00:01:37.120 We left off on the last broadcast talking about the proofs for the universal flood that the Bible speaks about in the days of Noah, in which eight persons were saved alive in the ark when God destroyed the world that then was, with its race of superhuman giants, with its abounding wickedness, and did so uh in response to mankind. 00:01:37.920 --> 00:01:41.200 God always gives man what anthropological proofs of the great flood in Noah's day. 00:02:31.680 --> 00:02:42.479 We just cited a few of them on the last broadcast, and we'll cite a few more on the program today before the hairy mammoth, and we talked about the fact that these were found in their entirety frozen in Siberia, with the hair still on the skin, the skin uncorrupted, the flesh uh still edible, and the of quote. 00:06:50.000 --> 00:07:03.600 One of the most recent and most amazing discoveries concerning the flood is the chronological prism catalog WB four four four, now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. 00:07:03.759 --> 00:07:18.480 It was discovered by Weld Blundell Expedition, working in Mesopotamia, and is described by Professor Stephen Langdon of Oxford as the most important historical document of its kind ever recovered among cuneiform records. 00:07:18.639 --> 00:07:27.920 It gives the complete chronological tables of early Babylonian and Sumerian history and dates from about 2000 second sensation by announcing that Professor Langdon had made the same discovery at Kish, which is near Babylon, hundreds of miles from Ur. 00:12:03.679 --> 00:12:17.519 Two months prior to this, in a letter to the Times, Professor Langdon had referred to the discovery at Kish of a stratum E, in which an alluvial layer had been found a foot thick, running right through Kish as far as the excavations extended. 00:12:17.840 --> 00:12:28.879 In this layer, said Professor Langdon in the March 18 issue of the Times, there are two precipitations of clay, potsherred and stranded fish, lying Babylonia, Egypt, and Palestine, and he said I I should say a recently re-released book, said, quote, a year ago, who could have believed that the story of the flood in Genesis might prove to contain actual history? 00:13:13.039 --> 00:13:20.320 I confess that this is one of the passages of which I had never dared hope for any confirmation from the results of excavation. 00:13:20.480 --> 00:13:40.799 Yet, the discoveries in Babylonia and in the neighborhood of Ur and Kish leave no doubt whatever that at the very period in which the story of Noah and his Ark must be fitted, the whole country was buried under an inundation, bringing civilization to a dead stop and causing cessation of all life and activity. 00:13:43.759 --> 00:14:08.960 You see, the wonderful thing about the Bible and being a Bible believer is you never have to fear what scientists may discover, you never have to fear what archaeologists may unearth, you never have to fear what anthropologists may learn, because all truth, all genuine, accurate truth will confirm the Bible record. 00:14:09.120 --> 00:14:19.919 Never will it speak against the Bible record, never will it undermine the Bible record, all and the affairs of the Hebrew people, and singularly enough, we do not find in the annals of contemporary nations any traditions that would even suggest events like the Exodus, the conquest of Canaan,
