SPEAKER_04JoJo on the go.
unknownJeez.
SPEAKER_02I know. Too many hats.
SPEAKER_05What's the Panama hack up in the corner there?
SPEAKER_06Quite the look. Who's that? It's me, Jagger.
SPEAKER_05What's that voice?
SPEAKER_06That's my tiki adventure voice.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. He's a good one.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's right. It's time for the uh-the-go tiki adventure tour. Down the panhandle of Flower.
SPEAKER_07Yes, we want to thank Destin Private Tiki and the board chef uh Artisan Charcuterie for sponsoring this event. So me and my plus one will be headed out on the sounds of uh Destin with seven lucky listeners in their plus ones. It's gonna be awesome.
SPEAKER_06And we're all gonna talk like this.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's because they're having charcuterie. That's why they're talking like that.
SPEAKER_07Charcuterie and wine.
SPEAKER_02Wasn't it BYO?
SPEAKER_07It is. Yeah, but we can't bring red wine because it'll stain the deck.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_08Well, what are you worried about?
SPEAKER_07You're bringing Boone's farm. I thought he said dick, but he said deck, so I think it's fine. So what happens? You can't have wine on the deck? You can have white wine, but not red wine. I can't see you guys. I'm taking this. Why is the deck white?
SPEAKER_02That's yeah. Hell if I know.
SPEAKER_07Or unless somebody got killed. Yes. You spill it. They don't want any sort of investigation on that boat just in case.
SPEAKER_02Is it wine? Is it blood? We don't know.
SPEAKER_07It never knows. Straw's boat?
SPEAKER_02They're obviously not good serial killers.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, looking forward to that. That's later this evening. So the boat itself, like the roof is what?
SPEAKER_05Straw?
SPEAKER_07Hay? I think so, yeah. I think it's got like a like a floating hut. Yeah, floating hut. And so it's got like a bar down the middle. So we're gonna be a bunch of strangers and we're gonna sit and talk about the podcast, I guess. I don't really know what we're gonna do. I haven't thought that far ahead. Drink.
SPEAKER_02Honestly, those are situations where I would thrive. Like any sort of home going someplace where I don't know one. I feel like I can start any sort of conversation. So if you want to dial me in, I'll I'll just like Oh, I will definitely do that to you guys.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, don't do it to me. I didn't say it like that. Also, you know, since my uh day job is remote with the Red Cross, Jenna, and you love jumping in on awkwardness and stuff. They do these things where they have us break off into groups in the teams.
SPEAKER_08Oh, no, it's an icebreaker. Yeah, breakout room.
SPEAKER_05And you don't and and the and right before the guy throws you in there, he's like, and none of you know who you're going in with. It's random, and we love that. Here we go. That's not for you. It's not for me. It's like, so there's six strangers, and you're gonna just throw me in some other room with two of them, and but actually, I got along really well. We're proud of you, buddy. Look at me functioning. We love it.
SPEAKER_02That's a big thing.
SPEAKER_05Look at our boy, Jana.
SPEAKER_07Our special boy. Yeah. He's so special that he just drops in and out. Friday, he's got a gig, I think he's about to say.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he does. Not another elementary school, though, I believe. I think this one's uh he's leveled up, you know.
SPEAKER_07Friday is it? Go ahead. No, we're just debating where you're gonna be Friday. Is it is it an elementary school or where?
SPEAKER_05Oh, I turned myself off so you wouldn't find out. Oh, good, because I wasn't coming anyway. Holidaysburg High School for uh Mini Thon. It's a fundraiser. Oh, that's I will be the entertainment.
SPEAKER_02That's a great cause. Yes again.
SPEAKER_05And Saturday I will also be uh somewhere, but I can't say anything about that yet. Oh, jaws are gonna drop. Are you all right today? That's my jaw dropping. I think you're in any position to be on the water at any way shape. I'm on a tiki high. I'm on a tiki high.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, he's the one who gets to go on floating high. That's for sure. Mind if you share a little?
SPEAKER_07Yes, I'll ship you some. Yeah, you're not gonna do it. You know they have THC drinks here at the grocery stores or like convenience stores before that where you are?
SPEAKER_02Um no, I don't think at the grocery store, but my brother has purchased like beers that have actual THC in them because he's into that kind of thing. Um, but I've never seen it with like my local wedmonts. Yes, he is.
