Dear listener,
Women vs women...
Truly, I cannot believe this type of thing is still an issue in 2026. Yet, it is.
This episode, I kind of go off the rails a little bit...I just don't get how, in spiritual circles especially, some women seem to dislike other women. We talk all the time about problematic males, but what about the females hm?
Astounds me.
I hope this episode can bring you a little food for thought.

Well, hello everyone, and welcome to the Uncoven podcast. I am your host, Sarah Sula Namir, otherwise known as that divination witch. I hope you're all doing well. Now, today's topic is one very close to my heart, and I feel I've had a fire lit up my bot by Lilith to speak on this. And it was Lilith's video on my YouTube channel that actually drove this topic of conversation, and that is women, females betraying other women and females, or whatever you want to call it. The feminine betraying the feminine. Now, there's a lot to unpack here, and this is gonna be an in-depth and maybe touchy thing, right? But it has to be said, and I don't hear anyone else saying this, and it's not lost on me the irony that the first woman, arguably, is bringing about such a hot topic. So we talk all the time, me included, about toxic men in women's spaces, especially in the witchy and spiritual communities. And I actually have an episode of this very podcast uh already filmed and edited, ready to go. That was actually gonna be my next one, and I've decided to put that behind this one because I think this is more important in a sense to talk about and feel really passionate about this, but because yes, we do have predatory males, not all males, but a fair few that are predatory, and even outside of spiritual circles, we live in a world where the manosphere exists, where those viewpoints are like really dominant in some spaces, and that's kind of fucking scary. Let's be real, it is, and yeah, I I uh it just blows my mind how there are females out there that will betray other females, and this in my humble opinion, and this could be a hot take, but this is why we don't really have that many women in power. I'll be real, it is still a systemic issue, right? If you're a man, you're taking more seriously. That's how I I personally feel. If you're a woman, you you do get a lot more criticism, and I when I say man and woman as well, I do include my trans brothers and sisters in that. You know, I'm not saying that it's uh you know this is just biological cis men and cis women that have this issue, but perception is still a fucking huge deal, right? And it's wild. I I I I I'm a bit speechless. I am a bit speechless. What happened, you see? What's brought this about? It's not me being butthurt, but it's just me being like enough's enough. Instead of getting into an argument about this, I thought I'll make a podcast episode on it because I think we need to reflect on it as a collective, and I know I do. So it was on one of my videos about Lilith, and Lilith is a hot topic within spiritual communities because you've got two camps when it comes to Lilith. You've got Lilith, devotees, and people who see her as the demoness, and you know, only want to work with her in that guise, and sometimes males do over sexualise her, absolutely, but it's not to say she's not sexual because she is, uh, but you've got that camp, and then you've got the other camp of primarily women that paint her to be like a feminist icon, which in my view, she's both, right? I kind of sit in the middle with it, but I am I am a feminist. I I am, right? I don't buy into every single thing feminism represents these days, but I am a feminist, and I will very much stick up for women's rights. Okay, as a woman, absolutely I will. And when it comes to Lilith, it does seem you you get people on either side of the camp that will snipe at each other, and that's basically what happened. There was a comment I got on a recent video about her, something about I've contradicted myself when I talked about her being Lilith the Elder. Uh it wasn't the original comments, they were a bit snarky, but whatever. I just left it. I I actually hadn't seen it to be honest, until this reply. Another woman, and I dare say a cis woman, comments on that saying, fuck feminism, it's a pile of shit, and what's it people projecting woke ideologies onto these spirits as if I'm doing that right? How can a woman it just baffled me reading that I just blocked these people, but I it baffled me like how can a woman say fuck feminism? How can you say that? If it wasn't for feminism, you wouldn't have the ability to even be sitting on YouTube commenting like that. Like, do people not get it through their thick heads? Like just how much we have needed feminism as a movement. Now I know things have changed over time and we will get into it, but women in some cultures and areas of the world today still have fuck all rights. Like I'm so passionate in this episode. Some women are second-class citizens, they're not even citizens. They're possessions, they're they're things to be owned by men. They are not even allowed to wear clothes they