two. Um, this is in vintage decor, and I just gotta tell you, she, this girl, um, I'm gonna click on it in a hot second. But you know, part of getting people into your room is just your window display and what your little picture looks like and all of that. This is one of the cutest freaking pictures I have ever seen. And I know some people are anti-AI and that whole thing, but this says otterly curated, and it's O-T-T-E-R-L-Y-C-U-R-R-A-T-E-D. Otterly curated. Curated. There I go. Um, she just sold something, it says one pound less than less than one pound, okay? And she put number six. So Otterly, I would definitely work on um, you know, maybe continuing to list more things because that's gonna show up on your window. But hey, I say that I'm about to have a show, I'm gonna do a whole bunch of dry pulls like that, and it's gonna say it too. So a lot of people are still doing that. I'm gonna click on her. She is so cute, and her pictures are so cute, and she's got such cute stuff, guys. 4 15 in the morning. She's very Ralph Lauren-ish. Um, she's wearing red, white, and blue, and she's got like um, she looks like she's from Maine or something with beautiful skin and just gorgeous. She's got a bunch of blue and white. Um, I'm gonna let you listen to her for a second.

SPEAKER_06

Right here, the rose, and that's been chipped off. All right, we are going to run over iPad. Um, it's very cute.

SPEAKER_09

She's holding up a pig.

SPEAKER_06

Still lovely, and it's hard to see that little piece, but that's the colour. Um it's a delicate rose. And it does have the stopper on there, and it is, by the way, made. Um, the sticker is still on there, it's made in Japan. Thank you so much.

SPEAKER_09

Um okay, what I I mean, besides the fact that she's beautiful, besides the fact that she's soft spoken, besides the fact that she's got great merchandise. Let's see, does she also have good prices? Let's look. I love her. Um, okay, you guys, I've talked about this before, generic thumbnails, you know, and it just gives the weight. So one pound, two pounds, three pounds. Hers are made of blue and white, like vintage tiles. They are so freaking cute. She has all the way up to nine pounds. She has a blue, blue, uh amazing. It's a bird house cookie jar, and it's $29. Honestly, I feel like you could find that in one of those fancy, fancy stores for like $80. She's got um, she's got roosters, she's got elephants, she's got owls, she's got chickens. Uh oh, she's got um this adorable Dutch large canister. She's got all kinds of stuff, guys. Just really cute. I think that one of the things I really like about her is she obviously has a light box. And when you're looking at the picture, you're not looking at it with some tablecloth that you know competes with what you're looking at. Um, you're not looking at doilies and pictures and too much, you're looking at just the picture, and I appreciate that because that's what I would buy, not anything else. She has a vintage mallard dish. Malia, there is a vintage mallard dish here. It's really, really cute. Um, anyways, she's got cats, she's got bookings, just all kinds of house decor and stuff. I definitely think she has way more inventory that is listed because um 10 of these are weights, so that means she has 37 items listed. Let's go see how many she has sold during this show. Hold on, I think she's been on for a while. Well, shockingly, I don't know what time she got on. She's sold seven things $19, $10, $8, something for $32. We don't know what those items were because they were all with that weight. Um, but she's holding up horse bookends that are made of glass that are unbelievable, and I might just have to buy. I mean, somebody's saying run them. Let's see what she says. Let me turn it up. $22? Are you kidding? That is a steal. I'm not gonna do it. It's going up to $24. They're beautiful glass horse book ends for $24. So this girl, guys, I I am, you know how I'm picky. She's got it all set up. The only thing I would say and suggest for her to do a little bit different is something gray is sticking out by some door. I'm trying to understand like what that is, but that's like the only call out I can see. She's got gorgeous. I want to know what her eyeliner is, but um she's beautiful with beautiful stuff, beautiful setup. I mean, guys, if you were a new seller, this is what I'm talking about. I my only thing is she's like between two doors in a corner. So I would suggest that she gets a different like layout that's a flat layout, but other than that, everything she's holding up is very good quality bougie. You can tell she the other thing, hello, she doesn't have show notes. I would love to be able to show tell you her show what her show notes say, but she doesn't have show notes, and the only thing she has in her description is curated for maximum emotions. How cute is that? But her she did what I tell my clients to do, which is branding. She's got this little otter everywhere. I don't know where she lives. Like I said, she looks like she's from Maine or something, but I haven't mentioned her, I haven't said anything. Um, I'll I'll tag everybody who I talk about in my show notes. Um, I'm wondering if I should hashtag that. Right now she's holding up a rooster bowl. My girls who follow me and like these shows, go follow this girl. Her name is well, I don't know her name because she didn't put it in the show notes once again. Um, but it's O-T-T-E-R-L-Y curated C-U-R-R-A-T-E-D-E-D. Otterly curated, and it's got these adorable pictures. It's like a white picture with a blue otter. So cute, so cute. Highly, highly recommend. We are two for two on goodness right now, guys. Maybe this is gonna be a better show. Ooh, I gotta tell you who this is. I'm I'm going in here. This place is amazing guys. This is gonna be three for three. Here we go. Listen.