SPEAKER_05Honestly, half of those are fake.
SPEAKER_07Are they?
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_07See, I'm such a noob and an amateur. Like I've never well, I've never had one, and I've never I've in my lifetime I've taken one half a gummy ever. You're so brave. I know. And I thought everything was hilarious for like 30 minutes. Well, that's good.
SPEAKER_02It feels really good until it goes really bad, especially if you do have any semblance of anxiety. Like I could sometimes be like really good, having a great time, laughing, and all of a sudden my head hits the pillow, and I'm like, is this real life?
SPEAKER_07Like the fact that you got to rest. Like so, as a work experiment, should I get a six-pack of those THC drinks and bring them on the boat? I don't think that the Tiki people would like that.
SPEAKER_02That in a rocking boat just seems kind of terrifying to me.
SPEAKER_05Maybe just think with dramamine. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Call it a day.
SPEAKER_05Some people with those edibles, since we're bringing that up, um surprise. Some folks uh in their liver, they lack the enzyme necessary to activate those. So they could literally eat a thousand gummies and feel absolutely nothing.
SPEAKER_02See, that's dangerous though, because if you're like showing off in front of the wrong people, then they might try and do it, and you could get very sick. What are you gonna do?
SPEAKER_07End up in Pittsburgh Mid. You eat too many of those gummies. For real. Speaking of, you guys watching the pit? Of course. Oh my god, I love the pit. I love the pit so much.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'm on uh I'm halfway through season two, so the fourth of July season. Yes. It's dandy. Uh I I thoroughly enjoy it.
SPEAKER_07The pit. Yes, and you got Noah Wiley, of course, which is wonderful. But I love the the the concept. Remember the old uh Kiefer Sutherland, the 24, where it was minute by minute? Yeah. And so having that in the pit and then the shot for shots.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_07I love the show, man.
SPEAKER_02Well, yeah, and what I love about it too is, and I've watched a doozy of medical shows over the years, you know, and there's some that I really have enjoyed. I had a very committed and toxic relationship to Gray's Anatomy until I finally decided it's enough's enough. But what I love about it is that there's a couple of um like love things and and like off spin topics, but for the most part, they focus on the medical. And I really love that. Um I feel like it makes me again want to be a doctor, which I once thought of as well. Uh and then I get brought back to reality.
SPEAKER_05Try watching that with a a nurse as a spouse. Oh, that's true. She ruins every episode. Yeah. That's not how it happens. Although, to be fair, That's not what they do.
SPEAKER_02It's accurate, though, that show.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's more accurate than a lot of them because she'll point it out, doesn't matter if it's Chicago Met or Gray's Anatomy, she'll be like, that's not what really happened. But you know what? Right in radio, when they show a radio station, the person walks in one second before their show starts, doesn't even put on headphones and like, hey, what up, budge?
SPEAKER_07So you just were on WKRP in Cincinnati for her when you guys watch that.
SPEAKER_02You know that show more realistic. I do not actually.
SPEAKER_05Of course you don't. The show's 50 years old. Of course you know it, Jana. Practically came out yesterday.
SPEAKER_02But of course.
SPEAKER_07I'm just bringing up good references. What? I'm just bringing up good references for our audience. You know, there's a couple of KRP fans out there. You. Me.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_05Janna, I came across somebody who has an interesting job slash career that she, I guess, has a hard time believing this person makes a living doing what they do.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So first of all, I had a lot of questions while I was on this one flight coming home the other night. I didn't land till like 11:30 at night. Um, I got locked out of my house, which a whole other discussion. But um by the landlord.
SPEAKER_07There was a a yellow slip on the door.
SPEAKER_02Right. Uh yeah, I was evicted by myself. Um no, so first of all, I was on the flight and I saw a flight attendant sit down in a seat in a flight. No, there she's seen that before, like sit in a passenger seat.
SPEAKER_05Oh no, not in a passenger seat. There's weird sideways seats. Oh, they got those jump seats, yeah.