want to wear and things like this. I think of Afghanistan. That's a it's a controversial place, and I know the West didn't help in that. But Afghanistan, imagine you, Western woman, commenting that if you had to live there. No offense to anyone from Afghanistan listening to this. This is not to get at that, but um imagine if you had to suffer a regime like that where you weren't even allowed to show your fucking face. Sorry, I'm so passionate because it it's angered me. I think this is Lilith as well. Lilith, as a goddess, would stand up for women like that. She stands up for the marginalized regardless of gender. She doesn't give a fuck if you're a man or woman, right? She stands up for the marginalized. Even in her demonic form, and yes, she does have a form where yes, she will have lots of sex and feed off that energy and take male sperm and bloody daddy daddy da. Absolutely she does, right? Because we need sexual energy to procreate, we need it for life. Okay? Life comes from that. But that doesn't mean she wouldn't defend the innocent either. It doesn't mean she's not capable of all these things. This is absolutely ridiculousness. And if you don't believe in that, you don't have to believe in it, right? You don't have to believe in your view that Lilith cares about humanity at all. You you don't have to see her like that. That's absolutely fine. F off. You know where the door is to say such a sweeping statement of fuck feminism. This this is not getting monetised, but I'm not bothered about that. I am making this I'm making this to drive the point home. When another woman says something like that, I am flabbergasted. My flabs are gasted. Me timbers are shivered. I am totally like blown out of the water, just uh when when other areas of the world would bloody love to have the rights we do. And let's not go into politics even and and some of the troubling times we're facing in the Western world. I won't even go into that. But now more than ever, we have to be strong with who we are, male or female, right? We we have to fight for fairness, is what I would say. But I appreciate your form of fairness may not be my form of fairness, right? But Lilith, you talk about projecting onto a goddess or a spirit, right? Well, you're doing the exact same. You're projecting just a demonic, twisted view, in my view, that it's just her dark side. Is that not projection in some way? Why does somebody want to sit with that all the time? And why as a woman would you even say F feminism? Why do you want to be subservient? Are you just sign away my freedoms? Yes. Patriarchy, control me. You know, are we not controlled enough? And I noticed this person in their bio had an Alistair Crawley quote, Do what thou thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. I may have gotten the word in slightly wrong, but Crawley himself look, it pains me to say some of this because a part of me respects Crawley but a part of me hates him. And that's here's a strong word, I know. But he's a product of his time, right? He was a privileged man. He was a privileged man from a privileged background who had the time, the money, the opportunities to pursue the things he pursued. But not once did he really give a shit about a woman. Let's be real. He didn't give a shit about his own wives, he had many lovers, whatever. He kind of objectified Babylon, he objectified the role of a scarlet woman in in my view. I'm not saying everybody that believes in Thelema, for example, every Thelamine's like that, absolutely not. I'm not saying that Crawley throughout his whole life was like that. I have UPG on that, my own personal experience with that, but he was a product of his time. Feminism as a movement began in the time of Crawley. Back then, in the late 1800s to early 1900s, when suffragettes were fighting, were throwing themselves under horses and dying, were chaining themselves to railings and getting arrested and all it. Women with privilege as well, middle class women who had money were also sacrificing their reputations for other women. They did all of this for our rights. That began in the time that Crowley was kicking about. Women didn't get the vote until I wrote it in my notes, I think it was 1918. Yeah, we got we got the vote in 1918, but even that wasn't an equality thing. We didn't get the vote until the 1920s. I think that was 28, so ten years later. We were still fighting to have an equal or somewhat equal opportunity as a man to be able to vote, to be able to have a say, a voice. And women died for that and sacrificed themselves for that in many different ways, not just death. And you say, as a modern woman, fuck feminism. You absolute tool. And to say that we project this onto Lilith, do you not think Lilith would be behind the suffragettes? Do you not think that she would be supporting them? There's a divine feminine goddess who is also objectified to this day. And yeah, she uses it to her advantage, absolutely she does. She takes that energy, she uses it. She's a vampire, after all, a succubus, whatever. She does that. But she fights for the marginalized. That's