Welcome back to the Everyday Faith Podcast from Eastside with today's Faith Rooted Principle. Hey there, welcome back. I'm Isaac Johnson. Today's Monday, May the 18th. I hope that you have an awesome Monday today. Our rooted principle for today is this nothing touches your life without first passing through the hand of your loving Heavenly Father. God knows exactly what you're going through. Jeremiah twenty nine, verse number eleven through thirteen, the Bible says this, for I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you, and ye shall seek me and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Again, that very first part there in verse number eleven, I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. In our devotional book, Rooted in Christ by Dr. Paul Chapel, uh there's a message from God, a letter that uh concerns uh his love for you and me, and it really illustrates it beautifully. Here's what the letter says it says, My precious child, I am in control, I am sovereign. Yes, I allow you to make your own choices, and I know you don't fully understand how these ideas can operate side by side, but I'm able to work within and around the choices you make to cause my ultimate purposes to succeed. For this you must trust me. Ask me about your choices and plans. My wisdom is yours if you'll ask. I want you to cooperate with my plans. When the people around you don't do that, be assured I'm still in control. I will fulfill my plan. Their choices are their choices, but I'm still in control. Trust me, I'll use it for your good. Lovingly, your heavenly father, the King. That it's beautiful thinking about how that God works all things for our good, even in the choices that we make. Sometimes we forget, really, that God is in control of our lives, even uh when others hurt us by acting against God's will, God is able to make those choices, turn those choices into good. And with God in control, there's no accidents or coincidence coincidences. God told the people of Israel through Jeremiah that even uh through their current circumstances and that th though that they were bad at that time, even through that, and it showed there was no hope, no and the future uh was kind of to them looked dim, but God said, Hey, it's bright. I'm gonna give you an expected end. With God planning for your life, the future is bright. I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the Lord. Thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give you an expected end. You know, I'm so thankful for the Bible tells us that God is working all things together for the good of those that love God to them who are the called according to his purpose. Nothing touches your life without first passing through the hands of your loving Heavenly Father. Thanks for joining us for today's Rooted Principle right here on the Everyday Faith Podcast.