SPEAKER_02No, but she like she literally said to another passenger, I I just need a minute. I need a break. And she sat down and whipped out her phone and was like scrolling on Instagram. Oh no. What is happening? I don't think that's allowed. Her and the other flight attendant were so loud. This was on Southwest, which again, it was a fine flight. And actually, I ended up giving her a compliment because I was like, Hey, your energy is like contagious, like you've got great vibes, like you like, like you're doing great. But this was all before she did what she did. So I'm like, oh, I should probably retract now. She's feeling too comfortable. But anyway, so her and the other girl were like talking very, very loud, and she's like, Yeah, so my daughter was at work and she's like, Oh, where does she work? And she's like, at a bicycle rack store. And I'm like, Uh-huh. I'm like, well, you rewind. I'm like, a bicycle, like I've heard of a bicycle store, of course. That could have come in handy when I put together my bike the other day. But a bicycle rack store, you mean she literally just sits there selling bicycle racks?
SPEAKER_07Wait a second. You walk into the store and there's just different bicycle racks? Just how does this work?
SPEAKER_05How many buzz balls did you have before you heard this story?
SPEAKER_02And so I'm sitting there and I'm thinking to myself, huh, that's a job? And I feel like there's gotta be so many more out there. So I figure we should throw it to the listeners. Yes. Maybe post it on our socials. Like, do you have a job that is not the standard like salesman, uh, claim supervisor, whatever the hell he does at the Red Cross? Like, what is something that you like do for work that people are gonna be like, oh, that's a thing?
SPEAKER_07Well, I think I've got it figured out, Jana. I don't think she works at a bicycle rack store. I think she works at a strip club named Bicycle Racks.
SPEAKER_02Oh, or yeah, maybe she works at a bicycle store and she shows her rack.
SPEAKER_07That could be. That could be forgot what I was gonna say. My hand was up for too long. It was too long. We tried to call on you, but yeah, I forgot that.
SPEAKER_05Your snooze. I'm sure I had a valid point. Oh, here's something that might people might not believe was a job, what we're doing right now. Jagger's going on in a floating hut later.
SPEAKER_02I mean, well, that's true. There is a lot of things that people will say, like, oh, you can get paid for that. You know? I mean, isn't that how OnlyFans came about?
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I also catch up on Euphoria. I I might do that today. So much to watch. So much to watch.
SPEAKER_05Zendaya is looking as mad as ever. Zendaya's in Euphoria?
SPEAKER_02She was actually one of the first celebrities I met when I worked at Sirius XM, and she was so I mean, she was young. She was like 14 at the time. But her I remember her mom being like so appreciative and humble, and like we had some great conversations. I was like, oh, I really thoroughly enjoy this girl.
SPEAKER_05Please do tell us the list of celebrities you've met while working at Sirius XM. Um honestly.
SPEAKER_02I don't really care about celebrities, so um or that was the only one. I'm just gonna at the top of my head, uh Guy Fieri.
SPEAKER_07No, Fiati. It's pronounced Fierti.
SPEAKER_02Um, the guy from Modern Family.
SPEAKER_07Who's that?
SPEAKER_02Uh Brian Cranston Jaggered the guy. It's just a guy. This is this is terrible that I forget him. The one that played uh Cam? No. Keep going.
SPEAKER_05Cam's husband?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_05Um and O'Neill?
SPEAKER_02Uh no. Um the the hilarious one, dark hair.
SPEAKER_07Cam.
SPEAKER_02Okay, anyway, moving on.
SPEAKER_07Um put it in the comments if you know who she's talking about.
SPEAKER_02Uh Lady Gaga, that was a big one. Oh, Lady Gaga.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's not from Modern Family. That was someone else you met, sorry. Did you meet Lady Gaga or you just saw her? How many times was Al Roker standing in your way?
SPEAKER_02Uh I told you he wasn't there when I was there. I don't care.
SPEAKER_05If I say he was there, he's there.
SPEAKER_02Okay, got it. Um but no, there was I mean, there was a celebrity everywhere. So at the uh you don't get phased, you know?
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah, I know what that's like totally.
SPEAKER_02I mean, and of course, the one and only Howard Stern. I mean Who? He is a celebrity at the end of the day.
SPEAKER_07Did you meet Howard or did you just see Howard? These are the questions. Nobody meets Howard.