SPEAKER_04

They call it elk race. One, two, or one or two.

SPEAKER_09

It's not the same guy. I thought it was I thought it was this other guy, and it's not. I I I'm gonna find him. It's not him, though. I'm I'm gonna wait. This is hmm, no, we're gonna keep going. I'm looking. Okay, we're in a purse area, guys. I don't stop on purses, and I honestly I don't stop on anybody who's under five stars anymore. I just there's too many choices. What the hell? Oh, have you guys seen this? There's no um, are they brand new? Hold on. Oh, it's their very first show. It's a live clam opening party. Have you guys seen this? I've seen this before, but it looks like it. They only have 42 followers. They're following nobody, which you know, I don't think that's right. It's part of a community, you should follow other people. It's called Edgar Silas, it's E-D G A R Ed Ger and then S-I-L-A-S, Edgar Silas, and it says live clam opening party. Every clam is a mystery. You could find rare colors and big pearls. Don't miss out. Join our live show now. I don't know if you guys even knew that this was a thing, but it truly is. What not is awesome. There's a hundred people in here. She just opened a clam, and I swear it's got like listen, it's got something like tons of pearls.

SPEAKER_02

One, how many, okay, one, two, three, four, once here, five.

SPEAKER_09

She's using a spoon to get them out. Obviously, they're farm-raised, you know, clams. So she's taken out like seven, eight. I guess they get to pick their clams, and then she digs in there, pulls out the pearls, and puts them in a little bowl, and then you get them delivered to your house. She paid $25 and she's getting at least nine, ten pearls out of that one. She can't get this last one in. It is big and it's deep. She got it out. So there's gotta be like, yeah, at least nine or ten pearls. And let's see how many she sold. That's number 36. So I'm guessing if I go to her sold, yep, she sold 36 clams, and they're going for 25 bucks roughly a piece. Oh, she's still pulling out some. That's crazy. There's gotta be at least 15, 16 pearls, and they're all really different colors. There's like some yellowy ones, some kind of purple, some traditional looking white ones.

unknown

Oh my god, so many.

SPEAKER_09

So many, exactly. It's shocking.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, what's the wrong one?

SPEAKER_09

Listen, some of the lady's so happy. They're like milky white.

SPEAKER_01

I always have my best.

SPEAKER_09

She's having to get a knife to get in there and dig for the clam, y'all. This is so crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_09

We live in a world where you can watch TV and watch somebody get pearls out of a clam, and you can get them delivered to your house. 98 people in the room. I I think this is just it's fun. It's fun. It's their first show, and they're kicking ass. She's looking to see if there's any more pearls. She's got gloves on. I think there's gotta be like 15, 20 pearls there. She's rinsing them off with water.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, so many white collar and some purple colour. And you also got one sort of still scratcher. Oh my god. Maybe it's a rainbow color, I think. It's again Calegas, my friend. It's all for you.