Lilith. And you don't like that. You don't like that. And I I don't understand how somebody can't like that. Now I've just spoke about the first wave of feminism and how that reflects in spirituality. So you do have people this day and age that are still thalamites. Now I'm not a thelemite, I'm not judging the whole religion here. I don't know the first thing about the f the modern religion movement, ceremonial magic, whatever, the OTO and all of this. You know, it's pretty secretive, some of it, right? There's creators on YouTube that talk about it, Mavia Slynn. I've never met her in person or even online. I don't think we've had a conversation, but she is very knowledgeable about it. Go look her up if you're interested on YouTube, right? She talks a lot about it. I wouldn't say that any religion doesn't have problems, right? But there's still evidence from that person alone that shows some people are still in the 1900s mindset. And there's women lifting that up. There's so many problematic male occultists out there that are predatory, that diminish you because you're a woman, don't respect you because you're a woman, even if it's not it in a sexual manner, it's just because you're a woman, you're worthless, right? I call it the Touch Willie's Club, because honestly, that's what it feels like. There's so many like that in it. It's like as if time has stood still with these people. I just don't understand that. I just I I can't fathom it or wrap my mind around it. How can you how can you as a woman think that way? Now, let's dive more into feminism. I'm just talking about the the first wave of feminism and and how that is still impacting today in the occult communities with the crowdie fanboys and girls, you know, there's they're still in this same stuck mindset about it, right? Now, there's up to I think about four waves of feminism now. So we had the first wave, then the second wave, I'm just looking at my notes as well, was in like the 60s to the 80s, where we're talking about equal rights in the workplace, because up until that point, women weren't always guaranteed the same wage as a man, and they weren't always guaranteed to have the same opportunities. Now, some people are gonna argue, well, there's some things men can do that women can't, blah blah blah. Look, I get it to an extent, but there's certain roles like even now in colloquialisms, I think even I use them, right? So postman as an example. I always say postman, not postwoman or post person. I say postman, because it's been like that for hundreds of years. Men could only be a postman. Now, there's nothing a man can do any different in that role that a woman couldn't do. You both have to have some level of physical fitness to be able to walk around and do your rounds and whatever, but there can be somebody who is equally unfit who is male than female. So that's an example of what I mean of like gender equality in that in the second wave of feminism. So stuff like that. And it's still systemic because where, like I say, where I'm from, I still say postman, I say I say fireman. You know, women wouldn't have been in the fire service as an example. There were no female police officers as an example. Now, to some extent, and don't come at me for this, women should absolutely be police officers, but there's some dodgy situations where you do need to be physically strong. I mean, if you're I see it protests or like even match days, like football, hooliganism, uh, at least over here, if you're going somewhere where there's gonna be, you know, hell on, so to speak, fights, if you're a dainty, you know, lithe framed woman that's not very strong, that might not be an ideal position. But same could apply for a man, right? But I am all for that wave of feminism myself because why shouldn't why shouldn't if there is a job out there that both a man and a woman are doing, why shouldn't they be paid the same if the it is it should be skill-based, is what I would say. And that's the second wave of feminism and what was fought for, and then we go into the third wave of feminism into like 90s, noughties, right? Which is all about reclaiming identity, and I think this is the feminism I have been born into, and I still agree with this wholeheartedly, where women reclaim their their power, and and this really makes me think of Lilith. It's it's reclaiming our sexual identity, uh, you know, not being judged for the clothes we wear, and like, yeah, if I want to go out wearing what I want, like I will, you know, I'll do it for me, not for the male gays, you know, not dressing for the male gays, not allowing yourself to just be an object kind of thing. Like it's that kind of vibe, is what I feel. But now we're in the fourth wave of feminism, which is where this mindset seeps in about fuck feminism, it's woke. Now, walk, it's all I feel like a dinosaur in this myself, even though I'm 36. Uh I'm not that behind, but it was only in recent years I understand now that that's a slang, like derogatory term now. And wasn't a bad thing at one point. Being woke, I wouldn't have given a shit if someone I still