SPEAKER_02I yeah, I'm not that that door is like literally security locked. You don't get in with a standard badge, like you need You got Ronnie the limo driver keeping you out. That's it, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I'd probably still be in broadcasting if I had that door. Right? You know? That's where it was that door when I needed it. We just needed to be able to focus without a bunch of ding bats asking us the same questions they asked us every single day. That's we didn't weren't really asking for too much, I don't think. So you you have that freedom now. Doesn't it feel good? Freedom? What the hell have I done to myself? I've got like I oh I'm gonna start my own company and I'm gonna get a full-time job. And I'm gonna do I'm gonna like I don't have what have I done? What have I done? Well, you did sit on your ass for three months, so I'm making up for a lost time. Yeah, exactly. Well, I'm sitting on my ass right now doing this podcast.
SPEAKER_02Well, eventually, listen, you're getting ready for this work from home thing. You're gonna get into the swing of it. Eventually, you'll be like me, where you don't sit down, you just have a standing desk all the time. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07I think I hate that. I enjoy it. No, thank you. I love being sedentary.
SPEAKER_02So I'll bring my laptop onto the couch. I'll stand in the kitchen for the majority of the day.
SPEAKER_07Um I've But you have 30-year-old knees, that's the problem. Ours are not so 33.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_05How old were you when you were on our show? 10?
SPEAKER_0323.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god, the same age as my son now? Yeah. Isn't that crazy? That's too crazy. I know.
SPEAKER_02I know.
SPEAKER_03I've my first year for my age. Well, you know, I saw my wife and sent off, she, you know, 4 a.m.
SPEAKER_05She's got to be the first one to fire off the birthday text. Like, no, she'll wait to the minute you were born.
SPEAKER_02No, I I'm not sure if it's a thing to do. It's a mom thing to do.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So, um, and then I was thinking to myself, wow, 23. And then I thought about Jana and I was like, isn't she 23? Still am.
SPEAKER_02I don't look at that for sure. I got I got lines now.
SPEAKER_05Mentally, yes, physically no.
SPEAKER_02Mentally debatable.
SPEAKER_05Unbelievable. And now you're what, 47?
SPEAKER_02You know, I wish I went back to the city. Physically, yes, I wouldn't have gotten married and gotten divorced, but then I wouldn't have my kids.
SPEAKER_05So if you would listen to me, you wouldn't have gotten married and divorced.
SPEAKER_07True. Jagger, anything you'd like to add there? I think you have great relationship advice, and we all should have taken it at some point. You are the soothsayer when it comes to bad marriage.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_07Uh neither one of our exes listen, it's fine. That's for sure. So the lawyers do.
SPEAKER_05Which is a good place for us to tell you about our presenting sponsor. Welcome aboard, Pizza Knight! Make it a pizza. They have a gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza. Janel loves her cauliflower everything. I remember my cauliflower phase of cauliflower buffalo wings and pizza night does it right, though. This is a limited time special, gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza. To be clear, that's not the only thing Pizza Knight sells. If you just want a regular pie, you can do that. If you want a was it a bolus as a good bolus. Just a buck each. Just call 814-943-7000. That's 814-943-7000. They're a beautiful Al Tuna PA. Altuna.
SPEAKER_07Al Tuna. You know what I love is that that special. They got the two large, one topping, 10 cheese breadsticks, 12 wings, and a two-liter.
SPEAKER_02Amazing.
SPEAKER_07$39.99. I might get that for the tiki boat tonight.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that sounds.
SPEAKER_07Can they have it here by 6 p.m.? Central Standard Time?
SPEAKER_02You're going back in time. I'm sure they can make it happen.
SPEAKER_07Going back in time. Yep. Pizza night. I love them.
SPEAKER_05Also, they have two different sauces. One is uh their homemade sauce and one is the traditional. Uh, I will tell you the homemade sauce is a little bit on the sweeter side, and then the traditional is uh just well, it's delicious. They're both delicious. Traditional. So yeah. Try everything on the menu and tell them Jojo, Jana, and Jagger demanded that you make it a pizza night.
SPEAKER_07And tell them you want the sauces half and half, Arnold Palmer style. What half traditional, half house.
SPEAKER_05Can you not make things difficult for people just trying to do their jobs just because you have 100 PTO days?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so that that's another thing. That's a job.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Yeah. I'm still not, I think I'm the only one now in this room that has a nine to five because both you're in Orlando doing karaoke. This one's over here floating down the river in a hut on the Gulf of America. Come on now.