SPEAKER_09

She's obviously got a foreign accent, and she's obviously like, congratulations, my friend. It's um up, you know, this is all for you. So she's cute, she's got energy. She's pulling six more, eight more, and people get to choose which one they want. And then they cut in and get the next one. So things you learn every day coming. Oh my gosh. Guys, okay, so I did tell you who that last one was. Let me say it one more time. It's Edgar E-D G A R Silas S-I-L-A-S. Okay, let me just point out she's just moved the camera up. She's in a sink with like a drainage thing. And somebody just bought a clam for 17 bucks. She's got pearls, pearl necklaces behind her showing what kind of pearls are there. So very cool, very fun. If you guys ever want to check that out. Okay, now you've got to see where I'm at. I'm hoping my volume is okay today. This is a miniature show, which I have been freaking out about lately, guys. I have um grandkids, but I don't get to see them. Uh it's been three years, four months. But I so wanted to be able to have my granddaughter uh do like little doll houses with her and buy this stuff for her and play with her, but that's not part of my life. So it is what it is. And now I'm like, maybe in the future I'll marry somebody else and it'll have a daughter or a granddaughter, I guess. And I can do that with her. I don't, I don't know. Um, but I I look at this and I get so excited because there's so many freaking cute things in this, especially if you were a parent or a grandparent and you have doll houses, or even if you have like um those little trinket um oh, what are they called? The printer boxes that you put up on the wall and put the little things in. Um, there are so many cute things in the miniature world on whatnot. This is called bits B-I-T-S underscore in underscore bobs, b-o-b s underscore thrift t-h r I f t. I think it can work. I tell you guys not to use underscores because it's just a lot for people to remember and type in and all that, but because these letter, these words are small, I think it's doable. Bits in in the letter in Bob's thrift with underscores between each part of that. Um, they actually have show notes. What what people with show notes, high five bits in Bob's thrift. Um, show notes are wonderful people. Use them, they are your friend. Um, here it says, welcome in. We're live for the second half of the tonight's show. Um, we will scan the trays one time fully this round and run. Miniatures, new vintage, and 3D mini printed, printed minis. They have handmade items, 3D custom print items. We design and print here. It says most items start at $3. See, this is smart. I mean, the only thing is they're not saying their name or where they're from so far. I that's what I would tell them to do. Um, it also says most items start at $3, depending on item. That's helpful. Glass and brass starts at $5. Max shipping is $9.21. I like even how they laid this out. They put um like little dashes between the information so it's really easy to see, and they put little emojis. So, like the there's like the little cash um emoji where it talks about the money. Then on max shipping, they have a box emoji. Then below that it says need a 3D printed micro tray. Just shout it out in the chat. It's got a little um emoji with an alert alert, whatever. Um, it says there's a bell emoji and it says, in a hurry, let us know, and we'll try to run your items first. Then it says bid responsibility, no cancellations, no refunds, which we all know the truth about that. Listen to another episode. I won't go into it, but um, it says your package may arrive in a reused or recycled shipping materials. This helps us reduce waste, keep costs low, and care for our environment. Thanks for hanging out with us, bits and bobs, and then it's got like five halip red jalapenos, and I'm not sure why. I don't know where they're from or any of that. Um, it's not in there, but um, they have 11 things in their shop and they have little um this is always a good idea, guys. If you're selling anything and you're trying to it's you're not there to kind of say, oh, this is as big as my hand, or this is big as my finger. To have a ruler and tape measure. I think I tell both to get both. The ruler helps because you can just lay it down flat and you can put your item next to it, or the tape measure, especially when you're dealing with clothes or something that's not, you know, flat and stable. Um, let's listen to her for a second because she's got right now on the screen, she's got like doll furniture. There's some pigs and dogs in the shop. She's got the rulers, she's got stickers, um, 3D printed random item mostly. I definitely think an area where she could improve is listing more pictures because right now all I see is chilies in the chat. Um, I guess they're red chilies, sorry, not red pep jalapenos, whatever. Um, red chilies in the chat is their emoji. A lot of people have a specific emoji. I'm thinking mine should be the happy face with the cowboy because I say howdy all the time. I use that when I go into a show, whatever. Um, she's holding up a tiny little 3D printed thing that says handmade. So let's listen to her for a second. She's got 20 people in the room.

SPEAKER_08

Okay, so you want a euro plate. Okay, so 10 hearts. Squad with a chili pepper. Yeah, exactly. Yes, I know. They're so silly. Okay, so 10 hearts. So this one is a custom sign. Are you okay with the $10 uh wait? You actually, I think you already have a sign. No, you don't have it. Are you okay with the $10 custom fee plus the three dollars for the sign? Okay, I just want to make sure. Okay, so ten dollars for the custom.

SPEAKER_09

Wow. Wow, I have a 3D printer. She's charging ten dollars to do a custom print plus the three dollars. So she's making something specific for somebody. So that's good. She's gonna make some money off that for sure.

SPEAKER_07

And we're gonna say uh Hello Vien. Hello, Vien.

SPEAKER_09

I'm trying to look to see what somebody asked for.

SPEAKER_07

And we want it in black and orange.

SPEAKER_09

Oh, she wants somebody wants a Halloween sign instead of Halloween. I don't understand that. That went right over my head.

SPEAKER_07

Uh orange.

