Live from the Holiday Bulls and Spa studios, presented by Pizza Knight Altoona. This is Jojo on the go.
SPEAKER_02No, the podcast is not canceled. What the hell's going on with the comments on the uh Jojo on the go discussion group on Facebook?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I don't even know you anymore.
SPEAKER_02Who the hell are you?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_02No. We have been doing some adjusting. Very busy, as you can tell. The studio's getting ripped up. We have a new studio sponsor coming on board. Uh that's exciting. It is. Obviously, Jan has visited seven countries since the last time we all met.
SPEAKER_04Headed to one more next week, so see you never.
SPEAKER_01Seven countries and zero you.
SPEAKER_02So uh the podcast is is alive and well. It didn't switch to iHeart and go away from Facebook, like someone else said. It's available on iHeart. Yes. But if you subscribe on Facebook, you get the premium package, right, Jag?
SPEAKER_01That's right. You get everything a day early, you get exclusive content, you get access to us on a regular basis. Um so much more to be a subscriber.
SPEAKER_02So it didn't go away. It just got a little bit hectic. Um and we're here and we're back, and the show is going on, whether you like it or not. Some of you had a busy day today because uh I decided to have some quality father-son time with the son who's still trapped at home with me because he can't escape. Right. Um so we're going to a local baseball game today, and it's like uh what is it, Splash Wednesday or something. So they literally get like fire hoses out and shoot you in the face with them. Is what I imagine is going to happen. Oh gosh.
SPEAKER_04I uh it's gonna be a single water balloon. A little plastic one of those dollar store score guns.
SPEAKER_01Hopefully they don't pull the hoses on you. That's not a good mascot distance.
SPEAKER_04That's what I'm saying. It's gonna be one of those little like clown guns.
SPEAKER_02So and and uh apparently you have to you had to pick like two sections because they're only doing the blast the face and certain because some people don't enjoy that experience. But we know Jana would pick that section.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02You know, that's the section. So well, I'm doing that with my son today, and I'm sure it'll be a good time.
SPEAKER_04Wait, I'm confused though. Um, because correct me if I'm wrong, it's a weekday, and uh I thought you had a job.
SPEAKER_02I did, I quit.
SPEAKER_04Oh. What? Well, this is why we haven't had a we haven't talked in so long. Wait, what?
SPEAKER_02What? Wait, wait, wait. I quit.
SPEAKER_04How are you in any position to just quit your job?
SPEAKER_02Like I have a business that was actually like starting to fail because I was bringing in all this revenue for another company and I wasn't paying any attention at all to my business. And I was I listen, the company I work for, absolutely amazing. I'm talking about the most recent one, obviously. Uh yeah. Um, I have absolutely no qualms or issues with how the Red Cross runs their organization. I mean, from from A to Z, they got it all covered. Uh, as a matter of fact, when I, you know, um just came to them and said, I I don't have time for this. I'm so sorry. They were like, We totally understand. We'll mark you down as rehired. You're welcome to come back whenever you want.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_02Me?
SPEAKER_04This is just JoJo's world and we're all just living in it.
SPEAKER_02That's right. I hope so. That's me to me it is.
SPEAKER_01I'm a little concerned though. This is a startup company that may fail without you.
SPEAKER_02You know, it's bad enough. I can't sleep at night. And I think about that. Right. I do have another plan for a job job because apparently owning your own business isn't considered by some people to be an actual job, although us business owners I think we disagree.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um I have a plan. Okay. But I will tell you, after I resigned and was waiting for my wife to come home that day, I was terrified.
SPEAKER_04Wait, you didn't even you didn't have a discussion.
SPEAKER_02No discussion. I'm so confused about your this was typical Jojo split decision. This is what we're doing. We're doing it now.
SPEAKER_04There's no miscommunication because there's no communication, which me and Jagger can relate to with you. Yeah, no, nothing's good.
SPEAKER_02By the way, this is our last podcast. I'm just letting you know now. I quit again. No, but for real, it's like I'm wiping my whole slate clean.
SPEAKER_04We'll wake up at like 4 a.m. and we pop on here, and it's just me and him, and we're twiddling thumbs and like shooting the shit, and all of a sudden we get a message from you, and you're like, back to bed.
SPEAKER_02Hope you guys are sleeping well. We're not. We're not. So, no, I did not tell her, and I that's not something I would normally do. It's just I did it. And she came home, and when I told her, she thought I was joking. She laughed. When's your breakover? I was like, no, no, I'm I'm not going down there today. Um there is no break. I'm I'm permanent break. Permanent break. And and I told her I couldn't look at her when I so I'm like, I just want you to know that I resigned. But I'm looking at like the ground. She's like, Well, how come you can't? You're not, you're lying. You cannot even look at me. Yeah, you're not, come on. It took like 30 minutes to convince her I made this.
SPEAKER_04She's been with you 20 plus years. She doesn't know by now you know no such thing as eye contact. Come on. First of all, I bet her real thought was this Mo got fired. Like, you know?