SPEAKER_07Well, I'm doing it for the podcast, not my regular job.
SPEAKER_05What is it, a business expense?
SPEAKER_07Yes, actually, wait, what? I didn't think of that. Yeah. Yeah, you're out gallivanting at all the fun businesses and doing all sorts of fun things at high schools and Black Look Elementary. You're out there, baby.
SPEAKER_05You're out there.
SPEAKER_08You bet.
SPEAKER_03I'm loving every minute of it.
SPEAKER_05What do you have on store today, Jenna? You floating in a hut yourself?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know, um, I uh am going to take my kid to Taekwondo because uh I am a responsible parent who takes her to activities we sign her up for.
SPEAKER_03Unlike other people. Unlike you, Jojo. I I didn't say that. You did.
SPEAKER_02Um no, but it's finally feeling like spring. I took two hours the other day to put my bike together, so I've been biking around.
SPEAKER_07I got a new bike too, Jana.
SPEAKER_02It's incre we should all do it together. I even bought my daughter one, so we have matching bikes now, and it's funny because I used to bike all the time, and then when we bought our first house, someone convinced me to told me to get rid of it because it wasn't being used, and so I finally like splurged and got myself a new one, and it was so lovely to like ride the neighborhood in the spring.
SPEAKER_07Um I can hear it now. Clearly, you're not using the bicycle, you should get rid of it.
SPEAKER_02Right. It wasn't even an option, it was literally just we're throwing it out, it's just not being used.
SPEAKER_07Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_02Well, I so I got myself a new one. Same thing.
SPEAKER_07I got myself a new one too. I'm I'm looking forward. We should bike together. Can we do that virtually?
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. I love it.
SPEAKER_07Jojo, get yourself a trike and come biking with us.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's good. It'll be fun. Really fun.
SPEAKER_07So is there a way we can do that and like put it to piece it together and make it a segment? Because I'm looking for content for the for the Roku channel now and us biking together when we're gonna be able to do that. Telling you right now. It's the last thing I'll do. Who are you again? Oh, hey.
SPEAKER_02I will say I forgot how difficult it is to multitask, like look at your phone. Um and my daughter, of course, four years old, she has to wear a helmet. She goes, but mom, why don't you have a helmet on? I said, Because I've already given up on life.
SPEAKER_08Yes.
SPEAKER_02Girl, you're right. Right. I actually do need to run to Dollar Tree. Um, I'm going to be brewing kombucha today as well.
SPEAKER_07Ew.
SPEAKER_02Uh, which is lovely for the gut.
SPEAKER_07So what ingredients do you get at Dollar Tree for that?
SPEAKER_02I just need the flip top bottle.
SPEAKER_07Oh. No ingredients.
SPEAKER_02I'm not buying the mother over there. The mother essentially looks like a placenta, in case anyone was not wondering. Ew. Yeah, but it's what makes it fermented and stuff, and uh it's so good for you.
SPEAKER_07I should start trying some kombucha. Kombucha, I'll eat it with my bowlies.
SPEAKER_02There you go. Yeah, balance.
SPEAKER_07So the Dollar Tree method, the Dollar Tree kind of style, it's so much more expensive than you think of shopping at Dollar Tree.
SPEAKER_02Agreed. There's a ton there's so many articles out there that say all the things you shouldn't buy at Dollar Tree because it becomes less cost effective. For me, it's more so like those little quick hitters that, like, you know, I'm bringing something to my kids' class, like you don't mind if it gets thrown out, you don't want to invest a lot of money like at Target. It can be literally 10 times the price for something that they're not even gonna use. So it would just make sense to do like a quick little project or or a gift bag from there. Um but like you don't you wouldn't buy a can good there because you're paying $125 when you could get a can of beans for 79 cents, you know?
SPEAKER_07Um yeah, and I see people there, they're buying like full carts of groceries, and I get it. Like it sounds like okay, I should go to Dollar Tree and it's more economical. I always look for the per ounce price or the per pound price.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_07Whenever I'm pricing anything.
SPEAKER_02I was taught that also. Um, and that really does come in handy because sometimes you're like, Well, why am I gonna pay more like for more if I'm not gonna use it? And you're like, but overall you're paying less for more.