SPEAKER_09

But I mean, I guess if you're decorating your dollhouse for the holidays, I mean, is that even a thing? I don't put it past anybody. Yeah, no, I totally believe it. So if you want a request, look, she's holding it up. She's got clean hands, nice nails. I'm not into the pointy nails, but that's the trending thing. She's got green um metallic nails, and she made a card for this girl that says, here's what it is. And I guess she's gonna throw it in the bin for the girl so she can come back um later to get it. Yeah, I definitely would suggest that this person, um, whoever it is, that doesn't say their name, but bits and bobs, um, that they wait, maybe her name is at the end. Nope, no personal name. Um, she's right, she's showing the card right now that says $10 custom sign, $3 sign, total 13. She's gonna put that in her 3D printer, sell it to the lady, put it in the bin. Super cute. There is a like old school brass lamp in the back with like a green. It's so cute. You guys, if I had the time, if I had the time, I would get my printer going and move in and uh do something like that because the reality, and I I think it's she knows this. I mean, but most people don't have a 3D printer, so she's you know, getting it. Um, she's using Europlate. Here's the how she's gonna write it, what what colors, everything. It will cost her, honestly, with the filament and the time and the electricity and everything, max, max 50 cents, max 50 cents to make this thing. Not even close. I'm I'm being generous, and she's gonna make some serious money off of that. She's already sent her, well, actually, she charged her, and it says 3D print custom order. So when she clicked on it, she saw the picture, and then she'll print it and send it. So she's not even putting it in the bin. Smart, smart, smart, because it'll take a hot second to print that. I mean, it won't, it won't take very long at all. So, um, very, very good, very smart. I think that's a beautiful thing to do. I think those are pictures of their dogs in the background. Um, but it says mini life on a little um, she's holding up books. Guys, just go fun. This is fun looking at all the cute little mini miniature stuff. Okay, so once again, it was bits, b-i-t-s underscore the letter N underscore Bob's B-O-B-S underscore thrift. I really feel like they should have said something about miniature world or something. I mean, yes, you get it, but the brand and what they are. If I saw thrift, I would think that they're like an estate sale or home decor, vintage, or antique or something like that. If by just looking at their name, you have no idea that they're miniatures. So, guys, remember that too. Try to get your name something with you. I know my name is Carrie Kennedy on whatnot, and I know it's not with me. I if I had known and thought about this in the past, I probably would have. However, now my branding goes for my consultations, for my podcast, for my show. I'm still deciding what category I'm going in after being in like 15. So, um, anyways, okay, we're leaving out of there. We'll go to a few more places. Um, okay, hold on. What the hell is this?

SPEAKER_03

And I'm betting that up against a little measly 150 bucks. I promise you. I've looked at the sales reports for the last two years and the sales reports for last month, and nothing has sold under $200. Is that not a whole piece? Which one?

SPEAKER_09

Well, I'm gonna stop here because I've never ever stopped on anything like this before. It's Josh and Jesse's vintage. See, when it's real long, you don't get to see the the words anymore. Um, I it's they're they're y'all need to think about this when you do your name. If your name is so long that people can't even read what the rest of it is, you might want to think about that. I don't know when it cuts off. Let's count four, seven, uh, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. It cuts off after 20 letters. I thought it was 18 when I talked to the girl yesterday. 18 letters or something. Don't it cuts off after 20 letters? So when you're thinking about a name, make it smaller. Um, it says J and J's treasures underneath. If they had stayed with J treasures, I think it probably would have been better up on the screen. But they've sold 6.2 things, got five-star rating, 1.2 um thousand, uh 1,200 reviews. And here's what it says. Wow, okay. I this is their profile, like in their profile. It says, Can you hear me all capitalized? Do you love to laugh? Are you truly an amazing vintage and antique decor? That doesn't make sense. Oh, into amazing vintage and antique decor. Really? And you haven't found the show yet? Well, it's okay. Rest assured, uh, rest assured that all of that awaits behind one click of the mouse, and then it says attention, capital letters with like 20 exclamation marks, like they set up above. Um, it's in excess, guys. Just saying uh what you are about to witness is thousands already have, and they keep coming back, and we are not responsible for any behavioral or speech changes you may pick up. Trend setting is happening as we speak. This is the best comedy show with the occasional sale whatnot has to offer. So please remember to wear your shoes in the house at all times. Love J and J. Okay, that's very cute, it's very interesting. It doesn't do the things I tell you guys to do in your descriptions, which is who you are, what you're selling, why you're there, how long you've been on, that kind of thing. Who, what, when, where, why, and how. Um, however, it's funny, it's interesting. Um, I don't even know what category this is. I they're saying vintage, so I guess this is the vintage category, but I would not in a million years think this is vintage category because it looks like they're in like a garage or a basement or something. It's not the best setup. I would definitely suggest getting some fabric or something to cover that up or some wood because you see the um boards and then the uh what is it, the dry foam in between the boards. Um, so I would I would worry or consider fixing your display. That's me. However, they're selling this stuff. So, I mean, what do I know? Um, oh, my friend Beth is there. Hello, Beth. I should just say hi. I'm not going to. I'm gonna stick with you guys. Um, but in the shop, it says random pull. He's got one dollar random pull, and it has a very blurry picture, a very blurry picture of knives. And that's all he's got. So he's starting stuff at a dollar, but all the stuff on the floor is die-cast. Like right now, he's holding it's like die-cast cars. That's why I figured he'd be in like a different, like I think they're die-cast. Let me see. Let's listen to him.

