Manifesting Series – Day 4: Remove the Resistance
Today we talked about one of the biggest things standing between us and the life we say we want...
Resistance.
The truth is, our biggest obstacle usually isn't the market.
It isn't the economy.
It isn't the competition.
More often than not...
It's the story we're telling ourselves.
We all hear that little voice:
"What if I fail?"
"What if they judge me?"
"I'm not ready."
"There are too many agents."
"I'll start when I feel more confident."
But what if those aren't facts...
What if they're simply fear dressed up as truth?
One of my favorite reminders from today:
✨ Fear isn't always a stop sign.
Sometimes it's pointing directly toward your next breakthrough.
We also talked about how resistance loves to disguise itself as "being practical."
"I'll wait until Monday."
"I need one more class."
"I need a better camera."
"I'll do it when the market improves."
The problem is... perfection keeps us parked.
And remember what we said yesterday:
God can't steer a parked car.
Today, I challenged everyone to ask a different question.
Instead of asking:
"What if I fail?"
Ask:
"What if this works?"
What if this conversation changes someone's life?
What if this video reaches exactly the person who needed to hear it?
What if the opportunity you've been praying for is waiting on the other side of one uncomfortable decision?
💛 Today's Reminder:
* Fear is part of growth.
* Courage isn't the absence of fear—it's moving forward anyway.
* Replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones.
* Don't let perfection delay your purpose.
* One courageous step today can change everything tomorrow.
Your future isn't created by the stories that keep you stuck...
It's created by the decisions that move you forward.
Keep believing.
Keep becoming.
And don't let fear make decisions that belong to your future.
We'll see you tomorrow for the final day of our Manifesting Series! ✨
All right, good morning, everybody. It is Thursday, July 9th. Um, my name is Lee McGuinness. I am so happy to be with you this morning on your 6 a.m. call. Robin and I are just always so grateful and thrilled that you join us. And uh those of you that join every day, we're just yeah, we love you and we're thankful. And um, tell your friends, we want more people to listen. So, anyway, we are on day four of our manifesting series. And over the past few days, we've talked about getting clear on your vision, becoming the person who can live that vision, and then taking aligned action. But today, I want to talk about something that often keeps people from receiving what they're working so hard to create, and that's resistance. Because here's the truth sometimes the biggest obstacle, if it's a market or the economy or your competitions, sometimes it's the story that we're telling ourselves. Have you ever noticed how you get all excited about a goal? You'll decide, I don't know, that you're gonna start making videos, or you'll commit to calling your database that's a big one, or you'll decide you're finally going to get healthy, and then suddenly your brain starts shocking. What if people judge me? What if I sound stupid? What if nobody calls me back? What if I fail? What if I succeed and then can't keep it up? And that voice is resistance. And I used to say there's a voice inside your head, and it's called liar, liar, cancel fire. Um, but every single one of us has it. And Stephen Princefield, he's an author, he wrote an entire book called The War of Art. And he describes resistance as the force that shows up every time we're about to do something meaningful. I've often said anytime you're on the verge of a breakthrough that is going to get you closer to helping a lot of people, or that is going to raise collective consciousness, there are forces in the universe, I call them the forces of evil, who try to keep you down to keep you where you are, because they just don't want us doing anything that's helping people or or getting us all closer to higher power God or whatever. So I don't know, just tuck that in the back of your brain and see if that resonates. But what's cool about it is if you know that, um, whenever you hear that voice or whenever you start seeing those things that are keeping you down, you can just ignore them because really they're it's just a bully void. And it's not, it can't keep you down. You just got to keep going. So resistance doesn't usually show up when you're scrolling social media. It shows up when you're about to grow, when you're about to become visible, when you're about to take a risk, when you're about to step into the person that you've been praying to become. Here's what I've learned. Fear often isn't a stop sign, it's a growth sign. Sometimes the very thing you're afraid to do is pointing you towards your next breakthrough. So I'm not talking about ignoring wisdom or taking reckless risks. I'm talking about recognizing the difference between actual danger and imagined fear. Most of the things we worry about never happen. And the ones that do, we actually handle far better than we thought we would. I also think resistance can sound surprisingly practical. Like, you know, I'm too busy, I'll start Monday, I need to take another class on that, we need a better camera, my phone isn't so good. I need a better market, I'll do it when I feel more confident. Does any of that sound familiar? Most of those aren't facts. They're just delays. Because perfection is one of resistance's favorite disguises. And you heard something that has that has helped me tremendously. Instead of asking, what if I fail? I asked, what if this work? What if this conversation actually changes someone's life? What if this listing appointment turns into three referrals? What if this is the video that reaches the exact person who needed to hear it? What if this season of discipline changes my health forever? What if the future I'm praying for is waiting on the other side of one uncomfortable decision or action? And I truly believe those things. And I also believe that faith and fear can't lead at the same time. Can they exist at the same time? Absolutely, but they can't lead at the same time. One of them is always going to be in the driver's seat. And that doesn't mean you'll never be afraid because courage isn't the absence of fear. Courage is deciding that your purpose is bigger than your fear. And by the way, you're allowed to tell fear to ride in the backseat. So today I want you to identify one limiting belief that's been holding you back. And maybe it's I'm too old, which honestly sometimes hits me smack in the forehead, or I'm too new, or the market is too hard, or there are too many agents doing the same thing, or I'm not good enough, I'm not ready, you know, I'm not smart enough, I'm not educated enough. I don't know what the stories are, but whatever they are, they're not true. Ask yourself the question. Ask yourself, is it actually verifiably true? Or is this just a story I've repeated so many times that I've started believing it? Because stories can absolutely be rewritten. So today I want you to take one of those negative beliefs and flip it. Make it into a better one, replace that fear with faith, replace excuses with action, replace resistance with one courage and step forward. Because manifestation isn't about dreaming big, it's about becoming free enough to receive the life that you're working to create. And one of the interesting things about manifestation is we just need to show up and do the thing. But really, it's it's the universe, God, whatever you believe in that actually makes the things happen. So the work that we need to do is really kind of easy. It's as simple as a decision, it's as simple as just overcoming the fear. It's as simple as just showing up and deciding to be the person that's going to receive those things. We don't have to muscle our way through this. We just need to show up willing, and the universe will jump into action and make these things come to you. So uh yeah, I love this. I really think this is an important topic. I thank you for being here with me this morning. For those of you that have been showing up during the summer at 6 a.m. every morning, you rock, you're badasses. And if you need any help with any of this, this is what we love to do. We love to, we, this is the best. I love this part, helping people understand that those negative stories in their head aren't true and that they're truly amazing, awesome people that deserve to give the world the gifts that they have. So thanks for being here this morning. Tomorrow we'll wrap up the series by talking about gratitude, trust, and letting go. Because sometimes the final step is just learning to stop forcing the outcome and trusting the process. So I'll see you here tomorrow at 6 a.m. Robin is on vacation still, but she'll be back. And I can't wait to see her when she gets here. All right. Talk to you guys. Love you guys.