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. No, I know that listen, you can call him for a reference that says re-would rehire. Good for me. Um she listen, she needed several medical procedures done that that without health insurance would have been impossible. And thanks to the Red Cross, she was able to get those procedures done. And um I just had to make a decision. What was I going to focus on? So I decided to focus on the business. And uh, you guys are a part of the business. Thank you. Thank you very much. You, the audience, I decided deserves my undivided attention. Oh, I will.
SPEAKER_04Forget us.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, not us. The audience doesn't care about them. I'm here for the audience.
SPEAKER_04I'm used to that.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah? Let's talk about Jana's visit to central Pennsylvania.
SPEAKER_04Okay, let's talk. You know what? My light's going on for this. I I'm ready to throw down on this for real.
SPEAKER_01That head started shaking, net snapping.
SPEAKER_02So I guess where we last left off on the podcast, we heard Janna's coming to central Pennsylvania. Yeah, right. I was I was under the assumption that it would be like Janna attached to my hip for three days straight, and I didn't realize she has real friends and was gonna spend time with them. So I start getting messages not through our group chats, directly from Janna's personal number, which is a big deal to get a message from that.
SPEAKER_04You're right. You know what? You're right. You're right, it is. Continue.
SPEAKER_02Uh my friends and I we don't know what time we'll be bat from the yacht. Um and I'm not, I don't know. So I'll call you when we get back.
SPEAKER_04Are we cursing? Are we cursing?
SPEAKER_02You're allowed to. Apparently, I can't.
SPEAKER_04Okay. That, first of all, I let's rewind, okay?
SPEAKER_02No, I started the story where it makes me look good. I know. I don't want to go back to the city.
SPEAKER_04Let's rewind where he's known for months that I was coming to Central Pennsylvania, and I said, Hey, here's the weekend I'm here. You know, we really don't have a ton of plans, but blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So then as we get closer, I'm like, all right, cool. So Saturday, like, you want to get together? Like, what's your plan? And he goes, Here's the time. Here's the time I'm at my event. You can meet me here. So I'm like, okay, so now this is a Jana just show up to uh to your your work event.
SPEAKER_01Okay, make me look good for the entire time. I don't think you understood. Right, the entire time to correct.
SPEAKER_04So I'm like, okay, so doesn't want to hang out, wants me to come to his job, fine, whatever. Then that turns into, okay, actually, I do have plans on Saturday. Not sure if I'm gonna make it between that time. Do you want to like do something Friday? You want to meet up, uh, like get a drink or something? And he goes, Yeah, come to my house again for his convenience. Sure, no problem. Then get a text a few hours later. Actually, I have a meeting at 4 30. Do you want to meet at this place at 5 30? And so I'm like, once again, convenient for him, but sure. I'm I'm I'm here for the ride. Whatever, fine. Then he can't actually don't know when this guy is meeting. Can't do it. Fine. So I'm like, I've made multiple attempts now at this point. I'm like, he has to throw the line at me. So then all of a sudden, I'm at the boat until 10 p.m. And he goes, You never called me. I'm like, it's 10 p.m. Like I wasn't making it. So then the next morning he sees that I posted that I was at Cracker Barrel.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that was it. That was it for me. Because Cracker Barrel is like across the street from my house. How dare you go to Cracker Barrel?
SPEAKER_01She could have thrown a country fried steak across the street.
SPEAKER_04I did.
SPEAKER_02And I was even thinking, like, hey, maybe we can do a Sunday breakfast. Did I tell her that? No. Would you have any way of knowing? Communication. Exactly. I was thinking it, but then when I saw that you did it, I was like, how dare you? He got jealous.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Do something that I didn't say anything to. So then I texted him because we're about to leave, and my friend's like, listen, this is not you to be able to do it.
SPEAKER_02This little bitch is gonna cry if you don't visit him.
SPEAKER_04Yes, but also he's you're like, they were like, This is not you to leave a place and not see somebody that you care about. Like, why don't you just like throw the olive branch one more time? So I said, cool. So I said, Hey, uh, we're leaving in a little bit. We just ate. Like, do you want to go meet up somewhere, hang out? And he just sends me his address. Just sends me his address. And I was just, and his response then was, yeah, okay, we'll take pictures and video for the podcast.
SPEAKER_02We'll get some content, send you on your way.
SPEAKER_04I'm like, this is our friendship. This is clearly all on Worth. So we're gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_02So she shows up and yeah, and uh it was like no time pass, which was great. Um it was it like you were frozen in time. Uh it doesn't seem like you've aged at all or anything. It was Oh, and I've had a baby.
SPEAKER_04Thank you. I will take that as a compliment. Oh, he meant for the best shape of my life, I think.
SPEAKER_02Want to see my abs? Maybe. You're one. You look first. I'm just kidding. So uh I believe we're putting up the photo here. Here's proof that Janna and I uh actually did meet up uh over the past weekend hanging out in front of my garden.
SPEAKER_04I have a massive rash to show you.
unknownI'm just kidding.
SPEAKER_02And I'll I'll give you this you at least acted uh i uh interested, even though you probably weren't in the garden that I was giving the tour.
SPEAKER_04What?
SPEAKER_02No, I I wouldn't blame you. Like I'd be bored. I don't know if you're gonna be able to get it.
