Uh hey everybody welcome back I'm Vera I'm Mia and we are special homicide all right the album of the day is Dream Unending and Worm split Star Path. You guys know my favorite band is Worm. I love Worm. I love this album as well. Um I actually did not do any research today because I wanted it to be mom's episode today, and also I knew I would never shut the fuck up if I said anything about Worm. Um like I didn't last time. Um I never posted that. I gotta get on that. You need to lock in. I do. I completed I completed a seven-page essay today. I don't know what you're talking about in like two or three hours. Look at you, go and cocoa. Yeah. Um, anyways, I love Worm. They originated in Florida. Dream Unending, I don't really know much about, but personally, in my opinion, I think they're the pink Floyd of Death Metal. Death Metal! Doom metal! This is Doom Metal, it's not Death Metal. It's a Worm started out and they're a Death Doom band, but they're not anymore. I don't fucking know. They changed genres like Taylor Swift changed boyfriend. That's good. It is gonna be the death because it it I really miss their swampy era. I love swampy music, like shit that takes place in the swamp. I don't know why I eat that shit up. I like swamps, um, but only when I have like really good like deet or um mosquito or pellet. Oh yeah, especially because they're in the Everglades. There's swamps here too, though. No, I know. Oh, worms everywhere. Oh, yeah. Well, there's worms everywhere. Yeah. Encyclopedia Metallium is saying that they're located in Quebec, Canada. They're not. That's just Phil. Philippe Tugas, the guitarist of Worm right now, he's he's in Canada. Maybe they feel like everybody else should be there. I just gissy Phil, feel. Oh, see what I did there? That kind of tickled me. Um, okay, but uh yeah, Worm is a really good band. I suggest you check them out, but don't too many of you check them out because I like keeping them a little underground. She likes these really obscure bands. I do. I love obscure bands. I love feeling like I'm the only person to know about something, and most of the time I am, but you know, I think I'm probably the biggest worm fan in Kansas because I've I spent another $40 on them today. Oopsie. They replaced they released back patches with a company that I would never normally shop with. Because I just don't like them because you remember you guys remember that episode I did with Leprosy by Death as the album of the day when I talked about Chuck Schuldner. Um so Chuck Schuldner, long dead, right? The only consistent member. This band this brand, which I'm not gonna name because I don't want controversies, makes bright pink and cute designs of death. Mind you, the guy's not alive to consent to them. Um and I don't know, it just really makes my asshole itch because like this is the first death metal band, and you're like gentrifying it. I don't know, because like it's supposed to be counterculture, and I guess it's counterculture to the counterculture and make death metal cute, but that pisses me off something fierce because like the whole point of the band was gore, death zombies and shit, you know, like just piss and nasty zombies can't like pink. No, I'm not allowed. Fuck it, yeah. That's not allowed to me because I'm in charge. But I know we said we were gonna lock in before, but we're really, really gonna try to lock in now. Yeah, Mia has like a social life. I actually don't. I don't really know. She goes a lot of she's been doing a lot of fun things lately, which is good. It's good. Get out there, have some fun. I went to the La Dispute concert recently, um, and I really liked it, but I almost threw up in the pit and turned it into La Dispu. Thank you. I really tickle myself with that one, but um I went there with my friend Spencer. We love Spencer. I say that every single time we mention him on the We really do love Spencer, though. We do have matching tattoos, so I really hope we like it. We've been through some really cool adventures. Yeah, like when we got stranded in Oklahoma. We just couldn't worm our way there. That wasn't for worms. Oh that was for Scott. Well, son of a bitch. Son of a bitch. Oh wrong, wrong, wrong. Uh yeah, sorry, I really like this album. I'm gonna like tune into it a couple times. Yeah, I might like space out and go like it. Yeah, yeah. Dream an ending, I actually think you would really like probably. I do like a lot of the things that you introduced me to. Oh yeah. Except for when they're screaming. Hey, so they're screaming in like all of it. Okay, but the frog song, uh, I like the frog subject. She's talking about sex drugs and fecal gore by um guttulax. It sounds like frogs singing. I don't know how I managed to get that, but you did good, you nailed it. Thank you. It's I was like, oh my gosh, where's he at? It's like a guttural inhale. You gotta like, you know, Sotico from the ring. Oh, yes. Yeah, you gotta kinda do that. Yeah, I know. To be fair, I also have training because scare actor, but I