ICYMI — this morning’s 6 AM Call was all about freedom. 🇺🇸

Not just the kind we celebrate on the Fourth of July…
The kind we build.

Because real freedom doesn’t happen by accident.

Financial freedom requires discipline.
Emotional freedom requires honesty.
Physical freedom requires consistency.
Business freedom requires action before you feel ready.

We talked this morning about how the life we want is created in the small daily choices:
The workout.
The phone call.
The hard conversation.
The gratitude.
The decision to keep moving forward even when things feel uncertain.

And maybe most importantly:
You do not have to wait until everything is perfect to feel grateful.

Gratitude is a practice.
And perspective changes everything.

You are not stuck.
You are not behind.
And it is not too late to build a life that feels aligned, peaceful, purposeful, and free.

Happy Fourth of July everybody. ❤️

Hi, good morning, everybody. This is Lee McGinnis and welcome to the 6 a.m. call. It is Friday, July 3rd. And as always, Robin and I are just so thrilled that you join us each morning for a little bit of motivation and encouragement. And it's just a great way to start the day. And I swear it shows true leadership and commitment to living a full life when we can start the day this way together. So thank you for your support. And we're so glad you're here. So happy 4th of July, everybody. You know, every year on this day, we celebrate freedom, the country's freedom, our freedom as humans in the United States. And in spite of any political divide, we celebrate courage, sacrifice, opportunity, possibility, all the things that make this country extraordinary. But this morning I want to talk a little about a different kind of freedom, personal freedom. Because the truth is a lot of people are hoping for that kind of freedom, personal freedom someday. They don't have it yet. Someday when the business gets better, someday when the money is there, someday when life calms down, someday when they finally feel confident enough, healed enough, motivated enough, disciplined enough. But freedom is not something that magically arrives one day. It's something we have the power to build right now, one decision at a time. And for those who feel they want more, and honestly, I hope that this will encourage you this morning because it means that your future is not decided by where you are, right? It's something we build one decision at a time. It's decided by what you do next. Every healthy choice, every difficult conversation, every prospecting call, every workout, every boundary, every moment you choose courage instead of avoidance is how freedom gets built. Little by little, day by day, choice by choice. And here's what I know for sure: the people who eventually create lives they love are usually not the people who had perfect circumstances. They're the people who stayed in motion in spite of the circumstances. They kept going when it was uncomfortable. They stayed grateful during hard seasons. They kept showing up before evidence appeared. And they stayed aligned with their values even when it would have been easier not to. That is still motivating to me to watch. And it's leadership in the hugest way. And gratitude is a huge part of this. I think sometimes people wait to feel grateful before they express gratitude. But some of the most powerful moments of gratitude happen in the middle of rebuilding. When you look around and realize maybe everything's not perfect, but there's still so much good here. There's still opportunity here, there's still growth here, there's so much purpose here, and there's life here. And when you can hold on to gratitude in the middle of uncertainty, that changes you. There's all kinds of science too that shows that when you practice gratitude, even when you don't feel it, it literally changes your physiology. So today, while everybody is celebrating freedom, I want you to think about this. What would it look like to start building a life that actually feels fully free? Not performative, not exhausting, not constantly reactive, but peaceful, aligned, honest, healthy, and purposeful. Because you're never stuck, you're never behind, and it's never ever too late. You can start building that life today. And if you have it already, I celebrate you, and I hope you're celebrating yourself as well because it's a huge accomplishment. And not everyone can say that. But start building it if you're not there, one action, one choice, one habit, one conversation at a time. So I hope everybody celebrates this weekend. I hope you rest. I hope you enjoy your people, and I hope you eat all the yummy picnic food. But also remember that the future version of your life is being built by the choices you make right now. And that should inspire you. It definitely inspires me because it means that your power is in your hand. So, everybody, I hope you have a phenomenal, happy 4th of July. We're glad you're here. Robin and I are just so grateful for your support. We're coaches. We coach for our business called Badass Coaching. Come visit us at badasscoaching.pro. And we will see you on Monday. Robin has the mic on the 6 a.m. call. Take care, everybody. We love you guys. Have a great day.