SPEAKER_04Okay, first of all, if anybody knows, you know, when I was friends with Jojo and when I lived in Pennsylvania, like he lived in a very different home that he lives in now. In fact, he is a homeowner now. He did not own a home back when I lived there. Obviously, neither did I because I was 23 years old. But I was so like I was so taken aback by his home and what they've done for it. Also just like the reminiscence because there's just so much familiarity, right? Like I walk in and I'm like, I'm seeing the purple everywhere, and all of a sudden it's bringing me back because I know that's Boopy's favorite color. You know, all the things. And so I jet when I care about something, like I don't know if people understand. Like, I truly say what I mean and mean what I say. Like, is that not apparent? Like, am I not embarrassing enough that you're like, this person's actually real?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, I was it was great to see, and I'm and she was very complimentary of the home. Um, and and that meant a lot because uh not only have we worked hard to uh uh attain this house, well, my wife's working hard to keep it. Yeah, right. You quit. Yeah, but uh yeah, I quit. But my wife is that roof costs as much as some houses. And uh boy, sucks to be her making that payment. So prayers for boopy on that one.
SPEAKER_01That's why she needs all that that medical attention is carrying you on her back for all these years. Absolutely. No, I would crumble.
SPEAKER_02You know, I get mad because I make dinner all the time, but then I realize she does everything else. So everything. You know, I might as well fry up a burger for her once in a while, I guess. So while Jenna and I were having quality time together, Jagger down in the panhandle of Florida, if you're new to the show, uh three of us are in all different places. I'm in Central PA, Jenna's in Long Island, Jagger's in the panhandle. Where he sent us a picture that it was a hundred yesterday. Yes. I don't know what it is right now, but which is that hot?
SPEAKER_04Like I thought that was like normal for this time of year for you guys.
SPEAKER_01No, it's hot. What's so special about a hundred?
SPEAKER_04You're right, a hundred's still hot.
unknownIt doesn't matter where it is.
SPEAKER_01Whether it's normal or not, it's hot. It's human hot. Yeah, it feels like 116.
SPEAKER_02Uh Jazza, I guess uh his girlfriend was having some friends over the house and told him he had to go live in the shed. Is that what happened?
SPEAKER_01No, not quite that. So uh every couple of years, she and she and her middle school friends have stayed connected. They go on a girls' trip as adults every two years.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I thought she was friends with middle schoolers.
SPEAKER_01Well, there's that's a different trip. We'll talk about that one another time. But for this one, uh she just recently had shoulder surgery herself and could not travel, and it was the time of year uh on the every other year that they were about to go somewhere, and she was about to be left out. I said, Well, why don't you just invite them here? We live in the Panhandle of Florida. People vacation here all the time. This is a tourist destination. You got Destin in one direction, Pensacola in the other. And so she thought that was a good idea. She's like, but uh, you know, where are they gonna stay? I said, Well, they'll stay here. I will leave. I volunteer to leave. I said, I'll give you the house. It's like you're renting an Airbnb, except for it's your it's your house, and so you guys can have it for the weekend. And lucky for me, I have uh uh a friend who has a bungalow that she rents out in Fort Walton Beach, which is near me. Shed. No, it's nice. It's I don't know what a bungalow is.
SPEAKER_02I'm picturing like Gilligan's Island's Hut.
SPEAKER_04That's what you used to live in, yeah.
SPEAKER_02What I used to live in. I live between sections seven and nine, Jannah. You know exactly where I used to live in. Right.
SPEAKER_01Yes, I do. So I don't know why she calls it a bungalow. I think that's a fancy name for like a studio apartment, maybe. Okay. Yeah, so it's like a it's a really nice hotel. There's not a straw roof. There wasn't when I got there, but the time I left.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Because I don't know about anyone else. When I when I hear bungalow, it's uh I'm I'm seeing the Gilligan's Island Hut. It's uh so I'm I guess I'm just seeing it wrong. Yeah, I thought it was way cooler.
SPEAKER_01I guess I don't know what a bungalow is either.
SPEAKER_02That's just what she called it. Yeah, I don't think you're calling it the right thing. I think it's an apartment.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, maybe because I also picture like a bungalow. I know some people they rent like it's a cabana. Like that's what I picture a bungalow.
SPEAKER_02See, Janna's got the money. Ask her what a bungalow is.
SPEAKER_04Oh, picture a cabana.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So out in the Hamptons, a bungalow. Did you have a cabana boy? Tiger. There was somebody chained up. I don't know what their primary function was. It was a fun weekend, though. At my own little staycation.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. What'd you do? Stare at a water.
SPEAKER_01I I went kayaking.
SPEAKER_02Uh what?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I went Just alligators in that water. What are you doing? There wasn't insane?
SPEAKER_01It was out in the sound. There was no alligators out there that I saw. Uh oh, they cross over. Don't you worry about them. I went and saw Ghostbusters at this little boutique theater. Um it's been out for 50 years.
SPEAKER_02You're just going to see it now?