SPEAKER_03

This thing's never been open. No, this thing is it's already assembled. This thing comes assembled. This is this is uh uh uh an adult collector, not for kids, not intended for anybody under the age of 21.

SPEAKER_09

It's a UPS racing truck.

SPEAKER_03

There's helicopters over here, remote control airplanes, we got remote control boats. Uh with that being said, let's go.

SPEAKER_09

Remote control things, not just die cast. And they're bigger, they're in boxes, and they're all on the floor, stacked up. He looks he looks to be in his 30s.

SPEAKER_03

That's it, buddy. I'm gonna grab some more jewelry out right here.

SPEAKER_09

Now he's grabbing jewelry. What? I'm confused.

SPEAKER_03

Let me see if we can't see if we can't come up with something right here. All right. Oh, it's a little blessing.

SPEAKER_09

Uh-huh. Interesting.

SPEAKER_03

Right here. Oh, yeah, look right here. We got bagged. The we got a whole set of the original Rogers not. I mean, the first Rogers bag of silver plate stuff they came out with. The certificate of authenticity right here.

SPEAKER_09

He just showed some silverware. So it's kind of it's kind of confusing. It it says it's gonna be a comedy show, kind of real funny, real interesting. I don't know if I'm getting that vibe right now. Um zip on lighter? He's by himself. Now he's showing a lighter. So I think he may be in the wrong category. I think maybe he should be in a state sale. Um, and the reason I say that is because so far he's showed silverware, a lighter, remote control cars, die cast trucks. I mean, he's got all kinds of stuff, but I wouldn't call that vintage necessarily. I mean, maybe they are vintage stuff, but I I really feel like when you're looking at the vintage category, that's more household decor, that's more decorative stuff. You get what I'm talking about, right? It's it's more that I think he's in the wrong category. But you know, hey, he's selling, he's doing fine. He's got tattoos and long hair in the front, but not the back. There used to be a joke about that, like part uh with mullets, you know, like business in the front, party in the back. He's got the opposite of that. Um, I don't know what that joke is. I think that's it. He's not on he's not on screen a lot, and it would be helpful if he had the items up higher on a table and the items were up in front um of you. I mean, we talked, I talked to you guys before about drunk booger, his name's Drunk Booger. Um, when he first started, he was using a paper box, and I was like, okay, I mentioned it in the podcast. All he did was put fabric over it, boom, done. You don't have to go to even spend money at Costco or Sam's or whatever and get big fancy plastic, you know, tables like I have from my teaching days that you know go up in layers and all these different things. You could use boxes, stack a few boxes, put some fabric over it, maybe put some fabric in the background. He could level this up so easy. He's obviously got the in he's got the material, but I would say he's only been on screen since I've been watching him for about maybe 20% of the time. So when you're just talking off-screen, you're not gonna keep as many people in the room. A lot of people have come and people have gone. Okay, now he's showing rings. So what if he's done lighters, he's done rings, he's done cars, he's done silverware. He's definitely I I'm gonna I'm gonna double down on my my suggestion that they change their name, which is hard once you've been this far. So that would have been my suggestion. Change the name, fix the background, get a table, stay on screen. But I mean, you're you're doing good uh as far as selling stuff. I just think you could do better. Take more pictures. The one picture that says random pull is very blurry. Um I don't know who I think I can't see their picture. It's it's uh it looks like maybe it's a husband-wife team, but it's hard to see them because they're like it's a picture of them on um like a road or something with trees in the background. It's all very nice. Um, but I think they could I I think they could up that and brand a little bit better. And I think if they went to estate sales, that would be better. So there's my advice for you. But it's Josh, J-O-S-H, and A N D Jesse, J E S S E Vintage, V-I-N-T-A-G-E, and then I don't know what it is, it cuts off. We don't have their whole title. So, once again, guys, think about how long your title is. Okay, he's on there now, he's got a ring sizer. He just sold a ring for 10 bucks. So let's see how many things he sold, just out of curiosity. He sold 19 things with a bad picture. I mean, honestly, the picture shows a bunch of knives. He he's got, I mean, I don't know. They're not asking for my opinion, they're not asking for a consult, but I'm telling you, getting in the right category, having the right setup, having good pictures, those things could could make you go above and beyond. Staying on on screen. He's obvious the thing that he's got going for him that that's the best, I think, is that he's got a lot of inventory. And it looks like all types of things. I mean, you know, uh this is a lot of inventory. I don't know where he lives, I don't know, but that is a big thing. In fact, I saw um this girl on Facebook today say that she doesn't want to have too much inventory because she doesn't want to invest in it without selling it because she's scared. And my thought was good luck on whatnot, because you've got some serious competition with people who do have tons and tons and tons of inventory, and that's gonna be hard for you. You know what I mean? Um I'm trying to find something good to stop on. Nope, it's not happening. Oh somebody just said they need to restock. We're gonna stop here. Oh gosh. Okay. Um Wow.

