Welcome to the Girl with Laura podcast, where we talk about building income online as a beginner without confusion, pressure, or pretending to have it all figured out. My name is Laura, and this podcast is for digital beginners who are curious about online business, digital marketing, and using social media as a tool to build something meaningful. If you are learning, exploring, or trying to find your footing in this space, you are in the right place. In the last episode, we walked through six things a beginner can build using a delivery platform. From a simple landing page all the way to a fully connected funnel that runs automatically. And when we talked about how none of it requires a tech background or a web designer to make it happen. Today we are talking about where you actually go to build all of that. Because there are several delivery platforms available, and before you commit to one, you deserve to know what your other options are. We are going to look at the main platforms beginners come across, what makes each one different, and then I am going to tell you exactly which one I use, why I chose it, and how you can get started with it yourself. So let's get right into it. Okay. Let me start by saying something important. Not all delivery platforms are built the same. Some are designed for large agencies and experienced marketers. Some are built specifically for course creators, some are powerful but complicated, some are simple but limited, and the price difference between them can be really significant. So before you choose one, it helps to understand what is out there and what each platform is actually designed to do. Okay? So I'm just gonna say this from layman's perspective. I'm no expert, you need to still go and investigate this and research it yourself. But I just want to sort of give you like a lay of the land, so to speak. Okay I am going to walk you through the main platforms you'll come across as a beginner or even a middle person or an expert, you know, wherever you are in your journey, right? And I want to be upfront about something before I do. I can describe these platforms and tell you what they are known for, but I can only speak with real confidence about one of them because it's only one of them that I am using personally. The one I use personally and have built my own business inside. That's the only one I can speak truly on, right? Everything else I am sharing is based on what these platforms are generally known for, not personal experience. That is the honest truth. I always tell you the truth here, and I think you deserve to know that before we go any further. Okay, so let's start with Go High Level. Go high level, from what I see, is a powerful all-in-one platform that is very popular with digital marketers and agencies. It has a wide range of features, including funnels, email marketing, SMS marketing, CRM tools, and more. It is built for people who are running established businesses or managing multiple clients. Okay, the learning curve is steeper than most beginner platforms, and the pricing reflects the level of functionality it offers. It is not, and this is just my opinion, it is not where I would point a beginner who is just starting out, especially when you're not very techie, and building their first funnel. In time, it will come in very useful for you. But if you're just kind of starting out, I'm not too sure there. Okay, another one is Kajabi. I always hear about Kajabi, right? Again, this is not one that I use personally, it's just what I know from a distance. Okay, Kajabi is one of the most well-known platforms for course creators and coaches. Like I said, I see this, I have not used this personally myself, but I know people who use it. Uh, it has beautiful design, strong course delivery features, and a good reputation in the online education space. It really does. You always hear about Kajabi, right? However, the price point is one of the highest in the market from my own little research. For a beginner who has not yet validated their offer or made their first sale, that monthly investment can feel like a lot of pressure before you have even started earning. So you want to keep that in mind. Uh, then there's Carter. Carter is another all-in-one platform with strong funnel and email marketing capabilities. I'm not too familiar with it. I mean, it's I I hear it's it is feature rich, uh, which is a good thing once you know what you are doing, but it can feel overwhelming when you are new. That's what I hear. Like Kajabi, the pricing too is quite on the higher end as well for beginners. Uh, there are other ones worth mentioning as well, teachable and think a fake. Uh, both of these platforms are focused primarily on course creation and delivery. If your main goal is to host and sell an online course, uh, they are solid options, and this is just me from a distance just observing. Okay, and I'm not a very techie person, keep that in mind. However, uh, they are more limited when it comes to building full funnels, landing pages, and automated email sequences, just from what I hear. Okay. Uh, let's see, you would likely need to combine them with other tools to get the full picture, which adds complexity and cost. And then there is the platform I use, so I can speak solidly behind this one for myself. System e.io. I use that, and I want to be transparent with you. I am an affiliate for systeme.io, which means if you use my link to sign up, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Okay, just so you know, okay. But I want to be equally clear that I became an affiliate because I was already using it and I and already believing in it. So if you sign up for system e.io, get the paid version, you too would become an affiliate. Okay, so just keep that in mind. Um, when I picked system e.io, I didn't even know that there was an affiliate program, actually, to be honest, I did not know. I chose it because it works for where I am, and it, you know, at that time, I mean, I feel like it's the only platform that I can teach from a place of genuine personal experience, right? Um, when I picked it, it worked for me and it was simpler to use. Remember, I'm not a very techie person, so it it worked, it it just worked so uh easily um for me than some of the other ones that I had attempted to venture from a distance. I was like, no, I can't do this one. Okay, so let me tell you what makes system e.io different, especially for beginners. Okay. First, it has a free plan that actually lets you build something real, right? Not a trial, not a limited demo, a free plan where you can build funnels, collect emails, sell digital products, and set automations, but not too much. You can just do like you know, um, one, two, three, so you don't have excess for full transparency, but at least it gets you to try it, right? Now, of course, you're going to need more, you're going to need more funnels, you're going to need more things. Then you have to move on to uh the paid plan. But you can start building your digital business on systeme.io without spending a single dollar. Okay. Second, it is genuinely beginner-friendly. The interface is clean and straightforward. You do not need a tech background to find your way around. And when you do get stuck, uh, there's the support and there's a community that are accessible and helpful. Third, it is a true all-in-one platform, right? Now, it has all these things, and I'm just going to okay. Let me let's just let me just tell you what it has, right? It has funnels, email marketing, course hosting, digital product delivery, payment processing, automations. All of it lives in one place. You're not stitching together five different tools and hoping they all talk to each other. Everything is connected inside one platform, which keeps things simple and keeps your cost low. Okay, you can still have some of these things outside if you choose to, that's entirely up to you. Uh, fourth, the paid plans are genuinely affordable compared to the alternatives. I am on a paid plan, and what I get for the price is something that would cost significantly more on most other platforms. For a beginner who is building something real, but also being smart about where they spend money, that really matters, right? Uh, let's see, fifth, and this is something I think is really valuable. I can actually help you with it because I have built inside system e.io personally. I know how it works, I know where things leave, I know how to set things up, and if you reach out to me directly, I am happy to show you how I navigate it from my own experience. Okay. Um, so you are not just getting a platform recommendation, just so you know, you are getting someone who has used it, built on it, and is willing to walk alongside you as you do the same. My affiliate link will be in the show notes. If you choose to use it, I say thank you. Okay? And if you want to reach out uh before you commit, please do. I would rather you make the right decision than the fast one. In the next episode, we are going inside Systeme.io properly. I am going to walk you through exactly what it is in there and what it looks like when you first log in and how I personally use it to run the Grow with LoRa business.