SPEAKER_01Right. Well, I've seen it before on VHS. This was the first time that I was able to see it on a big screen because when it came out, I was a poor child and couldn't afford to go to the theater.
SPEAKER_04So you did it all by yourself, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Right. And it's only 99 cents because it's 50 years old. It was five dollars. Five dollars to get paid. It's like a full a movie ticket price to see a movie from the eight.
SPEAKER_01That's not a movie ticket price anymore. When's the last time you've been to the 20 bucks?
SPEAKER_02The 80s. Yeah, exactly. We have a theater here with like 12 cinemas, and one of them is Jana knows because she and I were at the Grand Open VIP invitation with the city.
SPEAKER_04That was a you know, it's so funny you've mentioned that because since I was in PA this weekend, um me and my friend were talking about that night because she came with us, and that ended up being a extremely late night where I was at the Knickerbacher until like two two AM because we were hurt in the next day. We went to the Nick um the other night for dinner, and I was just like, I'm like, I've been here a couple times. One you're either there until 2 a.m. or you're there for like a date or like with a group of friends. And I was there once on a date, and I was there once until 2 a.m. And uh I love the Nick.
SPEAKER_02I forgot what I was saying now. Movie theater price. Thanks to the Knickerbocker. Oh yeah. So um one of the theaters is called the Big D. Oh. And that's what Janna said when she heard about that.
SPEAKER_04Quite literally.
SPEAKER_02So she immediately ran to that one.
SPEAKER_04I ran nude.
SPEAKER_02It's like the VIP 6,000 speakers. You see this the racks of equipment in there and there's a lot of people.
SPEAKER_04No, genuinely one of the first theaters, because obviously I'm in New York and a lot of things come here first. We're kind of like Japan in in terms of versus America. But I don't remember at the time there have been there weren't bars in movie theaters at the time, and there weren't reclinable seats that were heated, and the D had that. And I remember it was just like when you I I mean, do you guys remember old school movie theaters? So, like these spoiled? No, but I'm saying these spoiled ass kids now, they just assume that that's the reality. But I'm like, the first time you went in there, like I will never forget that memory.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know, it was very odd to walk into a theater and you look over and it says like McStuffin's pub.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, quite literally, full bar, full menu. Like they deliver the food to you. Like now you see that everywhere, but at the time, I mean, we're we're talking 11 years ago.
SPEAKER_02Unprecedented, as the media likes to say. That was crazy. Yeah, and they they were serving up the uh the beer with uh the blue moon with the orange slices in it. I mean, it was uh classic. Very classy.
SPEAKER_04We were we were in a full-on liquor phase at that point, though.
SPEAKER_02Full on. Uh good for you, Jagger, on your um going to see Ghostbusters at the movie theater for the first time. Let's have about a round of applause for yourself. It was so much fun.
SPEAKER_04No, but as you've talked about, you're trying to really enjoy like doing things with yourself, not holding yourself up just because other people aren't there to do it with you. I respect the shit out of that because I really got to embrace that more. I sit in this house all day, every day.
SPEAKER_02Lucky. Get out, Queen. So speaking of doing things by yourself, um, when I was visiting my son in Erie uh two times ago, I decided I wanted to go fishing for some reason with my son. You know, make up for all the things I never did with my with my kids. So even though he's in his 20s now. So I go to like Walmart and I get the pocket fisherman, it's like this, but then I guess like this, like, you know, me. And then I bought the fishing license.
SPEAKER_04You ain't no shower, you ain't no grower.
SPEAKER_02I don't show nor tell. Uh I got the rods, I got the bait, I got the fishing license, I got the special, like eerie extra fishing license. And I go up to the counter ready to drop like $45. And they're like, that's $318. I was like, Oh, wow. I could go to a nice restaurant and get the most expensive fish on the menu without going through all this work. But anyway, I was proud of myself. We went fishing, and on my first cast, I caught a largemouth bass. Like I haven't been fishing. I know, right? I haven't been fishing in years. So I reel it in and I try to get the hook out, and I scream because I'm a girl. Obviously. And I accidentally get the hook stuck in the fish's eye. Oh no.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so you caused it a painful, slow, torturous death.
SPEAKER_02No, I said, here, son, can you get this hook out of his eye? And he did, and put the fish back in the water. And I'm sure he gained even more respect for me on that special.
SPEAKER_04All right. So fishing room's down.
SPEAKER_02Let's pick up. I spent a good chunk of money on the phone.
SPEAKER_04By the way, why do we have a left track? What is happening?
SPEAKER_02Uh the Jeffersons now, Jen. I don't know. You didn't get the men the memo. We were in the middle.
SPEAKER_04No, I didn't get the miscommunication, the no communication.
SPEAKER_02I didn't get sitcom now. People have to be told when we're funny. So I get home with all this fishing equipment and it disappears, and I've realized that my my son, can they at least laugh at the right time? So my son, I was like, Where's all the fishing stuff? And he's like, Oh, it's in my room, Popo. And he comes out. And there it all is, and he puts it on the dining room chair. And there it sits for about two weeks. And every day I walk by and I say, uh, you know what? I go fishing tomorrow. And every day I walk by and got a corona instead. And this morning I wake up to a text from my wife. Can we please find a better home for the tackle box than the dining room table? Agreed. Oh, was that the red colour? So I walked it five feet to the garage.