SPEAKER_02

I'm okay.

SPEAKER_09

There's a lot. Her name is Allison, A-L-I-S-O-N. That's what I was like. Oh my gosh, she's got 11 people in the room, less than one day shipping, five-star review, no show notes. Can't read that to you. Yeah, let me see her profile. Let me click into the profile. It says new mid-century modern groovy cellar, 1960s, 1970s, hippie home decor, glassware, vintage decor, salt and peppers, and more. All are welcome at my show with a heart and a mushroom. Be kind, community over competition. Find me on Instagram at vintage groove garden. Vintage Groove Garden. Okay, that's cute. Vintage Groove Garden. Um Allison with a big underscore is her name. A-L-I-S-O-N underscore. She's got a lot of MCM vintage type stuff. Um, she's got 98 things listed.

unknown

There, he looks better in that.

SPEAKER_09

Everything from placemats to buttons, vintage buttons. There's a really cute cheese board. Oh my gosh. Cute, cute cheese board. She's got glass bowls. Or the one I bought the other week. You mid-century modern people are gonna want to check this girl out. She has a 1986 country home cross stitch that says, God bless our country home. It's freaking adorable. Adorable. Um, she's got anthromorphic um cucumber salt and pepper shakers. And basically what that means is they have little faces on them. They're they're cucumber. So she's she's got a lot of bright, colorful, hippie-dippy, trippy, cute things, floral tins, buttons. Oh, she's got a huge vintage lack, uh, vintage latch hook rug with um, she didn't see. I definitely think you guys need to think about your descriptions. Um, I would say ducks on that, because when people go to the shop and they're in the search engine and they're looking for a duck hook rug or something, it's not gonna come up because her description says huge vintage latch hook rug. True that it's 50 bucks. She wants somebody to buy it, but she doesn't describe it. So remember to describe your items. She does fine on everything else, but I think on that one she could do better on that one. Large mushroom shakers. She's got a ton, and I mean a ton of stuff. And oh my gosh, Kelsey, she has the orange blender pitcher and tumblers, mid-century modern orange blender, blendo pitcher and tumblers. It is beautiful. Somebody needs to get their butt in that room and buy those and ask for them. She's got eight people who have um who have clicked it. I'm one of them because I like it too. And then she's got an MCM orange glass serving trait. Let's listen to this girl for a second. She's got it all in a hutch, and so it's a lot to look at. It's there's just it's a lot to look at. Oh, she's got a good song on. Yeah, you do. She's only got seven people. She's only got seven people in the room, and I really think she could have more if she would stop moving her camera around so much, because a lot of times people don't like that. I know I do tours, and sometimes I take my phone from my camera, you know, but hers is really, really shaky right now. She's showing trivets and it's shaky, shaky, shaky. So I don't know what kind of phone she has. That right there, but um, but I would suggest getting a phone stand or a table and putting it on that and then bringing your items up to the phone stand. Um that just prevents all the shakiness. I know some people can handle it, but I've had I've when I do this, a lot of people are like, I'm getting sick, you're making me nauseous, don't go so fast. So I try to go slow and whatever. But I think that honestly, if you're doing this too much, people will leave the room. I I've I've seen it in my own shows. They they get dizzy. I mean, right now she's moving this camera so much, and maybe she hasn't done this the whole time. You're only getting snapshots, guys. Um, once her name, again, her name is Alison A L I S O N. She's got a tape measure, she's measuring like little trivet um things.

unknown

Run them?

SPEAKER_09

She's got stuff on the counters, she's got stuff on the floors, she's got a lot, and she said she needed more inventory, which is impressive to me because uh you know how I feel about it, guys. This one lady on Facebook who's like, Oh, I only have 27 items because I don't want to buy more because I might lose money. Sorry, you you you you gotta have more inventory. You're not gonna compete with 27 items, just not gonna happen. Not even close. I'm constantly feeling like I have to go and get more and more and more inventory. Okay, so she just sold a large wood woven trivet, and let's see how much what else she's she sold five things, all trivets so far. Oh no, no, three trivets, a bowl, and an a fairy light. She sold an amber glass vintage party light, fairy light.

SPEAKER_00

There is a call out. Honestly, if I had two seconds, I'd probably get a call out. She's just coming out.

