I literally just got off the plane and came straight home and made it in time to be here with you. Real talk. Real talk. I got off the plane from Canada. Wifey picked me up with Alina because she had a day off. And dropped me home about like 10-15 minutes. I was like, you know what? I was gonna go rest. But I said, my people are waiting for me. Let me go talk to them. Let me go vibe with them. Let me tell you about my weekend. Oh man. Oh man. Well, let's not start with me. How you guys doing? How are you guys doing, man? I hope you had a great weekend, man. We entering uh the month of April. We done entered the month of April. And everybody, you know, I hope you had a great weekend. Nessa, how you doing? Heavyweight bullies in the building. Killer Touch in the building was popping. Ripper Heart Away, how you doing? Mistress Music in the building. How you doing, family? MC K K Colin? I'm about to tell you my Montreal trip in a minute. I'll tell you that in a minute, Mr. Colin. I got you. I got you. Um yeah, man. So your weekend went well? Great. Blackwell was popping. Oh, we popped. Yo, listen, tonight, new music Monday, 10 o'clock. Yeah, we're popping off tonight. So, I'm glad your weekend went well. As for me, we all know the starting of my 50th birthday weekend has started this past weekend. And, you know, man, I can't tell you how overwhelming this past 48 hours has been. Let me tell you something, man. First of all, you guys, I want to say you guys, friends, family, fan base. I call you guys the triple F. Alright? Friends, family, fan base. Man, you guys showed out for me, man, and I appreciate that. I truly do. Thank you. Thank you so much for pulling up, popping out, and hanging out with your boy these past 48 hours. Saturday was amazing. Like, first of all, if you are a big huge fan of hip hop, I'm talking about if you love hip hop, if you love, you know, b-boy, graffiti, djing, mcing, you know what I mean? You came this Saturday and you knew about you know about Keris One coming to my 50th birthday bash. Listen, man. Saturday night was so amazing. Like, I'm gonna be honest with you. Chris, I want to say Chris, Keras won, he came to Miami two times already. One time I bought him down in Wynwood at a place called Um The Joint, right? And that party was great, it was awesome. You know what I mean? You know, it was great. It was awesome. It was it was dope. Um, the second time, I believe he came to Lincoln Brewery, and from what I saw online and everything, it looked dope too. It looked dope. Um, people was telling me it was it was it was dope. But man, this Saturday, and and I heard it from the people as well that went to those last two parties. It was like, yo, K R S one, shut that thing down for Epps' birthday. You missed out. You missed out on a Blastmaster K R S one. I want to thank Heroes Live Entertainment. I want to thank Rock the Bells. I want to thank Chemistry Nightclub. You know what I mean? It was a group effort thing, you know what I mean? You know, all my DJs, DBJ, uh uh G Funk, shout to Tito Love, everybody that helped me out. Shout to my man DBase, you know what I mean? Shout to Daniel Farrakhan with the with the with the wide lens and the the the taping and the photos, like everybody that came and showed out, I appreciate the love. Karis one shut it down. You know what was so ill about Chris? A lot of people was was, you know, um, they were expecting something from Karas One. What was that something? People would be like, yo, apps, I know Keris one's about to come shut your birthday, but is he gonna freestyle through his whole throughout his whole show? And I was like, listen, man, knowledge reigns supreme. I don't know what to say. Whatever he wants to do is what he wants to do. You know what I mean? And and you know, I seen Chris, you know, do this several times. He'll even bring MCs up on the stage, and it'll be a rhyming freestyle fest. But this past Saturday, KRS won with all his hits, classic, timeless performance that he put on, and and he surprised me with Mad Lion. Oh my god, Mad Lion is my boy, and I haven't seen Mad Lion for about over 20 years, and for him to just come out on stage and just shut it down with all of us, man, it was amazing. Oh man, I had a great time, everybody had a great time. Now, I want to ask you something. What DJ you know could have Keris one on one side and Mad Lyon on the other side singing happy birthday to me. Yo, and Patois, and yo, they were they were yo, I swear to god, it was reggae style too. Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you, man. That was an absolute dope show, dope concert, dope party. Um, I appreciate everybody that came out to the 50th birthday with Keras One. If you missed it, you done missed it. You can see it online. Um, from my team is telling me I'm I'm trending over the weekend. So um you can see all of those videos of Keras One um online. Now, yesterday, yesterday, okay, so after Keras 1, you know, the party ended like around like 11:30, right? Um I ran home to go grab my suitcase and I chilled for like about two hours. I thought I was gonna sleep. Thought I was gonna take a quick nap, but I I didn't. I went straight home, and and and and and I was on my gram and I was watching all the videos, all the recaps. Everybody was posting videos of the Kerry S1 party. Mind you, I'm I'm I'm home and I gotta go catch a flight to Canada, Montreal. So, you know, I met up with Wayne Wonder. We went to Miami Airport and we got on a plane. I haven't slept yet. I'm gonna be honest with you, I have not slept yet. Went on a plane and went straight to Montreal. And it's cold out there. Like it's cold. It wasn't, I heard it was snowing um a couple of weeks back, you know what I mean? But it was pretty cold. That's why I'm in my sweater and everything. Um, but uh Montreal, you know, showed out. Montreal showed out. The Remnus Party sold out. Um, I want to thank you know all the DJs that came through. Um, I want to thank my man DJ uh, sir, that that you know helped make all this happen. You know what I mean? Uh sir, he's in the building. There he goes, DJ, sir. Let him know you're in the building, man. Um, you know, that's the man right there. When I go to Montreal, you know, he takes care of me. That's my guy right there. Um, you know, Wayne Wonder, thank you. You know what I mean? Um, you know, and and yo, the crowd at the Remnus Party was amazing. The ambiance was crazy. Um, you know, shout out to everybody that celebrated their birthday with me yesterday. There was a lot of birthday people. Um and uh Melissa, um, I forgot the sound man's name. Um, I know his birthday was a couple of days ago. Everybody that celebrated a birthday in Montreal yesterday. It was absolutely phenomenal. The the the the ballroom, the plaza, the venue, sir. I can't say that that venue was man, that place was dope. Like, you know, the lighting, oh man, it was dope, man. It was dope. So, you know, after you know, we shut that down. Shout out Wayne Wonder. Wayne Wonder, man, let me tell you something about this guy, man. So humble, so humble. You don't know who Wayne Wonder is? He has classic reggae hits like uh No Letting On Uh Saddest Day in my life, man, and some other classics, the CNN joint. Oh man, oh man, yo, we was throwing classic back to back, and the crowd was singing. Oh my god, had that place hummin'. Had that place humming. That place was upside down. Wayne Wonder tore it down. Fixing my mixer fit sent a paper. Man, that I took my mixer out this weekend. I I wasn't really happy about that, but I had to make it happen for the Keras home party. I'll tell you about that later. But yeah, Wayne Wonder, shut it down. DJ, sir, shut it down. Quite saying, all the DJs, Chief K, you know what I mean, Thunder, everybody, everybody shut it down. And uh, I appreciate the love Montreal, and I can't wait to come back and hang out with you guys again. Um, since day one, you guys show me the utmost love, you know what I mean, and and I appreciate that. Um, so I'll be back soon. July 18th. I know my people's over there. Uh, they're having the the all-white party over there. So get your tickets. Um, that's gonna be starting selling on Thursday, I believe. So get that and make it happen, all right, sir. Thank you. Thank you. You know one thing about us. I'm gonna talk, I'm gonna talk to DJ, sir, right quick. Us. Not only that we're Haitian, not only that we respect each other, but we felt our energy from day one. I don't know if it was the Zoe in us, it could be Mr. C alone. Every time we get together, we talk about Mr. C because that's his brother, that's my brother. And you know, when Mr. C passed away, it seems like me and Sir gotten closer and closer and closer and started working with each other and helping with each other. He'll come to Miami and come hang out with me. You know, man, Rock the Bell Cruz jumped on there. He'll bring me over there. Like it's listen, I told you that a couple of days ago, ladies and gentlemen. Us DJs feed off each other. There's no room to hate. You have to work with each other because we all we got. Like some of you DJs, y'all wait for a paycheck, paycheck, paycheck, and this promoter, and you're probably even chasing your promoter, you know what I mean? But you're not handling your own business, you know what I mean? This music industry for DJs has become a business. Yeah, if you want to make your business and you want to do the paycheck and go do weddings and stuff like that, totally understand because that's a business. But if you are there to just you know, DJ for bottles and hookahs and look good and try to get girls, you're not gonna last long. I'm gonna be honest with you. You're not gonna last