SPEAKER_04Was that the red thing that was sitting on your dining room chair the other day? Yeah, I noticed that. And I was like, I was like, is that an old tool case? And I'm like, this motherfucker just doesn't have tools.
SPEAKER_02No, no, I ain't got no tools. My wife has a pink tool bag. Not the tool not me. She has another tool bag.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna say, you're more beige than pink.
SPEAKER_02So there's a special story behind that uh tackle box that couldn't be seen in the dining room. And many years ago, when my kids were forced to make me a gift for Father's Day, because we lived between sections seven and nine, um, they got the idea of taking an old tackle box or taking an old toolbox and turning it into a tackle box.
SPEAKER_04That's very thoughtful though.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So it sat there for 10 to 12 years without being used.
SPEAKER_01Something you didn't use already and turned into something you're not going to use. Correct.
SPEAKER_02So now here I am, I got a fishing license, I got all the stuff I need, I got uh a a lake ten minutes less for me, and and I'm not I I I don't know what's wrong. Why can't I just go Fishing. Jagger went to see Ghostbusters. Yeah. Why can't you go fishing?
SPEAKER_04I don't know. Look at all the things you're talking you're talking about doing all these things. He's actually doing it. And also, for the record, I was in two lakes in your area this week, and you can't even go to one.
SPEAKER_02Listen, my hot tub is not a lake.
SPEAKER_04Three. You're right. No, I went hiking. I went hiking at Canoe Creek, too.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's exactly where I was I'm supposed to be going fishing if I go fishing.
SPEAKER_01You sure did a whole lot without visiting JoJo.
SPEAKER_02That's it seems like she had a pretty quality. Actually, it seems like she had a good time, so I really can't blame her. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I went tubing when we were uh when we were on um in Raystown. I went tubing. I haven't done that since I was a kid. I flipped so high out of that shit. Oh my god, I got rug burned. I don't think you could see it now, but I had really bad legs.
SPEAKER_02First time you got it that way.
SPEAKER_04Exactly. It wasn't on my knees.
SPEAKER_02Oh, the audience doesn't laugh at that one.
SPEAKER_01I'm guessing that the boat must have been the boat must have been really small that you couldn't fit one more person on it. That's weird.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's yeah, it was a it was a small, small houseboat.
SPEAKER_02Do you ever recall her saying she was going on a boat in the weeks leading up to her talking about her visit your name?
SPEAKER_01No, it was my understanding that she was going to be a roadhouse for the It was a last-minute plan that replaced me.
SPEAKER_02Right. That was the plan. It's called a better offer.
SPEAKER_04You know what? Yeah, you know what? If if next time you would like me to work, you can send me a contract to my attorneys.
SPEAKER_01Ooh, Miss Contract.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I'll do it for $9.99, but that's not the point.
SPEAKER_02$9.99? That's your OnlyFans price. It's ridiculous. All right. So we talked about Jagger's Bungalow and Jenna's adventure in Central PA, uh, the big D. If you're joining us halfway through the podcast, that's weird because you can start it at the beginning, but you don't know what the big D is about.
SPEAKER_04Actually, you know, one of my friends just like started listening to our podcast and they started from our latest episode and they're going backwards.
SPEAKER_02That's one way to do it. Janna reached out to us and she said, Um, when are we restarting the podcast? Uh, not asking because I care, I'm asking because my mom won't stop bothering me. Right.
SPEAKER_04No, because a lot of times when we don't record and it's a and it's a uh a launch date, I'll post on my story on Instagram, like, hey, no episode today, like Jojo's sick or whatever. Yeah, I'm trying to do it. And then all of a sudden I'm like, hey, should we like tell people these things? And you're like, nah. And so then I got Mama Cap and she she literally said to me the other day, uh, no episode question mark. And I'm like, I'm like, don't ask, don't ask, I don't know. So then I said to her yesterday, I said, Oh, don't worry, we're recording on Wednesday. So I get a text at 7 30 this morning, where's the episode? And I'm like, Wow, I'm like, it's chill.
SPEAKER_02If we even wanted to stop doing this podcast, we're not allowed. We can't cancel it.
SPEAKER_04We got number one fans everywhere, and really they're just mama cap and boopy.
SPEAKER_02Yes, like that's we're I will say though, I will say though.
SPEAKER_04So my my really good friend Michelle, who you know and who I went to go visit, uh in San Francisco.
SPEAKER_02Who I also didn't get to meet this weekend. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um see, you you've met her, but um so uh she also like she texted me recently and she was like, Hey, I had a really rough day today, and I just want to let you guys know I put on the show, and it was the episode where we were talking about like grocery lists and all that jazz or whatever. Uh I was like, Oh, clearly, I don't remember the content, whatever we said. Right. But she was like she's like, I was laughing so hard, it made my day, and like that made me feel really good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So believe me, I you know what? It's great to see, hey, what happened to the podcast? Or a bunch of comments that care that it's not there. I mean, if there weren't comments like that, I'd be concerned.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but eventually, if they keep asking and we're not uh giving, then we're here, we're back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we're here. And here's another take on it, though. If you're complaining that there's not a new episode, but you haven't watched the all 63 of the other ones, they agree. Yeah, you've got stuff to do. You've got homework.
