Pink. And what's your favorite episode that you've heard? Ooh, now you have to remember. This one. Oh, okay, yeah. Okay. Well, anything else before you leave? Okay. So now you have to say bye.

SPEAKER_00

Bye! Anyway, today we are doing a Proverbs walkthrough and we are going to be reading Psalms 3. So let's get into our game. So this is um like brand slogan trivia. So here we go. Number one, what is the brand for just do it? That's a Nike. Number two, I'm loving it. That'd be McDonald's. Number three, have it your way. That's Burger King. And then number four, finger licking good. That'd be KFC. Number five, eat fresh. Subway. And then number six, melt in your mouth, not in your hands. Although these have melted in my hands so many times. It's MM's. Number seven, taste the rainbow. That'd be Skittles. Number eight, the happiest place on earth. Not true. From what I've heard. It's Disneyland. But um me and my siblings were watching this um video and they were going to Disneyland and they said Disneyland more like weight land. Um, so but number nine, snack or snap, crackle pop. That's Rice Krispies. Number 12, America Runs on Duncan. Number 13? Is that what it is? I have no idea. Um, like a good neighbor, what is there? State Farm. I love that little song. Then number 14, have a break, have a Kit Kat. That is my favorite candy, so I had to add it in. Okay, well, I hope you enjoyed that game. I thought it would be a little bit fun. So my high this week is that I'm going to teen camp next week. I'm so excited. Um, me being the type A person I am, I make lists for everything. So I made a list of things I need to get from the store, a list of things I need to pack, a list of things to put in my suitcase, a list of things to put in my backpack and to take with me on the bus and so on. And my low was that I don't really have a low. So let's just get into our Proverbs walkthrough now. So I'm going to read Proverbs 3, and then after I'm done, we can talk about what we learned and how we can apply it to our lives. So here we go. And by the way, this is KJV. Um, so my son, forget not my law, but let thine heart keep my commandments. For length of days and long life and peace shall they add thy shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee, bind them about thy neck, write them upon the table of thine heart. So shalt thou sorry, show so shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. And all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes, fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel and morrow to thy bones. Honor the Lord with thy substance, with and with the f first fruits of thine increase. So shall they barns thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. My son despise not the chastening of the Lord, neither be weary of his correct correction. For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth, even as a father, the son in whom he delighteth. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the grain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. See she is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her, and happy is every one that retaineth her. The Lord by wisdom hath foundeth founded the earth, by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes, keep sound wisdom and discretion, so shall they be life unto thy soul and grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When thou liest down thou shalt not be afraid, yea thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked when it cometh, for the Lord shall keep thy confidence and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbour, Go and come again, and tomorrow I will give, when thou hast it by thee. Devise not evil against thy neighbor, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. Strive not with a man without cause if he hath done thee no harm. Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the forward is abomination to the Lord, but his secret is with the righteous. The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked, but he blesseth the habitation of the just. Surely he scorneth the scorners, but he give giveth grace unto the lowly. The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the promotion of fools. And that was chapter three. That was thirty-five verses. So it was kind of long. But Proverbs three teaches us that God wants us to trust him and to follow his wisdom instead of relying on ourselves. So one of the biggest lessons that we can get from Proverbs three is actually from Proverbs 3, 5, and 6. Pretty popular verse, which says, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not into thine own understanding. Um, so sometimes we don't understand why things happen or what the right choice is, but God sees the bigger picture and he promises to guide us when we trust in him. So this chapter also teaches us to be kind, honest, humble, and generous. So in Proverbs 3, 3 and 4 tells us to hold to mercy and truth, hold on to mercy and truth, meaning we should be loving and honest with others. And Proverbs 3, 27 and 28 reminds us to help people when we can instead of putting it off. Um, Proverbs 3.7 teaches us not to be wise in our own eyes, but to fear the Lord and to turn away from evil. It reminds us that wisdom is more valuable than money because wisdom helps us make good choices and live in a way that pleases God. Now, verse 13 through 15 says that the person who finds wisdom is blessed, and that wisdom is more precious than rubies, which is saying something, because rubies are pretty precious. Um It also shows that um when we when God corrects us, it's not because he wants to correct us or bring us down. It's because he loves us, just like a parent loves their child and wants to guide them in the right direction. And verse 11 and 12 teaches us that God corrects those that he loves just like a father corrects a son he delights in. Um that's why parents love their kids, because well, that's not why they love their kids. Never mind. Okay, so we can apply Proverbs 3 to our lives by trusting God when we're worried, telling the truth even when it's hard, helping others when we have the chance, and asking God to guide our decisions. So instead of always asking, what do I want to do? We can ask, What would God want me to do? Um, so the main passage or message of Proverbs 3 is simple. Trust God, follow his wisdom, treat others well, and let him guide your life. Okay, well, I hope you enjoyed this week's episode about Proverbs 3, and I also hope you learned something valuable to apply to your life.
