But one thing, one top story that we saw over this week was the missing 11-year-old boy with autism who was found at the JFK Airport. Now, Rufus, this story had a lot of parents, you know, really much holding their breath. Yeah, as this 11-year-old boy with autism. He was reported missing, but he was found safe at the JFK Airport. And I don't know if you've seen it, but um he booked a black car through Uber.

Yeah, yeah. The Uber, they picked him up. I think he said he wanted to go to Canada. And so, yeah.

Yeah, ended up in TSA and being the uncle of someone with this. This is true. And I think the one time that I did watch my um nephew, you know, he did want to go outside. I think they have an affinity for unlocking the doors, going outside, running and playing. You know, their mind is moving so much faster than ours. And so when all is well, um, the child is safe. Now, you know, you and I do not have biological children, but you know, what do you think needs to be put in place to protect these vulnerable little people?

Uh, I really can't speak to that. I would guess maybe like parenting feels like is the answer for me, but I don't know how did a 10-year-old book a book a um a black car, whose credit card did he use? Where was his mom and dad at? How did he get to the airport by himself? What Uber driver decided that he can be put in a car by himself without some type of permission from the app or from somebody? I mean, it just doesn't make sense because I feel like when I was 10 or 11, I was pretty responsible, but I wasn't finna go get in no cab by myself. I remember there was one time in my life where my cousin had a baby, she was 16, and I may have been 12. And I stayed at the hospital with her for a day, and it came time to go home. It's like 9 or 10 o'clock at night. And my mom, I don't know if we had a car at that time, but she um she found a way to like put me in a taxi. Now that was unorthodox, but in today's world, like how can a 10-year-old use a credit card get in the Uber and nobody questions anything? That's that's weird.

You're right, because they were trying to I like your questioning because they were trying to blame Uber for this. But I'm gonna tell you, you know, I've had several lives, and at one point one of my hustlers was driving Uber, and this was actually in Atlanta, and so um, man, you'd be surprised how many people put their kids in the Uber in the morning, and they'll tell you. And one thing freaked me out it was like a little boy, he could have been about 10. I didn't talk to him, um, but he came in, got his breakfast. So that was the norm. His mother was ordering cars for him, and so I guess it's a city thing, given that this was JFK. You and I both grew up in southern state, so you know it was a lot different there, but life moves much faster in these larger cities, so I I guess that's the norm. But I do remember picking up that little boy, and I remember taking him to an elementary school, but also even picking them up. And this was um, I said Atlanta, but even parts of like Jonesboro, Georgia, like in those areas out there, um, it was a little bit south of uh Atlanta, but nonetheless, they don't care. They at work and they say, just go pick my kid up.

I drove Uber and Lyft for a while years ago too, but I don't remember ever picking up a child. And even if I had been assigned to pick up a 10-year-old, I probably would have had some questions. Like, where your mama at? Because I always, when I see kids by themselves, I'm like, Where your mom, where your mama and your daddy? And what's somebody? Because you you look like you ain't supposed to be here.

It is like everyone in the industry is really making their way to tear this lady down. Uh, you know, but this really did overtake the internet, and so her spin it is everywhere online. Celebrities are joining this. Yeah, yeah, regular, regrettably so. I think Lisa Ray even jumped in on the challenge and got on a um, she got on the show with Carlos King and said, I shouldn't have been doing that. I shouldn't have been promoting that song and and this and that. But do you think people are risking too much if they chase the viral moment?

I don't think people are risking anything about chasing the viral moment. I think people should do what they want to do. Um, and I I mean, although I don't like the song, I can see how it's catchy as hell. It's it's it goes along with the the like the way we talk about shit now. You know, all the women are like, you know, take care of me, buy me this, buy me that. I don't give a fuck. I just want your money, basically. So I you know, I I can see how it's catchy, but I I did have a problem when I saw yesterday. I saw a video of a bunch of kids. A bunch of like young, probably 11-year-old, like the young man we were just talking about getting in the Uber, like that age, singing the song like full on with the with the with the with the explicit lyrics and everything, and I'm just like, how do we get here?

How did we get here? And also those two young ladies that actually got arrested by participating in the challenge with their boosted bags. They made it easy for authority. It's a dance challenge, like on TikTok. You get in front of it with the song and you do the little dance, you see all these people dancing to it. Um but they were doing the song or dance or challenge rather, and were arrested. And one of them has previously been arrested, I think as of January, but nonetheless, you all um, it just goes into the stereotype of people saying, you know, hey, you shouldn't be doing this. I know Boris Watkins, who's an economist, um, you know, an economics instructor, or faculty person rather, uh, has been very bold speaking about that, and black people saying, you know, if you do this, you know, following the lyrics of the song. And he's been talking about rap lyrics for forever. But just you all make best decisions. I'm sure none of our listeners are boosting bags.

Well, it has been revealed that he could be facing up to four years, I think it was five years rather, if he's found guilty. You know, tax evasion of federal taxes is so that uh Twister has owed more than $440,000. So um, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know we don't want to see any more of that, but you know.

Now, since then, a judge has granted him a $1 million bun, but now there's even a bigger consequence. And I think you may have said this on the previous show. The Detroit Lions has got his ass gone.

Um, and one thing about it, you know, to close out our economy segment, you know, um, his four children get to split his $850 million fortune. Um yeah, yeah, yeah. And I just, you know, when you start looking people up, two of them are attorneys. Um, one is an investment banker and one is an executive, excuse me, in entertainment. And so, you know, when we think about holding on to things, and I saw a different side of Clive, because you know, social media makes the world so far and for so you know, so small. I didn't know he had any children. I just know he liked both black men. And so those men would be giving him massages on the yachts. I who knew he was heterosexual, and I think he was asked that before.

You know, I know a social worker that works at Tyson. I forgot what his job was. No, no, I think he um he was like a a it's something psychological, whatever was going on. But that was, yeah, he is, you know, yeah. So lab grown meat. And so while it provides traditional um chicken products across major restaurant and retail channels, those restaurants like your Taco Bells, your KFC, the McNuggets at uh McDonald's, um, it was Kroger, private label chicken, and Walmart's um what is it, Great Value Chicken. That's lab grown meat. And so, you know, it just it pushes you to almost want to be what? I don't know, grow your own that, you know, have your own goat in the backyard that you can slay at a later date. Um, it just, you know, you want to see it walking. Right. But those of us who are meat eaters, we want to see it walking first.

Like, I I don't agree with the whole lab grown meat thing, but so you know, in recent years, it's been a big push for like veganism and uh like okay, um, what they call it, like what?