don't really give a shit, really, if you call us woke, whatever. Uh, but we're fighting more now in feminism in the fourth wave for equality across the board, it bleeds into other rights like trans rights and other human rights. And I can agree with a lot of it, and I do. You know, to me, tra trans women are women, trans men are men. As long as you're not hurting anyone, I'm fine with you. Okay, it's any any group. What I will say with regards to that, any group, any group, right, can have bad eggs in it, and the trans people do have some bad eggs in it, but so so do cis people, right? We've got a lot of bad eggs in our basket as well. So, you know, I think when I've been called turf before on my channel. I laugh about it now, but I think where people might get that idea from is like it because I don't agree with some cases where people have been using a system, using a minority group to be predatory, and I think that's fucked right up. Uh and it it tars everyone with that brush. Uh but not everyone who is trans is that way, absolutely not. Like I am an ally, I have been, you know, I'm LGBT myself. I've grown up in those circles, and I've seen internalized homophobia and transphobia within the LGBT community as well. But I do know how important it is that we have to stand up for one another and be there for one another, you know, because we are marginalized, we are. If you're in that community, we are, but as an I guess I'm getting pushing an elder LGBT person now. Well, getting there, sort of, by someone who's been around the block a few times. I do know that there is some ridiculousness to this, right? I I do think there is when people take gender roles out of context, like people out there that identify as aliens and frogs and women chairs, like there is some absolute wild takes, and it's that kind of thing as well, not just predatory thing. I think if you're not hurting anyone, be a chair, right? But you can't you can't literally force someone to call you a chair, you know. There I'm not saying everyone does this, right? But but there is a few that spoil it for the the rest, you know, and there's there is some ridiculous takes, there is uh there's some sort of damaging ones as well where I have seen young kids, I see it on YouTube all the time, identifying as cats and dogs, and foxes and wolves, and that and I in a sense there's the look if that's your interest, and if that's what you feel drawn to, it's like me and my spirituality, right? I'm all for it, okay. But you're still a human being and you're still having a human experience. Maybe you were a cat in a past life. You know, there's some cultures out there that do believe we could have been animals in a past life. Maybe it's your spirit guide, maybe it's your spirit animal. You know, there's many cultures that talk about spirit animals, right? I'm not there to dismiss it, and I'm not there to dismiss the people who identify in a way with you know. Being a cat or whatever, but I think it's so damaging when you we're enabling it, uh you know. Like I've heard stories of kids in school where the teachers are saying you've got to call them a cat. They're still a there's still a child, right? I know myself when I was young, there was a a girl I was close with when I first came out, she said she was gay as well. She wasn't, she admitted later years down the line that she did it for attention. We have to bear in mind that some people will do this sort of shit for attention. Uh it's inevitable, it's childish because they are children, and we have to protect children. It's just live and let live, yes, but live in reality as well, and know there's some things outside of the the norm that that are true given my own spirituality, given what I have seen and witnessed, and yeah, some far-flung things that even I've seen, believe, you know, it's kind of wild, but I also know how to function outside of that. I also know that like I have to act like mundane sometimes, and like I still have a 3D life where I've gotta pay bills and like live in this physical body. Uh it's a touchy one, it's a tough one, but I can see in a sense why some people would say sweeping statements like fuck feminism, it's walk, right? And how walk can become a bad term per se. But saying fuck feminism, if we go to its root, if we didn't have feminism, you wouldn't be sitting here being able to have the rights that you have, you wouldn't have autonomy that you have. That's so worrying to me, and especially when you are talking about divine feminine goddesses, and yeah, they're from different times, okay? They're from different areas of the world and different time periods, but they're still female in nature. Of course, they're gonna be sticking up for female rights, you know, and they're not gonna want people to hurt one another, they're gonna look the gods and goddesses present in the way that we perceive them, and and it's such a complex notion because there is no black and white answer with these things, even when it comes to what I've just touched on there about people believing in that I'm a cat or whatever, like