SPEAKER_03We've got stuff to do.
SPEAKER_02That was another thing in our defense. We see the download numbers on this podcast, iHeart, Buzz, Sprout, Spotify, every platform Apple that it's on, we get all the download numbers, and we were watching, we weren't making new episodes, but the download numbers were just shooting up, up, up, up. And I'm like, listen, people are catching up. Why not just let them catch up?
SPEAKER_04I mean, and I do respect it because I same thing now with like Netflix or whatever, is like I don't always want to watch or listen to like just one episode. I usually want to batch it. So like they they've been listening to a lot, and now they'll have you know more and more. And so like I I kind of get that aspect. I just think again, here's the bottom line. I'm a woman here. You need the token woman to give you this answer. Communicate.
SPEAKER_02I thought Jagger is the only one allowed to call you a token woman.
SPEAKER_04That's a full sentence. Communicate.
SPEAKER_02It is. I'm genuinely, is it?
SPEAKER_04That went in one ear and out the other.
SPEAKER_02At a 0.5 grade point average by the time.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, you should not tell people that.
SPEAKER_01That was girl math. She pulled on your mind. It's not a full sentence.
SPEAKER_04It's not girl math. I'm always doing mom math. I have to like work things in reverse.
SPEAKER_02So, and I can relate to this too. If if I'm watching a show like let's say Chicago Met or something like that, if I miss a couple of episodes and I get like four behind, I'm out. Like I'll have watched that, I watched that show for years, but I got like four episodes behind, and now I won't go back to it because I don't feel like catching up. So it was kind of like we what did we plug the damn and and we didn't put out new episodes so everyone could take the ones we already did in. That's all. That's our excuse, and we're sticking with it.
SPEAKER_01There's some good ones out there.
SPEAKER_03There's some good ones out there.
SPEAKER_01I think you should go watch episode number 31, The Cast Gets Supreme with Mary Ann from Brooklyn. That's a great one.
SPEAKER_02Now, if you're on iHeart, you're hearing him say watch, and you're like, How the hell am I supposed to watch this or listen to become a Facebook subscriber? You go to Facebook and look up JoJo on the go. It's 99 cents a month for you to get the episodes for free and see the episodes and the content that's in them and get the bonus content. So when he says watch, we're focusing on our subscribers, our our our true, true loyal fans.
SPEAKER_01And you do want to see the Marianne episode. That's worth the 99 cents alone to see her.
SPEAKER_02Especially when she told Janet she's not from New York. Yeah, I know.
SPEAKER_04That's great. That was so offensive.
SPEAKER_02Um You're not a New Yorker. What other episodes come to mind? Uh not the one with Corey Fellman because we never did that one.
SPEAKER_04You know, I always think of one of our first episodes, I don't know what number it was, but when we talked about Dahmer and we all just kept throwing the one-liners out about it, like that to me just cracks me up. We we threw a promo out there for that, so you could probably find that on our socials somewhere. Um, but that shit was so funny.
SPEAKER_02And then for those of you still hearing crazy rumors about why I left radio, start with episode one because it tells the entire story.
SPEAKER_04And then we don't need to hear it again.
SPEAKER_02It's the most popular episode right now. And Janice right, you don't need to hear it again. And honestly, I've it's so traumatic. I blocked most of it out and couldn't tell you anyway, if you ask me. Um it's it's it's distant memory, but people still are coming up with stories as to what happened to the show. And so just listen. Hear it from the horse's mouth. I'm the horse. We got that episode one, Jojo on the go. All right, so you had this road trip. How long is it for you to get from your home in Long Island to the metropolis of Altoona, Pennsylvania?
SPEAKER_04Six hours.
SPEAKER_02Six?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Damn, I can get to Canada in six hours.
SPEAKER_04No, I know. Listen, and my friend was like, Pennsylvania's big.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, yeah, I know. It's like when you go to Florida and you're like, oh yeah, we're in Florida, and you have another six hours.
SPEAKER_04No, and that's the truth, is because even no traffic, I just hit the Delaware water gap where Pennsylvania begins. I got another three hours to go. So it's it's it's central, you know, central PA. I didn't know if you know this, but it's central.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's in the middle.
SPEAKER_04It is right in the middle. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Some affectionately refer to it as Pennsylvania.
SPEAKER_04But that's that's you. You do.
SPEAKER_02You do. Um, so six hours, that's a legit road trip. You can go to a lot of different places in six hours.
SPEAKER_04No, because I feel like anything that's like a day trip is like three or under, right? Like because I have another friend in Pennsylvania, but she lives closer to Philly. That's a three-hour trip. I have no problem doing that, coming home, whatever. It's all good. This is like you gotta invest the weekend, you know?
SPEAKER_02So what do you bring on road trips? Is there do you pack an igloo cooler with boo booze or sandwiches?
