Good luck Duck, "If you bring the duck, you bring the luck"
Well, good afternoon. It is July the 5th, 2026, and straight from the highly cavernated studio, this is Real Slot Talk with yours truly, Willie B. Now, today we're going to continue in our trail of reviewing games because there are so many games hitting the casino floor these days. It's almost impossible to keep up with all of them. But I want to at least try. And I feel like I owe that to you guys. So, as always, this episode will be brought to you by the Good Luck Duck. Because if you bring the duck, you bring the luck. And with that, we're going to review today's game by Konami, and it is called Red Fortune Rail. Now, I'm going to go ahead and give you my disclaimer. Wasn't a huge fan of it, um, because it's one of those cartoon style games, as I call it. And I'm just not, I just can't seem to get into those cartoon style games. But I sat down and played it because I know it is a really popular game. And so I wanted to kind of give you my take on Red Fortune Rail and see if my thought process aligns with yours. So, first of all, uh, you normally have your normal denoms one cent, two cent, five cent, and ten cent. Uh, so on one cent denom, that gives you the typical 88, 176, 264, 440, and of course, for you high rollers, the 880. That is not in my wheelhouse, I promise you. But nevertheless, I sat down, I played the game. So just so you know, uh, you can get up to 25 free games, and in the free games, the wiles can be multipliers, and it can multiply up to 27 times. Um, you're have you have stack symbols on rows one and two, and then on rows three, four, and five uh is where the wheels are. I'm sorry, the wiles. Uh, I did watch uh cowboy slots on YouTube that played this game, and he had really good luck with it. Um, of course, he was betting way higher than I was, but nevertheless, you can go watch Cowboy Slots and uh play the Red Fortune Rail, and you can see all of the different bonuses because I think in that video he hit pretty much most, if not all, of the bonuses. So if you get six of the gold pots, that of course is your holding spin. Um, now the one thing to note about the holding spin on Red Fortune Rail is it does not reset the spins if you get another gold pot. You only have a certain set amount of spins, and then once they're gone, they're gone, unless you get a gold pot that has add plus one spin, so to speak. Now, the train that's up at the top, the big animated train, can throw down extra pots. It can also throw down the train symbol or the bell symbol, which alludes to even bigger bonuses. Uh, so that was kind of my thing. Is I wasn't crazy that it didn't reset the spins once you get another pot. Um, I mean, I guess it could go either way if you if you're getting the extra spins on the on the added pots, I guess it comes out to the same. All comes out in the wash, so to speak. Now, everybody says that the most money to win on this game is in the gongs. So if you get three gongs, which are on the three middle reels, uh, that is really where the money is in this game. Uh, I did get the gongs, uh, and it has a little train, animated train that runs along the top of the reels, and it can also trigger the uh holding spin. So if you let's say the train stops before the reels do, and you have three gold pots up top, and then you land three gold pots on the reels below, boom, there's your six. So I get that animation, and I think it's a cool feature. I think it is something that is unique uh to the hold and spin feature that you don't see in any other game. So I do applaud them for that. So that is one positive because I'm not gonna I'm not gonna just sit here and trash the game because it was fun to play. I wish I had won a little bit more on it than I did, but you know, I've just wanted to try the game out, and I tried it at the 88 cents per spin just so that I could get it. Seems always on minimum bet is where games will always hit the most bonuses. So when I'm trying out a game to see all the features that it has, I'll put it on minimum bet on one cent denom just so that I can see how the features play out. Uh, unfortunately, that wasn't the case on this game. Maybe it just it the machine hadn't been woken up yet. I don't know. I did have the good luck duck sitting on the machine, but the train just did not stop at that station and pick the duck up, I guess. I I don't know. That's the only thing I can figure out. All right, on to the game review. So it also has your wager saver so that when it does take all of your money and you're down to 34 cents, you can get the wager saver and hopefully win that free spin. Now, I have seen people win, come back and win a pretty fair decent amount on the wager saver. So there's always that because that's one of the features that I like on uh the Dragon Links is that wager saver, basically. That lucky dragon spin. That's that's always my favorite. I love to save my my tickets throughout the session of play, and when I get a 20 cent, 50 cent dollar, whatever, I stack them up, and at the end of the night, I'll go find me a Dragon Link and I'm I'm doing the lucky chance spins. I just think that's the coolest feature ever. Um if you get the red fortune rail bonus, it's really hard to hit, but if you get it, it is known for massive wins. Uh, there are some YouTube videos videos out there that show the red fortune rail uh bonus, and it's pretty cool. Uh, it's just really hard to hit, and I guess because it has massive