Hey there guys. I'm getting ready to uh have a show this morning. I think it's day five of my 30-day divorce fund challenge. And um I'm sitting here doing had this, oh, I've never told them one of my ideas, one of my tips. And so I was like, oh, this is something I should share. So, anyways, real quick, uh, this is gonna be a really short episode because I've got so much. I've got like 19 boxes to pack and tons of stuff to list, and it is just it's kicking my butt these everyday shows. Um, but anyways, it is what it is. Sarah can't come today either, my assistant. So that is gonna have to happen um tomorrow, but by then I'll be done with a lot of this. So, anyways, um, okay, here's where here's my I don't know when I had this idea. I've been using it for a long time. And um, today I'm gonna use it three. Well, I've used it once and I'm gonna do it another two times, but this is for anybody who sells by listing. If you're not a person who lists, this might be a reason to list. And uh, here it is. Okay, so I have this one customer, repeat customers are who I'm talking about. And um, she comes into my shows probably like almost every single time I'm on, and so obviously, when you get to know your customers, you you know about them and what their likes are, what their dislikes are, where they live, their kids, all that kind of stuff. And uh Tina, we'll just call her Tina because that's her name. Uh, Tina loves uh Charlie Brown, Snoopy, all of that. And so anytime I find anything, I don't list it, I actually just save it for her. And yes, I know I could make more money by an auction or bidding up or whatever, but at this point, she's a loyal customer, she's a friend. I would go as far as saying she's a friend, and I am happy to, you know, pay pay it back, if you will. So at this point, I have gone out actually now looking for Snoopy Charlie Brown type items. Um, and I even for Christmas got her like an inflatable wood stock that flew, uh blew up. Um, and I've done this for other people too. Addie likes trains and blah, blah, blah. I could go on. But here's where I'm at today. So if you have it listed and you have the right words there, say, well, here's what's happening today. I have new snowmen in, and I have people who collect snowmen. I have new Santa Claus Christmas type stuff coming in, and I have two clients. That's hard when you have two, but I have two that are really hardcore Santa Claus. And then I had a lady just the other day, and I can't remember her name, to be quite honest, but she came in the show asking for squirrels. And so I happened to be in another show buying something for myself, and I saw a squirrel. So I bought said squirrel, brought said squirrel home, and I just finished washing it. Um, because if it's, you know, I always try to wash these things for the most part. Um, I washed it and now I'm going to go list it. Now, the next step, how do I get the girl who got the squirrel to get this squirrel and come back and be a repeat customer? Well, the answer is pretty clear. I go into the search engine in my sold items, like whatever my items are. I guess I could walk you in there and do this. I've got my coffee. Um, I haven't even gone in there um except to get to get packages out from yesterday, because I'm like, I've got packages um from Saturday's show, packages from Sunday's show. There's packages everywhere to the point where the other day when my kid on Saturday took packages, he left two thinking that they were incoming packages instead of outcoming, outgoing. And I was like, oh my gosh. So um definitely trying to figure out where to put everything. Okay, so I have this squirrel in front of me, and I'm going on to um I'm going on to my computer so I can do this with you guys in real time. Uh of course, Bentley's at my hip or Morky. And he's like, Mom, pick me up, hold me, put me in the sling. Okay, so then if you go to it, it'll pop up with your main screen. Do this on your computer. Um, well, this is what I'm doing. There's a bunch of really great people on um in the morning, and I wish I could go shop and hang out, but alas, I have to work. Um okay, it says 19 orders. You can go in here to your shipping ones, like all of them. You click on shipping up under your shipments, okay? And then you go to all shipments, and then there's a little search engine right here, and I can put squirrel and join it with one hand because I'm holding and I did not list it. I I must have just held it up because nothing is coming up. But if I do that with Santa, for example. See, I'm trying to I need to go to market right now. I'm gonna go under orders. Here we go. There we go. You have to go under orders because it won't show up under shipments. I haven't even had a second. Okay. All right. I am cannot see the computer. Squirrel. You guys can't even see what I'm doing. Okay, there it goes. Squirrel. So it was a girl named Katie. It's under my orders, all statuses, all shows. And Katie bought this for $22. And I remember it like this other day because I was like, that's the only thing she bought. And I thought, hmm, that's interesting. She just said, Do you have anything, squirrel? And she came in and got it. So what I'm going to do now is now that I have Katie's name, I am going to take a picture of the new squirrel and say, Hey, I got new inventory. I wanted to see if you were interested in this. Now, if she likes it, I can stick it in the bin so she can just come in and get it whenever she wants. Or I could hold on to it so she comes into the auction and you know, maybe fights for it with other people. Although I don't think squirrels are, it's not like it's a hit on the Nesk or something. Um, but, anyways, that is my idea is that if you list items and you do a good job listing, I don't know why I was I was thinking it was in anyways, and you go to your orders, all statuses, all shows and marketplace, you type in the search engine squirrel, or not, you don't have to type in squirrel, whatever the item is. Oh my gosh, y'all, it is six o'clock in the morning. I haven't even had a sip of coffee. Anyways, I wanted to not forget to tell you this idea because it works, it's a good way to have repeat customers, to be able to um reach out to people that you like to be able to, you know, make somebody's day happy. I know I've collected cats for, oh gosh, I don't know, about a year and a half or something like that. My last cat got eaten by a coyote, and I we were suspecting that's what happened to the one before. So it was like in my sadness of all of that, I went balls to the walls and just collected cats, cats, cats. And um, while I was in that zone, which I can't say I'm done because I'm probably gonna have to sell the cats though. Anyways, my point is if somebody really loves something and they're a collector, they are very, very happy to be thought of, to be messaged, whatever. It just makes the world go round. Even if you don't make a lot of money, you're making the world a better place. All that said, one of my craziest episodes, but a good idea. If you like this idea, if you like this content, even the crazy ones like this, um, give me a five-star review rating and a good review. And if you didn't like this episode, there's a bunch more that are thought out and a little bit more organized, etc., etc., with a lot more information. I just thought this was a good one for you guys. Um, there's a lot of people who collect everything. I'm I'm sitting here thinking of all the I could go on and on about all the different people. I've I've got just a few examples. Had some guy who collected Bibles. I had a guy who collected, he had um Airbnbs and he collected um those big coffee table books. I probably, I kid you not, probably sold one guy about $700 worth, if not more, worth of giant coffee table books because he has Airbnbs and he would put them in there. So you really just never know. But if you do find somebody who is collecting something like that, um, owls, birds, silver. There was a guy last night who came in and got the L.E. Smith uh moon and stars thing, and he told me he collected them. Well, of course, my first thought is I have an amber one, I have a blue one, I just gotta find them, locate them, and then I'll message them. So, anyways, that's it, guys. Bentley wants to play. I gotta drink my coffee. Hopefully, I'll see you this morning at 7 45 a.m. And um, I hope you're having a great day buying and selling on whatnot, and uh that all of your endeavors are working out. All right, we'll talk to you later. Bye bye.
