The morning of their biggest workshop yet, Robin showed up with something more than a presentation. She showed up with a realization — one that started with watching her co-host Leigh rehearse the material for what felt like the hundredth time.

Robin's instinct was to just go for it. They knew the content. But the more they practiced, the more something clicked: confidence doesn't come from hoping things go well. It comes from preparation. And the people who make excellence look effortless have almost always put in hours of work that nobody ever sees.

That insight becomes the thread running through this entire episode. Because today isn't really about a workshop or a workbook or a checklist. It's about something bigger — the kind of growth that happens when you choose to be in a room you didn't have to be in, surrounded by people who are all trying to get better at the same time you are.

We also get into a question that doesn't get asked enough: who is actually holding you accountable right now? Not comfortably. Not conveniently. But truly, honestly holding you to the standard you say you want? And is that still the right person — or have you just kept them around because it's familiar?

With six weeks of summer still on the clock, this episode is a reminder that there's still real time to build momentum, create better habits, and show up differently before September arrives. Not by working harder. By working with more intention, more consistency, and a clearer sense of who you're surrounding yourself with.

Sometimes one small decision changes the trajectory of your entire year. This might be that conversation.

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to your 6 a.m. call, where you are already ahead of the majority of your peers because you have a morning routine. Today is an exciting day for Lee and I because this morning we host our summer success blueprint workshop. We spent weeks preparing for today, and honestly, the preparation itself has reminded me of something that I wanted to share with you all this morning. One of the things I've really enjoyed about partnering with Lee is that we're still learning each other's styles. We approach some things differently, which is why I think it makes us a great partner. But what we have completely in common is our passion for helping other people succeed. One thing I've learned about her is that she loves to rehearse and go through things. She likes to walk through the material multiple times, fine-tune it, and make sure that we're both completely comfortable before we ever stay in the front of a room. At first, I thought, girl, we got this. We know the material. But the more we practice it, the more I realize something. Confidence comes from not hoping things go well. Confidence comes from preparation. And honestly, that is why Lee is so great at what she does with her coaching and her mentoring. She is the game to my game, because I am the opposite. I like to go, go, go, figure it out as we go. And so she has taught me to slow down. And so I'm grateful for that. Uh, the people who make something look effortless have usually put it in countless hours behind the scenes that no one ever sees. Whether it's an athlete, a musician, a chef, a speaker, or a real estate professional, excellence is not an accident. It's built one repetition at a time. Preparing for today reminded me that growth doesn't happen by wishing for it. It happens because we're willing to prepare for the opportunities we want. And that's really what today is all about. It's not about the workbook we put together or a presentation, that check in a box on the calendar. It's really about helping people leave just a little bit better than when they walked in. If every single person who joined us today walks away with one new idea, one new habit to implement, maybe implement one page from our workbook that changes the way they approach their business the next six weeks, then we've done our job. Although we ask always is that you leave the room 1% better than yesterday. Because success is not built on massive changes overnight. We know that. It's built on small improvements that you consistently put into action. I truly believe that if you become just 1% better every day and then another 1% better tomorrow, six weeks from now, you're going to be operating in a completely different level than you are today. The amazing Khobe Riot lived by this philosophy as well. And that's why today's room matters. There's something incredible and powerful about choosing to be in a room full of people who all want to grow versus being in a room that you have to be in. People who didn't have to be there, people who made the decision to invest in themselves, that kind of energy is contagious. Sometimes the biggest breakthrough doesn't even come from the speaker. It comes from a conversation during a break. It comes from hearing another agent ask a question that you hadn't thought about. It comes from realizing you're not the only one struggling with something. Or maybe it's simply being reminded why you fell in love with this crazy business in the first place. I've always believed that we rise or fall to the level of people that we consistently surround ourselves with. So that's why coaching and mentoring matters. There are incredible coaches all over the country, and many have built amazing businesses helping thousands of agents. What I love about Lee and I, and we are intentional about this, is we're building our local business. We're accessible. We're probably seeing many of the agents in the room today at an open house, at a community event, or grabbing copy when they need someone to talk to or challenge. We don't want to be voices on a Zoom one call a month. We want to be with people, help others stay in momentum throughout the year in our community. And that brings me to something that I'd love for everyone listening this morning to think about. Who is holding you accountable? Like truly, really, who is holding you accountable? Do you have someone who challenges you, someone who tells you the truth instead of just telling you what you want to hear? Someone who celebrates your wins that you feel comfortable sharing your wins, but also pushes you when you've gotten too comfortable. Here's the other question. Is it still the right person? Sometimes we keep the same accountability partner or mentor simply because it's comfortable and you don't want to hurt their feelings. But growth rarely happens in our comfort zone. We know that. Maybe you don't need to replace anyone. Maybe you just need to simply add another voice into your circle. Someone who raises your standards, someone who stretches your thinking, and someone who reminds you of what you're capable of the days that you've forgotten. So you don't have to let go of your bestie, just add somebody else. Your bestie knows you. The new coach, mentor, accountability partner can help push you where you need that. As we head into the end of July, we still have six weeks of summer left. Don't give up so much time. That's six weeks to build relationships, to generate business, six weeks to create better habits, six weeks to build momentum before everyone else wakes up in September wondering where their summer went. Don't let your foot completely off the gas. Instead, find a rhythm that allows you to enjoy your summer while moving your business forward. And that's exactly why we created today's workshop. It's not to convince people to work harder. Nobody wants to work harder, but to help them work with more intention, more consistency, and more momentum. I hope that whatever room that you choose to be in over the next six weeks is one that challenges you, encourages you, and reminds you of what's possible. Because the right room can change your mindset and the right conversation can really change your business. And sometimes we just need one little tiny small decision that can change the trajectory of the rest of the year. I hope that you all have an incredible Thursday. Let us know if you need anything. And if you're not local, we would gladly share our workshop blueprint with you all. All you have to do is reach out. Have a great day.