there's no black and white in a sense, but we also have to like realise our impact on one another in the physical world, so Lilith going back to her, she can indeed represent many things to many different people, she can be adversarial in nature, and she is to some people. That's not to say she's not benevolent to other people, that's not to say that she doesn't defend other people. Our world view as humans is different for every single person, and no two people are gonna see things the exact same, therefore, when it comes to stuff like goddesses to to state sweeping statements like that, you can disagree with me absolutely, and you can say, No, I think Lilith is this, but ultimately you have to accept on some level, just like I have to, that somebody out there is gonna think the opposite thing. That's okay. What's not okay is damaging other people, and therefore, sweeping statements like fuck feminism, wokeness, all of this is damaging, and the wokeness stuff, I can understand to an extent why people think that way because some of it does get a bit out of hand, but we're privileged enough to be able to get out of hand, and even the things that are out of hand, well, hopefully, I don't know with this cat thing. This I think they're called therians, right? Hopefully, in time, people can understand it better, people can understand it more. Hopefully, in time, these children, if there are some attention seekers in with that, will grow out of it, or it will evolve into something else, a spiritual practice, or whatever, right? I mean, as long as they're not hurting one another, that's the thing. On both sides of the spectrum in life, it's it's such a deep conversation to be having, really. You know, you've got people this day and age talking about LGBT stuff, right? There's still conversion therapy out there, right? That's harming people, that's hurting people, you know. That's that's far right stuff, and then you've got the other side, which is like, oh, let's accept everything ever. You're a chair. What you know, it's it's two polarities that are equally as damaging in my view, and I think that's why I got a call the turf once or twice. It's not because I am, but I think some things are damaging, right? Anyways, that's my take on it, and that's my opinion, right? And again, you can agree, you can disagree, but to say fuck feminism, pfft, you've lost me there. Absolutely, absolutely, and this is why we don't have a matriarchy. We we don't this the the look, I'm gonna say something controversial now. It's not the first time I've known women like this, even before I was spiritual. I've known women like this. I remember someone I worked with was kind of like this saying that she she would love to be just a housewife and looked after. Some people covet that, some people want that. To me, that's insane. I know some people don't have a choice, but to want to hold to hand your power over, it's not the housewife thing, right? It's more handing your power over. What you want you willingly would hand your power over if you could. That is wild to me, and especially my spiritual journey, my path, left hand path, people demonize that all the time. But left-hand path is about self-sovereignty and about cultivating your own power, cultivating your own presence, your own sense of self and being, and to not have to rely on others all the time. Not to say you can't, it's not to say be heartless or anything like that, but we generally speaking on the left hand we have to solve our own shit, because if you don't, there's no guarantee someone else will. Why would they, right? If you don't value yourself, why would anyone else value? And I just think that's deeply sad, I really do. Anyways, so I think we're gonna wrap it up here because I could just ramble on about this all day, and I don't want to. I got very passionate at the beginning, I doubt this will ever be monetized. I don't care. What I do care about is just getting it off my chest and spreading awareness because in spiritual circles, this rhetoric is equally as damaging as non-spiritual circles as well, and I do think like give your head a shake if you're a woman who is saying fuck feminism. Look, we can say that there are some takes out there that I've mentioned some that can be a bit out there and damaging, but fuck feminism, are you for real? Are you actually on this planet? No, you're probably not actually insane. That's that's that's the way I see it. Let me know your thoughts. I like to end these episodes on a journaling prompt normally, so I don't really this time I don't really have like a prompt per se. I mean, what are your thoughts? That's that's my prompt. You can share them in the comments on YouTube if you're on there or elsewhere. Get in touch with me if you want. I won't tolerate any abuse though, you know. Uh but what do you think? What do you think about this? It's a very a very uh strong, touchy subject, but one that has to be covered, right? And yeah, that that's basically it. I hope this I hope this is uh food for thought. Yeah. Alright, uh take care everybody until next time. Bye bye.