really like learning the vocal um techniques, even though I can't really do most of them. Um, I can do low gutturals though, because I have to for work, but yeah, yeah, yeah. Footlocker really requires me to do low gutturals by myself. But oh, I forgot to clean off that CD case. I'm sorry, I'm getting like sidetracked. I thrifted a C D case a couple days ago and it's right there, and I forgot to call it. I was wondering where that came from. Oh, yeah, I found it. Yeah, it's really nice. I was hoping to like keep it down here. I figured that it was Chris's because he's been going through all of his army stuff, and uh my husband just out processed from the army. He, you know, got his DD214 today. He's old, super exciting time. Um, because now he could focus on doing one job full-time instead of two full-time jobs because oh my gosh, he was gonna wear himself out. But um I'm surprised he didn't. Oh, I was worried. But he went through all of his army stuff in our garage, and I kid you not. You could have opened your own surplus store for some. You really could have. Speaking of which army surplus stores are so cool, they're fun. Um, he he didn't get to keep his Wubi though. He didn't get to keep his Wubi? No, oh, I'm taking him to the surplus store. Yeah, I mean, he's I think he wanted his Wubi. I don't think he's uh you know, but I get it. They're so nice, they are. He was he was, you know, I guess it's a giant like paperwork pain in the ass to keep your Wubi when you're like turning in all your gear. Just don't tell them. I mean, 26 years of gear, and that was like a lot. Just don't tell them. I never got one. No, no, no. There's like I helped him go through, I was doing the checklist because he's going through everything, and like Mia was like showing me this really cute tea set she got, and I was like, I can't see it right now because I'm checking things off because he had to get it done like quick, fast, and in a hurry. Yeah, so but he's done now, he's pretty excited. Because I like this part of the song, so but okay, so um, I'm sorry, I interrupted you. Oh no, you're good. Worm. Worm good, dream blue nothing. What that's the name of their other album. That's an EP. Um, Dream Unending. I'm sorry, I'm in like essay mode. She just wrote like how how many pages was it? Seven pages, six or seven? 19 uh40, 940 words. It was double spacing. I'm actually really lazy, but um, I didn't want to do all that. I really didn't want to do all that. It's still seven pages. I'm gonna do my homework on uh Sunday morning like a true procrastinator. Hell yeah. Yeah, anyways, dream unending, amazing worm, my favorite band, really good, awesome. Okay, go ahead, mom. All right, so um, today we're gonna be talking about some of the investigations that we've done on in an undisclosed location on Fort Riley, um, with a ton of in-and-out activity. Ton, ton, ton. Every day. But before we dig into that, I want to clear up a little bit of misconceptions that some people may have about spirit activity. So um oh spirit. Spirits are generally attracted to deep and intense emotional like issues. Uh they're drawn to like prolonged strong emotions like fear, anger, or sadness. Um, they go to like they go to places where trauma, like old houses, hospitals, prisons, or sites near historical violence or accidents. Those are common hot spots. So Fort Riley, there's a ton of history because there's been a lot of shit that's happened here. But not only that, but the first original like you know, pandemic started here, you know. The first one that like you have your influence pandemic, and then you have your first pandemic, and yeah. So, anyways, so so that's I always say not to be confused with blah blah blah. So when you said Spanish, we said Spanish flu, I said not to be confused with Spanish fly. Oh, do you know what that is? Oh, that's what I said. What the fuck are you talking about? Oh, I thought you wanted me to explain why I did that. No, but that tickled me. Okay, so Spanish fly is a very strong aphrodisiac that people used to use. Oh yeah, yeah. I still have no idea what you definitely would not want the Spanish flu and the Spanish fly at the same time, would not work out. Well, you're fucking sick. That would be knee slapper. So, anyways, all right, I'm gonna keep going. Okay, but telling me the truth. They do and they do attach themselves. Spirits attach themselves to like personal items or like antiques or something like that, or me everywhere I go. Well, because you're an empath. I don't want to say I'm an empath, though, because then I sound like Shane Dawson. Yeah, I'm actually an empath, so I'm gonna do a be empathetic. We can cut that out. Yeah, we will. Um, so, anyways, but uh so they're attracted to people who are very spiritually grounded or empaths or children, animals. Is it because I'm a children? Or is it because I'm an animal? Because I got that dog in me. You know what? That so maybe they're attracted to me, not because I'm an empath, but maybe so fucking amateur. No, it's