wins, that would be why. Um the gong bonus, let's say you're spinning and you get two gongs, and you get it on real uh three and four, but not five. The train up top, the big animated train, can stomp the ground or stomp the rail, I guess, and drop down until it clicks down to where another gong. So that's basically your luck has arrived, if you will. Um, so that that's that's really cool. Um, I like games that have luck has arrived. Sometimes it feels like if a game is on take mode, it's just nice to know that a game says, Okay, look, I've taken enough of your money, let me give you an empathy spin. And that's kind of what it seems like. Um, but all in all, I mean, it's it's a cool game to play. Uh, it's not to the level of, say, the big bucks monopoly type game, but this is a very extremely popular game to play. And I will say that one of the most favorite places that people seem to like this machine, this game, is from is when it's in the high limit room. Now, your minimum denom in the high limit room is usually 10 cent denom, so you're gonna be starting out at about probably I think around five to eight dollars a spin minimum, uh, starting in the high limit room. But people seem to think that it pays better in the high limit room, but it is still a high volatile. So say that one time fast high volatility game. Uh somebody said the other day, it seems like all games now are high volatility. You know, it seems like sometimes the whole casino is high volatility. Um, you know, it's bad when you go into a casino and the only thing that pays is the ATM. But you know, that's why they call it gambling. We're chasing the possibility of a win, we're not chasing paychecks. So there is that to always remember and to remember to gamble responsibly. But if you take the good luck duck with you, I've told someone the other day that said, even when you lose, you still believe in the good luck duck. I said, Well, what the good luck duck does, it gives me somebody to blame. Because if I I can't blame the machine because it's run by RNG, I can't blame the casino, they're trying to make money. So that only leaves me with one person to blame, and that's the good luck duck. So if the good luck duck doesn't do his job, guess what? He's riding in the back seat on the way home, I promise you. But you know, it is it is a fun game to play. I've not been a big fan of any of Konami's games, they they seem to all have the same features, they all seem to have the same uh playability, I guess I want to call it. Konami has not yet come out with something that's caught my attention. Like I said, though, this game is very popular uh amongst other players, so they've they do have an audience. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they they don't have an audience because they absolutely do have an audience. They've just not developed a game that has caught my attention yet. And doesn't mean that they won't do it with the rate that game manufacturers are coming out with games hitting the casino floors this year this year, especially, this year and next year, expect to see by the end of 27, you're not going to recognize most casino floors because there's going to be so many new games. And I think what they're trying to do is they're trying to get enough new games out there to eliminate the games that we absolutely love, or at least I do, uh, is the old school three reel machines. And I get somebody told me the other day we were talking about this, and they said, ah, you know, the thing about the the old school three-reel games, the triple seven or the triple diamond, and all this stuff, they're boring. You know, you got three reels, seven, seven, seven diamond. Uh, you got three reels is diamond diamond cherry. Uh, you know, and it's just over and over again. I said, Well, it's really no different than Dragon Link or the Pig game or anything else. It's they're all redundant if you really want to stop and think about it. And I think that's some of the reason behind the cartoon games that we're seeing. They're trying to keep the audience engaged while either either winning or losing during their session. So if you get a game like Monopoly Big Board Bucks or uh the pig game now with the link feature, these types of games are very engaging, they're very player interactive, and so it's it's those types of games that are keeping people sit seated longer than just your typical three real school games. So that's I think that's kind of the school of thought behind these games because every one of these games that come out are researched and highly uh funded by people companies that have the most insanely accurate human behavior skills that are attached to these games, if that makes sense. They basically study how we play and then they use that to develop the next game. And so that's why I always tell you the machine never knows that it owes you money because it's a machine and it's designed to take your money and every now and then give a little back. So there is that. So overall, my take on this red fortune rail on a scale of one to ten. Me personally, I'm gonna give it a six. Um, it does have some cool features that other games don't have, so I will bump it up to a six, but that is my personal take, and that is my opinion. And that is what wraps up this show. And I will see you again next week, right here behind this big old mic. Do not forget to caffeinate and conquer, and I will see you in line at the 8m. All right, have a great day. Bye bye.