SPEAKER_04Uh so yeah, I need I need a nice water uh with ice that's gonna hold me over. Uh big big ice coffee, prepare for the stops, of course. Uh variety of snacks. So like this Slim Jims?
SPEAKER_02Uh by the James.
SPEAKER_04Maybe a beef stick, but definitely not a slim gym. Like chips. Uh I like to bring I like to bring fresh fruit. I love bringing fruit on a road trip. Um usually you'll stop for like a bagel before you go. Like that's a very long island thing to do. Um and I care more about like what I'm listening to, you know. Um, I'm a big podcaster in the car, so I love like cranking out podcasts. Like, I want to hear music too, and I get into a jam and I like to have like good conversation. But um, for the most part, like I'm I'm listening to podcasts all the time.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, if you're going on a road trip, this isn't essential. This podcast you can enjoy through your car through the city.
SPEAKER_04I was able to listen to 12 episodes of our show.
SPEAKER_02Really?
SPEAKER_04Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02For the first time. You listen to it for the whole trend.
SPEAKER_04Yep.
SPEAKER_02Wow. Janna's just getting gold stars left and right today, as far as I'm concerned.
SPEAKER_01She's lying. Look at her face. If you're on Facebook, look at her face. That is her lying face. Everything gets cleaned.
SPEAKER_04When I really am trying to not make a reaction, that's if you're on iHeart right now, it looks like she sucked a lemon. I suck something down there.
SPEAKER_01She looks like Renee Zellwigger and Jerry Maguire.
SPEAKER_02They say you can tell somebody is uh lying if they look to the right when they're giving an answer, but for Janet, it's just if she's looking in any direction.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_02So what about you, Jagger? If you're going on a road trip, do you pack anything? Fast clothes, hopefully.
SPEAKER_01I like to not pack. I like to stop and get things. Yeah. I love to stop at convenience stores and get gas and and kind of enjoy that thing. My girlfriend, on the other hand, she's a big packer. She loves to get the cooler, she wants snacks from home, she wants pre-made sandwiches. She does when we stop for gas, you got gas and a pea break, and that's it. Let's go. I mean, I'm the same way.
SPEAKER_04I I don't want to, I'm not here to waste more time, you know? Like uh, no.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, I I get gassed up. We get in the car, it's filled to the brim because my wife packs the entire house no matter how many days we're going away for. And only she can pack the car. Like, if I do it, I can get two suitcases in it and I'm like, it's full. She can get 15 into a civic. She got Tetris arms. She's it. Um, but I just want to get there. I will from time to time, you know, go to the uh Roy Rogers on the side of the turnpike if I'm in the mood for some upscale dining. Um but usually the the part for me I get mad at is the trip's over and we're going home.
SPEAKER_04That's a hard part.
SPEAKER_02And about an hour from home, she'll say, Do we need to go to the store? And I just go to level 10. I don't want to go to, I don't care if we don't eat dinner tonight. Right. I do not want to go, I want to go home. Yeah. I just want to go. But on the way to, I'm happy to go to Roy Rogers or Duncan or uh Baskin Robbins, no problem there. But God forbid we pick up a loaf of bread on the way back.
SPEAKER_04No, that's the reality. I think whether you're road tripping, whether you're flying, taking the train, I think the trip there versus travel home, two totally different experiences. Like, not only does it feel longer when you're coming home, even though it could be the exact same. Yeah, you don't want to stop. Like, my dad is infamous for this. Well, he'll he'll say, like, on the way home, oh, should we stop for dinner? Why wouldn't we get home and then get dinner there? Like, I why are we delaying? Let's just go.
SPEAKER_02Let's just end this misery trip home. Absolutely. That's what I'm like. Why get out of the car, go into a store, and then get back in the car? No, forget it.
SPEAKER_01Real life doesn't start again until we get home and walk through that.
SPEAKER_04Well that's the thing. I guess vacation calories still, right? The whole nine. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then you're like, does my house always smell like this?
SPEAKER_01Oh god.
SPEAKER_02It doesn't have to if you have trilunar cleaning. That's right. You don't want your house to smell when you come home from vacation. You should check out Triluna Royal Cleaning. Call them at 814-893.
SPEAKER_04Oops, sorry. I forgot I scheduled a reel and it's of me singing, and it just popped up.
SPEAKER_01That's the new Triluna Jingle.
SPEAKER_04I really thought we had a Triluna jingle ready. Triluna! I'll sing it if they'll pay me.
SPEAKER_02They do pay you.
SPEAKER_04More. I have more. I need more.
SPEAKER_02More. Listen, they do residential, they do commercial, they do cleanups. Like if you own a place and you rent it out to college kids and they trashed it, they can handle that. They do clean outs, they do it all. And they have ridiculously low prices. I tell Dominic every time I see him, like, are you trying to stay in business? These prices are like McDonald's value menu for cleaning full homes. But they do a great job. They are professional. And you can reach them at 814-895-3038. Did I get that right? Thank you. Also, uh, thank you to Pete and I for signing back on board as our presenting sponsor. Let's give it up to Pete and I'd down and make it a pizza night. I don't care for one time.