because you're so pretty. It's because I'm so pretty. Yeah. You're pretty. Oh my god, it's because we have the same face. So basically, um, oh, and they're attracted to electromagnetic magnetic frequency. Buildings with a with old wiring are a lot of like copper wiring, copper wiring, computers, like stuff like anywhere that you're gonna have a lot of people. That must be why there was so many spirits in ancient Mesopotamia. That was a really niche joke, but go ahead. Sorry. Um, I was like, wait, no, the the uh epic of Gilgamesh, the Epic of Gilgamesh. I don't know what that is. An Asir, I think, was a copper salesman, and he sold really shitty copper. Um, and there's like a stone tablet from one of his unsatisfied customers bitching about him, and that's like the oldest customer service complaint in history. Please write that down. We need to do the epic of Gilgamesh. Yes, you're ready to go. Okay, put it in the book. So, um, so basically, um, a building that would have a lot of computers or electronic devices, computer children or animals or super emotional people. You made me write down computer. So any kind of building that would have a lot of that stuff in it is going to be a huge portal for spiritual activity. Um, so basically, um what a lot of people think is that spirits react. They so I'm gonna back up. There's a common misconception among people who dabble in the spirit realm that who don't know a lot about it. That and I'm not saying I know a ton. Posers, but okay, oh my gosh. So people who are not as well-versed as we are. Oh, that's good. Who I'm very good at being a bitch in a subtle way. Okay, so I'm not trying to be a bitch. No, I am. But okay, so here's the deal: like, if you've been around it your entire life, you know. I've been around this my entire life, so I know. Um, Mia's been around this her entire life, so she knows. This is something that you know we've you know, we've always done, and it's things that I spoke to, you know. It's not like we have a choice, elderly family members about. And it no, we don't have a choice, this is just something that we're born with. Sorry. Um, but so some people think that spirits um become active. So if you were in a building with a lot of animals and the animals started to act crazy, um, people would think some people who would misunderstand spirit behavior or uh paranormal behavior, sorry, would think that the animals were creating more of a spirit, more spirit activity, so to speak. So if I were in a if I were in like a pet store filled with dogs and birds and cats, and the cats and the birds and the dogs are all freaking out, rah, squawk, squawk meow. And uh next thing you know, you know, shit starts falling off the shelf. And to some people, that would be like, oh, look, these energy stir up. These these animals have stirred up the energy. No, you're just pissing off the ghosts. So actually, what happens is when it comes to children and animals, they react to spiritual activity. Spiritual activity doesn't react, doesn't become a so a lot of people, not not a lot of people, people who are not uh familiar with the way spirit activity works, uh, may think that the uh the spirits are reacting to the animals and the way that the animals are behaving, when actually, when it comes to animals or children, like in a school or you know, other yeah, oh yeah, yeah, like a school. Yeah, school. Um, what happens is children and animals react to spirit activity. So if you notice that if you're in a climate and you see a rise in spirit activity, generally what's happening is the spirits are either being influenced by a negative or um super a lot of fear, or they're being invited, or you know, or there's it's being suggested that they're there, or people feel angry, or they feel guilty, or you know, whatever. So what happens is um if you have a bunch of people in shitty moods in a place like let's say that people were pissed off at the pet store because it was closing, all the employees are mad. The store's closing, they're gonna send these pets other places and they'll be taken care of, but the employees won't be. The employees obviously are not gonna be in the best mood, and and they're probably gonna be spreading that toxic energy throughout their workplace. Well, then what's gonna happen is that toxic energy, that anger, that resentment, that fear, that uncertainty, it that's gonna attract more spirit activity, and then as a result, that toxic energy, that anger, that resentment, that fear, that uncertainty, it that's gonna attract more spirit activity. And then as a result, children or animals will have a reaction due to the influx of spirit activity because it gets so intense, it is, it does get intense, and they don't understand it and they don't know how to react to it, and and they and they can't explain it. So if a child or a dog or a cat or a bird can't say, Oh my gosh, something is not right here, I can feel it, they're gonna lash out, they're gonna act up. Um, but an adult or somebody