I can get caught up in striving to do good for God and forget that the whole point of our relationship is to enjoy what he does for me and to offer up joyful obedience.  Today's passages have more to say about this relational God who keeps surprising me:  Exodus 18-19, Matthew 22:23-46, Psalm 28, Proverbs 6:24-35.
