Banish the Lies: Outsmart Your Inner Critic
Banish the Lies is a podcast for women who overthink, self-sabotage, and secretly feel stuck, even when life looks “together” on the outside.
Each week, host Tania Cervoni explores the quiet fears and false stories that shape how we see ourselves, lies like “you’ll never be enough” or “if it’s not perfect, it doesn’t count.” Through honest reflection, lived experience, and simple mindset shifts, she invites you to loosen your grip on fear, soften perfectionism, and step out of performance.
You’ll hear conversations about identity, self-trust, and what it actually looks like to live from truth instead of fear, with practical ways to quiet self-doubt and return to what matters.
Because healing doesn’t mean fixing who you are. It means remembering you were never broken.

Monday Moment: Say It Out Loud
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
When your mind jumps to what’s wrong or what’s coming next, this simple out-loud practice can interrupt the anxiety spiral and bring you back to what’s right in front of you.
Happy Monday. Some Mondays feel exciting. Other Mondays not so much and I've noticed when my mind starts going in the morning, it usually doesn't go somewhere helpful. It goes to thinking about what's wrong, what's coming, or what I might be forgetting. So here's something simple I've been doing that actually helps shift that. I just start saying out loud what I love, and the key here is to say it out loud, not in my head, not even on paper, but out loud. I love this cup of coffee. I love the warmth of it in my hands. Love this bed that I'm sitting on. I love the sound of the rain right now. I love these ridiculously comfy, stretchy pants I'm wearing. I love the little bit of sunlight trying to peek out from behind the rain clouds, and it's even more powerful if you can name what's right in front of you. I love this piece of sunflower art on my wall. I love my puppy. Duke curled up on my leg and I even notice. I love that I get to start again today. Clean slate. And I keep going, saying the things I love out loud longer than feels necessary and not rushing it. It's not about how many things can you name in 30 seconds, but actually feeling each thing as I say it. And what I've noticed is it interrupts that other voice because it's hard to be spiraling about your day while you're saying things like, I love this warm coffee out loud. It gives your mind somewhere else to go. So if your morning feels a bit heavy, give it a try. Just just walk around and start naming what you love. Write where you are and see what happens. Have a great one. Cheers.