SPEAKER_09

She's showing a call out.

unknown

You're welcome.

SPEAKER_09

Which I like that. She said you're welcome. So she's got she's kind. She's running the next trivet, but I don't know if anybody wants it. She's got six people in the room. Honestly, I think my only critique for her is this camera is just shake, shake, shake, shake, shake. She needs a camera stand and a table and get the item, bring it to the camera instead of panning around so much.

unknown

Five more minutes.

SPEAKER_09

She's getting off in five minutes. That's that's always really good to let people know that you're getting off soon so that they can, you know, accordingly decide, you know, do they want to just start buying stuff? Do they do they want to stay? Do they just want to leave?

unknown

Like that shell one.

SPEAKER_09

She's got mugs um with mallards on them. She's got a big tailor weather station. Um let me see what else she's got. She's got some really cute, good stuff, especially for your mid-century modern people, which is me. The only thing I would say so far is she should say ducks on the hook rug, you know, whatever, and get, like I said, get just yeah. Bring the items up to the camera instead of panning around so much. And I bet you money you'll do better. But I I'd be willing to, yeah, definitely, definitely on that. Okay, guys, how many minutes have I done? 52 minutes. Boy, time flies when you're having fun. Oh my gosh, it's drunk booger. We're gonna stop again. You guys know how I feel about him. I love him. He's uh got 40 people in the room, and he's simple and basic, doing the same thing day in, day out. I don't know exactly what time he goes on. It's always early in the morning. Um, he grabs these items, he shows it really close up to the camera, and um, he's he's got, I know it's a box underneath there because he covered it because I told him to. Um, he's got five stars, one day shipping. He's obviously doing a good job packing things, and he just runs everything at three bucks. Three bucks, three bucks, three bucks. He just came on. Um, I'm I'm gonna say I'm mentioning you in the podcast. Mentioning you in live podcast. And he'll say hi so you guys can hear him. Hold on, here we go.

SPEAKER_04

I like being a little uh little chaos, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_09

A little chaos.

SPEAKER_04

You know what I mean? Making a part for you guys doesn't really help me because I still have to uh mentor you and live in the podcast right now. Thank you, Karen. You know, I'm a little slow listening to the podcast, but I'm gonna have to get back on that. I was listening to him like when I was you know sleeping and stuff like that. I mean, no, no, I'm just kidding.

SPEAKER_09

So he always has the same picture and consistency. Hold on.

SPEAKER_04

I know it's not. There's uh you know, what did I say? There was 137,000. Yeah, there's about 137,000 uh videos on how to do it. Or if you really want to, you watch the big, the big, big sellers. They live stream their shows so you can see from every angle. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_09

So I just I just said no, I'm talking about how good you're doing now. So I'm gonna tell you what he's doing good, and uh this is really good. Listen, guys.

SPEAKER_04

How good I'm doing now.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, he okay, I'm trying. I'm gonna turn him down so I don't hear him anymore, so I can say this.

unknown

It works.

SPEAKER_09

Um here's here's the thing. Sometimes, sometimes okay, so here's the thing with with drunk booker. Number one, he's hardworking, number two, he's authentic. Number three, he's got consistency, consistency, consistency. Um, because he shows up every morning, he sells the same type of thing every day. He's running everything at three dollars, he's holding it up to the camera, he's explaining himself. He's talking right now about his system and what he does. I'm not gonna spend any more time listening to him because you guys can go check him out. It's drunk dr-n-k booger, b-o-o-g-e-r. And I tell I, you know, I help you guys do logos and branding and names and stuff. In fact, I did uh a new lady yesterday. I'm not gonna tell you, but basically, um, yeah, she's selling ephemera. And um, I helped her with her whole logo and everything. It was a lot of fun yesterday. But the thing about that is I told her, come up with a name people are gonna remember. Everybody remembers drunk booger, guys. It's like I've told you, you know, Taco Cat Lady or whatever. If it's something you can put an image with or you think is funny, you're gonna remember it. Earlier, we were at like, I don't even know what their name is, Josh and Jesse. I mean, that's fine. I can remember it now, but will I remember it days down the road? Probably not, not unless I got amazing deals with them, loved them, went there all the time. You know what I'm saying? So think of names that are gonna stick. But back to this consistency, consistency, consistency. Everybody who's in in his room right now, there's 30 people in there. They know when he comes on, they know what he's selling, they know what his price is. He has already sold today. Well, he's sold 24 things. Okay, so let's do the math on that. Okay, just just for well, I'm not gonna do all the math because you guys can figure it out because then you'd have to figure out. Well, we'll do do part of the math. So right now he sold 24 things, and so what is that? 24, that's like 72 items. He sold, I mean, 72 dollars. I don't know how long he's been on. I wish there was a timer to show that on my side. Um, because we when you're the seller, you get to see that. I don't think there's a way for me to see how long he's been on.

unknown

I don't even know where it came from.

