Something I've never really talked about publicly is that I started a business so that I could eventually become a mom. I didn't want to have to ask to take time off, I wanted to be able to keep my kiddo home with me for as long as I wanted, and I didn't want to keep giving all my energy away to a classroom full of kids that weren't mine.
In this episode, I'm talking about my journey of balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship. I'm reflecting on the unexpected challenges of parenting, what the last year and a half was like for me, and what feels like some truly random pieces of advice.