SPEAKER_04Pizza Knight feel apt in Altuna, Jana. Do you happen to have the specials? Yep, we sure do. So Sicilian Thursday, we can't let that one go because it does not disappoint. Huge pie. Sicilian pies, they're the big like rectangles, right? And they're like almost like a deep dish. Yeah. 20 bucks, you can get unlimited toppings for only $21.99.
SPEAKER_01I love huge pie.
SPEAKER_04I bet you do. And you know what else you love? You love you love their balls. Jagger loves a good garlic parm pepperoni ball.
SPEAKER_01Gotta have those balls.
SPEAKER_04So missing out if you don't do it. They got a $6.99 mix and match deal, so you can try like different ones. You can get them by the dozen. Um, so it doesn't matter. Taco Tuesday, if you want the Sicilian Thursday special, they got everything you need. Go over there, 3329 Beale Avenue, or you can order online through Toast, which is a really cool uh app nowadays.
SPEAKER_01You guys have got some good news.
SPEAKER_04Toast, the Toast app.
SPEAKER_01Got some good news? I got some good news.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you got a Pizza Knight pizza.
SPEAKER_01Pizza Knight is actively working on freezing in the panhandle. Freezing a bully and sending it to me.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I know. They're gonna poison it.
SPEAKER_01Well, how much active work does that take to put a bully in the freezer for the phone? From what it sounds like from my communication, it's it's a it's a NASA experiment that they're working on.
SPEAKER_02Do they have a factory with Oompa Loompas making this whole thing happen?
SPEAKER_01I think so, but um stay tuned. I'm gonna be eating a stromboli from Pizza Night on the air.
SPEAKER_04Oh god, it's gonna be so phallic and gross. Can't wait to see it.
SPEAKER_02I don't know if that's good advertising for them or not. I would like to keep them on. Um Pizza Night, thank you. I want to sincerely, from the bottom of at least my heart, and I think I speak for everyone here, try Luna, Royal Cleaning, and Pizza Night. Thank you for sticking with us. Uh, we need sponsors to keep the podcast going. Shockingly, Jagger and Jana won't just volunteer to do it with me, so they have to at least get a little bit of coin to pay for their internet, if nothing else. Just a couple bucks or at least half of their internet for the month. Yeah, exactly.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02So uh without without our sponsors, it's also uh not a free experience for thousands of you who are too cheap to give us 99 cents a month on the Facebook JoJo on the go uh page, which you are welcome to do. We'd love to have you join us. Uh and I did get word from some subscribers who asked me why I threw them out of the group and then put them back in. And I have no idea what you're talking about because I would never throw out a paying subscriber from our group. And actually, Dominic from Triluna took it personally. I woke up to like 15 texts. He's like, What are you getting rid of me? Oh my god. I was like, What are you talking about? He said, You threw me out of the subscriber group and then you invited me back. I said, No, I didn't. So I don't know if Facebook is kicking people out, but if you thought you were subscribing to us, make sure you are subscribing to us, is all I'll say. Um What else we got here? We'll save it for the next episode. I've had too much fun for now. I if I reach my fun quota, I've got to slow it down. Can we leave with uh something funny from the internet, perhaps?
SPEAKER_03I love this guy. I love his outfit.
SPEAKER_04I feel like it would fit me.
SPEAKER_02You know what's great?
SPEAKER_01It's true. It's true. Absolutely. He's blowing up all over Instagram, Facebook. If you don't know Joey Bro, go check him out.
SPEAKER_02Joey Bro. Also, I see this guy now, because I've watched one of his videos, so I'm not I'm gonna see every single one he's ever done. Um, it's he has this little microphone, he's like, hey, it's day 35 of me eating at a Chinese buffet until I get food poisoning. Let's go on in. And like he see like the uh the Rangoons are like dried out, and then there's like mushrooms just soaking and floating, and he's like, I don't know about this, but here we go. Like he's literally willing to kill himself making this content, and he's blown up uh tremendously. And he's still alive, thank God. But my question is, how many Chinese buffets are there in this dude's area that he's done like 35 already?
SPEAKER_04And how many have gotten him sick is the question.
SPEAKER_02Yes, like I guess he hasn't, right? Because he said he'd stop once he got sick. My other question is was this his like did he come up with this idea one day, like, hey Han, because I I think it's his girlfriend that films him. I'm gonna quit my job and I'm gonna travel the country and eat at Chinese buffets.
SPEAKER_04No, I'm sure he did exactly what you did. There was zero communication, if I know about it.
SPEAKER_02Sounds familiar.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah. I wouldn't say this was you, but he's obviously making money, so yeah, he's actually successful with his rash decisions.
SPEAKER_02You're JoJo Bro. Jojo Jojo broke. Jojo leaving now. Thanks for listening and watching. Uh Jojo on the Go. We'll be back.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I look so awkward right now doing that. I'm not.
SPEAKER_02That's right. That's Jana. That's Jagger. I'm Jojo. We love you. Goodbye.
SPEAKER_06Jojo on the Go is presented by Pizza Night Altuna.
SPEAKER_03Skip the stove and the dishes and make tonight a pizza night.
