Every fall, real estate agents say the same thing ~ "I feel like I'm starting over." But that feeling isn't born in September. It's built, quietly, through a hundred small decisions made in July.

In this episode, we're getting honest about the real reason some agents arrive in fall with a full pipeline and momentum, while others are scrambling to rebuild from scratch. And spoiler: it has nothing to do with working harder or being smarter.
We're talking about the one thing that actually separates thriving agents from stressed ones and it's simpler than you think. Not 20 calls a week. Not posting every day. Not grinding through summer while everyone else takes a breath. It's about staying visible in a way that's actually sustainable for your real life ~ beach days, tournaments, vacations, and all.

You'll walk away from this episode with a completely different way of thinking about summer productivity, and a clear, honest answer to the question you should actually be asking yourself right now.

If you've ever hit September and thought, "where did the summer go?"
~ this one's for you. Share it with every agent you know who's told themselves they'll "get back into their routine after Labor Day." That conversation starts here.

Good morning and happy Monday. Lee was covering for me while I was gone last week, and I am super appreciative for that. So, Monday motivation. July determines your September. I want to ask you one question this morning. What if I told you that your fall is being decided today, this month? Not because you're going to work harder, but because you're deciding whether you're going to disappear or not. Not in September, not after Labor Day, but right now. See, every year we hear agents say the same thing. Somewhere just got away from me. I'll get back into my routine after vacation. After Labor Day, I am going to be all in. Everybody's busy, anyways, so it's fine for me to take some time off. And before you know it, September arrives. They're stressed, they're scrambling. And then they're trying to rebuild a pipeline that they spent all summer neglecting. But here's the truth September doesn't create momentum. It reveals your summer activities. The business you have in the fall is usually the result of the new seeds that you've planted over the summer. That's why the agents who have incredible September or fall aren't necessarily the smartest agents. They're not the hardest working agents. They're simply the agents who never disappeared. Think about your own relationship. The people you trust the most aren't the people who you call every day. They're the people who consistently stay connected. Business works exactly the same way. Your clients are not keeping score on how many Instagram posts you made. They aren't counting your open houses. They aren't measuring how many emails you sent. They're simply asking, are you still here? Subconsciously, of course. That's why I love one of these core messages in our summer success blueprint event that's coming up. Consistency beats frequency every single time. You don't have to do everything this summer. You just have to keep doing something. Maybe your summer version looks like five meaningful calls a week instead of 20. One great social media post each week instead of posting every day. Checking in with your top 20 past clients or FOI, attending one community event this month, and notice what they all have in common. They're honestly truly simple. They're sustainable and they keep you visible. Because visibility isn't about being everywhere, it's about staying in people's minds. And here's something that Lee and I have discussed as coaches. The agency struggle in the fall. Usually you don't make one huge mistake. They make dozens of little tiny mistakes leading up to the fall. Subconsciously, they'll say, I'll call them next week. You know what? I'll just post after vacation, I'll die back in. I'll get back to my routine on Monday. Those little decisions don't feel important in the moment, but they compound. Just like success compounds. Every conversation, every relationship, small action compound. So here's my challenge for y'all today. Don't ask yourself, what do I have to accomplish this summer? Instead, ask, what rhythm can I actually sustain? Because rhythm beats intensity. Every single time, if you can create a rhythm that works with vacations and summers, and it works with your kids being home, works with the tournaments and the beach days and the barbecues, you'll arrive in September with momentum instead of regret. And that's exactly why Lee and I have created this summer success blueprint coming up. This Thursday, we're hosting a free one-hour virtual workshop on Zoom where we'll walk you through the five pillars that help Asians stay in momentum all summer long. Then on July 23rd, we're hosting a hands-on workshop in person in Leesburg where you'll actually build your own summer success blueprint before you leave. It's not ideas, it's not theory, it's an ask for a plan that fits your business, your family, and your lifestyle. And here's my favor: if you know of any other realtor who's who says every September, I feel like I'm starting over, invite them. It's better with friends, anyways. Let's help more agents stop rebuilding every fall and start rebuilding momentums that last all year. So remember this today. September is not built in September. It's built by decisions that you make in July today. I hope that you all have an amazing Monday. Lee and I are always here for you. Hopefully, we'll see you on Thursday. And Lee will be back on the mic tomorrow. Have a great Monday.