SPEAKER_09

Um, so but he's talking to people, he always has a hat on and he always has sunglasses on his hat. So you always see the same thing consistency, consistency, consistency. If I did not have the life I have right now between getting the divorce, homeschooling the kids, having the podcast, doing the shows, you know, getting the inventory, uh church activities, my mom who is, you know, older taking care of her. If I didn't have all the different things in my life going on and I was his age and younger and whatever, I would do what he's doing in a heartbeat, guys, because it works. It doesn't matter anywhere, what category, anything, as long as you're consistent. And right now, I'm not I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna go on every morning at the same time selling the same thing. I'm not gonna do it. Um, maybe, you know, in another year or two, I'll I'll be there. Maybe that'll be my lifestyle. But you gotta do what works for you, and this is working for him. He has done really well on here. Let me see. He still doesn't have his damn show notes up. I really wish you guys would do show notes, but um, on his profile, he doesn't have anything there either. He needs to fix that. And on his picture, you only see half of his face, you only see like his nose, his mouth, and his beard and his shoulder. So I would fix the picture and I would yeah, fix the picture and add a description because it says in a not applicable. Okay, so um, yeah, um, he's sold 3,000 items, so he's kind of a newbie. But you for you newbies who are here listening, this is somebody to go check out. Okay, I'm at an hour, I'm at a whole hour. We've done lots of different categories today. Hopefully, you either found somebody that you're interested in following, or you are looking at this and thinking about some of the things I I said, and you're thinking, okay, how can how can I level up? How can I make that happen? So um, guys, yeah, I hope you have a great day today. I've got some more episodes coming out about different things. I'm not gonna get into that right now. Um, but yeah, if you have any um requests, please message me. There's a an area if you go to this podcast, you go to the show notes in Apple or Spotify or wherever. There's show notes, and you should be able to see a link that'll take you to my shop where you can see all the things I recommend for you to buy, whether it's the light box, whether it's the stand, whatever. Um, also, anybody who I said anything about that wasn't 100% positive, think of it as a friendly critique. I do not mean to hurt or offend or upset anybody. Um, these are only my opinions and my thoughts. Um, I know one girl, and I cannot think of her name right now. I think it might be called Circus Vintage or Vintage Circus. See, once again, gotta remember the names. Um, she uh she said, Thank you so much for the critique. I've I've implemented some of those things, and it's been really wonderful for me, and I appreciate that. And I did go into her show and I have seen how she's leveled up and multiple places and ways from one of these shows where I featured her. And so you can choose to ignore what I do or say, you know, or you could try to implement it, you know, and and I'm trying to do the same thing, you know. Um, we all should be trying to level up and do our very best, no matter what it is. Being friendly, showing our face, getting better lighting, don't showing this, not showing the ceiling, you know, um, being on the camera more. If you're talking off to the side, I can't think of a whole lot, but we had we had some good shows, some good people in here today. Um, so anyways, okay, we're gonna end with drunk booger here. Um, and and I'm gonna leave it with that. I'm getting out of this. Um, today is Thursday. Thursday the 15th. Is it the 15th? Is it guys? I'm like, I don't know, it's the 16th. Thursday the 16th of April. Crazy, crazy. Life is going fast. Anyways, uh, you guys who are Christians can pray for me. Um, I'm trying to come up with $7,500 for lawyers and divorce and all of that. My life is really crazy, it's really stressful. Um, very bad, terrible communication issues going on in my household. So just a lot going on there. But I kind of uh, oh, what's the word where you compartmentalize? Yeah, so I will have my show on Saturday. Please bookmark it. It is at 10 a.m. It is free shipping, 100% free shipping, $1 starts, giveaways, and tuckaways. And in fact, on the tuckaways, I am making freeze-dry skittles that are up there in the freeze dryer as we speak. So we'll have fresh freeze-dry skittles and little bags of candy. So my my goal is to have both of those as tuckaways in every box that goes out. Um, and um, I'm gonna have some other really cute giveaways. So I'm excited about it. I'm really excited about it. In fact, this morning my assistant Sarah is coming over and we are gonna clean up that room and get things organized for Saturday. So please, please go follow Carrie, Kennedy, K A R R I, Kennedy, K E N N E D Y on Whatnot. And uh, you guys can message me and check the links, and yeah, have a great week. We'll see you Saturday. Talk to you later. Bye bye.
