We talk a lot about lead generation, visibility, and pipeline but nobody talks about the thing that makes all of it possible: your energy. And right now, at the tail end of summer, most agents are quietly running on fumes and calling it hustle.

This Wellness Wednesday episode hits different. Yes, we're talking about real estate. But more importantly, we're talking about you ~ the person behind the business, the parent trying to squeeze in one more memorable vacation, the professional whose fall calendar is already filling up before summer is even over.

Pillars three and four of the Summer Success Blueprint are energy and relationships, and this conversation will change how you think about both. Because wellness isn't just the gym and the green smoothie. It's the patience you have with a difficult client. It's the creativity you bring to a tough negotiation. It's the version of yourself that actually shows up for your family, your clients, and yourself.

We'll walk you through two questions that every agent should be sitting with right now, a simple one-to-five energy check that will tell you exactly where you are today, and the one small shift that could move the needle before the week is out.

If you've been white-knuckling your way through summer and telling yourself you'll rest in the fall ~ this episode is your permission slip to stop. You don't have to choose between a thriving business and an enjoyable summer. But you do have to be intentional about protecting both.

Because success isn't just built by protecting your calendar. It's built by protecting the person who's on it.

Good morning, everyone. Welcome to your 6 a.m. call. And today is Vaughnness Wednesday tied in with energy and relationship. This week we've been walking through the five pillars of our summer success blueprint. Yesterday we talked about visibility and lead generation. And today we're diving into our third and fourth pillar: energy and relationship. When most people hear the word wellness, they immediately think about going to the gym, eating healthier, or drinking more water. Those things obviously absolutely matter, but wellness is also protecting your mental energy, your emotional energy, and the relationships that matter most. Because if your energy is depleted, it affects everything. It affects the conversations you have with your clients, the patience that you have with your family, your creativity, your motivation, your confidence, and ultimately your results. Think about where we are on the calendar. We are in the final stretch of the summer. Kids are getting tired because they're off a routine. Parents are trying to squeeze in one more vacation to make it memorable. Back to school shopping is around the corner and advertised everywhere. Fall calendars are already starting to fill up, and before they know it, we'll be talking about Labor Day, football season, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. It happens so fast. This is the time of year when many people begin running on empty. So today I want you to think about two questions. First, what are your non-negotiables for the rest of the summer? What are you committed to protecting? Maybe it's family dinner, maybe it's your morning workout, maybe it's taking your kids to the pool, maybe it's just one more date each week, or maybe it's just sitting on the back porch for 15 minutes without your phone listening to the wildlife. Whatever it is, put it on your calendar first. Always protect your personal calendar first. So here's the second question. What's one work commitment that you refuse to let slide before school starts? Maybe it's having five meaningful conversations this week. Maybe it's your two-hour morning power hour recording one video every day or every week, or it's following up with every lead before the day ends. Because protecting your personal energy just doesn't mean abandoning your business. Your energy at home and your energy at work. Your family deserves the best religion of you, your clients deserve the best religion interview, and you, you deserve to enjoy the rest of your summer instead of simply just surviving it. So let's talk about something. If you rented your energy today on a scale of one to five, one means that you're exhausted, overwhelmed, ready non-fum, you don't even know where to start, and five means that you're energized, you're focused, you're motivated, decided to take on the day. Where are you today? Write that down somewhere, a mental note. Because here's the important question: what's one small thing that you could move up to your number one spot? Not one to five, but just one spot. Maybe it's just taking a 10-minute walk this morning before noon because it's going to be 100 degrees uh later today. Maybe it's five minutes outside to soak up some of that amazing vitamin D, drinking more water, taking a real lunch break, turn your phone off and enjoy your meal and be present. Turn your phone off for one hour tonight, going to bed 30 minutes earlier, studying a workout a little later, enjoy your coffee with your spouse or your kids. How about taking a nap? I love my nap. Small changes create big results. We spend so much time protecting our appointments. We protect our deadlines and our calendars, but are we even protecting the one thing that makes all this possible? Our energy. Because energy isn't selfish, it's our fuel. It's what allows us to show up fully for our families and our clients and our teammates, and more importantly, ourselves. So remember this success isn't just built by protecting your calendar, it's also built by protecting the person who's on the calendar. So today, for Wellness Wednesday, protect one thing that fills your cup. Protect one work habit that keeps your business moving and flowing. And remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. We've all heard that before. But you can absolutely refill it before it's empty. So before we wrap up, I would just like to pled one more time for our 10 a.m. summer success event tomorrow. We will dive deep into this tomorrow and next Thursday in person. We would love to see you there. I hope you all have an incredible wellness Wednesday. I too will enjoy my coffee a little longer today. Make it a great day.
