Welcome back to the Everyday Faith Podcast from Eastside with today's Faith Rooted Principle. Hey there, welcome back. I'm Isaac Johnson, and today is Tuesday, May the 26th. I hope that you have a great day today. I want to give us our rooted principle for today, which is this invite someone today to join you on the road to heaven. You know, there's nothing that we can do in this life that's more important than that, than sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others and teaching them to be disciples of Jesus Christ. And I love hearing uh when someone's testimony is given at the end of their life that, man, they uh were fruit bearers, that they uh tried everything that they could to take as many people to heaven as they could with them, and they encouraged others to walk with Jesus Christ. And, you know, Jesus said that it was for this purpose uh that we were chosen, we were called, that we were saved, and what a joy it will be to spend eternity uh with those that we've had the opportunity to lead to Christ or to help to grow in Jesus Christ. John fifteen, here's what Jesus said. He said, Henceforth, I called you not servants, for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth, but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard of my Father I've made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that who whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name he may give you. We are to be fruit bearers, yeah ye should bring forth fruit. And really I believe that he's talking about bringing others to Jesus, showing others uh that how what Jesus has revealed of the Father. And you know, that is, like I said a moment ago, that is probably uh one of the most important, if not the most important thing that we could do uh with our life is sharing the gospel uh with other people. Paul put it this way in 1 Corinthians chapter number two, three rather, and uh verse number six through eight, he said, I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. The fact of the matter is this we cannot do the saving. God does the saving, but we must do everything within our power to share the good news of Jesus Christ, to share the gospel. Verse seven says, So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth, but God that giveth the increase. We are just nobodies that should be telling everybody about somebody who can save anybody, and that's Jesus Christ. Then verse eight says, Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one, and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. But again, this message of Jesus Christ, the gospel, the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important message that we can share with anyone. Invite someone to join you on the road to heaven. Hey, uh as simple as this, if you were to die today, heaven forbid, if you were to die today, do you know where you would spend all of eternity? And if they don't, share the message. Share how they can come to heaven with you. That's the most important message that we can share. And hey, listen, invite someone today to come on the road to heaven with you. Have a great day. Thanks for joining us for today's Rooted Principle, right here on the Everyday Faith Podcast.
