What can a beginner actually build with a delivery platform, without a web designer, without a tech background, and without knowing how to code?

Most beginners assume that building the infrastructure behind a digital business requires technical skills they do not have. The truth is that delivery platforms exist specifically so that beginners can build a functioning digital business on their own, without hiring anyone and without learning to code.

In this episode, we walk through six things a beginner can build using a delivery platform, explained in plain language with real examples from the Grow With Laura business. By the end, you will have a clear picture of what is actually possible for you right now, not someday when you feel more ready.

You will learn:

What a landing page is and why it is usually the first thing a beginner builds

What a sales page does and the three questions it needs to answer

How a thank you page can do more than just say thank you

What an email sequence is and how automation works in simple terms

How digital product delivery works automatically after a purchase

What a full connected funnel looks like when all the pieces come together

If you have been telling yourself you are not techy enough to build this, this episode is going to change how you think about what is possible for your digital business.

This is part of the Delivery Platform Series, walking beginners through the tools and infrastructure behind a real digital business, one step at a time.

Welcome to the Grow with Laura podcast where we talk about building income online as a beginner without confusion, pressure, or pretending to have it all figured out. My name is Laura, and this podcast is for digital beginners who are curious about online business, digital marketing, and using social media as a tool to build something meaningful. If you are learning, exploring, or trying to find your footing in this space, you are in the right place. In the last episode, we broke down the difference between a funnel and a website. We talked about what each one does, why they are not the same thing, and why, for most beginners, with one clear offer, a funnel is the smarter and faster starting point. Today we are building on that. Because now that you understand what a delivery platform is and how a funnel works, the next question is a natural one. What can I actually build with a delivery platform? Okay, what does this look like in practice for someone who is just starting out, does not have a tech background, me, and has never built anything like this before? Me again. This is exactly what we are covering today. And I think by the end of this episode, in fact, I'm almost sure, you are going to feel a lot more confident about what is actually possible for you right now. So let's get right into it. Okay. I want to start with something I hear a lot from beginners. Me inclusive, in fact, me topping that list. I am not techie. I would not even know where to start. I feel like I need to hire someone to build this for me. I hear that all the time. I have said it all the time in the past, too. I understand that completely because I was in that exact place. Like right there on the spot, right there. That was me. Okay? Still me sometimes. I looked at what other people had built online and thought, I could never do that myself. See? Doubting Thomas, there you go. But here is what I know now that I wish someone had told me then. A delivery platform is designed specifically so that people without a tech background can build a real functioning digital business on their own. Hear me clearly. No web designer, you don't need a developer, no coding experience, none of that. And the range of what you can build is much wider than most beginners realize. I did not know that myself, but it is true. So let me walk you through it. I am going to take you through the main things a beginner can build using a delivery platform. Explain simply, we keep it simple here, so you can start to see which of these applies to where you are right now. The first thing you can build is a landing page. Just think about it. Landing page, that's where you land. Okay. A landing page is a single focused page with one purpose. It might be a page that offers your audience something free in exchange for their email address, a guide, a checklist, a workbook, a resource of some kind. Someone lands on that page, they see what they are getting, they enter their name and email, and they receive it automatically. And this is another very crucial thing that you get from this. This is how you start building your email list. And your email list is one of the most important assets in your digital business because it is yours. It's not owned by the almighty algorithm, it's not owned by TikTok or Instagram or whoever. It's not dependent on the platform deciding whether your content gets seen today or tomorrow or never. It's yours. A landing page is usually the very first thing a beginner builds on a delivery platform. And it does not need to be complicated. One clear headline, a few lines explaining what they are getting, a simple form. That is it. The second thing you can build is a sales page. A sales page is where your offer lives. It is the page that presents your digital product, your workbook, your course, your program, whatever it is you are selling, and invite someone to buy it. A good sales page answers three questions for the reader. Is this for me? What will I get? Why should I trust this person? When those three questions are answered clearly, someone can make a confident decision about whether to buy. And a delivery platform gives you the tools to build that page yourself without needing to know how to code or design from scratch. Trust me, I don't know how to do none of that. But somehow I was able to build my own page. The third thing you can build is a thank you page. Okay, they bought your stuff, you gotta say thank you. Our parents did teach us well. This is a page someone lands on immediately after they sign up or after they buy, right? It confirms what just happened, it tells them uh what to expect next, and uh it also I mean it's it is also a smart place to introduce the next step in your funnel, whatever that may be. Okay, for example, after someone signs up for your free resource, your thank you page might say, While you wait for your resource to arrive, here is something else that will help you even more. And that something else is your paid offer, right? That is not pushing, that is simply making the most of a moment when someone has already said yes to you once, and obviously, this is something that they need as well. Now, the fourth thing you can build is an email sequence. Once someone joins your list, you do not have to manually email them every time you want to stay in touch. A delivery platform allows you to set up a sequence of emails in advance that go out automatically on a schedule you decide. We want to make life easier, life on its own can be so stressful. So let's find ways to make it easier. So, on day one, they receive a welcome email. You gotta say welcome for what they're about to do with you, right? On day three, for example, they receive something that builds trust. How am I gonna pay you for something if I don't trust you? On day five, they hear about your offer. All of that happens automatically, whether you're working, resting, or away from your phone. That is what people mean when they talk about automation. It is not complicated, at least, not this one. It is simply setting things up once so they work for you consistently over time. The fifth thing you can build is a digital product delivery system. When someone buys your product, they need to receive it. A delivery platform handles this automatically. The moment a payment goes through, the buyer receives an email with access to whatever they purchased. So it could be like a workbook, a PDF, a video, a course, access to a program. I mean, it goes to them instantly without you doing anything manually. For those of you that have bought my one decision workbook, that was the process. This is how I deliver the one decision workbook. Someone pays, they receive everything automatically, and I do not have to be sitting at my laptop to make that happen. The sixth thing you can build is a full funnel that connects all of these pieces together. A landing page that captures someone's email, a thank you page that introduces your paid offer, a sales page where they can buy an automated email sequence that nurtures the relationship, and a delivery system that sends them what they paid for. All of that connected, running automatically, built by you inside one delivery platform. This is a functioning digital business. Not a complicated one, not a perfect one, but a real one. And it is something a beginner can build. Don't say you're a beginner and leave stuff on the table. No, you can do this. I did it, I'm doing it, and I'm like the worst beginner because I was not good at technology, but I am doing it and very happy doing it as well. Like I said, I know this because I built it. And Insight She started here, building this foundation is one of the first things we do together. Because once you have these pieces in place, everything else you build has somewhere to land. Your content has a destination, your audience has a path to follow, and your offer has a home. In the next episode, we are going to look at the delivery platforms that are available to beginners, which makes each one different, and how to start thinking about which one might be the right fit for where you are.