older, you know, who just has a shitty attitude, you know, they are going to attract that energy. Because how it works is, you know, if you have somebody who is um not emotionally healthy, what happens is they are attracting it's like um that manifestation, you know, whatever you manifest is what you'll see. So if you if you are in a bad mood, oh man, I feel like a rain clouds follow me all the time. I just you know I have the worst luck. Guess what? You're gonna have shit luck. You're gonna have that fucking rain cloud. That's all there is to it. That's kind of how ghosts work. It's a magnet, that negativity, those strong emotions, you know, that just kind of speaking of which, let me check on the storm. Brings in one, I think it's calmed down. I can see some sun. That's pissing me off so bad. Um, so how spirit energy works is through vibrational frequency, and they exist at a higher, faster vibrational frequency than physical humans because they lack physical bodies. They often use electromagnetic fields to interact with our world, which is why lights flicker, electronics malfunction, things fall, you know, whatever. Um people get grabbed by things that aren't there. So low bright low vibration spirits, they're often considered lost or earthbound, um, need to feed on human emotions to feel alive, specifically drawing on emotions like fear, anger, or deep sadness. Yeah. Now, those are emotions that everybody feels. Everybody feels them, you know. Um, now if you have residents, the employees of the pet shop who have nowhere else to go. That pet shop, those people are pissed off. So, and those dogs are like, Where's the problem? And they're like, Meow, I don't fucking know. Squatch squat. I'm just saying. So um, the big thing is, you know, spirits are self-aware, they're conscious, they're entity, they're conscious entities, you know. Sometimes they're loved ones, sometimes they're guides, sometimes they're lost souls, and they can can they can choose to stay or they can leave or they can communicate. Now I'm gonna pause for a second. Sometimes sometimes a soul can be trapped in a place of trauma. Oh, yeah. They can. So um if it's uh if it's like an earthbound spirit, you know, and it has some sort of strong tie due to trauma or whatever, you know, it's uh it's really hard for them to go. So um, I do want to put and you gotta force them out like a plunge of toilet. You do. So um the big thing is and now we want to look into like um trying to sorry, I'm gonna a lot of the times these spirits are coming in for some sort of connection or assistance, and so you'll find that they'll go to a common spot where they kind of hang out, you know, they kind of congregate there. It's like they don't belong there because people are supposed to be, you know, positive in that environment, you know. Um, and they're just stinking it up because they died such a traumatic way or something, or they've got such a traumatic energy. It's like if someone takes a shit in the shower, right? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, listen, listen, listen. Okay, I've got a point here. It doesn't belong there, right? So sometimes you need someone who doesn't mind getting their hands or feet dirty to waffle stomp it down the drain or uh exercise it, you know? You know what I mean? That's like I think that's like the best way we can describe what we're describing in this episode, which is one of our adventures. Yeah. Waffle stomping that shit down the drain. And I mean it just kind of happens, you know. Um, the problem is is that um how ghosts end up like picking people or being attracted to people or certain areas, is um they tend to look for people who are who have some sort of energetic sensitivity, like an empath, um, people who are highly intuitive or sensitive, um, and more perceptive to have a more have a better perception of like autistic people. Well, there's that. Um, we're like walking antennas, honestly. Yeah, really. Yeah. Um, there are some that are drawn to people who are experiencing strong intense emotions like grief trauma or anxiety. Um, this can create a crack in their energetic protection.
SPEAKER_00Crack.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you say crack. Say crack again. Crack. Um, so sometimes sometimes they do have unfinished business. So I think a lot of the reason why we have so much spirit activity on Fort Riley is because there's a lot of unfinished function. The business there. And so generally what happens is a spirit or whatever, a spirit or a ghost, whatever you may call it, will try to seek out somebody. The turd. The what the turd doesn't belong. The turd. I'm not gonna call them the turd. I'm gonna call them the turd. No, I'm gonna call this one the turd. Oh, that one, the demon. So she's talking about um god. Kevin. Kevin. Oh fuck Kevin. Yeah. So another way that okay, I'm gonna move on from this. I was gonna say if you come in contact with a spirit that you are not wanting around you, spirits are everywhere and they're drawn to energy. They may be drawn to you, they may just be curious about you. But I will tell you this much. Um sometimes it's diarrhea and they slip down the drain on their own. What the fuck? I don't even know. I don't I I'm really trying to keep the shit in the shower kind of argument, but it's just turning into a whole thing. I just don't even know. I wasn't expecting that. Okay, it slic down the drink, but sometimes there's hair blocking it. You gotta open the hair.