SPEAKER_07Is it ironic that he needs resuscitation and he's the one who should be facilitating that?
SPEAKER_02Clearly, his CPR class isn't doing him any good.
SPEAKER_05I really can't convey how upset and angry I am full of reach I am right now.
SPEAKER_07Uh well, we understand, we know what's boiling underneath that smile.
SPEAKER_05With or without you has cracked. 87 times during this podcast, but thanks to the seamless editing of Jagger, you'll notice only 79 of those times.
SPEAKER_07I'm leaving it all in because we're having great conversations.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. Good. I think the world should know how much I'm suffering here at the hands of my son who built this thing.
SPEAKER_07So you need an external hard drive and get all that video.
SPEAKER_02And they probably won't allow you to do that. Hello library.
SPEAKER_05It's what we call humor here in the poor people land. We should try though.
SPEAKER_07That'd be a funny bit.
SPEAKER_05Let's all go to the library. Hilarious. By the nonfiction.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. No, that would that would be good. I've seen shows like that where it's like trying to keep people quiet and not laugh, and you're in the library and see if the librarian like says, Do librarians actually do the whole shh thing anymore, or is it just kind of like we're in 2026? Let it go.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's their main thing they're trained in.
unknownShh.
SPEAKER_03Oh, really?
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Can I please do it?
SPEAKER_02I mean, I only hang out in the kids' area.
SPEAKER_05The damn computer keeps cutting off my bike story.
SPEAKER_02You actually have a bike store?
SPEAKER_05The family dollar closed and then it was empty. All of a sudden, the lights are on, there's big TVs in there, and I can't really see what's going on. Next to what's going on is a beer store. Next to the beer store is a liquor store, because God forbid in Pennsylvania, you have a bottle of vodka and a can of beer next to each other. It's so confusing.
SPEAKER_03You have to go to all three stores to make a cocktail. How cost ineffective is that?
SPEAKER_05You know you have the state liquor store, you've got the beer store, and then now there's new this news store, and all of a sudden I look and like five people come zipping out the door on e-bikes. It's an e-bike store where they're testing the e-bikes in a parking lot shared with a liquor store and a beer store.
SPEAKER_07Sounds like a great neighborhood.
SPEAKER_02See, I have an issue with the e-bikes, the e-scooters, because again, the whole point is to get kid out kids outside and moving, right? And now they don't have to move their feet. So you might as well just have them in front of the screen and not make them be running in the street.
SPEAKER_05I have an issue with an e-scooter because I rented one in Pittsburgh. I fell within two minutes, and I ended up eating $30,000 worth of surgery. And this is like a Franken shoulder here now, thanks to an e-scooter. So before we all go zipping around, definitely A, wear a helmet. Sorry, I'm a nerd. Two, make sure you know how to use the stupid thing. And here's what's even worse. I was practicing in the back of a grocery store parking lot. Next to a liquor store.
unknownThat's right.
SPEAKER_02You know, when I lived in Pennsylvania, I went over to the Logan Valley Mall parking lot, and one of our listeners, Brenda, shout out Brenda. What up, Brenda? Um, uh her and her boyfriend, they taught me how to drive stick, and they allowed me to drive stick in the parking lot. Yeah, I'm all about that pineapple.
SPEAKER_05Jagger up for that one left and right. Yes.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, I mean, that's the old school way, right? Yeah. But now things are a lot more automatic and dangerous, and um yeah, it's it's a risky move out there.
SPEAKER_07The bike I bought has pedals. Yeah, mine's just gonna push those. There's no E.
SPEAKER_02Mine even has a cute little bell.
SPEAKER_07It just mine just says E when I get on it. It's like E!
SPEAKER_05Make sure you get a basket, Janet, for an ET comes back and needs new transports.
SPEAKER_03I can't figure out how to install it. Wait, you built the bike, but the basket is the part that got you flabbergasted. I I I will never not surprise people. Okay.
SPEAKER_05That's true.
SPEAKER_07Oh, sorry. Uh oh. What? No, I was just I was worried about your screen. What's happening over there?
SPEAKER_05I got 18 screens here.
SPEAKER_07It's like mission control over there.
SPEAKER_05At least the computer, the red cross sent me works.