long. Take this DJ business seriously. You know what I mean? No, Sir D is a gym, and that's why I keep him close by me. And I'm pretty sure he keeps me close by him as well. You know what I mean? And and we make things happen. Now, you know, one thing I I um, you know, a little backstory for what happened this weekend in Montreal with me and Wayne Wonder. Wayne Wonder was about was supposed to come out there twice in Montreal. Wayne Wonder got booked by some promoter. We all don't know who this promoter is. You know what I mean? He got booked by this promoter, and the promoter disappeared. So now it's being promoted in Montreal. Wayne Wonder is supposed to come, shut it down, and then twice the business did not happen, and Wayne Wonder did not come. You know what I mean? Thank God Wayne got his his money. He got his money before he went, he was supposed to go out there. But for some reason, the rest of the business didn't happen. The flights, the hotels, whatever. So, you know, as I'm calling Wayne and I'm telling Wayne, come to Montreal with me, man. Let's go have some fun. He was like, you know what, Epps? God works in mysterious ways because this promoter that did him dirty and made his name look bad in Montreal. And I was like, well, let's go clean it up. Come to Montreal with me and let's go show them how we really do it. And he was like, Man, blessing, blessing. Let's go. And, you know, Montreal, I had to do that. Not just for you, Montreal. I had to do that for sir. You know what I mean? DJ, sir. I want my man to show, you know, Montreal what a real business promoter looks like. That's what it is. Even though y'all already knew, y'all seen it. New Year's Party, all white party, deja vu party, uh remnants party. Like y'all already know. But at the same time, me and Sir, we felt like Montreal needed, they they needed that. They needed to get Wayne Wonder out there and make sure, you know, they know Wayne Wonder. It wasn't Wayne Wonder's fault at all. At all. It was that promoter. You know what I mean? If y'all know that promoter, whoever it is, go get your money back, whatever. But I'm glad y'all came out to the Reminence party and y'all saw Wayne Wonder and y'all, you know, rocked out with me. Sasha, how you doing? Thank you, Sasha. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. I really, really, truly appreciate it. So, yeah, now, you know, even after the party, we went to the hotel for about one hour. One hour. And it was time to head back to Miami. Like, the flight was already waiting for us. The jet was waiting for us. Yo, man. And I just got back right now. Like, I haven't slept. My my my voice is is is kind of gone. I haven't slept. Uh, sir is like, yo, when you get home sleep, man, you know you're gonna get on at 10 o'clock tonight. Play that new music for everybody. But yeah, I'm gonna rest up after this, man. How you doing? So, yeah, man. So my 48 hour has been amazing. My uh beginning of turning 50 journey has been exciting. Excuse me. Exciting. You know, made sure he was at the airport on time, made sure he had the water for us. You know what I mean? Man, you know, did a great job. K Solo, legendary K Solo, red men's brother K Solo is celebrating his birthday with me at Tomorrowland in Miami, Florida, along with DJ De Niro, along with DJ Zay, along with my girl Jules, along with DJ Tito Love. It's an Aries celebration, it's a Taurus gang celebration, April 17th in Miami at a place called Tomorrowland. Uh, go to my event bright, go get your tickets right now. And we're about to have a great time. Along with Mims, this is why I'm hot. Oh my God. We're gonna have a big hip hop party. It's an all-black affair, too. Gotta wear all black. I know everybody's been wishing me birthday happy birthday, early birthday. You know what I mean? But April 26th is my exact birthday. And we're gonna be at the Miami Improv in Dural, starring finesse Mitchell and friends, comedies, comedians about to roast me. We're about to have some fun. Like, I want y'all to laugh. I want y'all to just let it all out. Whatever problems, negativity, stuff that you've been going through, leave it at home. And I was in my slippers and it started drizzling and raining for a little bit. And yo, I, you know, when I came off the bank and I stepped down to go inside my car, man, my slippers slid in the in the water and I fucking bust my ass. I'm like, yo, dude, I can't be fucking falling at the age of 50. That shit don't feel right. That shit don't feel right. I got a scar on my knee. Um, and and I had to I had to suck it up all this weekend. Y'all wouldn't have noticed I was in in in a little um a little tiny knee pain. You know what I mean? But yeah, but your boy is good, you know. I mean, I'm gonna let her heal up, I'm gonna rest up, put the feet up, and all that. But um, yeah, you know what I mean? Gotta be careful.