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01It's too much. Oh my god. Okay, so excuse me, no more shitting in the shower. Yeah, don't shit in the shower, guys. That would that doesn't work out well for anyone. She's freaking from no I'm not. No, I'm not. She's a liar. No, no, no. But if I did have it, that would probably a good process. Oh, right, right. Yeah. So right. Um, so what I will say is um there's just there is a common. Should I just jump into our investigations? Yeah, yeah. Honestly, you're yapping. I am yapping. You're oh, it's you this time. It is me. I mean, there's just so much. I kept it short with worm. Yeah. Well, I just I really want people to understand like how we are able to communicate with them. So um, it's something that I've been able to do since I was a child. I will never forget it. Never. Um now, as most people don't remember, um, you know, before the age of four. I actually remember when my sister was born. She was she's two years younger than me. I remember the hospital room and everything. Um, but I remember the first time that I spoke with a spirit, and I did not know it was a spirit, and I was four. And I I will never forget it. We were living in a house on Oak Street in Tacum, Washington. Was I four too? Yes, you were. You were four. I mean, not at the same time as me, obviously. I don't think so. No, no, you were you were about four years old. Um, because that was when you saw my grandmother and you said she was the tooth fairy. Yeah, yeah. And you know, and then Melissa got promoted to the tooth fairy. My friend Melissa's the tooth fairy, by the way, but yeah, we can't tell tooth. So, anyways, um the one I spoke to. She is she is the tooth fairy. She is the tooth fairy. So I will never forget. Um, the first one I saw was when I was four. His name was one was Juan Popo. That was his name. I will never forget it. His name was Juan Popo, and um he would wake me up, and I I just we would play together. I wouldn't see it was an old man. Oh, it was a very old man, you know. But I'll I just to me he was he was my friend, he was Juan Popo. So and I never forgot he wore a white shirt and a black tie. Oh yeah, yeah. I I I have never told anybody that, but um, that was the first time I was speaking to a ghost, and my mom told me, she said, Um, I think that you are talking to a ghost, you know, and we didn't talk about it for a long time because I was only four. It's not like it's something you want to talk to your four, five, six, seven, dick! Um, but it's something that mom knew I was able to do. And so she could do it, right? Yeah, she could. She didn't tell a lot of people about it, but I knew about it. It's something we talked about. Um, so it's something that I've been able to do my whole life. For a long time I didn't, bless you. Oh my god. For a long time I didn't really focus on it. Um, but I've really gotten into working on grounding myself and you know. You're welcome. Thank you. It actually was Elizabeth that got me into oh right, right. Yeah, it was Elizabeth, not not your witch daughter. Well, I mean, you and I worked, we you and I worked together on these things, but she was the one that really I started practicing witchcraft at like eight. So um and I wouldn't say that what I do is witchcraft. It is. I'm blowing out a birthday candle is witchcraft, Mom. Well, you know, you know what it is? You're making a wish and blowing out a candle and killing it, it's manifesting. It's manifesting. You know what? Four-leaf clovers, that's witchcraft. Horseshoes above the door, that's folk magic. Ah, you know what? You're right. So maybe we're all a little witchy in our own. The blood and body of Christ communion, that's witchcraft. Isn't that wild? Not really, honestly. I mean, it's just when you think about all those connections. So, anyways, no, yeah. This I I I we're we're I but I digress. I couldn't have said it better myself. Thank you. So we um Mia and I have really started working on investigations, and Maddie and Maddie's done several of them with us. Um, and so she kind of had to pause for a while because she was pregnant. Yeah, you really don't want to be doing these things when you're pregnant. It's that's the last thing. Weren't you living in that freaky ass house when you were pregnant with me? No. Oh, we gotta bring Maddie on to talk about that. Oh no, Maddie's there's a lot of things Maddie wants to talk about. Um I'm really excited for that. Me too, actually. Her debut. Oh my gosh, we'll make a big deal of it. Hell yeah. We have a