SPEAKER_07For now. So you screw that up too.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_07So yeah, we're gonna go bike riding together. It's gonna be fun.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna be a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_05It's not any fun at all because Janice Athletic and your grimace. Well, the good thing with your swin.
SPEAKER_07When it's virtual, I can pretend I'm going fast. Right, right, yeah.
SPEAKER_05It's a green screen. Yes.
SPEAKER_07I'll be sitting right here while she's on a bike.
SPEAKER_05So Janna was in Disney. She said she was uh gonna be very busy at business conferences, and I don't doubt that she was, but uh her company's kind enough to make things fun too, and uh she spent time at Disney and you saw freaks there, I guess, right?
SPEAKER_02No, I mean Freaks.
SPEAKER_05Listen, I mean Disney adults, sorry.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I think it it's really crazy to me how many people are obsessed with Disney. Like I had people that were showing up to the conference because they were going to Disney Springs at night wearing like Disney collared shirts. No, Disney backpacks. And granted, there were a lot of people that brought their families with them because they were either tailing a vacation before or after, or the kids were just like out playing in the resort while we were working, whatever.
SPEAKER_07Wait, you can do that at a company thing? You can bring your family? Yeah, you can.
SPEAKER_02I mean, obviously you don't bring them to the company events or the company. I wish I had a family. It was extremely like a slap in the face where I'm just like, like uh the first night my friend and I were texting and he was like, Well, why aren't you going out? And I was like, You'd be surprised how many people brought their spouses and family. Um, but anyway, so there's people that are obsessed with Disney, and a lot of them were people who didn't have their kids with them. So I feel like it's not only people who are obsessed with Disney, it's adults without children who are obsessed with Disney that kind of like gives me anxiety. And granted, I was there in Orlando spring break. I was there during during spring break, you know? And so seeing all the kids even at the airport was like, oh my God, I can't believe I'm gonna be doing this in the fall. Um, but it it always ama is amazing to me the people who are adults without kids that are just like Disney freaks. Like I I just can't get there.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I've got to kind of dial it back because I was about to say, and I did say that that's weird and I don't get it, but I was the one who was standing behind a guy in a Superman cape waiting for an autograph from a guy that was on Saturday Night Live in the 80s.
SPEAKER_07See, I'm jealous of those people. Like, I wish I loved something that much.
SPEAKER_02I know, I know. I think about that. Maybe I'm just jealous. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I think all three of us are just jealous.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's like everything's just mediocre to me. It's like Disney's fine.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Superman's fine.
SPEAKER_05Eat your pudding and shut up, old man. Price is right coming on soon. Give me my tapioca. You would eat tapioca instead of pudding in freak show.
SPEAKER_02It's honestly not bad. Doesn't it taste like caramel?
SPEAKER_05I don't know. I just like the lunch.
SPEAKER_02Oh, really? I've never. I'm thinking butterscotch. Forget me.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah. I like butterscotch. Boy, misses butterscotch candies.
SPEAKER_05Just making yourself older. Next thing candy wrapped up in the strawberry wrapper that he likes to do it. I'm so old.
SPEAKER_02I had one recently. It might have been 72 years old, but I had one.
SPEAKER_07Was that at Disney? You were at Disney and some old man lured you into his van.
SPEAKER_02Right, right. That's how I got the inn. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06What? Why is why is the perv goofy?
SPEAKER_02And also, why do you have such a good goofy impression?
SPEAKER_06That was excellent. I loved it. Hello, little girl. You try it, Janna.
SPEAKER_08Ooh, boo guru.
SPEAKER_07I love it. I love your worst impressions. If you haven't seen it yet, you can see Jana's worst impressions on the Roku channel already.
SPEAKER_02My dad recently said to me after we posted that first video that I should do um The Wicked Witch of the West.
SPEAKER_07Don't give it away now. Save it. I need a new episode.
SPEAKER_02Cut that out. Cut that out. No, no, it's timely, and I think that I should do another one because next week I'm going to Vegas to see Wizard of Oz at the sphere. And so I feel like I'm going to need to do some solid impressions. Maybe I'll do an Elvis one. I'll send you them all and I'll send them from the strip and maybe I'll even include Mama Cap in it. That would be a wonderful one.