roses. Oh my gosh, yes, black roses, yes. So, um, so Mia and I really started working on this together consistently over the last few years. Maddie's done it with us as well, but since she had my baby, my baby grandboy, um, she's kind of pulled away from it because that's just you don't want to get something like that attached to your little one. You don't, um, especially in this family. We're very good at like energetic cleansing. Um, so it's okay. We know how to deal with these things. And if it takes stealing holy water from a church, then taking a shot of it. Yeah. I took two shots of holy water after our trip to still. Yeah. We forgot to post the clip of that. Oh, the video I got. So so this is where this is where we are. So we do these investigations, we have a ton of data and evidence to support the things that we do while we document it. Um, but the place we're talking about is on Fort Riley, and it is a building that is um, we won't tell you what what it is, but I will tell you that there is a ton of activity there. And um physical and spiritual. Physical and spiritual. I want to make I want to say a PSA before anyone starts to like, because I know we've talked about using the the speak ghost apps in the past, but I want to like clarify that we have proof that these actually work because a lot of people are like, oh, that's funny, that's funny, that's funny. Whatever. But we have multiple devices going at the same time, yes, and it says the same thing on both of our phones when we do this, and and but we also have our thermocam going, and we have proof, and we have our um our other digital recorders going, yes, and our um energy things. So we we we use a we use several different not to mention we've literally seen when we were in Chicago, it said surgeon, and on the other side of the wall that we hadn't seen yet, there was a picture and uh I just flipped off the camera, an exhibit about the surgeon who create who like turned this lady into something like a sex doll. Pretty much, yeah. Yeah, yeah. We hadn't seen that yet, and it's neither at our but it was in my ear, it was in my ear on my um digital recorder, and it said surgeon, it said surgeon at the same time as my verbal app. My my ghost app was going on my phone, and so it just kept saying it over and over. And so I looked at the guy, I was like, Who is the surgeon? And he said, Oh, that's around the corner. And then we got distracted by Charlie Manson's sweats. It was so cool, it was cool, it was very cool. So I know yeah, there's a lot of activity there, a ton. So, but and I won't tell you where it is, I just I'll tell you that we've done a lot of stuff there. You're like, you're you're you're I know, I'm repeating myself. Okay, I'll end up cutting this out because fuck my life right now. That was embarrassing. Yeah, it was yeah, this is a lot. So um, so this is gonna lead into um our next tidbit that we're gonna go into. Let's we'll tidy this up and then we'll talk about our investigations because there's a lot of fucking now who's yapping tons of conversations that we've had with these guys. Like a shit ton. Uh, I know that they started in 2023, it was the first time we had a paranormal team. Actually, it was the first documented paranormal team that wasn't our paranormal team that visited there, and they brought all their equipment in, and it was October 28th in uh 2023. You're making so okay, so we brought in several paranormal teams this location, um, as well as our own, because when we first started doing investigations there, it was 2022, and then I brought in a team in 2023 that was not affiliated with us or any of our equipment. They brought their own equipment in to confirm a lot of the things that we were seeing, and it was actually really interesting. I wish I was there for that. It was cool, it was cool. I was in another state. She wasn't in October? No, you were working at the haunted house that night. Right, right. That's why you weren't there. And you were at another haunted house. Yes, I was a very big haunted house. Very big haunted house, very big haunted house with some big, big energy. I was getting paid though. They hey, they got big ghost energy. Oh my god. So we're gonna go into the specifics of that. BBG, um that was stupid. I'm gonna cut this one out and then we're gonna start over and we're just gonna start listing the investigations. Okay, okay. Um, because I'm gonna have to edit a lot of the shit out of this anyway, and I'll leave this part in. I'm gonna tell you right now, we had a few side conversations about some of the things we can and cannot say because we need to behave ourselves. So she needs to behave herself. This is her episode, it's our episode. Thank you very much. You talk a lot too. I just talked a little more. I wasn't talking that much this episode. I uh I was actually relatively tame for an episode with Worm as the album of the day. And Pet Source. Again, we don't have the right to these albums. No, we don't. We haven't liked to listen to them.