SPEAKER_07That would be wonderful. Now tell me about the sphere, because uh me and my girlfriend want to do that too. So are you going just for that to go see Wiz uh at the sphere?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So my my parents are big Vegas people. Um they my dad does poker tournaments the whole nine. He goes like multiple times a year, but as soon as I got divorced, they were like, We love you so much. We're gonna buy you a trip to Vegas for your birthday.
SPEAKER_07At least somebody does.
SPEAKER_02The hell did I miss to take you to Wizard of Oz at the sphere. So we're actually going specifically to see it. You're going to the Wizard of Oz, the Sphere? Yeah. I was saying that's what we want to do. Yeah. And uh and so I haven't been to Vegas. Uh I'll be honest. Well, I went to Vegas with my ex-husband, but before that, the only other times I went was when I was 21, both times with my dad. Um, and we have such a great time there, and obviously it's Vegas. There's so much to do, food-wise, activity-wise, um, and a little bit of gambling thrown in there. But I think that this being the um star of the show is going to be just tremendous because I've been a huge Wizard of Oz fan since I was a baby. I was in the play growing up. I played Dorothy, I got super into Wicked, you know, obviously when the Broadway play came out and then the movies. Um it holds a super, super special place in my heart.
SPEAKER_07Now I heard that flights to Vegas are sometimes cheaper than anywhere else because they're trying to get you there to gamble. Is that true?
SPEAKER_02Uh I would say that's pretty accurate because the first time I flew to Vegas was uh 13 years ago, and I remember the flight being about like $250, $300, and I don't think that it's really changed from that. Meanwhile, if I'm trying to fly to you in Florida, it can easily be a $700 flight. So uh it's pretty incredible.
SPEAKER_07Are you hearing voices?
SPEAKER_02Hey get him out of here.
SPEAKER_07Is that you, Win?
SPEAKER_02Security.
SPEAKER_05I am the great and powerful Oz. Give me your tickets to the sphere.
SPEAKER_02The Oz is a fraud.
SPEAKER_05Well, it always has been.
SPEAKER_02The wizard, the wizard. It really and and see this, if anyone hasn't seen Wicked, uh, as an adult, I don't think kids will ever understand. But just learning the backstory about these characters and learning the um the theme, like the themes about like what a flying monkey is, and like it actually is stemmed from narcissism.
SPEAKER_07It blew my mind. Wicked blew my mind. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02There's so many like real life lessons in there, and it's all about like being true to yourself and uh God, it's just so beautiful. I I could go on and on about Wizard of Oz. Um, please don't forever. I won't, but I can't.
SPEAKER_07So how long is it playing at the sphere? How long do I have to either make this happen or not?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I d I don't know honestly, because I had a friend who lives in um Altoona actually who went a few months ago, and I think they just have like staggered dates. Um but there's always something playing at the sphere. Like my brother has seen fish there, my parents saw the eagles there, um, and there's always new events and concerts coming. Um, but looking it up just off the top of my hand, it is showing that uh it's still active in 2026 and all the way down, we are going till at least August.
SPEAKER_07Okay. I gotta get on it because I want to get out there and do that too.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's it's gonna be amazing, and uh I'm I'm super pumped for it.
SPEAKER_07I don't want to miss the Wizard of Oz and accidentally see like Ace Ventura at the spear.
SPEAKER_02That would probably be a little bit of a downfall. Um and the only time I've ever been to like a sphere-like thing was in high or no, in elementary school, I think. We used to go to the planetarium, and that was so cool, I remember. So like to see this, I feel like is going to be so trippy and awesome, and it really takes away from the fact that as a 30, almost 34-year-old woman, I'm going to Vegas with just my parents.
SPEAKER_05Also, like to say, I don't appreciate Jagger taking off my webcam and replacing it with a picture of E.T. I think it's inappropriate and uh disrespectful to me.
SPEAKER_07Well, I mean, you just gotta phone home sometimes.
SPEAKER_05Well, we're gonna phone home right now because I'm gonna say goodbye and I love all of you. Thank you for gathering again. I can't believe like I like we said, we were off for a week, it felt like five years. So yeah. It's good to be with you. I'm I'm sorry that my computer's acting like the grocery store horse that used to exist where you put a quarter in and it works for three minutes and then stops.
SPEAKER_02Oh, there's gotta be one still out there.
